My husband and I scheduled a couples message for our Anniversary, these ladies didnt disappoint us at all. They were very friendly from start to finish. It was so soothing and much needed.

I’m never disappointed with Cashmere! She is an excellent therapist! Jessica is super amazing too and I can’t leave out Amy! At the Atlantic location Audrey’s my girl! All these girls are my personal favorites but I’m sure all the therapists are good.

My facial was so relaxing . I was so relaxed that I almost had to be scraped from the table. The soft music, aroma therapy and Kaitlin’s gentle voice and gentle touch all create the most relaxing atmosphere! My face feels wonderful after my facial land I am planning to make this a regular part of my health routine my husband gave me a years worth of coupons for monthly services here! Is he a keeper or what! I highly recommend this spa for services! The front desk ladies are very friendly

Mariah is an excellent massage therapist.She structures her therapy based upon the needs of the client from session to session.She works very to provide you with a positive session. She takes a lot of pride in her abilities.I always look forward to my sessions with her and walk out totally relaxed, happy & feeling good.The front desk also creates a positive experience. They are very professional & accommodating to the needs of the customer.I’ve been going every month for the past 8 years.

Gisele gave me what was probably the best massage of my life.. she was friendly, happy, professional, thorough and used several unique techniques that were both surprising and comfortable. Her positivity, outgoing nature, and clear enjoyment of her vocation came through her hands, elbows, forearms And left me feeling relaxed, energized, healed And appreciative. And to think that she does all this multiple times per day is really stunning! Thank you Massage Envy, and thank you Gisele, Gisele, Gisele!

Tatianas facial was fantastic. The technique and pressure she used was perfect. The products were high quality and left me glowing. She also gave me great skincare recommendations. Highly recommend her.

This was my 1st time coming to this location. I had a young lady by the name of Cashmere, who did an amazing job! She had strength in her fingers and worked my muscles and legs working out all of the soreness especially in my neck and shoulders. Great massage! I will definitely be back.

Been a member for 20 years. Theres some PHENOMENAL therapists at the Beach and Queens harbor locations...Ken, Milton, Katrina and many others. I hesitate to even put their names here because theyre already booked up in advance because theyre favorites!Cant say enough great things about Massage Envy. My only complaint is how much the prices have gone up 50% since the new owners took over recently, and they wont extend an expired gift card by even a day. Prices are still great compared to other private places. They also keep up with equipment and decor. But I do miss the previous owners with the small business touch.

Great experience from beginning to end. This was my first visit here and they definitely made a great 1st impression! Michael was awesome as well!

I received a call approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to a scheduled appointment advising that the appointment had been double booked. This appointment had been scheduled for a couple of months. During the call, I was also advised that my future appointments, already scheduled with this therapist, would need to be rescheduled as well. I am sorry, but to me that does not sound like an issue with double booking, but rather this therapist does not wish to work on me. I have been a client of this ME for at least 15 years and have never been treated like this. If I had contacted at the last moment advising that I could not come in, I would have been charged for a missed appointment. ME should do a better job on working with their therapists on customer service. If I require the pressure deeper than this individual wishes to go (and she used elbows a lot), she should have advised early on. I was even told by the second individual that I spoke with that this therapist was not taking new clients, yet I have seen her for at least 5 different months. Now is not the time to say she is not taking new clients. This customer is extremely unhappy with this treatment and is considering if the money spent on membership is now worth it.

This was my second appointment with Jeanna. She is fantastic at adjusting her style to your needs. Last time I had some spots that really needed attention and she was able to use enough pressure to alleviate the problem. This time I went in for a more relaxing massage and I definitely felt better afterwards.

Ken provides the most incredible deep tissue massage ever! Love this work! I have had massages both for sports as an elite athlete and then aging adult trying to play sports :-). Unbelievably helpful and consistent!!!

I had Amy for the first time. She is so experienced and listened to all of my concerns. In just one session she was able to improve my problematic symptoms and provide a tremendous amount of relief. I highly recommend her especially for those who are struggling with neck, shoulder, and upper back pain.

Caitlin deserves all the stars. She did everything she could to make me comfortable. She is incredible! Best massage I’ve ever experienced. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I needed to cancel my membership due to medical reasons, and filled out the necessary form and submitted my doctors note. I received a confirmation of cancellation “effective immediately” via email (see attached) on the 24th. I called today because I got charged again this morning and Nicole the manager told me they never received the forms and she doesn’t know who sent that email. I resent the forms that had a date of 22 March on them and was offered no solution even though the charge is still pending and could be canceled. Not a good way to do business

Cashmere ! Wow!!! I’ve been seeing Kashmere for almost 6 months now. She has been nothing but extraordinary every single time I’ve seen her. I’ve had issues with sciatica for years, and she is the only one that has been able to give me some relief through Massage. It has made a profound impact on my life to not hurt all the time. Amy applied just the right pressure and really worked the knots out of my back gently. I truly felt relaxed and pain free afterwards. She has healing hands!

I have experienced great massages at this location in the past. But not this time. I booked a 90min, firm, deep tissue massage. I ended up with 70min of soft rubbing and only 20min of a deep tissue massage.

This company is a scam, after purchasing a membership they never told me that the credits I paid for would expire. I had 7 tokens ($420) worth of massages that they “deleted.” After my massage, the manager at the front desk had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to sign up for another membership… no thanks. So disgusted

It was a nice massage mostly, unfortunately when she was working my neck, she had apparently done something, that is still 4 days later, hurting. I feel like I have a really bad kink and its hard to turn my head now. Not exactly how I wanted to feel coming out of a massage.

Jessica is the bomb. Love her to death. She is so good at what she does. I’m grateful when I can get into see her.

Jamal is hands down the best deep tissue masseuse I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. My mom told me about him (she leaves nearby), but I’m at 210 & 95, so it’s 35 mins away & I have another location 10 mins from me. I gladly drive from 210 to Jax beach, that’s how good he is & I’ve only been to him twice so far. The first time, I literally caught myself snoring & nodding off… I’ve been getting massages for 25 years now & I’ve never fallen asleep like that.

The manager, Nicole, steals people’s money by double charging various accounts/credit cards on file for the same membership fees. When questioned about it, she says she’s going to credit back, but the credit never comes…only continuous charges. In addition, they sold us a bunch of “additional services” coupons, that they do not honor. Do not trust this place.

I’ve been going to massage envy for some time now. I have been having issues with my back and Jamal and Jeanna are my go to therapist. I am always able to have some relief when it’s over. Looking forward to my next session!

Jessica and Maurice were great! Jessica had the perfect amount of pressure and gave extra attention to problem areas. Ive never had someone stretch and massage my neck like she did. You can tell she knows what shes doing! My fiance loved Maurice and all the stretches he did. He said Maurice paid attention to his problem areas, especially the shoulders and kept great pressure throughout the massage.

If I could give no stars I would. WORST customer service experience in recent history.Let me preface this review by saying I was called an hour before my original appt and told the service provider was not available and asked if I would like to reschedule, which I did.Upon my return for my massage a week later, but NOT prior to, I was informed they have no grace period. That I needed to arrive early to fill out paperwork and that they would be subtracting that time from my massage, while proceeding to charge me full price.When I objected and asked to reschedule, they refused and instead charged me the FULL PRICE of the appt, which was intended as a birthday gift.The cherry on top is that the customer service number is essentially an abandoned answering machine. I could not be more dissapointed w the way I was treated here and the fact there is no recourse is infuriating. They literally took my money for nothing and treated me like trash.

Amy is the best! Ive been seeing her monthly since early 2017 and currently travel 1.5 hours for my appointment. I recommend Amy and massage therapy to everyone!I am blessed to have found her!

Had a massage with Michael, I am FIXED. I came in for a gigantic knot in my shoulder blade that I tried to get out at home. It was causing a lot of pain and stiffness. He knew exactly what to do and what pressure my body needed to help it release. He did a focused upper body massage and worked around it and through it. He did a lot of lymph work as well which was nice. I walked out able to move my arm smoothly and throughout the day it only continued to improve.

We have visited many locations but we really like this one. Wonderful, friendly staff. Great massage therapists. The environment is relaxing and calm

This is one of the best franchises for massage and facials. The space is always clean and well organized. All of the service providers are friendly, professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I always leave feeling refreshed. Highly recommend Katelyn for a facial! She will curate the ideal experience and leave your skin feeling clean and looking glass-like.

Caution: the transfer to you option of your unused massage is a scam. I tried to use one and they wouldnt honor it. I personally use Shine Massage in Jax Beach, not corporate and no scams.

This was my first time going and I had an okay at best experience. The therapist used a lot of elbows and not a lot of oil or lotion. It is off putting to have hairy arms pushing on you with no oil - very scratchy. And then to dig into your muscles and not move it for literally almost 2 minutes over and over again is not relaxing, or in my opinion, a massage. The room was too cool and the table not very comfortable. They ask you in front of the therapist “how was it?” And then go into trying to sign you up for the package without really caring how your experience is. I would not go back again.

Kenneth gave me the best massage of my life. I left feeling amazing. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

Kenneth does such a great job listening and then applying his knowledge of massage therapy and his additional trainings to the body. He’s usually booked out but if you get to get in on his schedule at the Beaches you won’t regret it! Full disclosure he will do firm pressure so if that’s not for you then be advised. Jessica is great. I recently had a hip replacement and was a little nervous about getting my regular theraputic massage but she gave pressure where needed and was careful to avoid surgical area. It was awesome and so needed.

Kenneth greeted me on time for my 60 minute massage and was absolutely amazing with his hands (he has had over 13 years of experience) the pressure was firm; just what need I with a proper massage. My stiff neck and shoulders were no longer bugging me… highly recommend!

I have been to Michael 3 times. Each time he focused on the areas I needed. I came in with shoulder pain and left with zero pain. He is the best.

Jamall is my go to doctor. I have 13 vertebrae fused and the best medicine I receive is from his massages. He has a wonderful touch and a natural intuition on how to approach tight muscles. I would highly recommend him.

Had another great massage with Ken today. He is able to find the kinks and work them out.

Great location, great fun, employees getting along and laughing and smiling and always helpful. The inside is spotless as well as the bathrooms. The young man taking the orders is super friendly. Good luck ever canceling a membership. Theyll claim to never receive your paperwork, barely answer the phone, wont respond to emails. Say they never received emails even when you email them 7x in a day your cancellation request. Ive been trying to cancel my membership for MONTHS. and im still being charged while they claim they never received a cancellation..

Easy to schedule online, efficient and friendly check in. Cashmere, massage therapist, listened to my concerns and addressed these areas. Very professional and great technique. She checked with me frequently to assure the pressure was correct. All over, a great experience.

Jim always does a pre-brief to see a certain where I believe I need more emphasis. He always gives his professional opinion as he discovers other areas that require attention. He is kind and respectful, chats if I want to but quiet, if that’s the way I’m feeling. His knowledge of anatomy/kinesiology is evident as he hits all the troubled areas. I could not be more pleased!

My husband bought me a membership for Mother’s Day. While the massage therapist was very nice, it did not feel like a massage. No aroma therapy and lights on, she rubbed the same area of my back for almost the entire 90 minutes without oil. My skin was sore for days from the dry rubbing. I am hoping that the next one is better.

Booked a massage therapist at this location that was listed as offering firm pressure. I could have saved my money by having my 4 year old niece give me a massage. The therapist kept rubbing my back over and over to where my skin was getting sore. She did one arm but not the other. No focus on certain muscles or groups of muscles, just a random rub-down. I called in and spoke to the manager to express my concern and no concessions were offered.

Jessica is absolutely one of the Best massage therapists at Massage Envy. I have been a customer there a long time. Jessica goes the extra mile to try to make your massage the best it can be.

The reason this location has such low stars is because the front desk doesn’t know what they’re doing. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and called to book a prenatal massage for Saturday morning and confirmed that the masseuse I was booked with was certified to do prenatal massages. The receptionist said she was. When I came in, the masseuse looked at my belly and said she wasn’t certified to do prenatal massages. There were no other certified masseuses available that day and the receptionist asked me if I wanted to do a facial instead…. I told them to just cancel it. Extremely disappointed and will not return to this location again.

Carol listens to my needs and plans with me the appropriate treatment. She is always professional and friendly. She recommends skin care products that are helpful to my needs.

This is the email I sent to corporate offices guarding the issuance of gift cards that never work. The office I bought them at still has not responded! To Whom it may concern:I am writing this email to you because I am very disappointed in the process your company has with its gift cards. I have had trouble 3 times using gifts cards that I purchased from the store in which I have an account with. My membership is with the Massage Envy located at 3940 S Third S. Jacksonville Beach, Fl. 32250. On May 8,2022, I purchased a $70 massage for my childs teacher who is also my coworker. I also purchased one buy one get one facial for my mom and my daughter. I was told my mom could use one and my daughter could use the free one. I scheduled an appointment for my mother and when she went to get the facial, the gift card showed empty. They tried to charge her for the facial. Instead, they transferred my points to cover it. I was furious when I found this out and called and spoke with the manager (Nicole). She further investigated it and found that the promo was removed from the program you use after a certain period. She refunded my points and put a note on the account that my daughter would be coming in for her scheduled appointment and how to use the second part of the buy on get one facial promo. The same thing happened to my daughter and I had to contact the manager again to get the problem resolved. On Friday May 19th, my coworker went in to use her gift card at the Massage Envy located at 13475 Atlantic Blvd. They told her there was a 0 balance on it. I purchased this for a gift for her birthday. She wound up having to pay $70 for the massage. I contacted the Jacksonville Beach location and explained what had happened to the assistant manager. She looked into it and had several different excuses for what could have happened but did not know for sure so she left a message for the manager who was not in until Monday. I have yet to be contacted. I called back and spoke with Dana on 5/22/23 and she still had not made Nicole aware of the issue. Guess it is not as important to them as it is to me. I dont need to tell you how embarrassing it is when you give someone a gift card for a special occasion and it doesnt work and they are charged for it!!!! One time I can understand some type of mistake being made. But, 3 TIMES!!!! That is incompetence and bad business. I wont trust in purchasing a gift card from you anymore. The people who received my gift cards not only wont purchase a gift card but now look at massage envy as being shady and would never purchase anything there. That is not only 3 lost customers but now you have bad word of mouth as well. I would like a complete refund in cash for my friend to go pick up at the location where she received her massage. I have attached a copy of my bank statement with the membership fee and the $120 for the gift card and the buy one get one free facial for Mothers Day purchased on May 8,2022.

I have been going to Mariah at Massage Envy @ Jax Beach for over a year now to receive a 90 minute deep tissue massage once a month. This type massage is not for those looking for a serene, gentle massage, but is what old war horse like me needs to help me keep active and doing the things I love. Mariah is unquestionable the best masseuse I have ever gone to. Polite, professional, intuitive, and just excellent at what she does. So, for all you over 60 folks who want to keep running, cycling, pickle balling, or whatever, and need to deal with the aches and pains of our age go see Mariah. You won’t be sorry.

Today was my first time ever having a massage and I had the pleasure of being with Jamal. He was so nice and he did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and I really enjoyed the entire 90 minutes I had with him. He talked to me beforehand to ask me where exactly were my areas of concerned and he catered to the specific areas that I had mention to him. I will most definitely be back to see him whenever I’m able to make time to get another massage.

The massage was a little too much for me mostly because my skin is really tender. Overall the therapist was very helpful and a very nice guy.

Go elsewhere!! I expect a great experience when I book a massage. I do not want to be told one price over the phone and another at check out. I also expect to get the services I asked for and not be told at check out - OH - we forgot your aromatherapy add on !!! ?? I expect when I voice concerns to the staff - not to get a smirky attitude and laughed at when I voice my disappointment. As for me and my family we will not be back ever again to any massage envy.

Not a customer service friendly company. Their rigidity and inflexibility serves to benefit the corporate office, not the “members”. I would recommend a locally owned and independent massage place where business decisions can be made more thoughtfully and with less corporate influence.

After continuing paying for my membership throughout the pandemic, I was excited to finally start getting massages again with all of the credits I had racked up. This location repeatedly canceled my appointments at the last minute and then charged me a cancellation fee for an appointment that someone at the store had already told me they cancelled over the phone. Nicole (the store manager) told me the only way she could refund me was to take the money away from the massage therapist.I refuse to believe they couldnt have made this right--knowing that this was not my fault or the massage therapists fault. I obviously didnt want to take money away from her when she did nothing wrong, so now I just have to eat the cancellation fee.Look elsewhere. Ever since these stores became corporate owned, the caliber of service has been terrible.

Beware...I went to the Massage Envy in Jacksonville Beach 13 months ago. It was Memorial Day. I was so stiff and sore I was delighted to find a business open for a massage. Before taking me to the back, one of the girls at the desk sat by me with an iPad. She explained that if I bought an annual membership my services at ME would be more than half off. I signed the agreement because a one time annual fee seemed like a good deal.The service provided at this Massage Envy are mediocre at best, so I went in 6 months ago and said that I did not want to renew my membership. The girl behind the counter said that I did not have to worry about it until September of this year. Yesterday, I learned that the Jacksonville Beach Massage Envy has been charging my account $70 per month if I used their services or not. When I confronted the manager, Nicole, she said there was nothing she could do because I signed the contract. I asked to speak to someone who could do something. Nicole said that would contact the district manager. I never heard from her.Beware friends...Jax Beach ME removed $910 from my account plus the fees for the 3 times I went in. If I had not contacted my bank there is no telling how much more they would have taken even though I was not using their services.

Have had Giselle for several massages. She continues to be the best in all my experiences and I’ve been going to Massage Envy for many years.

Awful customer service. I had an appointment booked for my birthday and the front desk made it a huge deal to have to switch what name my appointment was under which I found weird but once they switched it she didn’t add the aroma therapy because she says “well we booked a new one so I didn’t add it” which was weird. Online when I booked it told me including aroma therapy it would cost around $105, but when I checked out she told me my total was $120 without aroma therapy… I asked why and she told me it’s because I’ve been there within the past 6 months… which is not true. Once I called to get everything straight the front desk lady had a terrible attitude and decided to laugh on the phone when I told her we won’t be coming back… save your money and go somewhere else this place is awful. The front desk lady’s are extremely stuck up and straight up rude.

Lol, this place is a complete and total joke. They do not even hire certified nor licensed massage therapists… they just hire anybody off the street who fills out an application that wants to give massages to other people. They do a great job of hiding this information because they do not even list any of the supposed “masseuse’s” profiles or bios on their website. Most of the massage therapists that I witnessed were either retired senior citizens or teenagers at their very first job. For my massage, they randomly assigned me to some 75-year old retired woman who had absolutely zero prior experience in the massage industry, and kept confusing bones with muscles! She spent most of the massage trying to relax my “very tight” bones! Lol! She knew nothing at all about the human body, and kept asking me where I thought she should be trying to relieve tension. I kept trying to guide her properly, but it is impossible to both receive a massage and train someone at their “supposed profession” at the same time. And of course, the next morning, I woke up with painful black & blue marks everywhere that she tried to relax my bones. Obviously, all of this is to be expected from the national fast food chain for massages. To make matters worse, they will hound you nonstop & constantly to signup for their monthly membership packages. Can you imagine how much better things would be if they spent as much time on hiring excellent licensed professional masseuses as they do on trying to force memberships down your throat? Hey Massage Envy, focus on quality massages first, and the money will follow. It’s a shame that Google doesn’t let us leave zero star reviews, because this business should be shut down.
