Joining this school has been one of the best decision so have made in 2024! The instructor Tina is very knowledgeable and relates everything to everyday life. Mike the owner is also very personable and was a great help answering all my questions about their program. I look forward to coming to class and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me pursuing my massage therapy license.

My first time here, I came to see one of the students here.juan was an Angel 😇 he can really read your energy, what he need to focus on, he is very professional 👏 I felt his passion and care for what he does the whole time during the massage...The place is very nice and beautiful, felt at peace as I walked in.100 percent recommend, come see Juan.

I Started at American academy of massage class a couple of weeks ago and so far it’s been great! My professor Tina is wonderful I really enjoy the class. This school is very welcoming, and has great staff. Very clean and friendly. Overall very happy

I’m so glad the American Academy of Massage and Wellness moved into this location! For a while, it was vacant and I had to drive about 30 mins to the next closest massage school. They’re located in an office building off Richmond and there’s always plenty of parking in the back.The staff and students are always professional and friendly. I love their gift certificate packages, which is a super affordable deal if you dont want to break the bank. I went from getting massages once a month to 2-3 times a monthly. They also have a convenient portal online where you can look at availability and book your own massages, which is great for me who likes to do it on the day of.Be vocal and communicative about pressure and areas of focus to get the best experience from your massage. Remember they are students, so they are still learning and could benefit from as much direction and guidance that you can give them.

I called AAMW and that same day I got an appointment to go see the school and when I sat down and got told everything, I had no questions about joining this school because they have a clear vision on what the process is and what the goal is (To become the best Massage Therapist). It is also a pocket friendly and flexible with no doubt I am so Happy that I chose to enroll in this school! You can feel the positive energy from the beginning and so far My experience is nothing less than Amazing!!!

I decided to try a new massage place. I must say American Academy of Massage & Wellness did not disappoint. The staff and student massage therapist were super friendly and very professional. Great experience every time I come. The student therapists are consistent in their management of the client experience, which I have seen to be less common with other massage schools. Quality deep tissue massage especially for the rate.

Love everything about the school! I was very indecisive at the beginning but when I arrived at AAMW Mr. Mike gave me all the information I needed walked me through every step of registering. This school has been a game changer. After calling around and not getting straight forward pricing, I found this place and they took everything off my shoulders. They have absolutely every detail listed in the pricing and student handbook so there was zero confusion. I met my instructor and got to look at course materials before I ever signed a single paper. The location is clean and beautiful- it feels like home. The Executive Director met with me personally and went over every detail. By the time I left, I wasn’t even nervous anymore. Fast forward to classes: Joe is phenomenal. He’s passionate. He explains things thoroughly. He’s really in his element and it’s infectious. We actually have fun. The books are awesome and come with bonus materials. Every day I go to class, I wake up excited. And I didn’t have to quit my day job! From enrollment to employment, I’m covered- thank you!!First month down of classes and I’m still glad I made the change! Still having fun and my classmates are all awesome, too!

This school is amazing! When I was touring schools to see which one was best for me they were so transparent. I asked so many questions, they gave me a tour of the school, the spa, and allowed for me even to sit in on a class to make sure I was happy with my decision. They truly do care about your education and hold the massage industry to a high standard.Also, another big positive for me was the price and what you got. I really feel like I am getting my money’s worth! Other schools had a set amount but had hidden fees for books and other materials you will need. American Academy did not, THEY provide YOU with all the materials you will need.My teacher is great too, keeps the class engaged and energetic. You can really tell he is passionate about the massage and health and wellness industry and what he does for a living. I am really excited for the future!This school checked all my boxes and more! If you are thinking about it… here is your sign! Do it! You won’t regret it!

When I got there, I felt very welcomed and after learning about the school tuition and schedule I decided to enroll.On the first day of class, I was impressed with the instructor. My first visit was on December 21st and I was cared for by masseuse Brandy. I received one of the best 90 minute massages to date. She was very thorough and applied the perfect amount of pressure based on my preference. I definitely recommend Brandy and I look forward to my next massage.

The staff here is amazing! When I first called to request information about this school the staff were so on top of things and answered all of my questions. I showed up randomly on a weekend , they were closed BUT when I called the owner was so kind & set up time to meet with me and give me all the information on a date the fit my schedule.He asked what worked BEST for me when we did meet I even bombarded him with a face time call during our meet so my Mom and Aunt could hear every word he said about what the vision of the school is, the curriculum and etc, he was very kind to allow me to put him on the spot like that. Some business owners would not have been so kind. The teacher here as well is the same way. He works with us and is understanding of our schedules. I’ve learned so much in such a short amount of time. Key here is to ask questions, take notes & stay on top of assignments when we have the time at home as well. Overall my experience here has been blessed.

If your looking for an informative school that makes you feel like your on the right path than this is the place for you!! The ambience is calm yet you leave feeling accomplished once table work is done. Totally recommend this school.

This school is great!!! I already have homework and the instructor gives you plenty of time to finish the homework and its online to do in your own time. I like how everyday when I come to class we do hands on massage to practice our skills and a great way to learn more from the instructor. If you love learning about the human body or have background in anatomy or kinesiology this will be a great career for you as it is to me. Looking forward to grow in this school!!!
