Mask-Querade Bar

Mask Bar is always our regular hangout when we come to visit the Big Island. Super laid back vibe and every time we come here we end up making new friends. Very friendly crowd. The owner Brian tends bar most nights and he always points us to where the best places are to visit on the island.

Comfy and has a little bit of everything for everyone. Fun and welcoming. Ohana feel. Totally inclusive, warm fuzzy crazy. Pool, darts, eye-candy, intellectual, easy unassuming. Hostess with the mostest!

I was just learning my self the area. So decided to check out the Gay Bar. The bar man was so friendly. The atmosphere too is unexplainable. Amazing place to unwind, relax over a beautiful mellow music. Of course sipping and ice cold beer

Every time I go there its pretty much empty. I dont know when the bar gets busy, but its about 11:00 p.m. on a Saturday night and there was literally no one in there, but the bartender.. 🤷🏻

Fun local bar. Bartender was super nice and intro’ed us to trivia. Free candy for everyone. There were stockings up too. Felt like a nice local joint for anyone to come and be themselves.

What a dump, my partner, his best friend went in there on. Wednesday night; mind you I Am from nyc, capital of rude; this place does even add up. The bartender did not even acknowledge us. Please , please don’t go. My second time and the second time was even worst than the first time. Don’t set foot there. You want a place that’s accommodating go to the My Bar. Amazing service. You lost my business, my friends who will be coming to Hawaii we will not be going to the mask.

My girlfriend and I visited here on a Saturday night. It’s a local spot with friendly welcoming vibes. We played trivia, played songs on the jukebox and had inspiring conversations with other patrons both local and visiting. Can’t wait to come back again! Shout out to Mickey Lee 💖 and the bartender Bartender Brian.

A dark and intimate place with a gray happy hour! The bar tender was friendly and made great drinks.

I went here when I first came to the Island and didnt really care for it. My friend came to town and asked me to meet up with him and definitely glad I went. Very relaxed, the people their had very good energy to them and I fell in love with the trivia game. Good place to wind down after work.

We came in search of friendly gay fun and karaoke. There was none of either, the song we selected twice was incorrect and ended up being some Christian praise music. The bartender/karaoke DJ was unable to admit his or the equipments mistake and told us we did it wrong. This was after a few other songs were played on the jukebox while we all sat around waiting. We did get our dollar refunded only after we acknowledged the very obvious error.However, youre better off having a good time with yourself or your friends in an alley than you are going to experience at this establishment because they have little concern for you or your good time. The sound system is awesome great Beats awesome karaoke kick back relaxing atmosphere no pressure no worries no problems.

The bartender Patrick was fast at getting my friends and I our drinks. The music great all night, you just felt like dancing and celebrating. If your out of town visiting you must check it out, first. The local bartenders can tell you places to go, that will make your journey around the big island very special.

This place has it all! Darts, trivia, pool, local beers, olympics on TV, nice bartender who let us ruin the atmosphere by singing a terrible karaoke rendition of 9-to-5…

Alway have a good time there, nice friendly gay bar, Brian the owner always makes you feel welcome, bartenders pour a great pour, were beer drinkers they serve our beer in chilled glasses, every beer, karaoke, darts and pool all housed in a small bar, go enjoy it its a must!!!!!!!

Not a bad bar. Went on a Wednesday. Bar tenders very friendly, drinks are reasonably priced and karaokes great.
