Amaaazing experience! My 1 hour combo massage with Julie was awesome, she’s sweet and very talented. The guy at the front desk was also very nice and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back! Also, it smells really good inside!

Don’t get me wrong I love this place and will return but if you are pregnant don’t expect much… I got the 30 minute foot rub and the man massaged so light it felt like he was just trying to moisturize my skin, unfortunately didn’t even use that much lotion/oil.I asked why he went so light when checking out and they said because I’m pregnant it’s “ not good for pregnant people I told him to go light on you”Well that really bummed me out because I’m 29 weeks pregnant swollen and my feet are killing me I was really looking forward to some relief instead I left out 50$ still in pain and kinda moisturized. I really was excited for the pressure points on my feet to be worked out as your foot is direct access to heal soooo many other parts of your body.Should have just stuck to the chiropractor!On the other hand if you’re not pregnant I’ve had my feet and back done here previously and loved it.

Money cant buy your ultimate happiness, but it can buy you 90 minutes at Tang Dynasty and thats something. I am so happy this place came to Jax and hope it never changes. I have had massages with Jason and Kevin, and both were amazing. These guys work HARD. Im amazed at how quiet it is when they are working so physically hard to work out my many knots and kinks (like how they arent grunting and sweating, idk lol).The first time I came in, I had a huge, visible knot at the base of my neck/between my shoulders. I thought I was developing a neck hump and was doing PT stretches and exercises for it. One 90-minute combo with Jason, and it was better. My neck looked visibly different and felt 100x better thanks to his attention to detail and hard work.My MIL was visiting, and I wanted her to experience it as well. I booked her with Jason (since I knew he was great), and did a 60-minute body massage with Kevin. This too was wonderful. He also paid special attention to my tight shoulders and neck, and my spine and back feel incredible.I appreciate the effort and work put into their massages. I have paid for fancy spa massages that were nowhere near as effective.The facility is clean and environment relaxing. Everything seems fresh without any strong scents, which i especially appreciate. I like that since you stay fully clothed I can hop in and out for my appointment and get right back to work. I have had two awesome experiences here and will definitely be coming back.

I got a 30 minute massage with half on the back and half feet. Definitely helped with some shoulder pain but the star of the show was the foot massage. I’m going to do a full 30 min foot massage next time. I had been dealing with feeling on edge and the foot massage put me in a calm and relaxed state. Easy to book with plenty of availability.

Jacob/Jake (I forgot) was SO good, and he made my shoulder feel very flexible, as i couldn’t really move it comfortably before coming. For the price, it is the best option to go to. Would recommend!!!

The human body is truly the perfect machine; even if the intended muscles arent functioning properly, itll subtly recruit other muscles & movements needed to complete the task at hand. Pain made me well aware of my bodily changes. Thankfully, Mrs. Julie worked her massage magic and got me back on the battlefield of life. If you want to feel like a new one hundred dollar bill, NewTang Dynasty is the place to visit.

There is new management, but the same facilities and same therapists. When I first called to make an appointment, I actually reached the old owner and she told me she missed her customers, but was really thrilled with the new owners.There are a few changes, gone is the $39 shoulder/hand/foot massage which was my favorite, but they replaced it with some very good options. I found the massage to be just as good as it has been for the last ten years I have been going.

This new establishment in Jax Beach is a welcoming addition to traditional massages, especially foot massages. Clean. All the staff are friendly.

This place has always been hit or Miss because the prices are low you get what you pay for but after my last massage I wouldn’t go back. I have had a few decent experiences but the bad strongly outweighs the bad now. It always smells terrible to the point that it’s distracting and this last massage was 90 minutes and maybe 15 minutes were enjoyable.

Me and husband been there so many times, and service been very good. Everytime you come, it will be different person with a different technique.

Even though I did not go there, from its name, I can imagine that it is a great place to relax totally.

BEWARE!! Very disappointed This was not a massage, it was a push, pull, elbow in my back experience. I scheduled a 90 minute massage and had to tell the employee it was too rough at least 4 times. Unfortunately he did not understand. I almost got up in the middle but my friend was having a massage next to me and I didn’t want to ruin her experience. Afterwards, I found out she felt exactly the same way. These technicians need more training. I usually feel so relaxed and refreshed after a massage but this time I felt like I had just been beat up. Expressed my concerns as I paid $105 for this “service” and it didn’t seem to be a surprise.

Already can’t wait to come back again, this place is wonderful, clean, professional, and I felt like I was floating as I left. I got the 90 minute full body combo. The chairs are wider than pedi chairs, the lighting is very relaxing. I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve been coming here for 3-4 years now and just had the best massage from Julie, perfect hardness of pressure, great stretches, relaxing but she still got that elbow all over my back.

Wonderful experience. You remain clothed and are in a quiet, dark space with other people in the room. For me this helps me feel like the massage is for my health instead of an indulgence. Excellent massage.

Tang Dynasty is awesome! I need massage and sometimes cannot get in with my regular therapist, so I go to Tang! Ever since my first visit after a friend referred me, i was hooked. I call in advance for my appointments, they get me right in usually, and I book the 90 minute full body and foot massage, because its the best :) affordable and offers me and my muscles the relaxation I need.I ask for a strong therapist, because I enjoy a deeper massage.

I visited last night for the first time, had an amazing experience. The front desks staff were so sweet. You are lead into a great room that is dimly lit, quiet, and open. There are many massage tables in the room, no privacy curtains (I really liked this!). You are lead to your table and I was immediately given a warm foot soak. My massage was done by a man named Tom. He started at my head, then feet/legs, and finished with my back. I made a last minute appointment with no problem. I decided to do 30 minutes of feet reflexology and get my back done for an additional 30 minutes (deep muscle massage). Basically full body massage including feet for an hour and was only $55. He massaged my head, ears, neck, shoulders, legs and feet, back, and lower back/butt. He delivered a deep massage, cracked my back..the works. It was absolutely amazing. I will definitely go here regularly.

I used to love this place. The price has almost doubled and new ownership has me befuddled. Today I wentWith two friends.. got there at 1145 for noon appointment. Set us in chairs for 15 minutes ( fine we were early) and started on time. Mediocre foot and back massage nothing like it used to be.. and it was only 50 minutes. When I addressed it while paying they said “you got here early”. I said the service didn’t start until noon. They said they will make it up the next time… and proceeded to charge me the full price! No they won’t because I won’t be back.

Starting with the basics- plenty of parking, easy access from 3rd Street, easy to make an appointment, facility is immaculately clean. Moving onto the good part, prices are exceptional, especially for such a high quality service. Gratuities are not included in pricing, however, they most certainly are appreciated and absolutely earned. have been seeing massage therapists for years, and currently work a high stress job that has me on my feet 12 hours/ day 6/ days a week- needless to say, my body is fairly beat up. After a 70 minute session, I’m a new person. Reflexology is a amazing... there’s a reason it’s been practiced for so many generations... and the staff at Tang are masters. The work they do on my neck and back are equally wonderful. Talented, professional staff, organized and well run business- I can’t recommend them enough.

I have been going there for years whenever I visit Jax Beach. It has always been great and I have always been happy, but this last visit was amazing. Christine gave me one of the best massages I have ever received! I was in so much pain and when I left I felt so much better. And as always polite and professional.

The best foot massages ever, and at a reasonable price too. I live in Tallahassee now, but when I lived in Jacksonville I visited Tang Dynasty regularly. The ambiance is pretty good too - even though the room is full of other people, its dark and quiet with gentle background music and you can easily feel like youre the only one there. The employees are professional and the massages are terrific. I have yet to find a place that even approaches the experience Ive had at Tang, but so far no luck. (The last place I tried had their massage chairs in the lobby where you could see and hear the front desk clerk. It was also brightly lit and there was a wall mounted HDTV tuned to the news. Not exactly relaxing.) Like others, I was angered by the recent attempt by authorities to intimidate Tangs management. This place is possessional and a real asset to the community. I plan on visiting whenever I return to visit Jacksonville, and I plan to bring my friends.

This place is amazing! I would go there everyday if i could. Its unlike any massage you have ever had so be prepared. Prices are extremely reasonable and environment is clean and professional. The 70 minute combo for $49 is a steal. Its not a fluff and guff massage so if you dont like it hard, you nees to let them know aheas of time.

Not everyone likes a firm massage (reflexology is supposed to be firm), but if you do this place is amazing. My masseuse started with my face, ears and scalp, worked his way all the way down to my toes and ended with an all over back and legs rub down, even a little Thai massage mixed in. A girlfriend of mine told me about this place and I am so glad I went. I am going to take another friend this week and pass the love along, not to mention I cant wait to go back.FYI, this is not the usual private room and oils massage. I wore shorts and a tank top, because I knew I would not be getting undressed. You are in a room with a bunch of other people, but that really doesnt matter once the massage starts... It is too amazing to matter.

Love this place. So calm. I have dozed several times during the foot massage. I typically always get the 70-minute combination body massage with foot massage and I just tell them that I dont want deep tissue that way youre not getting so beat up. But if you like it rough the regular massage is the way to go but they can tone it down as well and you will walk out feeling so refreshed.

This is the first time Ive ever had a full body massage, naked, covered by a towel, and done by a man. Before having me turn over so he could do the front, he put oil on my back and then rubbed it in with hot rocks!! It was a terrific massage and one Ill never forget! Very discreet and considerate masseuse. Highly recommend this place. All massages are done by men. Only woman is the receptionist.

It is a very deep massage on the back so it can feel intense at times. However the end result is better than any relaxing massage I have ever had. The reflexology massage on the feet is extremely relaxing and a great treat for anyone who works on their feet all day. I highly recommend to anyone who has been on the fence.

It seemed to be serious because your business was raided by FBI and homeland security office, plus they do an investigation because they suspected and believed a human trafficking which was undergoing in your business. This tragedy would cause your business to be locked down for few days. It made me upset when I hear about that.But anyway, it could not convince and persuade me to believe what they stated is true. The reason is your business has been opened legally for many years, and many customers like to go there for a foot spa. It just does not make any logic to me. Moreover, my families and me often to go for a reflexology in every weekend in Tang Dynasty Foot Spa. My families like foot massage because of me and I always keep asking them to go even they were embarrassed in their first time to try. Even more, I recommended Tang Dynasty Foot Spa to my friends and relatives after I got to know and familiar with this place and employees there. The spa environment, motivated employee working efforts, attitude and enthusiasm are zealous. I would love this cozy place and also gave a good rate without any hesitation. The place is very stunning and interesting to me with classical Chinese decoration inside and is very quiet to calm myself to relax from my stressful job. In addition, the employees are hardworking and giving enjoyable foot service to me and my families, they treated afforded every single customer very gently and nicely.I believe that many old customers also have established a robust friendship with the owner and employees so far. I’m very torn and finding it difficult to write a review because my girlfriend and I had very different experiences. The man who massaged her was gentle, yet thorough enough to really help her shoulder which had been bothering her. She had said that the guy that she had was very understanding when he was using too much pressure and adjusted his procedure as needed. She actually enjoyed it so much that at the end of the hour she sat up and hugged him. The man that I had, used so much pressure with both his elbows and his knees that I could breathe and despite my grunting, hand clenching, and wincing in pain he did not let up much. I actually woke up the next day with a number of bruised spots on my back. Maybe it was just because my muscles were really tight, I don’t know, but my experience left much to be desired. The facility was clean, dimly lit, and the music was nice.

Really enjoyed my reflexology massage. Im not from Jacksonville and never had a massage like this in such a nice chair. Wish he could of worked on my lower back more and we could of chose the smell in the environment, but overall, really enjoyable.

Love Tang and the owners who have only ever been wonderful and kind. I hate to see what has happened recently to them and hope the charges prove to be false. Shen Liu, known as Angie, is always nice and has even refunded money to a friend of mine when she realized my friends massage had been cut a little short. I absolutely love the massages there and am not sure what I will do if they dont get to reopen as I am a once a month visitor to this amazing place!

This place is a joke. No one speak English there! We told them we wanted a foot and head massage. At the end of the massage, at checkout, they told us they didnt have a person licensed to do a head massage. They should of told us before the massage instead of after at the checkout counter. Will NOT recommend them and will never visit again!

I’ve been three times now and last time was the worst. I have had great reflexology done before at other places (albeit very expensive) and I keep going back thinking surely someone there will do it right but it’s just like getting a foot massage at a pedicure place but for longer. I have never had anyone use actual pressure points or even work on my toes or balls of my feet. It’s just continuous rubbing of feet. And I find they are very rough and feel rushed. Not relaxing at all. I also have a very sore ear from him pulling on it so hard. 3 strikes and I’m out.

I went there twice. First time, it was perfect! I receive the foot massage from one of the professional masseurs. The second time, however, the lady at the front desk gave me a very bad massage that I did not like at all. It did not hurt, she basically did nothing similar to the last time. Sad!

Was given the one hour package as a gift.The place was nicely set up and non-threatening.My friend and I were placed on neighboring reclining chairs.My vision was partally covered with a towel.I could see my masseuse was watching and following the masseuse working on my friend.I obviously received a new trainee.He couldnt keep up with his instructor stopping work half way through my right leg and missing my right arm entirely.I understand deep tissue massage but this moron thought he needed to bare down on the actual vertebra (directly on the bones), not the tissues, causing bruises and pain that lasted over a week.The worst massage experience ever.I am very disappointed they thought it was OK to use a trainee on me cause it was my first time in.I have formal training in Shiatsu massage from SUNY Purchase.This was my first Thai massage.I wasnt impressed.Not recommend.

Looking for a relax session after a long day beach side? This is the place to go! They offer reflexology foot massages and deep tissue massages. I love going here with my BFF to cap off a Sunday funday, it’s a perfect relaxing environment, as soon as you walk in the front desk staff is there to get you settled in, putting you into a large lounge chair of sorts. Then your massage therapist comes over and gets started. After an hour you will feel refreshed and less tense.

I lost my engagement ring at this location last Thursday. I set on the chair in the massage room and left without it. I realized Id left it about an hour and half later but it was no where to be found. The owners have been helpful but Im praying someone has seen it or they will find it or for some kind of miracle. My engagement ring isnt valuable but its sentimental to me. Any help would be amazing. Offering a $500 reward if its found. Thanks!

When you go in they will ask you what kind of massage you want and the pressure. I did the back only for 40 minutes and it was very enjoyable. There are a ton of massages to choose from. I definitely plan on going back very soon.

Tang Dynasty is The Bomb! Angie and Po are so kind and provide great massages at an affordable price. The language barrier is easy to solve.If I have a special request, I simply use a translation on google, or literally draw them a pic. Ambiance is great. What more could you ask for? ❤❤❤❤💯🤙

Came here with my mom while she was in town a while back.Here was our experienceMade an appt. night before, we called to confirm the next day, we showed up and they said they thought we called to cancel. There was most certainly a language barrier...which is fine, but it caused quite the ordeal as my mom was leaving town the next day so we ended up spending our last night (instead of afternoon) at this foot space instead of hanging out with my dad. It was unfortunate because it was not true reflexology either. (Ive had it done before) - not even sure if essential oils were used at the spa. I dont think Ill be going back.
