Do not stay here. I went to take a shower and the shower didnt work. How can you rent a room with the shower not working. They allow smoking with the doors open. Too much money for low quality.

It was convenient quit and had no problems with having my own privacy. Employees were nice and went about and beyond. Over all a great place.

Nothing fancy at all!! They charge $40 a night for a dog,, totally wrong. Then on top of that $50 deposit for what I have no clue!! Not a lot of stores within walking distance, makes it difficult when your vehicle is broken down, And youre waiting on repairs that have taken almost a week now... Youd think out of the kindness of their hearts theyd give you a discount?,,, Theres no people like that anymore!!!

I stayed there a weekI had to pay a deposit for the dog had to pay $50 a night for the dog had to pay $65 for the room this room is not worth $115 a month without taxes could stay up the street for 110 no deposit no extra for the dog and I dont have take out my own trash

Room was relatively clean and very basic. Road noise was high as was the clientele screaming in the parking lot at 4am. It’s hard to believe a place like this can get away with $130+ a night but it is what it is. We rolled into town late and needed a quick place to stay and this was the closest and most convenient at the time. Service was good and friendly.

It’s cheaper to stay at extended stay in rapids or by the Shanghai Chinese restaurant for way better accommodations. This place needs to be torn down; seriously.Seriously if you stay here.. have a conceal and carry. DO NOT recommend this for a family or woman alone.Positives.. there is a worst place to stay at the strip mall next door to here.

The hotel is well handled by the owner who is doing her best to keep it clean and well maintained. Rooms were recently renovated, it was clean. I wasn’t expecting that good for a cheap value place and of course keep in mind it is a motel, so nothing more to expect that a good nice sleep and we did.

We were in town for a funeral... andbafter an 8+ hour drive, we were exhausted.The king size bed was probably the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in away from home.The staff was polite and helpful, and the room was clean.We will definitely use this location next time were in state... hopefully for a happier reason...

Front counter staff was friendly and smiling upon check in. Rooms were a little out dated/drab but not horrible!The empty run down Boston market in the parking lot doesnt give them much curb appeal.The beds were comfy even though they didnt look it when you first walked in! And relaxing! Plenty of hot water, good pressure! Cheaper than most in the area. Worth it if you just need a a place to crash for the night or weekend!Lots to offer close by within a 1-7miles radius. I would stay again!

Terrible Experience! I stayed for 2 weeks, room smelled terrible, I had to re clean the room myself. No microwave in room and sheets and blankets were dirty. Towels were hard and smelled, After 2 days of staying housekeeping came in my room twice without knocking first, second time my daughter was changing and the man stood there in the door way until she noticed he was standing there watching her, when I confronted the Desk about they did not care, very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL not to mention creepy!!! People knocking at my door all hours of the night and when I would look no one was there, felt like we were been watched the entire time, they kept on wanting to come in my room to check it??? Why idk? Essentially I ended my stay early got my money back from the remainder of my stay as well as my deposit! Do not recommend staying here!

I stayed three times, in different rooms. First time, room was clean, no problems. Second time I got six bedbug bites. Fridge was old, no microwave, and sink didnt drain. Third time, sheets were all dirty, the phone had no cord, and an outlet didnt work. Apart from that, staff are super friendly and the price is right.

Ok, to start, this isnt a big name location, and if you think bad things DONT HAPPEN at them you are sadly mistaken. The location looks shady and has some reviews that are sketchy, but the office staff was VERY friendly and gracious...we are a Hispanic family and they were nothing but the nicest people to us. The room was clean and comfortable for our stay. The location was very quiet for a Saturday night. More towels would of been nice and the tile floors are a nice touch. The room was a little dated. But overall very happy and will stay here again. We come to Holland at least 4 time a year and have stayed at other locations locally. This was our 1st time here and we are glad we made this choice.

The only good thing about this hotel is it is cheap and the owners were nice. Other than that it had a strange smell and Im pretty sure I seen drug deals taking place outside. It was pretty quite and would probably be a good place to sleep for the night in a pinch but it was kinda creepy. I wish I would have had my gun with me .

The lady at the desk and her husband were very nice and accommodating. I called last minute on a Thursday night for two nights, two rooms, for Saturday and Sunday and thank goddess they had rooms available! The rooms were very clean and great priced! I will definitely come back here next time we’re in town.

Worst place ever.... Stayed here for a week with a broken refrigerator and come check out time at the end of the week they told us that we broke the refrigerator and were keeping the $100 deposit we put on the room at check in.. told them it was broken upon getting here and if they dont believe that then your stuck paying for it. If you stay here make sure you do your own room inspection before staying the night or she will take your deposit..

We checked in about 4:00 and then went to the room to see if everything was okay. It was, all clean and neat. We went downtown for dinner but when we got back both beds were messed up. Not a lot but definitely unmade. Creepy!

All rooms smell like dead bodies. Bed is damp. The floor has mold growing from it. The bathroom is flooded. Air conditioner and heater sucks. It says free WiFi but there is none. And the T.V remote came with no batteries. I wouldnt suggest this place. Complete surreal catastrophe.

My family lived here for a few weeks. The floors were extremely dirty they blackened our socks and feet. Shower water always ran scolding hot or cold. It was expensive to stay for the conditions we lived in. There was mold in one room we stayed in, it made myself and our kids sick. They never fully clean their rooms. We had to buy our own toilet scrubber. The pillows were dirty and used and flat. The place needs to be inspected and torn down. Rebuilt with new management. I will never stay here again.

Absolutely Horrible!! Room had a horrid smell when you walk in, very dirty with bugs flying around, shower moldy, sheets stained, walls & ceiling stained, hole in the wall. Do not recommend to my worst enemy. Did not even unpack, took one look and turned around and left. Front desk help clueless. Id rather not rate but since I have to its get a 1

Horrible experience. Room was dirty, smellled like smoke. There were bugs in our bathroom. the maintenance man was inside our room smoking after the house keeper came in to change everything though the sign on the door clearly stated NO SMOKING. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Youd be better off sleeping in your car.

Worst experience of my life.. my family and I came up for the Tulip festival in town for the weekend and wanted to find a decent place to just come back and sleep as we were checking out the scenes of Holland. As we first pulled up to the hotel, we said 2 star hotel? We noticed some sketchy people walking around the place and the outside just looks awful. As for the rooms, they were very small and there was a tissue with some sort of snot matter stuck on the hole looking out the door.. the bathroom was so small the door almost hit the toilet.. the toilet seat was peeling, and there were reddish brown stains all over the bath tub. Also, the light above the sink didnt work, and water pressure was sub par.. the television only had around 10 channels with blurry vision. Just sad. We were all afraid that our vehicle would get its tires slashed or taken off that night because we didnt trust the surrounding area.. the front desk worker offered no refunds.. as a result of the false advertised and disappointing tulip festival, we headed back to the hotel and ultimately decided that our vacation had to end because the motel was not gonna make things better.. as a result, we just left the place we paid for without even spending the night.. please do not waste a trip here, IT SUCKS.

Im generally a pretty easy-going​ person when it comes to hotel rooms but this place is just aweful. I would not recommend this room to anyone. Extremely dirty rooms. Bed wasnt made, no TV remote, floors are gross, literally everything is stained, broken a/c and the beds are nasty. Never would I ever bring children to stay here! Also I feel the need to add that I felt very uncomfortable with not only the people loitering but the hotel staff. I was thankful my husband was with me or I definitely wouldnt have felt safe to stay here. Unfortunately due to last minute booking we had little to no options.. but overall Id give this place maybe a 1/10

Stay away!! Exhausted from 15 hour drive last minute stop to rest. I couldnt even sleep I was so uncomfortable with the inside as well as outside. Drug deals happening in parking lot, floors grimmy so keep shoes on, and just no warm and comfort in this place.

Aweful place. They give you a sheet saying no kids out past 6. You either have ice cold water in shower or burning hot. No in between. No microwave. No seating. Housekeeping comes by here and there if they feel like it. We have stolen medication from our room. I made a complaint to management a bit ago about their houae keeper trash talking my girlfriend for filing a police report about a different issue and the owner told me straight up that he didnt care. It wasnt his problem. Never would reccomend this place to anyone. Booked til Friday, already paid for it, leaving for a different hotel for the last day of our trip tomorrow. Cable has 4 Chanels. HBO does NOT come in as they advertise and TV loses cable every morning. The other people in the hotel knock on our door and windows to ask for a cigarette all night long. 2 am a few days ago. I will NEVER come back here. Aweful place

Room had awful smell when we walked in maybe milder who knows we thought just looking to rest been long day had no body towels tv was not working no microwave noisy but hey thought it would be better next day not after being gone all day hoping to come back to room we were locked out because they thought we only paid for 1 day room still not made when asked when she said when they get to it mind you its 3:30 in the afternoon i asked what are we suppose to do she say wait till we get to it. Wow really lousy not worth your money or time its a dump and the people who run it is just as bad BEWARE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

The staff seemed surprised that I had a reservation and had none of my information. The room was adequate at best if you ignore the damaged bathroom door where someone failed to satisfactorily remove a childs drawing, the gap around the main door, oh and lets not forget the cock roaches.

The staff literally cursed me out, and put me off the property, all because I told her I paid for a king bed through priceline, she tried to give me a smaller room for the same price. When I voiced my concerns, all hell broke loose. She started cursing, then her daughter started in on us. Do not go here. Worst hotel ever👎

Wish I didn’t have to even give a star!Long story short my mom, dog and I have been having a hard time financially and we needed a place to stay. This place was cheap and close to my work. But throughout our difficult time, these people wanted to treat my mom and I with total disrespect and ordered us to pay MORE than originally discussed and/or advertised. So rude and a total disregard to the people that deal drugs(cocaine) out of their property... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This hotel racial profiles people who are Mexican or black an will kick you out for no good reason. The rooms are not worth the price there charging. There management is garbage. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

Owner is always calling rooms accussing of non payment even if you paid and pets you dont have. They limit how many times you can have toliet paper and housekeeping doesnt like to clean if you stay a long length of time.

The most rundown hotel Ive ever been to. Also dangerous in the winter. They dont shovel or salt the walk ways or stairs, theres always trash lying around, and if you need to call a room it takes 20 tries too get through because their phone system is mixed up. Plus its not safe company there. Sex offenders, violent felons, drugs. It deserves to be condemned again.

The location is condemned as of 6/4/15 by the city of Holland. And yet theyre still booking rooms. After a long drive, that isnt something you want to find at the end of the journey. Also, the price for a room is quite high for such a scuzzy location, even if it wasnt condemned.If you want a place where you can enjoy the sight of Hollands local police force at work (since they were they when I arrived dealing with a situation), questionable cleanliness, and doors locks that only work part of the time, this is your place. No workable Wi-fi, either.

There were stains on the bed linens and hair and dirt in all the corners of the bathroom. Dead roaches all outside the walkway to the rooms.

They either need to give their housekeepers more time to clean, or they need to retrain because they are simply lazy. This is gross. MOLDY AND STINKY

I called about an incident that happened there around 8pm on the 21st of April 2018 my girlfriend told me about. I was greeted poorly and was told I was lying about why I was calling, and in all of this going on over the phone I was then told that somebody died there on that day. I feel like that this place needs to be under new management and the workers should be traind on how to talk to ppl better.

We only stayed here because all other hotels were booked. I do not recommend. Very dirty, our non-smoking room smelled awful. Staff were extremely slow checking us in. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Stayed for about an hour and a half, and asked for a refund. They did a decent job remodelling and the rooms look good for the price, but the TV didnt work and the toliet didnt flush.

Not as bad as previous reviews. Stayed one night, flat 80. Other places in town much higher priced. Room was clean, efficient. Gave it three stars because it met my basic requirements.

This is by far the worst experience at a hotel anywhere. We were regular visitors to Holland until staying at this Econo Lodge. Called to ask the front desk about help with transportation. The nasty front desk clerk started ranting that its not their job, upon hanging up they were harrassing us by calling and slamming at our door until we called the POLICE on them. They left us alone rest of the night. Letters to the manager Mr. Patel brought a pathetic apology. By corporate and Hollands Better Business Bureau response they didnt care either.

I stayed here for a few months and someone end up breaking into my room and stole all my money and they wouldnt do a thing to help out to retrieve it..

The motel is old and not well maintained. Our room was very dirty (we mopped the floor ourselves). It is in a convenient location.

Very dirty hotel. The lobby hadnt had the floors swept or mopped in a long time. The floors and walls in the room were just as bad. We had clean sheets, that was about the only thing though.

My boyfriend works within view of this motel, and he said the crime rate is WAY high. He sees cops there on a daily basis because of illegal activity. I stayed there a year ago it was the most creepy, dirty, and awful motel around. Makes Holland look bad.

Very dirty place and we demanded to change rooms 3 times..there was shady dirty looking people hanging out side ..The staff wasnt very welcoming and their appearance were dirty and slobby... The staff needs a 101class on friendliness/cleanliness!!!!

Well....I had high hopes that this hotel would work out for me cuz I needed to save some money on the weekly rate....dispite all of the horrendous reviews and nay-say from the locals around town...I went to the front desk and inquired....I specifically asked if they had any xug problems and was told no.....I asked a second and third time about xoaches..xleas..bed buds...continually reassured there was no problems.....my pictures show differently.(since removed)......I believe the owner/manager specifically instructs it employees to lxe to you....I am the LAST guy to leave a neg review for any business....I am doing so to prod the owners to do something about the xoaches.....if they could or would address that issue they would have a nice property.....so why not do it?

..MUST READ BEFORE YOU STAY AT THIS PLACE ..............ONLY REASON I GAVE 1 STAR IS BECAUSE I HAD TO TA LEAVE MY COMMENT ........This place is a dump needs to be condemned....roof leaks sign says 4 HBO channels we got one plus 4 other channels ...bed bugs roaches ....meth heads every where u turn ....my wife and I left to get a pop around 5 in morning and are key wouldnt work to get us back in are room so we went to front desk and the owner wouldnt give us a new key because the room wasnt in are name so we had to go bang on the door for 30 minutes until we woke someone up inside to let us in........during are stay they had the state come to do a inspection and they went room to room checking what they had to so called fix to pass ....worse place to stay in Holland it needs to be torn down unfortunately we are not rich and have no choice but to stay ....we had to buy are own roach killer and are own bed bug bombs because the owner is to cheap to do so ....the cable has a warning comeOn almost daily that says must pay or ur service will be canceled ....which means he must pay the bare minimum every day to avoid interruption if u need a microwave its out side under the stairs and let me tell u I would rather starve then heat something up inside that thing the nastiest thing Ive ever seen in my life. ......things to bring if u do decide to stay ...toilet paper cause u aint getting theres....a vaccume cause out side is cleaner then the floors inside sheets cause there are full of burn holes and what I can only imagine is blood stains and bed bug feciess......there is a really nice lady that works the front desk and if she is there she will help u how ever she can but they work her so hard that ya feel bad to ask for anything.....if u have the money to stay else where I would do so ...if its nice out side id rather stay at one the local camp grounds ....one of the days we woke up to a sign on ever door saying if u call the police u will be evicted with out a refund ...so if u do stay pray u dont get robed by a meth head cause if u call the police u will be thrown out.....honestly if they pass this state inspection that is coming up id say that the state needs to do a better job on what they call fit for living conditions .....i love Michigan but dont no how this place can possible stay open.....

If u could give this place no stars it wld b better there was water and a generous breeze coming in thru tha window the hot water works when it feels like it and I found a cockroach crawling up our bedside table when I brought this to the attention of the staff I was told they were keeping $75 of my $250 I had paid for tha week and they were kicking me out because I was looking for things wrong w their rooms and told they didnt need my business I got screamed at until I cried and treated very rudely I went to wooden shoe and they were willing to help me with a room w tha remaining $ but had wooden shoe not offered to help economy inn would have put us out in a blizzard simply for asking if they had another room available and in reality it was because I was a woman because when my boyfriend went to get our $ back he sure didnt scream at him they jst need better staff and it wld b descent for the price

It is my second day here in Michigan and requested a wakeup call for 5 am to go to work on my time and a half day they dont give me one and miss work the place smelled so badly I went and bought cleaning supply S TO clean my room ,they dont empty trash or provide clean towels .I paid 325.00 for this room for a weekYOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD TRY TO DO BETTER .THERE ARE SIGNS POSTED EVERYWHERE BY THEM THREATING TO EVICT WITHOUT REFUND.THE TV SHOWS WARNING PAY DISH WITHIN 48HR OR SERVICE DISCONNECT YOU CANT EVEN WATCH ONE SHOW. MY ADVICE TO THE OWNERS IS TAKE CARE OF YOUR BUILDING AND CUSTOMERS WILL TAKE CARE OF IT TOO .THERE WILL BE NO REASON TO POST SIGNS THREATING EVICTION.
