I had a relaxing massage here yesterday with Rachel and it was fantastic. There is something so unique and cozy about this space and I would highly recommend!

Deb is an earth angel!!! I have been in pain for weeks due to side effects from my chemotherapy treatment. She listened to my needs and gave me the best massage of my life. The relief I felt was incredible! She truly is amazing. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found her and this wonderful, clean, & relaxing spa.

I love Shine! This is my weekly go-to for 90-min massage. Keeps my feeling ten years younger. Shelby is an awesome therapist! She brings positive energy and fantastic technique to every session and shes always focused on helping me feel better. Couldnt give a stronger recommendation.

My experience with Shine Massage and Spa was small but mighty. I had the pleasure of getting a good stretch by Emily and I was able to experience the body pressure thingy. I’m not sure what it was. Lol, but it was amazing. I attended this fitness event where they were vending. Both ladies were extremely kind and welcoming. =)

My husband and I stayed in the Shine 2/2 shine rental and it was perfect! It was decorated with a great beach theme, the bed was very comfortable, and it a stones throw (walking distance) to the beach. I scheduled a massage with Margie and it was perfection. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the Jax Beach area. I would totally stay again.

Had such a good experience for our couples massage. The staff is so friendly and warm! I love the decor, and all of the different things they offer there! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here for our staycation. He got a massage and said it was so great even on his tough tight muscles! Ally was amazing and she gave me a chest, shoulder, neck and arm massage and a facial all in one! She used a cooling, soothing minty product and it was incredible for much needed relaxation for my mini vacation.

If you are looking to have a great massage in the Jacksonville beach area, this is the place! My husband, son and I all had 90 minute deep tissue massages and will definitely visit this spa again! They were awesome and just what we needed! Highly recommend!

She was very friendly and personable. Came down with the family for a mini vacation. Wanted to surprise my wife and daughter with a facial and massage. Carla was able to make room to see both of them. They made this vacation wonderful and we will be back. My daughter and wife said nothing but good things about the treatment. They loved it.

By far, the very best professional massage I’ve ever had!..I was running a lil late due to the Jacksonville traffic and construction on 295N .. however they did not make that an issue, and we got straight to it!!! Not sure where those bad reviews came from. My wife and I get a couples message every month here. Josh and his therapists are great. Very friendly and good at what they do. I started using them initially using a group-on and had no problems. I highly recommend them they have not only become our go to place for messages but friends.

I had the best massage in years by Alecia. I did not realize that my neck was that tight before the massage. I can move it around without restrictions. My hands and feet feel so much better. My shoulder is in better alignment.Yes, I recommend Shine Massage & Spa.

I got a massage here while on vacation and it was amazing! They notified me that they were running a little behind, but let me sit in the sauna while I waited. Carly was amazing and everyone I talked to was so friendly and inviting!

I really love this place. It’s very relaxing from the moment you walk in.I had another amazing massage with Alicia, who I’ve been going to for over a year. Seeing her monthly has made such an improvement in my neck, shoulders, and lower back. She’s one of the best!

*** read the bottom for update***I honestly was so disappointed, and I have been looking forward to this spa day for weeks. Firstly, Sue was perfect, no complaints for her or her service of the body wrap. Secondly, I was called last week to reschedule, which is fine, things happen. But I was told to be there at 10am when Josh called me. Then I got there today and was told it wasnt until 11:30. So, I ran errands for an hour and a half and then came back. I did the body wrap with sue, and that was great. But then I overheard that the Josh was late because he was hung over, and that why appointments were being cancelled. So I thought that was weird, but again stuff happens. Josh was scheduled to do my massage, but he didnt want to do it, so someone else, never got her name did it. She was quiet, and cold. I tried asking questions to feel a little more comfortable and I felt like I was annoying her. Some of the massage was fine, but several times I had to tell her less pressure. It was becoming more painful rather than relaxing. After it was done. She unplugged her phone (for the music) and started to walk out as she was telling me the massage was over and to meet up front. This was definitely not my first massage, so I knew to get up slow and sit on the side of the table for a couple of minutes to get your bearings back. But she just walked out, didnt wait to see if I needed help. When I opened the door, I almost couldnt find my way to the front of the building, and I was still dizzy. When I got to the front. JOSH was on the phone yelling and cursing (F bombs) out someone while on a personal call, in front of clients. I understand everyone has bad days, but he didnt ask me once about my experience or appologize for any of the changes, but quickly turned to me to check and see if I was leaving a tip for the other two people who worked on me (I had a Groupon). I will not be going back and its unfortunate because I would have tried a facial with Sue. But Josh was unprofessional, rude, and the massage was just not relaxing at all. I even apologized to the girl because she got stuck with me because thats how she made me feel. I hope others have better experiences than I did. Good luck!***updated review***The day I wrote my original review the actual owner of the business called me to find out what happened, and offered her sincere apologies, and asked for a second chance. I accepted because I believe in second chances. Carla scheduled me for a facial with Sue (which was amazing!) And a redo massage. It was originally supposed to be with Carla, but the day before she had a different girl she wanted me to meet, named Brandi. Brandi is a very sweet soul, with very good/warm/healing energy. I would say my second time around was much better! Brandi and Sue made a world of difference!

Wonderful variety of wellness services offered and great, knowledgeable staff that are experts in their fields. Josh Lee gives the best deep tissue massages Ive ever had and has elimated my my neck and back pain with regular sessions. I had never tried acupunture before and have a disease that comes with daily, debilitating migraines, and Blue Lotus Acupuncture, also located at Shine, has given me so much relief. Great staff, great vibe, highly recommend!

Great massage therapists, Ally Porter in particular is the best Ive ever had. I would highly recommend going to her if you have specific things you would like worked on. Shes very knowledgeable of the bodys muscles.

I purchased a Groupon for a Couples Massage today. I called and spoke with Margie to set an appointment for the 22nd of this month. She told me that they do not accept Groupons on weekends or holidays. I told her that it didnt disclose that on the website anywhere, in fact, it says that weekend appointments may be up to 3 weekends out. She told me to get a refund from Groupon and then call her back to set an appointment at regular price. I took a screenshot of the fine print from Groupon for you all to see. I am a very thorough person, especially when it comes to online shopping and I am certain the website does not include this information. Maybe its because I have a Spanish accent and this spa happens to be in a not-so-Hispanic area...??? Nevertheless, I will take my business elsewhere.

I have mixed feelings about this wellness center. Given my interactions with the manager Josh, just trying to get an appointment using a groupon, I was prepared to be disappointed. His energy is not a healing energy, he is unprofessional and hearing the way he spoke to one of his coworkers was a turn off. And then I had a microderm with Sue. She is amazingly talented, professional and caring. So despite my distaste for the manager, I plan to go back and see Sue for continuing services and would highly recommend her.

Such a great place to get a day of relaxation. The staff always helpful. I only go here for massages. Love it.
