This is not a safe environment. Whoever the owner/management is, does not care about the well-being of its customers and satisfaction is out of the question. The line outside of the door is a free-for all and all of the local thugs that cause problems inside of the bar will make their own line. Do the people who cut into like spend money inside of the bar? Absolutely not. They scare the women away and harass people trying to use the restroom. Last weekend a group of men threatened to shoot me over because they wanted to use the bathroom before me. The upper-portion of the building has been closed off but occupancy still stays the same which leads to a more crowded building. People push, shove, and fight because of this and hostility begins at the front door. Imagine spending $10 to get into such a place. Sharkeys embodies every negative stigma that comes to mind when envisioning Huntington. I have nothing positive to say about this place unfortunately.DANGER. STAY AWAY.

Had an awesome time. Wish it was last call at 3 a.m. instead of 2:30 but everybody that is drinking would say the same thing. The DJ had the place lit all night and it got so amazing after 1 a.m. when she started spinning some late 90s, early 2000s, club bangers. The drinks were a little bit more expensive than Id like but the atmosphere was cool enough to feel like the price was insignificant. All in all.....good time

I was down here for work and had a great time. Walking through downtown Huntington, we were trying to find a bar that seemed to fit what we wanted. We finally decided to go into the next bar we saw no matter what. This is where I met Sharkeys!! So glad this was the bar - we went on a Wednesday night and were the only group of people in there. There were a few people than came in after us but it was quiet for the most part because it was a Wednesday night. The bartenders were nice and gave us great service.Prices were reasonable which is always a plus! highly recommend

Experience was great but the staff needed at least one more bartender. The two that was working was overwhelmed but did a great job keeping up!

Everything was fine until the older lady that is a bartender/manager. Very rude. Lost my fiancé’s credit card in a bucket of beer and refused to look for it and proceeded to say “it was not her problem”. She also threatened to kick him out because he was mad. I mean why would you not be?! However, bouncer was very understanding and nice about the whole situation though.BTW it was apparently never found so we had to shut it off and probably will not go back.

Went here with my girlfriend and was highly disappointed. We went there and were charged $2 each, despite there only being 3 other people in the whole bar. Then 3 large women came in and were not charged because they were single. On top of that, the drinks were below average at best. The pool tables had stains all over them and didnt work anyways. Would not recommend to anybody and would probably warn people about this place specifically.

Karaoke Wednesday through Saturday and DJ Friday and Saturday nights. This little hot spot is the perfect place to hang out with friends and have a great time! $6 fishbowl specials, great staff, and good music.

Sharkeys is the best bar in Huntington. Almost every bar in town has either been shot up or shut down for underage drinking after a year or two. Not Sharkeys. Its been open for over 20 years. They dont allow anyone under 21 and security checks for weapons outside the door. They pride themselves on being safe place that you can drink and dance. Especially for women, its a place where no means no, and the staff enforce it. Any guy that doesnt understand the meaning of the word no will be asked to leave. Not only that, but they dont discriminate on absolutely anyone for any reason, and dont allow anyone else to. Sharkeys is a mix of all different types of people, and always has been. You never know what kind of person you are going to meet there. You will find people of all ages, any ethnicity, or any sexual orientation. If you are looking for a safe place to drink, dance, and just have fun. Then Sharkeys is the place you want to be.

The show wasnt bad at all!! But Id never go back there for n e other reason. They over charged my credit card by almost $30dol, which Im sure they prob do a lot of people that way considering when I told the girl about it an tried get her to make it right she says theres nothing she can do.. An it was the smallest place ive ever seen! An not the cleanest..

Such a disappointment. I’m 49 years old and can dance all night long on stage but when my husband or any other guy gets on stage they get kicked off. Where is the gender equality??Completely ridiculous when this place caters to older people. Not that great!

Always a great time. The Fishbowls are $6 and come in many options & the music is great. Usually a $3 cover but nothing excessive 10/10 for me.

Came to karaoke possibly (granted I came later 1am) abd found nothing but club music thumping with a showcase of the most middle aged dance floor possible. Still here and currently awaiting if were just on a break til singing commences. Doubtful.

Robin the manager cursed me out because I asked for waters even though my friend bought a drink and we paid to get in. So finally 10 mins later I got water and as we left i told Robin she had no rift to not serve is water...then she called me a B$$$$ and had the door man escort us out. Very odd but I will never go back there.

Pretty fun place to be they have a great DJ that comes in great bartenders. You’ll always find someone to talk to

Great bar! Only gave 4 stars because the bartenders are understaffed. Takes forever to get a drink when packed which is most nights

Went here during the Rebels and Readers book signing weekend. It was a nice bar and we had a fun time. Wish they had draft beer.

Service was pretty slow. Has to point out which rum I was asking for because they didnt know the products. Watching people dance was very entertaining

3 bucks to get in, only to find out its some country singer playing for an empty bar. Bartender was pretty awesome, though

Bartender took orders from customers just walking up although I had been waiting 30 minutes to put my order in. Shot cups are too small and plastic.

Its pretty for slow night and their pool tables and darts set a nice ambience for a mellow crowd

Cold brew, darts,and pool table. Friendly atmosphere, will definitely will be back. Highly recommend.

Was in town for an event and had a great time at sharkey’s! It’s open LATE and offers karaoke. What more could you ask for.

Its a place we can always come for fun! Whether there is a DJ or karaoke, the dancing is always good;)

Went for Male Review and only 1 bartender was friendly!! Had a hard time getting waited on though!!

First time ever in there. The guy who runs it is awesome! Super nice guy!
