I was pleasantly surprised in the best of ways! Professional front desk staff and a very clean, well managed establishment. The pricing is more than fair for being right in the center too. I highly recommend. A great re-charge and it was a perfect balance of relaxation for this new dad. 5-stars and extra discount with cash! I had the 30 minute massage with hot stones and 30 minute foot reflexology. You get to pick you own aroma therapy oil too!

I recently visited the establishment. The therapist was skilled at his job. However, when checking in, I requested that they focus more on my quadriceps and shoulders, but the therapist spent the majority of the time on my back. I would recommend that they prioritize the body parts that the client requests. Additionally, communication was challenging due to the therapists limited English proficiency.

Amanda was very thorough and tended to all my needs. She checked in to make sure that the pressure was just right. I appreciated the cleanliness of the establishment. The entire esthetic was helpful with relaxation and calmness. It was easy to make and reschedule my appointment and was very accessible. Thank you!

I felt like it was a really good experience. I hadn’t had a massage in about 8 years. The woman who worked on me make sure to check in with me about the pressure and temperature of the hot stones. I felt very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is to have a bigger sitting area in the lobby when you first walk in.

My 90-minute deep tissue massage was fantastic. My massage therapist made sure to check in with me about the pressure, which was perfect. I was so relaxed that I dozed in and out of sleep! My body feels great and I can’t wait to return.

I have been getting massages for years. I work on my feet all day and I am constantly using my arms to lift. Amanda gave me the best Swedish massage I ever had and knew exactly where the tightness was to relieve my pain.Candy and Amanda are always in tune with which muscles are tight and n need of deep tissue work. They are consistent and kind and always make sure we are comfortable. My kids and I get massages here regularlyAs always my experience was relaxing and healing!! Eric was a new masseuse and I usually have one of the women. He did just as well as anyone else I have ever had and even did some amazing stretching with me. I’m a barber and on my feet all day sometimes for 10 hours and he knew exactly where my muscles needed deep tissue massage without me telling him. Just awesome as always!5/30/24 Amanda is always so in tune with where my pain is and how to relieve the tension in my sore muscles after being on my feet working as a barber everyday. Amanda does such a great job!!! All the staff do! I feel so good after my massages at Aroma I will never go anywhere else. So clean, so inviting and the choice of oils is perfect for your specific needs. Also, the back walking, foot work is fantastic for a deeper massage.

So my experience seems to be different than most of the other reviews. Ill start by saying if you want a good massage, for a decent price, with the convenience of booking quickly, then this is a good spot. However I will say, the overall quality of the experience was not what I was expecting from a 4.9 star location. I had a couples massage with my girlfriend. There was no option for the both of us to specify which part of our bodies to focus on, as there was only one diagram for us both to annotate. We were in the first room and were able to hear the noise and talking through the walls of the front desk. The music wasnt loud enough to actually set up a peaceful atmosphere. I had an hour long massage, which the first 30 minutes of was through the cover/sheet. So this made me really hot and begging for lotion. The head rest/cushion was also really tall, which kinked my neck and was quite uncomfortable. My girlfriend on the other hand happened to get some scratches on her neck from her massage, and also had her lower back hip bone repeatedly jabbed that ended up bruising. In general, our massages were vastly different. So like, not sure what went wrong with our experience. On a positive note, I got an unexpected nice stretch at the end of my massage that cracked my back which was awesome. The masseuse also wasnt shy about getting on the table to really get in there which was great. Hot rocks were a pleasant surprise. Also got a really long and needed knee massage which I didnt expect. So take that as you will.

A girl that gave me the massage stood on my back balancing on only one leg on my thigh. I’m not a heavy person. I told her that it hurts several times. She laughs like it’s a joke and says ‘Is this your first time getting a massage?’ And no it wasn’t. Pressure is not same for everybody and she definitely needs more training.

I was a walk-in and was looking for 90 minutes, but they only had 60 minutes available and so I was happy that they could squeeze me in. I got the 60 minute reflexology, including bodywork. The therapist was very professional and did an amazing job.

I loved the way they manage availability of massage therapists on short notice. While other massage salons make you wait at least for a week, I always got quick turnaround here. It’s said, good service which is not available, is of no use. I’m happy that I never faced this problem in Aroma Massage. We opted for couples massage and it was very relaxing. The massage therapists for sure have knowledge of pressure points. I’ll definitely come again.

Every time I come here, I have an excellent experience. I have arthritis and I just had the Swedish massage with Bala, and she was excellent. Just what I needed when nothing else worked.

The therapists are very skilled. The customer service is second to none. They have a very relaxing environment, and they are extremely professional. I have never had an experience that was anything less than excellent. I recommend them highly.

My boyfriend and I went in for a couples massage. I have been getting massages since I was 15 (23 now) and Tina gave me the best one I’ve ever had! She found knots I didn’t think even realize I had. I felt like I was transported to a Tibetan respite. Lola was able to pinpoint all the trigger points from head to toe literally. I had a foot and back combo massage. So worth it. They are friendly and very accommodating. I’ve been to many places. This by far exceeded all expectations. Thank you for an hour of much needed relaxation I left feeling rejuvenated and energized.

I always get deep tissue. If you want true healing get a deep tissue from a therapist trained in China. Any spot that hurts needs to get worked out, so expect it to hurt while on the table- but its SO worth it in the end!!!

The prices are incredible (even *I* can afford to do it every two weeks), the place is clean and quiet, the waiting room is comfortable, relaxing, and clean with water bottles and information about the different types of massages and aromatherapy oils available. Everything is thought of in advance; there’s a place to keep all your things safe directly in front of you inside the massage room and they have butterfly clips to tie back your hair. The music and low lighting help you to start unwinding and the walk-the back technique was INSANE. Who knew someone’s feet could have so much dexterity? My girl was undoing the kinks in my backs with her toes! First experience with hot stones, too, but I now wish I could sleep in a bed of hot stones because…WOW. Definitely will come back. I’m already starting to feel better two days later!

I cannot describe enough how amazing this place is. It is clean, courteous, we showed up a little early and they took us right in. The masseuses were absolutely incredibly talented. Wasnt for me I booked an appointment for my fiance and she was very happy and love the atmosphere and was so happy with her massage that she is booking a couple massage in a few weeks so safe to say its a must try

First time visit. Let’s be clear - it’s not a spa experience…you’re not transported to a soothing, relaxing place; I booked a 90-min deep tissue for me and a 60-min Swedish for my hubby on the phone - he didn’t take our names, just my cell number and when we arrived there was no intake form where you declare any medical conditions, problem areas. There’s an electronic booking iPad device to check in with your cell and you do get to indicate the type of pressure requested, but I don’t know if the actual therapists you get see that info. As we waited for our appt time I can see what other reviewers reported about being “pressured” to tip - a group of 4 and a group of 2 were ending as we arrived and all of their massage therapists came out to the counter and stood there watching as those groups paid then literally grabbed the envelopes. And because there are so many therapists working at the same time, there is a bit of a conveyor belt feel in the waiting room.We were led to a therapy room that was set up for the two of us to be in there at the same time. We explained that we booked different length massages and we didn’t see how that was going to work when the 60-min was done and my hubby needed to change etc. while I was still on the table for another 30-mins. They tried to insist. We said no. They eventually led him to a different treatment room.With all of this shared, I can ALSO say that our massages were good overall. Tina’s deep tissue was DEEP (she has thumbs that can be used as deadly weapons) very thorough, included some stretching, hot stones, hot towels, attention to the scalp and face as well. When I asked her to moderate the pressure she did. The massage starts and ends with you under the sheet for about the first and last 5-10 mins but the majority is with the massage oils. Hours later I still felt my muscles aching and that’s what a deep tissue should feel like, so thank you Tina. My hubby’s therapist was Emily and he said his massage was fantastic. The price points are good, because there are so many therapists on staff availability is also good.If you just want a good massage without all the bells and whistles of a “spa experience” they’ll get the job done.

This is my new go to place! Today I went for my second deep tissue massage. They have a very easy online booking system and I was able to get a same day appointment which is so convenient. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. I received a great deep tissue massage with deep pressure as requested with usage of hot stones. It was both relaxing and pain relieving, the massage worked wonders at relieving my upper back tension. I can’t wait to return!

Fabulous massage experience! Lilly applied the perfect amount of pressure to help work out all the nasty knots I have. I haven’t felt that relaxed in a long time! It was an all body deep tissue massage but she also focused extra on the areas I specified (my neck and shoulders). The various techniques used were wonderful, including the hot stones and warm towel.I will definitely be going back!

I had Eric, Ive had a lot of massages throught the world and can honestly say this for not being what most would consider a luxury spa was one of the best massages Ive had. Left there feeling completely relaxing and wanting to book another visit.

With all the good ratings, I’m really surprised that I had as bad of an experience as I did. I’mGiving it two stars bc the price was affordable compared to others and the Location is convenient but otherwise, I definitely would not come back here again. I booked an hour long for reflexology. When I arrived, they took me into the farthest back room which was open, freezing (I left my jacket on the entire time) and right next to the door to the street/walkway. They were doing major construction inside in the hallway so it was super noisy with hammering and sawing and construction people were in and out of that door for the entire hour. The actual masseuse was a little strange - we started 20 min late and she just was kind of slapping me on the arms and shoulders to begin everything. The foot massage was ok but the couch thing that they sit you on is at such a weird angle that my back was killing me and after about 35 min,I called it quits bc I was so uncomfortable and sick of the noise. Of course I was charged the whole fee and got stared down as I was leaving a tip (which I did leave 20% bc it wasn’t her fault everything was so noisy, cold, and generally unpleasant). The massage was mediocre and didn’t make up for the aspects. Never again.

Today was my birthday and I decided to get a massage last minute, which was super hard finding an opening! They were able to get me in and the guy at the front was so kind and friendly. Very professional. The therapist, Coco was absolutely amazing. Hands down best massage I’ve ever had (hot towel and hot stone included)! I will definitely be back and will recommend to others. UPDATE: Had to bring down the 5 star rating to 2 stars because it turns out I was injured during my session...I now realize that the massage therapist injured me when she surprised me and began trying to stretch me - bending my knee and twisting it over and across my body and pushing on my hip - I did not at all expect to be or need to be stretched and as a result I have a serious injury and need treatment. Be careful!

Visited for the first time today. I called for a same day appointment and was seen within an hour and a half of calling. I had a 60 minute full body massage with Sandy, and it was AMAZING! Easily the best massage Ive ever had and Ive had a lot of massages. Parking lot in the rear or park on street. Nice atmosphere, quiet with spa music. Everything was clean. You get to pick from an assortment of essential oils for your massage. You can also pick your pressure for your massage - I got deep and it truly was deep - not weak. There was assisted stretching, hot stones, and a hot towel to finish off the massage. I am going to be a return customer for sure! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

It was pleasant and calm. It was very clean in the room and bathroom. The ONLY thing I did not like was the part when they are asking or basically DEMANDING a tip. She even walked outside and waited to see whether I was going to bring her a tip back.

I had a full body massage and tbh I had better. When I asked for more focus on my legs/back the women focused more on my chest. Very rough throughout and not as gentle as I expected. At the end of my session when I went to go pay they expected a tip after I felt the service was average. I felt forced to tip with not as a quality service. Most likely won’t be going back. Glad I tried it out though.

Joy is the best! I had a deep tissue 60-min session with Joy and she really took a great care of me! I suffered from pains at neck, shoulder, lower back and hand wrist due to sitting long hours. It was a simple in and out process. My masseuse was kind knowledgeable of her craft and professional. The massage was wonderful and I especially enjoyed the hot towels and rocks. They were amazing! The scented oils added a sense of aromatherapy and the dim lighting and music really set the tone. I recommend you give it a try it was very rewarding.

Aroma is amazing across the board! The space was very clean and modern looking, making my experience feel luxurious. My masseur was friendly, and the massage was perfect! It was the perfect pressure, the oil smelled beautiful, and the massage was never painful. The atmosphere was soothing, and I was really impressed!

This place was so great earlier but with the ongoing renovations things have changed significantly. The back room is gone, as are the heated neck pillows, headphones, eye masks, foot washing before the massage- replaced with an underwhelming standard massage room that staff does not inform you of ahead of time when booking specifically for a foot massage in the main room. Rates are higher, wait times are longer past appointment times, and all the above perks are gone.

Aroma is The Place for full body massages. The staff are friendly, professional but more importantly they accommodate your pressure needs. There’s parking in the back, the prices are fair and the atmosphere is very clean

For me, it has always been easy to get an appointment on the same day. Staff at the front desk have been very friendly. Pricing is on-point. The ambiance was comfortable, and even though the foot reflexology is given in a room that is not private (there are spaces for five others), I am always able to relax and feel at ease, with help of the much-appreciated eye mask and headphones which play soothing, peaceful music. The blanket always keeps me warm enough and they also provide a pillow behind your back, which they will remove if it is uncomfortable for you. The people who have given me reflexology/massage have been receptive to feedback and adjusted to my pressure preference. I also like that they provide a free water bottle after the massage.

My masseuse Tina was fantastic. She relieved my sciatica pain with just the right amount of pressure for me and stretched my body in ways I didn’t think was possible. I highly recommend Tina. Thank you!

It was a very easy in and out process and the massage was incredible. My masseuse stepped on my back and brought what I believe were hot stones, to really bring my massage to the next level. She was super kind and the whole massage was reasonably priced. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Best massage around! Ana is incredible. I had a 60min Swedish massage and they have options for additional time which I chose an additional 15 mins for reflex. They have an awesome array of essential oils to chose from - eucalyptus is amazing. Ana targeted my shoulders and back as requested and I left feeling brand new. Massage table was heated and massage also included hot stones and warm towels. Can’t wait to go back!!

This was the most disgusting experience of my life! I paid for my husband to have a 1 hour foot massage! Dropped my husband off to get his massage, paid for his massage and went shopping in west Hartford center! Came back about 10 mins before my husbands massage was over and waited for him to be done! My husband came out said it was okay nothing special he had experienced better! My husband took a $10 bill out of his wallet and handed it to a young woman, I am assuming it was his masseuse! Then we proceeded to exit the building! The gentleman that is at the front check in desk was on the telephone with another customer, we left the parlor! Next thing we hear this man”Sir! Sir! a tip!” Excuse me! We paid for the service already! He is literally out of the store about 50 feet down the street screaming at us about a TIP! This is the most unreal situation I have ever experienced! He left the customers in the store waiting on him, with the phone in his hand “the customer probably still on the phone” following us to get TIP!What is going on these days! I really hoped that you running customers down for a tip is worth themNever coming back to pay for any of your services!! Because a $100 foot and body massage seems to help business far more than a $10 tip!! Beware when coming to this place!! THEY WILL CHASE YOU FOR A TIP!! I mean 🏃👟💨 for a tip!

My husband is a truck driver and I sit at home on my office chair all day long….we both have very bad back pain on the daily basis so we decided to try something we both would enjoy. This massage was amazing, they did a great job getting all of the muscles we had pain with, we felt like new people after. We had zero pain walking out of this massage parlor.
