Moroccan Hammam & Day SPA

Used a Groupon for a customized facial with microderm. It was okay. I wouldn’t pay full price to have another one here. I didn’t get any evaluation of my skin, no recommendations for skin care, no preparation of what was next or about to be used on me, massage or any of the treatments, facial portion didn’t include the décolleté, sub par aesthetician. I did used to be a licensed aesthetician, so I do know what to expect, a lot of people don’t, but there should’ve been a lot more here, like, a lot more. Pretty atmosphere, the music didn’t match what you expect to feel-the immersion into the specific region. Traditional music should be played. I can get the meditation channel at massage envy or anywhere else around town. I came here for the Moroccan experience.. Glad I got the Groupon.. pricy and would have been asking for a refund if I paid full price. This was supposed to grab my attention. Instead, I won’t be back.

Carolann was awesome. She worked out the knots in my neck and sciatica pain on my right side. Hilda massaged my husband. It was worth it. I got off the table feeling like a brand new person. Go here. You will not regret it. Also, this was our anniversary gift from us to us, so that was nice as well.

Absolute care with real First Class service! I got the Day at Morocco, and it was as fabulous as I could imagine! Beautiful surprises await you at every turn, and youll definitely feel transported! The days afterwards are like a dream, remembering the unique experience as if youve actually gone on a little vacation! I cant wait to go back for the next escape and renewal, to enjoy life to the fullest!

I must say I loved how the spa looked. The staff was very nice, I loved hamam experience , I loved the little room afterwards to have tea and sweets with my tea. The reason for 4 start instead of 5 is because lotion wasn’t put on the skin after all that exfoliation, so when I left there my skin was very dry and itchy, also I wish for the price of the service I would receive more comfortable softer shoes and robe 🙏 overall thank you for great experience

I recently visited the Moroccan Hammam & Day spa and was completely blown away with the services I received by Elizabeth. She was extremely knowledgeable about different skin care products and skin types. While performing the service she also advised me on the best products to use for long term skin care. If you’re looking for superb service in a relaxing crowd-free environment this is the place for you!!! High recommend and can’t wait for my next experience ❤️

I came here for a massage and facial. Started out with the massage and it was amazingly relaxing. Unfortunately when It was time for my facial immediately afterwards the esthetician was extremely talkative which was a huge contrast coming from such a relaxing service. Both services were great & both the masseuse and facial providers were nice but I wish this business took into consideration that some wish to relax 🧘 instead of chit chat. I would not have minded her talking about the facial/products she was using but she asked a lot of personal questions about whether I had pets and I guess she was an adopted Indian American girl so she wanted to know if I’ve ever tried Indian curry which I would have found appealing convo in another setting. Again, the girl was extremely nice and I felt comfortable! I would have enjoyed my spa day more if the massage came after the facial OR if the person noticed I’m not initiating rapid conversation, to match my energy instead of overstimulating me on a day intended for relaxation. 💆🏻‍♀️

I went here with my husband for the first time as a way to treat ourselves. We didn’t know what to expect since it was our first time. It exceeded our expectations!! We received the best massages! Emma was amazing, and got many knots out from my neck, back, shoulders. The salt scrub left our skin so smooth. We can’t wait to come back!

My facial with Jessica was absolutely wonderful! She was a skilled esthetician who made me feel completely pampered and relaxed throughout the entire session. Her expertise was evident in every step, from the soothing cleansers to the rejuvenating masks. The ambiance was serene, and Jessicas gentle touch and attention to detail made it a truly delightful experience.

Professional from start to finish. This spa has a great selection of massages and body scrub services. On this visit I did both a deep tissue massage followed by a steam and body scrub. This parring was a perfect combination for relaxation and melting any stress away. I definitely felt like a bowl of jello afterwards. To complement the treatment they had a lounge area for relaxing with hot tea and a cup of assorted fruit. This assisted in getting me hydrated and toxins out of the system. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

The products they use are very greasy and do not smell good. The woman who gave my facial had garlic for lunch... wow, it stunk! I left there with a headache and oily face.

I rarely take the time to leave feedback, but the exceptional experience at this spa has prompted me to share one. From the moment we stepped in, the attention to detail was evident, making it a memorable and delightful escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.I wholeheartedly recommend it, and I am already looking forward to our next visit, perhaps for Mothers Day.

The front desk deserves praise for their warmth and welcoming demeanor that instantly put us at ease when we walked in. The couples massage was truly amazing. Both therapists were skilled and tailored the session to our individual needs. The highlight of our visit was the couples body scrub. The exfoliation, coupled with a warm water rinse at the end was extremely relaxing and will be something we love to book again.

Just did a couple’s massage with ms Carol Ann and ms Emma. They did great and really kind staffs. I forgot to get the front desk person name but she didn’t try to sell us anything. They do their job with passion. I am a ticklish person but ms Carol Ann knew how to handle me.

Let me tell you something, I love this spa! Ive been a few times now and every time its amazing. I love the Luxury Detox Package or the Trip to Morocco package. The tea and treats, the massage are great. Everyone is so nice and professional. This makes for a great girls day as well. I cant wait to come back.

My first appointment was great. I got a massage from Heidi and she was kind and made sure I enjoyed the experience. It felt wonderful.I booked my 2nd appointment and unfortunately came down with a fever which ended up being strep throat. They are closed Tuesdays so I couldnt call ahead. So I called when they opened Wednesday to cancel and I was still charged with the service. As a healthcare worker it concerns me that they would not have a sick policy in place to protect their staff and other customers. Would they rather I not have called and come in sick and contagious?

I have taken my daughter for a spa day it was wonderful. I go monthly for a massage and facial, very relaxing. Great service.

Fantastic experience! Loved the facial/massage/hammam package. All 3 services were wonderful. The staff is very professional. They make you feel so comfortable. Really appreciated the fruit snack between treatments and the tea and cookies at the end. Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend. I didnt know what to expect because it was a present for my birthday. I honestly couldnt have asked for a better present. All the girls were amazing. I felt like a princess. I found the Hamman Scrub, body treatment below average, i wanted to love it but the scrubbing was irritating and the time in the steam room was stressful because the seats weren’t comfortable. The techs never asked if I was enjoying the experience, they just kept scrubbing. The treatment didn’t even smell good. It was just super disappointing, especially when I couldn’t even tell I’d had a treatment when I left. Overall the spa is nice enough, I just do not recommend the Hammam scrub. I also wish I would have been told to bring a bra/sports bra to wear for the treatment that would be soaked, and another to wear home

We recently visited for our anniversary and I must say we were relatively impressed with the ambiance and the overall spa experience. Id like to start off by saying the staff was very professional and accommodating. We received the Luxury Detox and the combined service was a great value. Due to scheduling conflicts, we both were unable to receive the one hour deep tissue massage. However, the staff was able to accommodate and my wife received a facial (Note: Per my wife, the facial table was hard and uncomfortable, however, the esthetician provided a great service.) If youre going to book, I recommend doing so in advance, especially if youre trying to book couple services.

Today I had my 3rd Hammam Treatment at this spa - and I must say they keep getting better and better! My treatment specialist Annalee was absolutely amazing. She is very thorough and catered to my individual preferences - which I appreciated. I know I enjoyed the other times I was there as well - but today I was in a completely different “zone” of total relaxation and bliss. If you have never had a Hammam treatment, you are in for an experience of a lifetime!! The spa is relaxing, professional and among the highest standards of luxury. This was a great experience! Very professional, clean, and relaxing. I have never received a Hammam treatment before and it was AMAZING! I have never felt more relaxed and my skin and hair have never felt so smooth!From the moment you walk in, from the time you leave, the vibe is very calm and soothing. This spa has the best packages in town, I’m totally obsessed 😍My husband and I drive all the way from St. Johns for this gem. We have tried the trip to Morocco, 2 hour escape and recently the luxury detox. Always an amazing experience with a very lovely staff. My husband surprised me and my friend with a royal Hammam treatment . It was AMAZING, best experience ever!. Since I’m from Morocco and know what Hammam and the culture of Hammam is because we go there once a week, I can say that it it is a first class spa treatment. Everything and everyone is so wonderful. All I can say is that is it is a little piece of Morocco, the peace, the beauty and the authenticity!! Highly recommended👌

My mother, sister in law and future sister in law went together for a shared spa experience and had an amazing time, they had us in a private room for chocolates and mimosas, and we each got a facial and a massage with the package that we purchased. I called far in advance to book the occasion and everything was very smooth, and was able to even call back later when I had more details about the individual services each party member chose. I am in my second trimester of my first pregnancy and had the prenatal massage, which I was very happy they offered so that I didn’t have to miss out on any of the spa day fun. This was honestly the best massage I’ve ever had, hands down. I don’t live in town, but will definitely be back for another prenatal massage during my pregnancy. All of my family members thoroughly enjoyed their experiences as well.

I don’t know where to begin with my phenomenal experience at the Moroccan Day Spa! Mary was so sweet to help me plan a surprise for my hubby’s birthday, we did the Hammam Hydrotherapy- it was worth every penny!! The spa was extremely clean and we really enjoyed the tea room afterwards! Make sure you book with Samantha!!! She was the BEST, so knowledgeable, professional, and has the magic touch!!

This is such a hidden gem in Jax Beach! My husband gifted me the hammam spa package and it was incredible- relaxing, soothing, detoxifying and pampering. Everything was well done, the facility is clean and the customer service is outstanding! I walked out like a new woman- exfoliated and refreshed! Easily the best spa in the area! Cant wait to try their other services!

This was the first time receiving a facial at this business. All I can say is that it was well worth it. Very clean, practicing Covid precautions as well. It was very relaxing and I am pleased with my results. I would highly recommend this spa, and I will be returning. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room to place my purse on, only noticed the hooks on the door. Thank you for my great experience.

Hands down far exceeded my expectations. Emma and Madison took care of me and I will be requesting them again for my next visit. My husband and I did the Luxury Detox. We started our experience our with a 1 hour massage. Emma, my massage therapist, had hands of a healer. She seriously took my lower back pains from me. Her pressure was perfect and technique showed her expertise! My husband’s massage therapist was so good that he was snoring next to me. After our massage, we went to the steam room for 30mins. The temperature in the steam room was perfect! After 15mins of being in the steam room, our therapists offered us cold bottled water. Yes, every details throughout our experience were very well thought of! After the steam room, we had a sea salt scrub with oil. Oh my goodness, Madison’s scrub down made my skin so soft… like a baby’s bottom soft. After the sea salt scrub we had a mud body wrap. We ended our experience with fresh fruits and warm tea. Perfect way to end our spa experience. Thank you to the ladies who took such great care of me and my husband!

Went in with my staff and it was very amazing experience. One thing I learned right away so well that the owner takes pride in everything that is so precise and meticulously planned. If anything that can make next client visit less will be less comfortable spots that means not a 100% perfect visit for next client may be some mechanical issue or some where where normal clients might not even notice but they will cancel rest of the appointments until the issue is resolved and I guarantee that you must reschedule but you will get nothing but genuinely best experience.Even every minute while you are in there they have it planned based on clients needs. I visited this place they know exactly client will feel thirsty and water bottle comes in and I was blown away with each and every one I saw more than 12 staff and not a single person had nothing but smile and waiting to hear what I was going to ask, everyone was such a soft spoken and genuinely courteous.When was the last time where you see someone who looks at you or talks and shows that. They not only smile but they care . Very well trained staff place works like well oiled machine. Seems like they all work very well together. So many things to list this will just go on. If you want something that’s good for your body this is the place. If you happen to be in Jacksonville or within 100 miles you must try this is one of a kind in whole Floroda. It is truly a hidden gem that you need to have in your bucket list. Lots of scrubs goes on deep cleaning your skin like someone giving you a really good shower washing all dead skins but scut Ei ally and organic and authentic way and opening all skin pores at least 80 buckets of hot water went all over on my body and I’m saying this oh boy, why I can not bring my loved ones here and show them how much I love them.If you didn’t get my message I will post another google review with pictures so you know what I’m talking about.Come in with some one that you want them to remember that day for rest of their life.

This is WELL worth the prices. Started out with an amazing salt scrub, facial and massage one at a time. Then, got the Hammam service. Sounds pricey until you do it, then realize you get SO Much for it. Love it!!! Its so luxurious and pampering. You feel like a goddess both physically and your skin to the touch when youre finished. Full body scrub process, steam room, body and face mask,hair cleansing. Tea room afterwards. Detoxifying all around. Im addicted!!!

I came here for the first time a few weeks ago and tried the steam room session as well as the deep pore cleansing facial, both services were divine.I left the spa feeling so relaxed and reborn again.Oh, and they have their own skincare line that’s made in Morocco that’s phenomenal.I purchased the Argan cosmetic oil, hair treatment oil, and the anti aging cream. I am very happy with the products and was pleasantly surprised how amazing the quality is compared to other professional brands.The facility was clean and the staff were polite and professional. We already made appointments to come back! :)

5 star service! Exquisite is an understatement! I found them on Groupon. You have to see this place to believe it. The staff treated me like a princess! This spa is so professional and Super clean. The ambience is on another level. Great skincare products. Royal Hammam is a celebrity-like experience. Never seen anything like it @ the beach. They treat you like royalty and exfoliate the skin (perfect 2 days before spray tan.) Then you relax in this cushiony tea room and they bring you water, juice, tea and yummy Moroccan cookies. Cant wait to go back.

This is more than. Just a spa, its a unique and amazing cultural experience. The Hammam can only be described as a bath of kings! (And I still dont think that really does it justice.) The facilities are emaculately clean. The staff are professional and incredibly friendly. The entire experience is first class... My wife and I had the couples Hamman package and were thrilled with everything.

The place is amazing, the relaxing atmosphere exceeded my expectations, the whole staff were amazing and welcoming.the facial that i have was incredible each detail was in its place, i would never give my face to anyone if it wasnt in Moroccan Hammam day and spa. Honestly the best spa I have ever been too!! They are amazing!!! They are generous, caring and super friendly. They take care of you and you just let go. I felt like I was not in Jax but on a distant world entirely. The most amazing thing they did that I will be forever grateful is that they brought me a small cake for my birthday. Even tho is was a few days ago!! Seriously. I’m a forever customer. See you guys soon!!

I can’t think of enough amazing things to say about my experience here. Everything was so clean and their COVID protocol was well followed. The Hammam experience was like none other. I would go back every week if I could! This is the ultimate escape. Great for a couple or friends- my mom and I can’t stop talking about it and will return very soon.Also I have to mention my facial by merriam. This was some Kim K style face exercising. I have never in my life had a facial so amazing. She slapped and patted and massaged ten years off of my face in 60 minutes.

Unfortunately I didnt love it. Heidi was wonderful and gave an amazing massage. The atmosphere is also very nice, but aside from that, my experience was just so-so.

All I can say is the experience was amazing from beginning to end. Everyone was so attentive and professional. I really needed a relaxing day and this spa exceeding my expectations. My masseuse, Vitaly gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. Then after I had the steam room, Himalayan Salt Scrub and Dead Sea mud body wrap. I felt like a new person walking out and my skin felt like silk. I can’t wait to go back and tell all my friends.

Ive been to several spas in the area and Hammam is my chosen! Everything is amazing, massages, facial (found my new esthetician) , steam room. All your needs in one! The customer service is amazing, they really make you feel like family and at home. Ive never been so comfortable at a spa. Takes me about 30 minutes to get there, but Ill take that drive everytime, just to have the Hammam Experience! Love this place, glad i found it! I had a wonderful experience start to finish! The spa is miraculously clean. The massage I got here is better than any one I’ve ever gotten. The sea salt scrub and mask wrap makes you’re body feel like butter when you’re done. This is a little gem in Jacksonville!

Impeccable service! Covid protocols practiced. My masseuse, Emma, was superb. Samantha, as my aesthetician, was phenomenal and provided an incredible experience during the hammam. My love bought me a christmas present for the royal hammam, followed by massage. In every way this place was TOP NOTCH and a TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience than I have ever had. To be gently washed, and roughly exfoliated, and then gently rubbed with clay; this was an experience I have never had and dont know where else one can have it. The bath-room and steam-rooms were exquisite in decor. The ambiance of the entire place was one of calming peace. To finish it all of with a relaxation room with tea and sweet treats was a wonderful and relaxing touch! Lastly, we were led to the massage room for a peaceful and skilled massage. This is a MUST DO! I also encourage it for couples as it is a bonding activity.

I have never done or seen anything resembling the hammam. It was so completely worth it. I have done tons of different spa treatments and never have I felt this impeccable after finishing. I cannot recommend enough!Love from Minnesota!

Wonderful experience with my friend. We did the couples royal hammam and it exceeded our expectations! Great girly time together, the ladies treating us were wonderful, and our skin feels wonderful.

EDIT: In response to the business’ reply - I’m not unhappy with the fact that I did not receive treatment, it was the extremely rude woman that confronted me after. Poor service because of her unkind and unprofessional attitude. Please address that.I did not receive the treatment so this is a review for the service. Upon arriving I was told that I could not have any of the treatments because I was pregnant. The website did not say to disclose that NOR does it say which treatments are not available for pregnant women. They also did not ask me when I called to make the appointment.I dont mind that they couldnt do the services. Thats totally ok, it’s their policy, it might not be safe.What was not ok was the extremely rude and unprofessional service that followed. I was told over and over that I should have disclosed it over the phone, “did you not see that we offer a prenatal massage?” She went on and on, making me feel worse. I was there to relax, I was disappointed that I couldnt have get any service done, and to top it off yes, Im pregnant. This really was no way to deal with the situation. So im sure their treatments are great, but the service was unprofessional and completely ruined my day for no good reason. She huffed and puffed while issuing my refund. The only person who dealt with the situation professionally was the lady at reception. I do not recommend coming here.

I’ve tried so many facials before here and none have ever been as good as at this place. Meriem always takes her time and does so much in one. Most facials rush you in and out but she does it all! I’ve recommended to my friends and family and they’ve all said the same thing, that this place gave the best facials they’ve ever had. Good price and amazing facial, you can’t beat that!

Liz was phenomenal!! Her hands were so incredibly soft and she provided so much release of tension that when I walked out it felt I had a massage . Her facial technique felt like a slice from heaven. She takes her time and really works on problem areas.

My wife and I did the Royal Hammam | Hammam Hydrotherapy as a couple. It was one of the most relaxing things either of us have ever done. If you have the funds, I highly recommend it.

I drove from Valdosta Georgia to Jacksonville Beach Florida which is two hours away to get it done (the Moroccan Hammam .) I like it and I will do it again and again . The truth is that My words will not be enough to describe my experience this place is the perfect spot for relaxing and real Moroccan Hammam.

My first time going to this place .Someone give me a gift card 100$ and after I check what they do I made an appointment for someone else and myself .I didn’t even check their spa policy .The girl that I spoke on phone she told me that she needs the card number to put on fileI arrived late about 20 minutesI call them twice and their phone goes straight to voice mail .When I arrive there , they told me that they can’t do the appointment and I lost my deposit money .When someone tells that you are a new customer , tell them your policy .Even it is at your website , some people don’t have time to look at it .Horrible customer service.
