My husband and I recently decided to host our wedding after party at The Lady. Jonathan (the manager) was a dream to work with and made things so easy for us and our guests. The DJ was fantastic and our friends and family have not stopped raving about the party since. So so much fun, cannot recommend highly enough!!

Music/dj… PHEENOM! Bartenders… super sweet! Bouncers… only seen about 3 personally, but felt quite disrespected by others, and was very uncomfortable by that! Which is unfortunate, because my experience inside was great!

Cash only cover but they have an ATM. It’s a fun bar with many floors to explore. They do have pool. They had a DJ when I went that we enjoyed for the most part but he did play a little too much EDM. Friendly staff!

The lady was wonderful, vibes were great, Brooke was the best bartender. Would recommend 10/10

After stopping here after a concert, it became clear it was not a safe place to be. After being quickly charged $30 to enter (told it was $5 for females, $10 for males (my brother). I was expecting a peaceful night. Soon after my $15 was collected, I was told my boyfriend would not be allowed in without extra money (aka my remaining $15) and my “careful watch” due to him being too “drunk.” (Quite literally my sober driver.) This bar clearly has a problem with women being able to protect themselves from disgusting situations with men. Don’t come back if you want a safe environment. $30 later and no (safe) men allowed!

The Lady is a creative and reimagined rebranding of a previous Hartford staple. It provides multiple levels of bar service, a brand new arcade, dance floor, and all around fun time for anyone looking to either have a drink after work or dance the night away in Hartford.

A changed place.Very different from last time we were there.It has 3 floors, each floor is different. open air at 3rd floor.Very friendly bartenders. Nice atmosphere and the crowd is neat and civil.The only thing i didnt like is the lack of a cabin door in the men bathroom on the 2nd floor. Its a shared space and i am not sure its the way to go.Besides that we will come back in the future.

The area was good but the drink has too much ice and really the drinks wasnt nit good. It like the same with the water

I recently visited the Russian Lady in Hartford, CT, and I must say it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was lively and energetic. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their extensive drink menu.The bar itself had a great selection of Russian-inspired cocktails and a wide range of other drinks to choose from. I highly recommend trying their signature Moscow Mule; it was expertly crafted and absolutely delicious.The live music and entertainment at the Russian Lady were top-notch. Great place to vibe with friends! Plenty of room to get crazy on the dance floor. Staff is friendly and drinks were fairly priced. One of the pool tables was missing a good portion of balls, but not a problem if you play creatively. Would definitely go again!

Needs more variety with music. Predominantly reggaeton with a splash of other genres on a Saturday night.

Love the russian lady and often go here with my group of friends. But this specific review is for the male bartender who worked on NYE at the main bar right off the corner off the dance floor with the two ladies.I went this night with two of my girl friends. We paid the extra money to get the open bar feature. We walked up as a group because I needed a drink refill and my other two friends wanted shots. We ordered three shots and one of my friends just took two because I just wanted a drink and not a shot. One of friends took their shot and left a $5 bill to tip the male bartender and left to talk to her friends she had just ran into, leaving me and our other friend at the bar to order our regular drinks. Before my friend who ordered the shots walked away, she told me to make sure he (the bartender) got his 5$ tip because she was walking away.Being it was NYE, an open bar, and just simply packed, I put the 5$ in my hand with my cup and I was just going to HAND the bartender the 5$ from our shot order when he took my drink order. the bartender refused to serve me, threatened and cussed at me for “stealing his money” even after he saw us three as a group. I tried to explain to him that the 5$ came from our group and she was my friend who left the money and I was going to hand it to him when he took my cup but he would not listen to me. I understand where and why he could’ve thought this, but it was really frustrating being treated poorly and not being listened too when in the end I was just trying to make sure he got his tip from our shot order.

Worst bar in Hartford? I dont think its a stretch to say you wont find a more unprofessional establishment in the area. Dont get me wrong they play good music and you can have a good time here, but the management and people in charge leave a lot to be desired. None of their phones work, their hours on Google are wrong. I think my favourite part about this place is that they need to hold on to your ID while you use their ATM to obtain cash to pay their cash cover! Absolute circus!

After being mistreated by a bouncer and reporting the issue, Management reached out to me to apologize, took disciplinary action against that individual, and insisted that we return so they can make it up. Great work! I appreciate the efforts by management 👏🏽

Prior to having my brothers birthday party, it had probably been over 10 years since Ive been here and I must say, the service has only gotten better with time! Alex Saylor and his team did amazing job executing all requests and addressing any concerns, swiftly. The food was good, the music was great, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this club.

Drinks were great! Three djs, multiple bars, full house inside ! Even had a roof top patio empty !!

Lots of character, limited menu, food we had was good. Security on premises and close to the XL Garage. Restrooms are lacking and need updating. In the booths have your own TV for sports. Staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. Went early for meal after event at the XL. They have a 8-10 PM happy hour with reasonable to very good price. I would recommend and go again.

Russian Lady is fun and the drinks are not too expensive. The music is good but they shut their doors too early. Ive been to Russian Lady a handful of times. One time they were already mopping the floor at 1:15AM. Another time they kicked everyone out at midnight. Besides that, this place is fun with friends (and its technically the only one of its kind in the area anyways).

Eh it was okay. I went on 10/30 and they charged a $40 cover charge per person !!! It was crazy! But I had a good time. Drinks were well priced. Not sure if I would go again! But it was a cool vibe.

I go there consistently and they’re miserable to the core. I get it; be serious, do your job. That doesn’t mean that you need to speak to us in a condescending manner.In short: They ain’t pushin’ P.

Nice vibe in here. There is a cover charge on weekends and fridays. But if you get there before 9 you should be fine. The dance floor was not really packed so good spaces to display your moves.

This place was cool. I liked the fact that there are different floors, with different music, so you can mix it up a bit! The bartenders were cool, and I have to say, when I requested ice to eat for the rest of the night instead of drinks (it does get HOT in there), the bartenders were quite nice about it, and I appreciated that!

We went on my Birthday and it was a Thursday night. The place was kinda empty but the music is great and there is plenty of room to dance. The outdoor patio is awesome! I will be back thats for sure!

Went for their NYE party.Has three different floors with a DJ, bar and bathrooms on each plus an open roof. Theres also a billiards room on one of the floors.Staff was friendly and pleasant.Drinks were kind of a hit or miss.Overall it was a great night but I hear from locals that its not the best on a regular night? Would go again for NYE though.

Great spot to hang out! Many different floors with different vibes on each level. Pool tables and dance floors. Weekends are a blast. A must when in Hartford if youre looking to cut loose.

Used my card at the machine for the cover charge and then got mysterious charges the NEXT day 🙃 Poor service! The bartender girl with the tattoos is VERY prejudice. She skipped the black group to serve all the white people REPEATEDLY then was rude to my friend for tapping her on her arm. she CLAIMED my friend was assaulting her and would get kicked out 😑😑 I paid 8.50 for a drink that was basically WATER. They barely have bartenders, the ones they do have are rude as hell. This is definitely a bar for college kids who don’t know quality drinks or service….

The all you can drink is a waste. Barely any alcohol. Better to just buy the drinks with the real booze amount.The club atmosphere was weird. Awkward people standing around. Rooftop was nice but lots of smoke. Dont think Ill be going back. Hartford can and should do better

Came for a show which was awesome. Drinks were ok. Asked for a menu but the bartender said they dont have one. Tough getting upstairs in heels on a narrow staircase, but good service upstairs. Better than downstairs.

Fast and efficient service with good food. Great place to go to before or after an XL center event. A lot of fun on Friday and Saturday nights too. They have really good DJs and my friends and I always have a great time! My favorite spot is their rooftop bar!

Came here to destress after work with a bunch of friends. This place has a sweet thing going with 5 different settings in the same club, as you move from room to room theres a different vibe in each one, its awesome. The $10 cover charge is a little much, but we had a good time anyway.

I havent been there in a while. The place has only improved. Our waitress was topnotch... Knew her stuff, listened, quick, friendly and funny... that really does make for a good relaxing time! So 5 Stars it is.

They get the full five stars not just for having a friendly and rustic bar but also for their beautiful roof deck which doubles as a cigar lounge, with some good choices from their in-house humidor. Recommended.

Kind of a cool space to find right next to a sporting venue - great decor. They might do well to tighten security and who is admitted in but otherwise a funky place

Although we didnt make it past the first 10 yards of the Russian lady and were asked to leave shortly thereafter, I figured it deserved a brief review anyway. The decor is a bit eclectic - dentist chair? but liked the door knockers on the bar. The bartender was friendly and downed a couple shots with the group. Would be better if it did not close so early.

Never dull when i come here bartenders are friendly music is greatUpdate: today 02/10/18 is my birthday I called a week in advance to book a vip for today. I was told that my name was on the list and I was all set. I call again today to make sure that what I was told was true and it wasnt. Supposedly they are all sold out and a manager isnt present to speak to to fix or help the problem at all, after asking for a manager 3 times and getting hung up on they started sending my calls to voice mail.

Fun to dance but I hope the owner or management sees this comment : at about 1237 am before 1 am (when they actually close ) the guy security came into the womens room as I was in the stall! Saying that its closing time to get out.. . 2 things thats extremely violating and inappropriate and also it was not 1 am...

Fun bar with 3 floors. 2 bouncers on the roof are funny guys, ex Marines one speaks my mother language well, like a good spy! If I will be back in Hartford I will come again much appreaciate the VIP

The place was cool, but the staff treated me like a 20 year old with a fake ID. The wouldnt allow me to order a shot with a beer and they wouldnt let me have a shot less than 15 minutes of having the previous one.

I purchased a ticket to the Russian Lady for NYE two weeks before the event. Days before the event I went to the doctor and found out I had the flu. I tried calling the Russian Lady 10+ times days before the event with no answer in hopes of getting a refund. I even sent an email 2 days before new years, but they ignored that too. I finally spoke to a waitress on the phone on New Years, and she said a manager would refund me, and took my information down. The manager never refunded me, or even called me. Ive called several times since then and left messages, but once again no one gets back to me. Today I messaged them on Facebook, and the GM Jonathan answered me, but later left me on seen without helping me at all. After reading other reviews and talking to friends who have had negative experiences there, it is surprising to me how this place is still in business.

The Russian Lady is a great time. The multi floor layout is very cool and the rooftop bar is awesome. Would recommend if youre going out in Hartford.

Great place. I visited Hartford for a Rule #1 Phil Town investment training event. Myself, Jeff Town and Joey Miller had an evening break at Russian Lady. This was in 2012.

We usually love this place but cover was $20 for guys and $10 for women, we decided to walk away.

$15 at the door. Went with a bunch of friends on a Saturday night. Good music, first level has a DJ, second level has FJ, pool tables, dance floor. Good music, good ambience.

I likely dont belong here, but its been an icon since we turned 21 thirty plus years ago so take this review in context. We had a good time with highschool buddies despite being out of our element.

The only bar in Hartford with a cover. You pay $10 to get in, then buy overpriced drinks that take far too long to get.Not to mention this weekend was supposed to be a Mardi Gras celebration with drink specials. The bartenders had on beads, there was a face painter but nothing else like their event said. Oh and they didnt even do their drink specials.

Went here for a bachelorette party and it was a a lot of fun, but dont expect anything too classy if going later in the evening. Bouncers and staff were all very helpful and friendly.

TErrible. Ordered drinks from the bartender and he literally ignored me and went to go serve other people. Like blatantly listened to my order and then proceed to walk away and serve other people for about 20 mins. And then the manager refused to give me my money back. Never coming back again save your money

The atmosphere here is really comfortable, and I would definitely sit and have a beer here when in the area. But the food is not good, so if youre looking for dinner look elsewhere

Its definitely a hotspot. A meat market for the 20-somethings. Good dance music. In my youth I would probably rock that place every Friday

DJs are very bad. You have to be really drunk to be able to dance under thosesounds that they produce there. Otherwise place is OK.

Dress code can be too strict. Its a no hat, no visible chain kind of dress code. Other than that, its always a good time.

Didnt have cash on me and had to pay $1.00 for them to hold my hat, so they wanted me to use the atm there that charges a rediculus fee just for a dollar.

Great times here i prefer the bar on the second floor next to the pool tables because the bartenders there tend to be more down to earth

I did not find it very awesome. Croud was OK. But my main problem was value for money. For the same money I have had better experience.

There is nothing more russian than downing several shots of vodka before hitting up the dance floor. So do just that here at the Russian lady for a grand old time.
