The place is good, good music, really hot staff 😍 but we hadnt even crossed the door when the server was already pushing us to make our first purchase. I just found it a little funny and weird at the same time. The funny thing is that after the first round he totally forgot about us. But I had a great time and Im probably going back 👌🏼.

I had a terrible experience on February 28 2024 .There is 2 people that has no respectfor their customers at all,William and Fabian.Had a great time at bingo happy hour with Vickiana and Glen.These two gentlemen william and fabian came and asked us to leave in a very rude attitude.As a customer I felt disrespected as I went there to spend money and have a good time. There is no reason to treat customers in a bad way even if we dont fit the age criteria of their party at night. There are better ways to talk to people. Come on!!!I would leave zero stars if I could.As someone who has worked as a server, I understand the boundaries of overstaying at a table ,but when a guest hasnt even finishing items paid money for, you leave them alone, or at the *very* least- ask politely to move.I found this to be completely unacceptable

Wow, this place is absolutely amazing! The service here is top-notch, and the drinks are absolutely fantastic. Its such a fun place to hang out and have a great time dancing with your friends. Youre definitely in for a night to remember!

I dont like to say bad things but i definetly got overcharged and i am live and let live but just nake sure you pay for everything in cash. Also some Lady is like the dictadorial principal. Id love to like her but i cant.

They overcharge for Jackets check $5, then $14 for a house volka drink, $10 beer, I mean I understand that everything cost more this time but don’t abuse it.I live in Manhattan and even here prices are better then True colors bar,

Horrible place , I came to queens to dance to Latin music just to listen to house music that I could hear in manhattan. It’s a Latin neighborhood with no Latin music . DJ wouldn’t change the set a waste of a $10 cover . If you are looking for a Latin place with Latin music this is not the place ! Go to Friends Bar and save your money!

Great place but the damn drinks was around 17.00 before tip.

Unwelcoming environment, During my visit the 2 bartenders just stood behind the bar vaping and playing on their phones, i ordered i round of drinks ( 2 redbulls and one shot of rail vodka) it was $35. Every other place we visited and had similar orders was around $20. Do yourself do not waste any of your evening here.

They put nice music’s and the drink are good!! but the waiter Daniel and the manager actually they was rude and had attitude with us never happened to us this before… if we talking about the service in this place it’s the horrible place with a bad service… The manager she moved us from the table where we were with my group of friends and other girls that they were a different group, but the manager said that we had to move because we didnt go to the place often and that the other group deserved more space than us.

Best drinks and hot bartenders! Staff is very friendly and it was my first experience in queens and was amazing.

I used to love this place a few years ago.. back in town for a visit and stopped in here for a drink... $14.00 for a Titos & soda??? Way to overpriced.. also they should just allow smoking here... all the vapes and hookas (especially employees) smell is pretty bad.. on plus side the bartender that made my $14 drink was nice...

I was here last week with a few friends and the minute we stepped in we were targeted and we felt extremely harassed! The server was coming to us every 5 mins insisting that we purchase drinks, which I completely understand, however we were not ready. Eventually the manager threatened to kick us out and to avoid any issues we decided to leave. My first time here was amazing, but can’t see myself coming here again.

This was like 5 days ago, I’m still pretty upset about it. Went and danced to maybe 2-3 songs and was harassed by the “Life Guard” bar servers - keep in mind the place was packed and not everyone was consuming alcohol…. After 4 times of asking us again he said we had to leave if we didn’t buy a drink, so we should leave. We were but not at that very moment- this place is garbage.

The manager kicked us out of the club after 15 mins of being there for not having bought drinks yet. It seems like we were targeted as soon as we walked in. It was a very packed night and not everyone was consuming alcohol. The manager did not try reasoning and started getting disrespectful. We left the establishment to prevent any issues. Very distasteful.

Me and my friends arrived at True colors last saturday night and we were immediately harassed to buy drinks even though we absolutely intended to just not at that moment because we just arrived. Then the manager proceeded to kick us out after 15min there. We happily left and supported Friends and Viva with many rounds of drinks and enjoyed the rest of our night. But True colors and the way this establishment treated us after going all the way out there to support them in the wake of the Hells kitchen bar drama was disgusting. Its also illegal to force people to buy alcohol so i will also be reporting this establishment.

Our waiter was really nice, the drinks and music were good and the ambience was nice, but the hostess kept on harassing us all night, taking our chairs, and pressuring us to consume more when we were easily one of the tables ordering the most drinks. We were also one of the only groups with Black and trans people, so that’s telling of the dynamics that were at play. If you want an enjoyable night and you are Black and/or trans, avoid this place cause the hostess is gonna harass you all night and is not gonna value your business and presence in the space. This place is only fun if you are cis, non-Black and masculine. Sad that femme queer people of color cannot a space without constant harassment and disrespect.

Great look and vibe! Staff were kinda attentive. I walked in and ordered before the servers noticed and sat me down. Otherwise I love the place. Food or a show would draw a crowd stuck to their seats. I was 1 of three guests there on a Sunday. Loved the place.

I totally agree with the review that they dont welcome trans. I was asked to leave because how I dressed. But I dress the exact same way at The Rosemount, Metropolitan, Stonewall, and just about every other bar in NYC. But this placed had me leaving? Not a welcoming place!

The manager or bartender from this place is the worst person ever ; bad service, horrible attitude towards clients. NO GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE. Stuff should be carefully selected.

Thursdays for karaoke is a great time. Glenn the bartender is really sweet. The customers here are fun and its a great sound system for karaoke.

I was here on Christmas eve 2018 around 6pm, waiting for a private Christmas party to start that i had been invited to in Jackson Heights. No surprise...the bar was pretty empty. I do apprechiate it to be open that evening a lot. The bartender was super nice. It looks like they are updating a lot here. They have outlets at the bar, which is still not really common. Will definitely back.

Great local LGBTQ bar, the best music and attentive service, definitely a must if you are local.

It is a good place to hangout,however, the beers are overpriced. As i know, bottled beers are usually around $7-8, but here, u have to pay $10 for per bottle of beers. Compared to near bars, beers are overpriced.

If you order from a bartender, be sure to order from the same one if you have a tab open. They will grill you if that bartender in particular is not getting his tip. Rude, and no wonder nobody is on your side of the bar. I guess its the POS system they use... but thats an excuse I guess for BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

A small bar with a certain hemp smell. Maybe Im not used to New York. Drinks are priced high, possibly because New York is expensive. The customer service is excellent, although they could have a better people flow system so the place doesnt get so crowded.

I visited True Colors again, after a long time I arrived with friends because I remembered the good music that was heard but this time was the exception, but the music was completely a disaster almost all night long you could only hear it like Techno type I think its a Latin bar in the heart of the Latin area, how to be mixing those types of songs, on the other hand, the service was a little slow to be able to order our drinks, but the waiters were very friendly.

It was cool, I have never been to LGBT bars in New York, the only thing I didnt like was that you had to take off your sweater, there was no reason why you shouldnt wear a sweater in the bar. The rest was good in the atmosphere 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🎶

It is run by Colombian women, I think they are the owners, or in charge, I dont know, they have a bad attitude and bad temper when dealing with the public, that put me in a bad mood at first, I ended up in the bars around the one that provides the same service and atmosphere and had a great time. They play too much whale music, I like varied music but they stick with that type of music, its boring.

The incident last week where two transgender people attacked a boy by hitting him on the head until he left him in a coma seems to me to be an act of exaggerated violence, whatever the reason, they should be prosecuted and brought to justice for this act of exaggerated violence in my case I will not frequent this candle again

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB PLEASE!The employees are friendly but they are ordered to harass you so that you buy alcoholic drinks, the drinks are excessively expensive and the prices do not include taxes and when you pay you will find a big surprise, apart from the harassment of the employees, the manager also harasses people to order drinks and comments that if they do not order drinks they should leave the establishment. Totally disrespectful. The drinks are also a scam, some are served with an invisible amount of alcohol.

I did not order 10 drinks and if I did still you can not charge me $21.60 per absolute vodka and beer (regional). Total charge was $216.00. When I asked one of the bartenders about the price, the answer was “Oh I dont know” come and buy me next time. Ha if there will be next time.Customer service is exceptional. Regarding pricing “CARE AND CAUTION” I cannot emphasize this more than I have now. I ordered a few drinks, it wasnt 10 but if it were 10 the bartender still cant charge me $21.60 for absolute vodka and regional beers. Total price was $216.00. It is a very cozy place, from the moment you arrive they make you feel at home! The music is very good! And the light show, everything in general is very nice! And the staff is very special with every client that arrives.

I just entered this bar and it seems like an abuse to me that they charge you $5 when you enter and apart from that it is impossible to be inside, there were more than 500 people, I think, it was horrible, entrance x exit

I think it is one of the best bars in Queens, but I had a small mishap with a waiter (Dario) I think is his name, a little impatient in how he talks to the customers since his attitude was a little rude afterward everything is very good to me I love this place, I hope the manager can fix that in his workers. I like to have fun and this bar is one of my favorites 😊
