The best massage Ive ever had -- and Ive had a few!Sadhvi is a person of spirit who treats massage as a sacred calling -- but is very down-to-earth at the same time. (Shell talk or listen as much or as little as you want.) She had the perfect intuitive feel for the deep pressure that worked to un-knot me after a long drive to Asheville. I offered to take her home to live in my house in Maryland, and she laughed and said Thats not the first offer Ive had. I believe it.

Love the atmosphere, the interactions and service. Sadhvi is talented, knowledgeable and a kind person. She has brought me much relief in back pain. I would definitely recommend her.

I have had massages with both Mary and Sadhvi. Both are great; both use hot towels and stones (and essential oils, if you want); and I always leave relaxed! They genuinely want to help you feel better and will suggest things sometimes during the massage so don’t be surprised if they talk to you at certain points throughout the hour. I love that I don’t have to drive all the way to AVL for a wonderful massage experience!

It’s been about 2 months since I injured my leg during a very strenuous bike ride. The pain was severe and relentless especially at night. I went to the doctor and was given pain and anti inflammatory meds. Both had very limited effect and I felt I needed something more. I found Acu-Na and I’m so glad I did. Mary took the time to sit down and talk about my injury. She asks How did it happen and what can She do to help? Mary has knowledge, experience and expertise in several modalities including massage, cupping and acupuncture. I will admit that I am a skeptic however her calm demeanor and objective explanations inspired a confidence in me to try the whole array. As I told my wife and a close friend, this was the best 60 minutes in 60 days. The whole experience was wonderful and the first real therapeutic intervention with my problem. The acupuncture, something I had never tried, was easy, painless and exhilarating, followed by a massage using hot stones that was so relaxing and sublime. Mary quickly dispelled the illusion of a miracle cure. We are, as she explains, working in a neuromuscular system and stimulating the bodies healing process. When I went home I was almost giddy with joy I felt so much better and shared my thoughts with my wife. Acu-Na offers its services as a compliment too not a substitute for traditional medicine. In the following days my pain has diminished significantly as I have also reduced and possibly eliminated the need for and use of pain meds.It’s rare that you can say that something or someone has changed your life but in this case I believe that it has. I now feel that I am on the road to a full recovery. I plan to get back to my active schedule of hiking and biking asap and I fully intend to continue my health quest journey paying attention to diet and exercise and treating myself to Combination sessions at Acu-Na as often as possible. I highly recommend Acu-Na Wellnes Center to Everyone who wants to improve their quality of life.

Acu-Na Wellness Center is an amazing place! Ive gotten massages and acupuncture there several times now, and both have done wonders for me. I had been having knee pain that was making walking uncomfortable for me, and after only one acupuncture session, the pain was gone and Im now able to exercise much more comfortably and have a healthier lifestyle. The therapists are caring, professional and very skilled and knowledgeable. Im so grateful!

A friend referred me to Acu-N when I was in search of an experienced and reliable acupuncturist. I have been to Acuna before and loved it but have neglected my own care and nourishment during covid. I went this morning for one of Marys combo treatments - hot stones, acupuncture, essential oils, gem stones, massage. 90 minutes of pure bliss and physical and emotional healing. I have been going to acu-na wellness for the last 6 months. When I first started I could hardly walk the pain was a 10. Now my pain is 3 and improving daily. I can walk again and be up in my feet and legs for hours. I was on two blood pressure medicion and stomach medicine when I first started going there. I am now off my medicine and I have normal blood pressure. I am so thankful for being referred to this wonderful lady Mary Hodge who is so dedicated and knowledgeable about my health. Mary provided acupuncture in a community setting to myself and nearly 30 other individual for a Chakra Balancing event with friend, Karen, on the crystal bowls. They were professional and efficient, kind and welcoming, knowledgeable of mind and heart. The treatment was medicine to the soul and, personally, my body received the needles in such a way that broke up patterns of heat I was holding and allowed for a comfortable resolution to some of my imbalances. Just have to share, I visited Acu-na Wellness Center in Hendersonville, NC. I have had severe neck pain since February and have treated with Western medicine and Chiropractic. While chiro gave me the best results, I had no real relief until I visited Acu-Na. I have had neck issues for about 30 yrs and recently have gotten worse after Physical Therapy, Ive also had 2 rotator cuff surgeries and lower back surgery. Thanks to Mary and Acu-Na my life is good again and I actually have hope of returning to my active life again. This is the first experience with acupuncture and I highly recommend it.

I am writing to recommend Acu-Na to anyone in pain. I was in a motorcycle accident 6 years ago. Within the last couple of years, I began experiencing neck pain and numbness. My X-rays showed bilateral cervical stenosis as well as arthritic changes. I tried various PT exercises but no relief My husband found Acu-Na and convinced me to try acupuncture, so we made an appointment. I cannot exaggerate the relief only 3 treatments have provided. Mary was amazing with how she was able to get me comfort and reduce the pain and spasms. Acupuncture, cupping and laser stimulation all helped. I highly recommend Acu-Na to anyone needing pain relief or muscle relaxation.

I have suffered 20 years with neck and shoulder pain from an injury. I have had PT over the years and had short term success. Then I was introduced to Acu-NA wellness by a friend and my journey with Sadhvi began! In 6 treatments ,almost monthly , along with her advice of self care at home the pain and burning is no longer. My range of motion in my neck ...back to normal. I am able to do strength training with no discomfort afterwards and able to be active with outdoor gardening and activities and have no pain afterwards. What a Privileged to have had this opportunity! I suggest if your ready to do some intentional self care this is where you should go.

Highly recommend the Wellness Center for acupuncture. I went here about two months ago for treatment on a shoulder muscle that was causing me pain day and night. The second day after treatment the pain went away and has not returned. The atmosphere was restful and the treatment was successful.

For over ten years I was suffering from low back pain and taking opioids and muscle relaxers on an almost daily basis. I was skeptical at first, but after beginning acupuncture a few years ago at Acu-Na, I am a changed man and a firm believer in its benefits. Since that time, I almost never have low back pain with the severity or consistency that I once did and very rarely take medication for it (only two days last year and only because I definitely over did it.) Lily is a genius and she takes excellent care of me. I joke with her that she is the third most important woman in my life (after my wife and mom.) But, really, I’m not joking. She has been a life saver.

Ive had major sciatica issues for the last 8 years and I got a massage here and the massage therapist gave me some homework to do to help keep the pain away while I do my daily tasks, and I have very little pain as of recently.She also was so kind and personable and I really got to know who was going to be massaging me before I laid down for my treatment. I had a facial with Courtney and it was amazing! At the end of my treatment, my skin glowing and I was in a wonderful state of relaxation. I am sure I fell asleep during part of the treatment it was so relaxing. I hope you will take the opportunity to book a facial with Courtney! You will be glad you did!I also had the Native American Healing Session with Sadhvi. I have to tell you, the 2 hours flew by. It is hard to explain, however, I will try.You meet with Sadhvi before you start. You talk about your intention (what you would like to have as a result) about the treatment. It doesnt have to be something specific or it can be.Once you know what you want out of the session, the session is performed like a massage and it is so much more. There are some drumming and singing involved (on her part). I loved it. It helped me relax in a very peaceful place.She uses stones which are very soothing and they helped me calm my system down.I was amazed at the messages that came through loud and clear to me while I was lying there. Sadhvi encourages you to write them down or capture them in some way after your treatment is complete.I got a lot of clarity about issues I was having. I also was having trouble with my left knee. Within 24 hours the pain was totally gone with my knee. I got the message I was supposed to learn from my knee during the treatment and now it is healed.If you have something to release or you would like clarity around or you just want to take a walk on the wild side and pamper yourself for 2 hours, please give Sadhvis Native American Healing Session a try. Mary J was an amazing ,welcoming spiritual DOM.I am a veteran and they bill the VA for my treatment. I encourage all veterans to get in a good routine with accupuncture for pain management.I now have Lilly who also is an amazing DOM Her kindness is genuine and her empathy authentic.I feel like Im surrounded with family not just my last 4 ssn. Veterans will understand that comment. Lol

Lily is amazing. Ive gone to her with chronic stomach issues and back pain. Not only has she worked out this issues physically, she has provided a wealth of knowledge and given me helpful tinctures they sell in house. I wish I could go more but work and life doesnt allow it. This place is the best.

Perfection, 5 stars, is elusive and in my opinion should be used rarely for extremely stellar experiences. 4 stars may very well represent the plethora of cultural influences that both Sadhvi Velasquez and Mary Houge bring to their practice/art. It was an amazing surprise to be engaging with such powerhouse women that incorporated the practices of First Nations peoples into a clinical acupuncture environment. I have used Acu-Na for several years now and highly recommend them. I have all kinds of sports related injuries they they help me with. Thanks to Acu-Na I can turn my head to the left, straighten out my right knee, and pick up my left arm to the side. You should try them out!

This is a wonderful place. The clients/patients needs come first and the staff will use multiple modalities to help you achieve your wellness goals. I had been taking prescription meds for arthritis and fibromyalgia for a number of years. However, I do not have to take either of these meds anymore.

Absolutely the most comprehensive and thorough approach available in WNC. After just a few sessions chronic and dibilitating symptoms that have been present for years began to improve.Ive tried several other acupuncture therapies in the area and around the country - Acu-Na stands out as the best.

I suffered for years with hot flashes. I was seeing an acupuncturist for many months with minimal results. A friend told me about Mary Houge and I went to see her. I had my hormone levels checked through a lab. Mary put me on 2 supplements and started acupuncture. Within a week I already noticed a decrease in the hot flashes. Its so wonderful to wake up and not be soaked in sweat. I highly recommend Mary to anyone suffering from perimenopausal symptoms.
