May was great. My wife and I got the 90-minute couples massage with Tiger Balm. Building was a little confusing to get into, but that atmosphere and vibe were great. Would go again 🫠🤙

Lily gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. She’s strong and really got in there to work out some knots!I also added a body scrub which I would recommend - I’m super soft now.This location is unassuming and not particularly fancy but Lily is really lovely and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a terrific massage without all the bells and whistles.

My partner and I had a couple massage. This was our celebration of our anniversary and we could not have picked a better experience. Lily and Dana did an amazing job both with our massage and their kind nature. Their accommodation to our needs wants were more than met. We hope to return someday on our visit back to Hawaii. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Li Li. It was AMAZING - possibly the best massage I’ve had. I appreciated the little details that she paid attention to, like covering my hair so as not to get lots of massage oil in it. She found my trigger points and knots and really focused on the areas that have been bothering me. I added cupping, which I’ve never done before - totally worth it. It wasn’t painful, just a very different sensation - pain relieving for my back! I travel to Waikiki fairly often for work and I plan on returning to Smile Massage each time I’m here!

Don’t be put off by the location - it’s well worth the trip outside of Waikiki proper! I highly recommend Lili for a deep tissue massage. She was very intuitive and loosened up my tense neck and shoulders without me having to specifically ask for it. Very professional and detailed communication from the time of booking. Highly recommend!

My son and I visited in March and wanted much needed massages after surfing everyday and walking to Diamond Head. We are so glad we found this little gem of a place and the staff were so nice. I get a lot of massages and this was the best ever. Its important for the massage therapist to be able to read the customers body response to pressure and to soften and well as be more firm at times and I felt completely taken care of! We will be back over 4th of July coming up and cant wait!

I recently moved to the Kapahulu area and found Smile as my local massage place. Ive been twice and loved my experiences both times. The first time, I had a 4-hands massage, which is the first time Ive ever had that sort of massage. It was a novel experience and I really loved it. My second time I got a 1-hour Swedish massage and left feeling so relaxed and calm. I hightly recommend Smile Massage & Spa.

The staff was nice but it was weird being in an apartment in a subpar part of town. I didnt have much time so I dropped in for a 30 minute. It was a nice basic massage But Ive had better. Good if youre close by and youre hurting from too much walking. I think its cheaper than others in the area.

I visited Smile Massage for the first time. I have had many massages because I exercise a lot. The sports massage I had was world class - one of the best I ever had. Smile Massage saved the day! I was at the Ala Wai golf range when I pulled my shoulder and upper back. I was in so much pain. I desperately searched for a nearby massage and found Smile Massage. Lily was able to squeeze me in, in-between appointments, and provided me with the best massage EVER! She used complimentary hot stones and Tiger balm; I think because I was a first timer. In an hour, I left feeling so much better. Lily skillfully, patiently, and with strong hands worked out the pain and knots in my back where it hurt. I booked my massage through Classpass and was not sure what to expect. My massage was one hour with Julie was my massage therapist. Julie was personable, friendly and talked me through which areas of my body were tight and needed more attention. She shared that deep tissue was an additional cost. Had I not opted for the additional Chinese cupping I would have added that on. It was my first experience with cupping and found it relaxing.I would recommend and would go again.See my photo for prices as of July 2022.

I went here last minute while visiting my sister on the island because I was experiencing migraines and having a lot of neck pain after traveling. They recommended a four hand massage and both ladies were incredible. Extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I walked away feeling so much better!!! Highly recommend as a must if you are looking for a massage in the area. I couldn’t speak more highly of the experience and the masseuses!

I had such an amazing experience at Smile Massage and Spa! I was greeted by Christie with her beautiful smile and charismatic energy! I so appreciated her cheerful, wild, authentic nature! I stuck with the roughness knowing I probably needed it. My husband who weighs double me and is a foot taller got the smaller lady. I wish the stronger one I got had switched and did my husbands massage. This place is fairly easy to find, follow the GPS. I found this business on living social, when I text the number to book an appt she said she would match the price of the living social offer. (I happily obliged since they only get a portion when the offers are purchased through a 3rd party) I recommend this place for a massage.

I have lived in the area for 9 years and have gotten multiple massages at other places, but this one was by far the best. I really enjoyed my massage here! Dont let the set up fool you, I was a little worried when I drove up. But they remodeled an apartment into a spa, and its actually VERY nice inside! Prices are extremely reasonable, and they have a variety of services. Lilly was amazing, she was able to find my sore spots easily and spent more time there. Wouldn’t go again. In a small apartment in a sketchy building. Felt dirty. Sheets are old and don’t feel or look clean. Massage was not good either. Too superficial. Didn’t focus on knots or do actually make a difference. Nice ladies but that’s it. Definitely do not recommend.

I had gotten the happily ever after package deal and I can honestly say 100% recommended especially if you need to relax and focus on your self! I had Christie do my massage and facial and I can honestly feel like a whole new person. My friend got a better massage therapist lily. She asked my friends what’s her focus and did great while the other girl Kelley was terrible. She didn’t even ask me my focus or level of hardness. She just went in there full force. Then she commented I’m sensitive and all. She only massaged one side of my body and kept using her phone. Never coming back to this place.I’m only giving 2 stars because my friends masseuse was good.

Such an amazing experience!!! Christie and Yuli were the best, my mother and I came to get a massage and wow best massage I’ve had ever. They made me and my mother feel very comfortable. We did the 50 minutes full body massage and the lip mask. So relaxing and got my back cracked also. They are super nice and funny. I had the pleasure of getting a deep tissue massage by Christie, a masseuse who clearly has been in the practice for a while. Christie knew a lot about the body, muscles, pressure points, and gave one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. The pricing was also extremely reasonable for the quality of the massage. I would absolutely recommend this spa and more specifically, Christie.

I’ve been coming to this spot for about a year now, to get my back/neck fixed — along with all the muscle soreness from working out. these ladies do an AMAZING job. firm hands, attentive to your needs, hit the right spots with a mix of techniques. you can tell they know what they’re doing. I just got a 60 min deep tissue massage right now, from the hands of Bella, and hear me out, my pain was BAD. she fixed me head to toe. I feel brand new, hands down.their prices are fair too, especially for the quality of what you get.I definitely recommend this place!mahalo nui ladies!!! 🙏🏽

Great massage. The problem started after. Booked a couples massage for $130. They discouraged credit card payment, but we didnt have enough cash. So we were paying half cash half credit card. They immediately upped the price to 70 each. We decided to tip 10 bucks each on top of it. They said that wasnt enough and asked for more. It was very uncomfortable. Here for 3 weeks and were really looking forward to doing this weekly. Will now look elsewhere. Too bad, left a really bad aftertaste, following a fantastic massage.

Lily was very attentive and could tell my shoulders and neck were tight and she really worked out the knots with a combo of hands, elbows, forearms, and knees. Lilly was my masseuse and she was fantastic - very skillful, friendly and knowledgeable. The spa isnt obvious from the street but Christie who made my appointment was incredibly friendly and helpful in providing clear and easy directions. Not big or fancy but clean, nice and priced very reasonably for the quality they provide.

Had 2 massages in one week first one was great. The masseuse was very professional, and everything was awesome and I was going to give five stars rating and until I had my second massage. I called to schedule the second massage session with the same resource and I double checked with them. I want to see masseuse. I gave them the name they said yes she’s available on the request of time. when I arrived. I was surprised to see another masseuse and she said oh no the people who made the booking they don’t know who’s available so I did not wanna do the massage because I did not want to try another masseuse and I was really looking for the first one. The masseuse called the other masseuse that I requested and she said I’m sorry I’m not available and this one is also great with a lot of experience so they convinced me to go ahead and do the massage with her. from there everything was bad. The massage was very rough. She even hurt my neck with her nails. Also hurt my shoulder when tried to pop my neck before relaxing the muscle. The AC was on and very close to the massage table and I was freezing. Everything was bad and she wasn’t professional I will never go back again.

The whole staff is amazing. They are very kind and very helpful. The staff was very communicative with any questions we had. Mark was my message therapist and did a wonderful job. All four of us enjoyed each message therapist that worked on us.

I’ve had many deep tissue massages and this one from Christie has to be among the better ones I’ve had. Christie made sure the pressure was just right for me, and was attentive to my request for either more or less pressure. The place was clean, nicely set up and easy to access from the Waikiki strip, but not at Waikiki tourist prices which was even better. I would definitely recommend this place and Christie and plan to return for at least one more massage before heading back to Canada.

For the most part our experience at Smile Massage & Spa was perfect. There were 5 of us; one was pregnant, one was a first-timer, one had a bad sunburn and then my wife and I. All of us except my wife had a wonderful experience...just right pressure, the hot stone was excellent, the use of CBD and coconut oil was wonderful and they treated my pregnant daughter-in-law perfectly....she LOVED her massage. My wife came on a different day and were not sure what happened. We think there was some miscommunication or something. She wanted a relaxing Swedish massage with medium to low pressure but what she received was a roughing up. The therapist punched her three times in three different locations and it did not feel like an accepted practice we know of (weve had several massages before) and these punches left bruises. The therapist jumped up on the table and straddled my wife and then started working on her. Weve never had that happen before either. The therapist was rough and my wife has several bruises now as a result. Not sure what happened. She was also not very sociaable...not sure if she was having a bad day or not...but punching and straddling the way she did does not seem good therapy. This is the only negative experience we had. My therapist (Christine) was perfect, funny, sociable and knowledgeable. Thanks Christine. My son also enjoyed your work (he had a bad sunburn). I would go again if I ever return to Hawaii. Advice: communicate exactly what you want before you start and be clear on what you want and dont be afraid to ask your therapist to change their approach if its not satisfactory.

Smile massage is a hidden gem. I got a massage from Julie with the added cupping, I felt so relaxed coming out after that 90 minutes. They accept walk ins, and every time I call they’re available! I’m going back again and am happy to have found my new massage spot.

They literally saved my vacation! My TMJ jaw joint disease has ramped up my neck tension to the point the pain was affecting my ability to function, despite pulling all my usual tricks. They were able to get me an appointment and in 30 mins I went from like 8/10 pain to 3/10. Excellent strong deep tissue massage, amazingly soothing hot stones, super kind and friendly staff. I felt so much better after I could cry from relief! 10/10. And like others said, dont let the potentially unusual apt as a spa thing throw you off or youll be sorry to miss out haha (they also send incredibly specific and super helpful instructions for how to find them.)

On the spur of the moment I decided to book a massage session at Smile Massage. I selected this place because it was close to my home. When I called, the person I spoke with was very professional and pleasant.It was around noon when I called and I had asked for a same day appointment and she offered me 1pm or 6pm. Then she discussed something with someone in the background, then came back and asked if I can come now. So after a quick shower I headed over.The business is in what appears to be formerly an apartment. It looks like the building owner converted the whole second floor from living apartments to businesses. The business appeared to be very neat and clean, with a very relaxed atmosphere. There were no other customers in the reception area, and two employees.The masseuse that tended to me was Chris (I think that is her name). She was very friendly and funny. I was not in the bit apprehensive as I have had massages before, but I think her candor would put anyone at ease. After showing me their menu she asked if I would like any add-ons. I got a 1 hour massage and a face cleansing add-on. The prices are pretty reasonable. It was a total of $100 (70+30) plus tax.I had strained my shoulder and neck area earlier in the week during an exercise session and had been aching for a few days, I couldnt turn my head toward one side without some pain. My shoulders and upper back were feeling the consequences of that and were also tensed up. So I had hoped a nice massage would relieve my discomfort, and it did.The massage room itself was one of the bedrooms of the apartment, it was clean, comfortable and a/c cooled, but not chilly. When she started the session, I could tell that it was going to be just what I needed. She used her hands, arms, elbows and knuckles and got all the kinks out of my back and shoulders. There was even one point where she used hot stones in the massage on my back. I admit at some points the massage did hurt, but it was all worth it. The massage covered my neck, shoulders, back, legs, feet, arms and hands. She also cracked my upper back, and that was great!The face cleansing was also amazing. The products she used on my face were very light and refreshing. I think they were unscented, because I dont remember any strong perfumes in them. You can also purchase the products that she uses for your own use. I felt clean, refreshed and moisturized.Throughout the session Chris made occasional conversation that was not the usual massage conversation. It was very entertaining, and out of the normal relaxing silence that you have at most massage businesses. Of course they had music playing in the background that was very calming and mellow.When I left there, all the tension in my back, neck and shoulders was gone. My neck was still achy, but I could turn my head in both directions without any pain or restriction. I felt great, refreshed and relaxed.Smile Massage and Spa, highly recommended! I think I may go back at least once a month for maintenance.

My sister and I booked a couples massage for the first day of our Hawaiian vacation. It was AWESOME! One of the best massages Ive ever received, and Im a chiropractor so Im pretty picky about my massages. I asked for a deep tissue massage, and my massage therapist Yuli delivered (dont tell her to go hard unless you really mean it, because shes not messing around, lol). We had great banter with Yuli and Christie throughout the treatment and were able to have a laugh while also relaxing. I felt like melted butter by the end of it. I liked the stretches she did to me as well. I really felt like she opened up my shoulders and hips. I will definitely be booking a massage here again the next time Im in town.

Its definitely a hole in the wall in terms of location, but I called the evening before to book - and they texted me directions with photos, and even when I got lost, they came downstairs to get me. The room was clean and we were given rectangle bins/baskets to put our clothes in.Christie and Yuli were friendly and also VERY GOOD. When we came in, they asked what kind of massage we each wanted for our 60-minute couples massage - I was surprised that they seemed like they could do it all.I got a Combo massage of Swedish and Thai, and my husband got Deep Tissue - and it surprised him how strong Yuli was able to massage him (usually he needs the strongest pressure possible, but this time he asked for medium) 😅They were able to release all of our tensions in our bodies, they were engaging and made some fun conversation, and made sure that we were comfortable throughout the massage.The hot stones were very hot, but they reassured us it was good and wouldnt burn us - and it did feel good! Christie even focused more on massaging my head when I mentioned I liked head massages.Christie also gave me a free lip mask treatment made of beeswax and other natural ingredients, which was like a lip gloss / lipstick but didnt stain or come off easily. They sell it separately if you want it - and even though I didnt want to buy it, I didnt feel shamed 😇Price-wise, its good value given how good the massages were! If you like the gliding type of massages, this was one of the best.Highly recommend coming here when youre visiting Oahu!

I cannot believe tonights couples massage experience. we are new to the island and recently had a massage at Sakura about a month ago, we loved our couples massage and unfortunately they were booked tonight so we went ahead and decided to try a new place. Our massage experience was fantastic until it was time to pay. My husbands masseuse took the $135, then started speaking loud in Chinese to my masseuse. I asked if something was wrong and thats when everything went down hill! They said they worked overtime and wanted a 20 percent tip. They started say in the state of Hawaii all massages come along with a 20 percent tip. I said that is not true I have had a massage at another business and have never heard of that rule, we walked out and my husband masseuse block us at the elevator insisting a tip! This is so unprofessional and disturbing after receiving a treatment that is suppose to be therapeutic.

We had booked the couple massage and visited late night after 9. I have no doubt that they, the masseuses, are experienced. But, unlike the very beginning, they seemed to become tired and one of them dozed off a couple of times. Unfortunately, it made us disappointed and it was not the professionalism we had expected to see.

I’ve been several times, both with my boyfriend and my friend and it was amazing! I’ve tried the cupping as well as the deep tissue massage with CBD oil. Day to day, I spend a great deal of time sitting at a desk and they helped resolve a great deal of tension in my shoulders and lower back! 10/10 would recommend!

This place is run by two Chinese women who for the most part are professional in their art but are shady in the approach of enticing the client to purchase there full package massage. I thought I was going to get a full body relaxing stress relieving massage with deep tissue kneading. What I got was just that with what most would call a pressured happy ending. If you are looking for a legitimate first class massage then this is not the place you want to go. First and last time for me, never again!

Christie is a freaking miracle worker. I had an insane amount of muscle tightness and pain from over exerting my body. And Christie set my back and put my muscles back together. I highly suggest getting a 4 handed massage even for 30 min to an hour. As it will lift you to the heavens to the most extreme amount of bliss!

You have to get a massage here! It was one of the best Ive ever had (and Ive paid $400 for one before and it doesnt even come close). Christine opened up all the knots I had and cracked my neck and back and it all felt sooooo good.Definitely dont be put off by the location! It might seem a little sketch, but they are super clean, professional, and very friendly. They even text you pictures of the location and how to get buzzed in.

I walked to the building worried about the quality, but my siblings and I exited the elevator, the owner greeted us with open arms and a big smile you came!. The masseuse that took care of me and my brother was Yomi and Christie. They were strong, yet gentle as well as funny and a bit charming. The music is very peaceful and the window view is a gorgeous sunset overlooking the ocean. It was my first massage and I enjoyed it, my brother said that he gets deep tissue massages once a month and for what we paid for ($56+tip), this is as good as a $200 massage, if not better. If you are ever in Waikiki, definitely give this place a try.

Lucy & Christie provided a really excellent deep tissue massage for me and my partner. Most massage therapists, especially in touristic areas, dont really offer a proper deep tissue massage like this one. (If you dont feel like youve been beaten up a bit afterwards, the pressure probably wasnt enough to actually help.)The massage studio is in a mixed use building that is shared with a lot of other businesses; no big flashy sign out front. But once you get in, youll see its very professional and clean, and the therapists are highly skilled.If only we werent tourists... wed be back every week!

They are welcoming, loving and so funny! It’s a must go to when in Waikiki! And ladies try her lip mask and balm, trust me!

I have done a couples massage here twice from Lisa and lulu, they are amazing!!! Ive paid for several high end spas in the past and Id have to say this is one of the best massages Ive had. (I only wish there was a sauna and jacuzzi to relax in) If you book directly with smiles they will give you a better deal. Both times I booked last minute and had no issues getting in. I will definitely be going back.

I had an amazing massage from Yuli!!! I was extremely stressed and sore from working and was surprised that they were able to give me an appointment same day as calling. The place is extremely clean and the music, so calming. Yuli was such a joy and made me feel so comfortable. She worked my muscles incredibly well with CBD oil and felt all the tension & soreness alleviated. There is only 1 parking stall so try to find close by and walk. It’s SO WORTH IT!!!! This massage experience was INCREDIBLE!! My masseuse was Yuli, I asked for a deep tissue massage, splurged a tiny bit on the CBD oil, and she delivered in spades. Yuli was funny and friendly and professional and EXCELLENT at checking in with the amount of pressure she was using as well as informing me of what was coming next. I was laughing and moaning and the experience was exactly what I was looking for. She worked out knots that I didnt know I had, and knots that I knew about that had been developing and tightening for (almost certainly) years. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If youre on vacation, go early so that you can go again. If you live on Oahu, its worth the trip from anywhere on the island.

I came here for the first time today for a deep tissue massage and boy did they deliver. I rarely find a masseuse that can keep up consistently deep enough pressure to work out my knots, but Smile Massage delivered just that. They offer a complimentary lip treatment which does make your lips feel smooth but I was not told before hand it tints your lips pink from the cherry. Not that big a deal as it does fade pretty quickly but something for people to know before agreeing to the lip treatment. She said there is a non-tinted version they use on men so you could always ask for that one if you dont want the tint. Its not the fanciest atmosphere, but I care far more about the actual massage. Another note is that I was told they prefer texting to schedule appointments rather than calling. I will be back.
