Had the privilege to check out this cute gem! GREAT atmosphere! Very attentive, and their drinks are hands down the best!Bre and Dylan were absolutely the best! Their talent behind the bar is top notch!If you’re looking for a place to unwind and hear some great music, and enjoy some amazing cocktails, this is the place to go!

I don’t know about the food, but it sure does look delicioso. The drinks- Pretty Darn Nice. The atmosphere- pretty darn nice. You come here when you want to get good drinks and people watch. Inside the Wakiki Resort it’s a convenient quaint place to relax. Elise, Dylan and Laynie really know how to take care of you. You won’t leave here disappointed. Scout’s Honour. This place is a spot you should come back to.

Chuck and Molly were amazing. Chuck makes really great drinks. I hate asking bartenders for suggestions , but Chuck was more than happy to suggest me a drink and it was delicious, honestly my favorite (red drink) ! Molly is great. She made my boyfriend and I feel extremely welcomed. If I lived on the island, this would be my forever bar. And um, they shared their cashews with us. Top tier !

Great bar, awesome cocktails.We went for a girls night out, and we had tons of fun.The cocktails were delicious, the music was fun and we had a great experience.Personnel was extra nice and advised us what to drink based on our likes.I will definitely come back, and 100% would recommend it.

Really cool bar centrally located in Waikiki. Had a couple different drinks here and all were solid, favorite of them all was the Mai Tai. Its smoked and served in a chest, drink actually has a smokey flavor. Everyone was really nice and waitress was great, very attentive. The night we went there was a DJ but other nights they do have live music

This hidden gem is the best bar in Waikiki. Dj Esco was fantastic. If you go there you have to try Starbust Sour! Is DELICIOUS!

Big shout out to Kenyon and Dylan Surf Bar , once again I found myself in this tucked away hidden Jen in The heart of Honolulu, I fly weekly to HNL and get in late and they always welcome myself and my crew with delicious food at midnight and flowing hand crafted cocktails and beers on tap . The vibe here is just amazing and the velvet couches and tucked in little corners for conversation make it a beautiful last stop in Waikiki. I only hesitate to share this for one reason .. I love that it’s still a secret and still peaceful and classy . Great job to the servers and mixologists at Surf bar ❤️

Sat there waiting patiently to order while the blonde bartender kept talking with her friends. Finally got to order (and she wasn’t even friendly, seemed annoyed/bothered having to do her job), but then never got my drink as the bartender went back to talking to her friends. I kept waiting and was like, am I missing something?? But get this. She gave me a bill right away, just no drink. I ended up having to leave after getting absolutely no drink/service because I didn’t know what else to do because she obviously didn’t care and I wasn’t going to get a drink (yet they tried to give me a bill - they want to steal money for doing absolutely nothing🤔). There’s chill vibe of the island, then there’s horrible service, this was the latter by far. Horrible horrible bartender. Worst experience I’ve had so far in this area. So many more chill, friendly vibes where you actually get service and kind/genuine hospitality.

Small intimate bar nestled inside of Waikiki Resort. Trendy, modern, and clean aesthetics with good liquor selection and well made cocktails. Went there for taco Tuesday and found a guest popup Mexican restaurant inside (@MiCasa_Hawaii)! Hopefully they come back! Great place to relax with your favorite people while enjoying a few refreshing drinks!

This place is amazing! A hidden gem. the drinks give speakeasy vibes which is awesome and the bartenders I had were amazing!! Dylan and Bre were so great, they work almost every day so ask for them and take care of them!! They a masters behind the bar, and were so great! We went in a little “earlier” in the night and there was live music which was fantastic but as the night went on it got busier but not in a bad way! Definitely check it out.

Boring and overpriced. We walked into the small bar and could immediately hear the loud music, see people not drinking, and not talking to each other but just sitting looking at their phones. We sat at the bar and looked at the menu. The drinks were marked up a lot higher than everywhere else weve been to. After a few minutes, we didnt feel a welcoming vibe, so we left. The place around the corner was awesome 👍

I loved this bar!!! chuck and dylan took such amazing care of us every time we went there during our trip. they constantly made sure we were doing well and asked if we needed anything. the owner is very nice as well! the drinks were great, atmosphere is so nice, and great music. will definitely be back when we’re in town!

Discovered this place a few months ago after getting one of their Groupon and it has quickly become my favorite spot to hang out in Waikiki. Drinks are delicious, service is amazing and the vibes is great. Once you walk in, youll forget you walk in through a hotel lobby as the bar is kind of tucked away.Fun place to hang out with a group and chill. Come and ask for Maddie! She is our go to server and takes care of us every weekend.

Went here Memorial Day weekend and had the absolute BEST time. Coolest atmosphere and bomb drinks. The staff was very welcoming and told us all about their menu and recommendations, they even told us about things to do nearby and in the area! Such a cool place will ABSOLUTELY be returning with friends!!!!

So overpriced and mediocre. While the vibe is cool, it’s empty, the drink menu looks good but very overpriced and nothing special when they come out. Holiday Affogato came with a tiny broken fork and no spoon. The mule was mostly ice cubes and crazy pricey for being so basic.One waitress was super sweet but we got stuck with a super rude and disinterested male waiter.Wish we had held out for the Christmas bar, at least we know the drinks are good and it’s fun.

Put Bre’s blueberry cocktail and Elise’s mezcal drink on the menu. Amazing.

We visited Surf Bar twice on our visit to Oahu! Chuck and Elise were such kind people. They took great care of us, told us local recommendations, and shared their lives with us.The menu drinks are fabulous, but Chuck made us a couple of off-menu drinks based on our preferences. The prices are high, but the quality of ingredients, presentation, taste, and customization make the cocktails absolutely worth it. We came on a Monday the last time and enjoyed some great live music as well. Do yourself a favor and come by Surf Bar! It’s a can’t miss location for all cocktail fans.

I come to surfbar all the time! the cocktails are great, I especially love the peles curse, golden hour, and their espresso martini is fantastic. The whole staff is terrific, the boys are great conversationalists and the girls are sweet as can be. Sam, Sadie, Elise, Chuck and Dylan, love them all!

Came here for drinks after dinner & absolutely loved it! It doesnt look like much from the outside but you have to go inside! Lots of seating, great vibes, and really nice decor. Dylan helped us all night & provided phenomenal service and great drinks! Were not in Oahu for long but you can bet well be back tomorrow!!

Found this bar while browsing google reviews and glad we came looking for it. On the walk over we were surprised there was no signage or anything alerting others to their presence, and even had to be directed from hotel employees to the doorway near the lobby. None the less, bar has an amazing aura of a high class cocktail vibe with a friendly and skilled bar tender named Sam - probably short for Samantha. I had the “basil breeze” at the suggestion of Sam and my bf had their house old fashioned. My drink was what I was looking for - fresh, fruity, tangy, flavorful, and not too sweet. My picky bf loved his drink too - also not too sweet and all the signatures of a phenomenal craft cocktail. My bf also had a local IPA he also loved. Bar is quaint, dim lighting, great decorations and seating area, and an absolutely perfect pre or post dinner place to enjoy company and a good cocktail or local beer. They also have live music and themed nights throughout the week. Highly recommend you go on the hunt for this gem and have a great start or end to your night.

This place is my favorite place ever, I love the pumpkin spice espresso martini. Elise is the best server I’ve ever had, & chuck makes yummy drinks. I really only come here for Elise and chuck.

My partner and I got there near 6 to have cocktails before our next outing. Each cocktail was unique and delicious. I love the cozy, chic vibe. Our server couldnt have been nicer and as a bonus took lots of pictures for us. Drinks are on the expensive side, but are made with quality ingredients and are served beautifully. Worth a splurge.

I will not be going back again.First of all I didnt feel welcome. The best seats are for Bar Friends thats what the server told us 🤔, really ? I was taking my dad out for a drink and I wanted him to feel comfortable.On an empty bar we couldnt get the seat of our choice?

Abby was an awesome host! She was super attentive and timely. The smoky mai tai was very classy (and strong). The Maui Lavandula was nice and smooth in my opinion, for a girl that doesn’t drink too much cocktails. Vibe is super chill on a Thursday and nice to just sit back and enjoy a cocktail.There is a bathroom right outside the bar door; needs a key from the bartender, but super clean.10/10 would come back again!

Sam, Sadie, & Robbie were excellent bartenders. The vibe was comfortable with good music. The bartenders talked with us and made the environment fun. Smaller place but it’s what we wanted. I’d recommend with a group of 2-5 😄

The first night on Saturday we walked in early. Greeted by a nice bar tender from California that was just 10 outta 10. He was great to talk to. He made the best drinks for us and it was a great time. I got a riptide and that is now my main drink. He made them so pro i loved it .

I was walking past the bar to use the hotel restroom when I heard an angelic voice coming from the Surf Bar. The singer ended up being Robbie Kelly, lead singer of the band Twin Fin. The music was incredible and his music was inviting and soothing. The bar has great vibes, neon lights and a lush tropical vibe. Highly recommend!

Easily the best cocktail of my trip to Hawaii. Nestled innocently in the hotel lobby, come get transported through bomb cocktails and neon lights. Bring the main squeeze and have a good time.

Great vibe. Intermittent service. Friendly, but table service spotty. With a small bar, a bartender and a server, and it’s not crowded there should be no issue with service. Great beer pours and the mai tai was nice. There will be sounds.

The bar had such a cool vibe and the drinks were great and I would love to come back, but it has an overwhelming smell of mildew and urine that we just couldn’t get over.

We came in looking for an espresso martini, but decaf. Javi the bartender created a delicious unique coffee-flavored cocktail that hit the spot! Would definitely recommend. Also, be sure to try the Smoked Mai Tai.

One of my favorite places to spend Monday night. Elise, Chuck, and Candice made some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Their attention to detail and great conversation made for such a great night. Live music by Connor Johnson was an absolute treat. I highly recommend this gem if you stumble upon it.

So Ive been on Oahu for 4 days now and Ive had a Mai Tai in my hand every second of the trip. Surf Bar Waikiki has the best, hands down. Not only is it presented in a unique way for fanfare, but the balance of juices and rum choices are fantastic!

So this is a tough one, because it is such a cool place not sure I want to let the secret out. However, it is such a cool place everyone should come here and have some delicious libations.The atmosphere is very chic they have live music or a DJ on a regular basis. The cocktails are definitely worth a trip. Highly recommend the maunakea Mai tai.Finally the service is spot on Chuck and Talia made amazing recommendations and backed it up with very well balanced cocktails. My water glass never went empty and they were prompt to check up on me if I needed another delicious libation. Highly recommend making a stop to the Surf Bar

My beautiful girlfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary and molly and chuck were nothing but great to us. Amazing drinks, service and overall the ambience was superb! Great people, give them some recognition! Next time we’re in Waikiki we’re coming here!!

Chuck was an amazing mixologist. We ordered cocktails from the menu and also off the menu and they were sensational. The music had had a fantastic vibe and the atmos of the bar was cool.

We hosted an after party following our wedding, where the music had to shut off for 9:00pm. We were very happy with our choice of venue for our after party, which went from about 10:00pm until closing at 2:00am. The staff offered to make us drink tickets, as we wanted to pay for each person’s first two drinks. The drinks were exceptional and the service was excellent. The staff also allowed us to bring in pizza for our wedding guests and have our wedding playlist play through the sound system. There was the perfect-sized area for dancing. We would 10/10 recommend that anyone who is looking for an after-party spot for their wedding reception, to talk to Surf Bar Waikiki.

Dylan, Chuck, Molly and crew provide the best bar experience we’ve had in our four plus years living in Waikiki. They are personable, educated and professional. True masters of their craft both in regards to the delicious cocktails they serve and the overall guest experience. Surfbar is an absolute gem! It’s up and coming, the next hot spot in Waikiki! Did I mention live music and DJ’s? I just did. GO!

Wow, one of the best bartenders I have ever encountered. Mike was knowledgeable and friendly. My friend was so impressed with the drink they made we came back and then I got an IPA. The bartender had a little trick of adding some passion fruit to it. Yum. Only had fries so cannot comment on food.Great drinks - phenomenal service!

Always a great time! Chuck has always shown hospitality to me. I used to patron this place often. However, my business has taken me out of Waikiki. 10/10 I coming back. I always do when I’m in the area.

Came to see Robbie from twin fin & it was amazing! I’ve never been to this bar before and I’m so glad I went. The decor was so well put together and vibes are very speakeasy like. The drink were very yummy. Definitely coming back

Elise and Chuck, we’re so amazing. Elise was very attentive and kind. Chuck made some amazing drinks, I had the riptide and my boyfriend had a Hennessy side car, very high quality and tasty. The vibe is so cute too, very IG worthy. Would definitely recommend and come back to this place!

Amazing little speakeasy bar hidden in the back of an open air hotel lobby. Pretty packed even on a Thursday night. Dylan was a great bartender and even made me an off-the-menu cocktail that was great!

Surf bar has such a fun environment! Live DJ and great drinks! Highly recommend the golden hour(a drink on the menu) Sam was our bartender and made a great cocktail.

Sam and Chuck were absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable about their craft. They made delicious drinks on and off the menu and they were consistently good, each of the same drink tasted exactly the same as the other.

First time here and we loved it! Elise and Sam were our bartenders and attentive throughout the night. The drinks are beautiful and we enjoyed the presentation of the mai tai. This was a chill bar with comfy seating. Would come here again if looking for a more relaxed vibe or a quick drink before a fun night out.

Chuck was an absolute amazing bartender. We told him to surprise us with a shot and he hit it on the spot. Not only that, he knows his customers because he remembered me and my preference and I came here about a month ago. He goes by Chuck but his name is Charles on receipt. Come see Sam and Chuck, she is a real live yellow page(idk if you know what yellow page is) but yes good vibe amazing cocktails. Music is DJ is hit or miss but if you like Chris Brown I am highly recommend .

Chill Sunday. Good live music, DJ set, and music at breaks.. Did not eat. Good cocktail selection. Elise was great to work with on the cocktail menu.

Sam and Dylan were very friendly and recommended some great drinks to try. It is very calm and relaxing to come and enjoy a drink after the beach.

If you are looking for elevated cocktails you have to stop here. Genuine service, creative cocktails and twists on old school recipes- try the Mezcal Mai Tai! A true gem here. Local feel and the love you get from everyone is true. Thank you Dylan for the best drinks and conversation- can’t say enough how special the time at your bar was- thank you, Sam for the inspiration to keep chasing cool crazy dreams (sharks) and Saddie for you flavors- pushing the limits and creating a cocktail menu that is superior to any place in Wakakiki. Chuck and Elise were fantastic bartenders! The charcuterie board and drinks were wonderful. Parking is in the lot next door and is validated. Musicians - Rhiana, Savannah and the Turkish Mana - were FANTASTIC! 10/10 will be back :)

Music was 🔥 🔥 🔥 loved the atmosphere, came on a Tuesday. It was super chill, but we still had a really good time just fighting with the good drinks and great music. I hate this place because I don’t want to leave.😭

Im sorry to have to put 1 star. The service and bar was very nice. Went on a Groupon and wanted to try something new. Check your bills waitress tried to over charge us by 66.00 we bought it up to her and she said it was correct. We asked to see the bill itemized with which she then came back and said she was sorry but the register must have made a mistake. No mistake on the registers part. Still let a tip which she did not deserve but up until she tried to scam us we were having a nice time. How many other people have they done that too. If you dont want groupons then dont offer them.

The charcoochie is like a french dream. This place is a hidden gem with the best craft cocktails and best service in town. good music, good vibes, and truly the best place to hang with friends away from all of waikikis business- but still in the heart of it all. try the maui lavendula… it’s like rolling through a flower feild with kittens and rainbows.

When a group of us arrived the lady at the bar realised we were not from America and greeted us by saying that in America its customary to tip as if taking advantage of us thinking wed bend over and hand out all we had. We are students with hardly any money as it is and she gave us this speech before any service was given. Was a little surprised by this.Anyway after a few drinks one of bar ladies actually said If you dont start tipping were going to kick you out we were literally the lifeblood of the place that night. If the owner sees this it was the 23rd March 2023 if you want to have words with the staff. Only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is because the dj was decent.

This bar is inside the hotel. The service is prompt and friendly, cocktails are diverse and inventive, the DJ provided an upbeat vibe for a Wednesday night, and the space was very well curated, which was my favorite aspect of this bar.
