All the staff were cool, the security was friendly and great for some chats, the music was epic. Great sound set up too. My wife and I loved the place. I would make this a stop if you are out and want to actually dance and have fun. We didn’t eat here but if the food is anything like the rest of the place I wish we did. Thanks for great service and making us feel welcome when we were visiting.
After you pay and get your stamp you cannot leave the bar or you have wait in line again…. (What is the point of the stamp ?? They should have a re-entry line or something. We just left) 20$ per head to get in and we left to guide our friends to the correct place because they were visiting from out of town and when we got back we couldn’t re-enter. Won’t be going back. Sucky policy.

Favorite bar on island. Love the atmosphere and themed nights. They do not have food but The Other Side across the street has.
The entrance fee was 20$ per person, we went here on May 4th. There’s only one private section. Overall, the atmosphere is mid the age group is 21-35. I also went here with my gf, she also agrees that it’s mid.
We saw HelloGoodbye last night. He’s a great live performer. But the staff was actually awesome. They seemed to work in harmony and one of the sound techs noticed I was holding my ears shut and gave me some ear protection. (I have sensory issues so it really helped and I was able to enjoy the show.) I would definitely come back.
Love Nextdoor the absolute best place to hit up. The door girl is so sweet and cute. Only place in Chinatown with a father son team at the door they are the best and the hottest. Any mother daughter duos come roll through its worth it!! Great bartenders and music. Im still turned on from them. Go check them out!!
Trash. Drinks are watered down. DJ’s are wack. Bartenders only tend to women. Don’t waste your time. Better off going literally‘Next door’ to Bar 35 or the manifest.
Back when I was the singer of the great grind core band, YUH, we performed at Next Door and it was a fantastic experience. I have been a professional touring musician for the passed 18 years, braddah, and I have been all over the Globe doing plenty of Mainland Shows and NextDoor was one of the most pleasant and enjoyable venues I have ever performed at. If you are a musician worth your salt in Hawaii then make sure you pay respects to this fine venue should you be booked here. Much love and respect to High Fives and Stage Dives for doing a great job promoting our show when it happened in February of 2022. It was an honor to grace the stage of Next Door and hope to do it again some day down the line. Respect.
Great place for Music like Warsaw Poland Bros.
Came to this cool spot for an acoustic show and had a great time! The bar was stocked and drinks were delicious, not too pricey either ($25 for 3 drinks). The ambiance and vibe was great with all covid restrictions being followed.
Went out to this place last night (friday). Place had great vibes and people.Staff was friendly and the owner was super accomodating, everyone goes out of their way to make sure youre having a good time.Totally recommend this place if youre looking for a fun night.
One of the better clubs in Chinatown. It usually isnt too hard to get in, but you can still expect a decent crowd inside. There are couches around the perimeter for when you need a break from dancing. The music is usually great at moving the crowd. Bartenders are quick and attentive. One of the best parts, is on slow nights, the bar may allow you to use the basketball and shoot some hoops on the rim thats bolted to the wall inside!
Came out of town by myself to some random local bands. Bouncer and band member were super nice, very conversational. It is a little loud, to be expected.
They had a show that ended at 12:30 yet they will still charge you full price if you show up afterward. The drink prices are posted, and the bartender made the drink (worth $9) and said it was $10. She then threw a dollar in the tip jar, so don’t be swindled by this place. There are places much more enjoyable near here though.
Bouncer was filming a women with alcohol poisoning on the street. Very disrespectful. This is hawaii take your opala elsewhere. Treat others like you’d like to be treated.
Chill vibes and amazing bartenders. No cover and cheap drinks. No minimum card charge either, probably the best bar in Chinatown.
Attended a burlesque show here, a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood. Drinks were on the pricey side, but some proceeds went to PP at least. Loud and crowded between burlesque segments, but an overall fun night for a good cause.
If you love underground dance music, indie bands and hip hop, and just having a good time, this is one of the best spots in Honolulu. They frequently bring in local and international bands and DJs to perform on their intimate stage to a small crowd. Its right along the main drag in Chinatown, so its easy to hop around to some other favorite spots in the area in between bands or if things are a little slow. Look out for nights when DJ Ikon is spinning.
They were still serving with a smile when all others were closed!Good service. Food was excellent and huge portions! I highly recommend this to the late night cruzas!
Dj doesnt want to take the request, and cocktails are expensive and not worth it!!!
Attended the Aloha Comedy Festival here in February and the shows, staff and comedians were all top-shelf. Will definitely go back to the Aloha Comedy Festival next year.
Do not come here if you are a person of color they do not care about your well being. We were attacked and they kicked us out.
Best bartenders ever I love this place so much!!!!
A fantastic venue for live music and shows! The bartenders and wait staff were fantastic!
This is the best bar in China Town! Great Venue, amazing atmosphere!
Bartenders are DRY!! My goodness, crack a smile!
The heartbeat of Honolulu. The best!
Always a great venue for music and special events
One of Hawaii’s premier concert venues.
Saw some of my favorite artists perform here over the last decade.
