Ive been a loyal client of Victorian Day Spa for the past 8 years, and my experiences have always been exceptional. From the soothing mother-to-be massages during my pregnancies to the rejuvenating facials, the services have consistently exceeded my expectations.However, my experience over the last two years has been particularly remarkable. Last year, after a complicated surgery, I developed a frozen shoulder that caused excruciating pain, especially at night, making it impossible for me to sleep. While physical therapy helped regain some movement, the pain persisted. Desperate for relief, I decided to try massage therapy at Victorian Day Spa.Catalina welcomed me with immense empathy and care. From the very first session, I experienced a significant reduction in pain and regained some mobility in my shoulder. It was so effective that my primary care physician provided a letter to my insurance, enabling me to receive additional sessions. Thanks to Catalinas expert massages, I was able to sleep again without unbearable pain, and within two months, I regained full movement of my shoulder.I am forever grateful to Victorian Day Spa, especially to Catalina, for their exceptional service and care during such a challenging time.I highly recommend this spa to anyone seeking a place to relax, rejuvenate, and experience massages that truly help your body.

I’ve been to Victorian Day Spa twice now and I thoroughly enjoyed both! The first time I did the CBD massage and it really helped me fully relax(which I struggle to do ). Second was a couples massage and it was my boyfriends first time and he was definitely nervous but by the end was ready to book another one. We will be back SO soon! :)

This spa is an epitome of wellness. This isn’t your mother’s mani-pedi and massage. This is the massage that is keeping my migraines at bay, and pedicure that aided at particularly painful ingrown nail. It’s the type of spa that is not only relaxing, and luxurious, but actually makes their clientele feel better. It doesn’t just treat the surface, it treats the whole person.

Magical spa evening with my daughter at the Victorian Day Spa. I love old homes and this beautiful Victorian didnt disappoint. Absolutely charming property and transformation from primary home to spa. sweetly decorated with unique and antique furniture. after all the amazing visual treats we then got to have two of the best facials ive ever experienced. My daughter walked out of their migraine free and with a beautiful glow. I walked in a ball of stress and walked out relaxed and calm. Just a special place that should be at the top of the list for any spa lover.

I was in West Hartford for a girls night. We booked this spa for facials. This was the absolute best facial I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. It was so relaxing, no upselling and very attentive. Reasonably priced. I’ll be going back from Stamford, CT to West Hartford, CT every time I need a facial. Highly recommend.

I am so happy I found this gem. Thankfully they were able to accommodate a last minute appointment for me on a Saturday. I got a facial from Logan and it was fantastic. My skin in glowing and it was so relaxing. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

A fantastic way to start a mother/daughter weekend! My daughter scheduled the mother/daughter/Mothers Day package and it was wonderful, and will be a annual tradition for us. Excellent services including a massage, facial, mani/pedi with coffee and tea provided, at a good price. Relaxing music playing during the services and friendly, and welcoming environment from the receptionist, to the owners, and to the other staff Johanna and Catalina. This would be the perfect place for a bacherlorette party with the nice second floor lounge area and the genuinely nice staff. Thank you Victorian Day Spa Team for a wonderful 4 1/2 hours! Wow!

I have had facials, massage, Mani and Pedi and everything was 100% amazing. Everyone was so pleasant, every service I had they made sure it was what I wanted, that I was satisfied. It is also very clean and very comfortable. Every birthday and Christmas When my family would ask me what I want I always say, a gift card to the Victorian day spa.

I really liked the salon, very clean and pleasant, the people are very friendly and it was very easy to communicate. The eyelash master was very pleasant and not much like what I appreciate in people, she worked neatly and politely. I am satisfied with the result, I have done this procedure before and I know how it should be. I will be back for sure

Had one of the best Therapeutic facials ever! Diane was my technician and was extremely knowledgeable and confident about the facial. Diane has a very gentle way, and just a nice person that cares about her client. I highly recommend her you won’t regret it!!!

Everyone is always very nice. The massage therapist gave me a great tip on how to relax my muscles to free up an extremely tight shoulder and the manicurist did a beautiful job on my really messed up nails. They do great work here and Ive never been disappointed.

I highly recommend Victorian Day Spa for your lash lift. I always wanted to try a lash lift and its overwhelming trying to find a place to go, so I pushed it off for so long. Learn from me, and all my searching, just make the appointment. Beautiful place, friendly people, and I felt comfortable through the entire process. I love the results!

Went in for the first time recently. I was nervous because I never had a massage before but after moving I really needed one. Catalina was my massage therapist and she was so gentle and kind. She really took her time especially on the areas I was having problems like my neck, middle back. I definitely will recommend and plan to go back. I hope to try their other services as well. Very professional and beautiful place.

Ive been a client of Victorian Day Spa ever since they opened their doors in 2000. Izabela and her staff are focused on providing the absolute best services and treatments. They are consummate professionals who take impeccable care of you from the moment you arrive. You simply will not find more meticulous manicures or pedicures anywhere else! Its always a treat to go! (And to leave feeling prettier and more relaxed!)

I had a deep cleaning facial today with Logan. Fantastic experience. I have a sensetive skin and yet left there with no redness or spots and I can tell you she dug in there lol. Look forward to coming back.

My husband find this spa because he wanted to give me something special for my birthday. It was a delight to receive servive (couple massage) there. Since you enter the place you start to feel calm. The staff were very polite and profesional. They new what they were doing. Very clean place. Loved the place so much that I went again to get my nails done and receive the same treatment. Very recommended!

I just recently got my first of many lash lifts at Victorian! I was very hesitant at first to do so as I have always felt my lashes were pin straight and hardly noticeable. After speaking with one of the estheticians she assured me that this service is in fact perfect for this reason.My esthetician walked me through everything she was doing and answered any questions I had along the way. When my service was over and I finally saw the results I was more than happy. I saw a clear difference in my appearance and have since fallen in love with my lashes. As someone who doesn’t wear make up I find it to be a beautiful addition to my everyday look!

Madeline is an amazing massage therapist! She has a blend of deep tissue and a firm touch that is close to hypnotic. You can tell this is more than a job for her. It is her passion which translates into an euphoric experience.

Little parking. This spa does not schedule breaks in between customers, causing my appointment to start late. I have no idea why they would schedule appointments without a 10-15 minute period in between to reset rooms.I asked to be walked through everything as it was happening, as it was my first facial, but instead got an overview beforehand and no warnings of getting water sprayed on my face or of switching from something warm to something cold.There was also a hair that got stuck in the lotion that kept getting rubbed over my face, as the staff member did not notice and I cant talk when you are by my mouth.It was not relaxing because they play water sounds and relaxing music, which do not go together! I couldnt relax at all.I came here because of a friends referral and a gift card, but I will not be returning. My go-to place in Newington is much more professional and cheaper!

My boyfriend and I went here for a couples massage, it was our first massage ever and it was the best experience. My boyfriend had Catalina working on him and Deb working on me. Both ladies were extremely nice and communicated everything. It was the most relaxing and relieving experience and we will be back!

Victorian Day spa performs eyelash lifts without proper accreditation. YouTube is not an accredited program! By law in Connecticut you need to have training from an accredited program and acquire a certification.Victoria Day spa is fully aware of this and is now promoting discounts on the service.This particular service is like a perm to your eyelashes and it involves chemicals and glue! That is very negligent to PRACTICE on your customers! You could harm someone! Thats not good business practice to mislead your customers and put their health at risk!Clients should come first Victoria day spa!

My first time at this spa. Overall, wonderful experience. I got a pedicure with sea salt scrub from Valentina - she was absolutely delightful!! We had great conversation and she gave me one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had.A bit pricey at $53, but the experience and atmosphere was worth it. Will definitely be back!

I did eye lush lifting and was absolutely with love with the result. It was my first time when I visited this place and I like it: calm, polite, very clean and stylish, specialist was very professional. I will definitely come back to try smth else!

Victorian Day Spa hosted me and a couple friends for a birthday session and it was wonderful. They are warm and welcoming, from the moment you check in. We had wonderful massages and facials. Highly recommend!

I visited the Victorian Day Spa with my cousin as a treat before her wedding. We did the Relax Together package for massages, facials and manicures and added on pedicures as well.The whole experience was very enjoyable. The atmosphere of the place is clean and makes you feel like you are spoiling yourself a little. Candles, nice art, soft music, staff that offers you tea/water, etc. We were in separate rooms for our massages and facials, then got to sit together and chat while we got our manicures and pedicures.The staff is very responsive and friendly. They were constantly checking in on things like how much pressure for the massage, what we wanted most out of the facials, how we wanted our nails shaped, etc. One of the women who did our nails was very patient and helpful while we were picking out our nail polish. Painting her own nails to show us the true color or doing a quick paint on our toes before the pedicure so we could see what it would look like.We were both about to fall asleep during our pedicures as they rubbed our feet and legs as we were so relaxed at that point. I wish I knew the names of the women who helped us so I could call them out by name.My only advice would be to skip the aromatherapy upcharge for the manicure/pedicure as its just a steamer type gadget that they put nearby. It helps cover the chemical smell of the acetone/polish/etc, but I didnt really think it was worth it.Great experience all around, though. My cousin and I are already thinking about our next visit!

Recently treated myself to a facial and massage. Two hours of total bliss! Every element was perfect, from the music and softly lit rooms to the wonderful staff. Felt totally pampered. Can’t remember the last time I felt so relaxed!

I received a resurfacing facial, which is listed as an 85 minute treatment when booking. The facial only last approximately 60 minutes. When questioned, they said the facial can be anywhere from 60-85 min. This is no where listed on their website and I’ve never heard of this in comparison to other spas. Overall, it was okay - minimal massaging and a lot of laying with products on your face. The higher price is not worth it compared to their deep cleansing facial, which is $40 cheaper and actually listed for 60 minutes. This is my second time here, but I won’t be coming back.

This is one of the best spas in Hartford & other surrounding neighborhoods. The staff is very incredible & accommodating. Theyre amazing at mani/ pedis, facials & massages. If you get the Feel Beautiful all inclusive package, youre going to have the most amazing 4 hours & leave super relaxed and pampered. Goes without saying, this place has become my monthly go to. They have parking available on site as well.

Excellent experience! Have been for several facial treatments with Liz. Very professional, excellent job. My wife just went for a facial and pedicure and enjoyed it immensely. Friendly people, relaxing, laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

Went there for a couples massage. From the moment we got there to the moment we left everything was top notch. The ambience was peaceful and relaxing, everything was clean, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The massage was great and we left feeling refreshed. I would definitely recommend.

The atmosphere is very relaxing-from the decor and comfortable furnishings to the variety of complimentary teas and special attention given to each customer. I highly recommend!

Prices are reasonable, service is welcoming, the inside of the spa is roomy and beautiful, the prenatal massage with Caitlina was amazing. My man enjoyed the gentleman’s pedicure.

This is a hidden gem. The downstairs level is a little dated but the services are exceptional. I’ve come for multiple facials and massages and always leave feeling great.

My wife and I have bi-weekly couples massages and we are delighted by the quality of the massages and the overall atmosphere and pleasantness of the folks working there. And, they seem to be handling the current Covid situation very responsibly.

This was an amazing experience. My daughter brought me here for my birthday gift, we had a massage, a facial and a pedicure. Each of them was done by an expert of their speciality and each one was polite and did an amazing job.

Had the most amazing surprise 40th birthday party here. There were 6 of us and we were treated like queens. The facials and massages were life altering. Cant wait to go back!

I have been going to Victorian D S for over 5 years had massages, and my lashes tinted for years only spa that masters the lash procedure with out any bad affects the staff is always pleasant and prices are good, treat yourself you wont be disappointed

Absolute respite. I have been going to this spa for 14 years and have always been pleased with services including massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I feel immediately relaxed - and leave feeling rejuvenated.

Came here for s spa day with a friend. I had a 90 minute massage in a room that was absolutely freezing. I asked my therapist to turn up the heat and was told there was only one temperature in the room and it couldnt be adjusted. She felt bad about it. It was impossible to relax and enjoy a massage in such a cold room. Afterwards, the young woman at the desk asked how everything was. When I told her how cold the room was and suggested that they get heaters for the room she said oh we have them, it was totally my fault that it wasnt in your room, but thank you for the suggestion. Wow! Frozen and dismissed. I wont be back.

Top notch!The quality of services, the treatment of the clients by proprietor and staff are incomparable that I have been a client for 11 years! They have great massage therapists, too!

Booked some services for a special occasion, the woman at the front desk confirmed the services verbally and then called a couple days before to confirm again. Day of arrives and they only had one of the services in the system. No real apology and they said they didn’t have time to put the other service their schedule. Just a lack luster “ I wasn’t the the one to book it so I don’t know” because of this attitude at the front desk I won’t be back.

Amazing spa! Went to get the deep cleanse facial and not only was it helpful, but also extremely relaxing! Recommend the deep cleanse to anybody who has oily skin.
