Lighthouse Spa

My boyfriend and I had a couples session for spa massages and facials. The ladies working with us were extremely nice and respectful. We were rather early and they got us started right away.This was one of the best deep tissue massages Ive had. The room was clean; the aroma oils were just right; the background noise was nice and quiet -- overall a guinieunely relaxing experience.The parking is a little sparse and hard to navigate. The door isnt particularly noticeable either; we accidentally went in the salon before realizing the entrance was actually up some stairs on the other side of the building.

My mom and I are in town for vacation and decided to go here. We got the massage and facial package and it was great! Both our massage therapists and estheticians were so sweet and did an incredible job. My skin has never felt better and their products smelled amazing. I have very sensitive skin and usually get blotchy after facials and my skin didn’t react at all to their products at all.

My experience here was beyond wonderful. The masseuse and esthetician were both extremely skilled and so so sweet. I was so relaxed by the end of my session in fact that I accidentally left my necklace that I had removed prior the session and forgot to put back on before leaving. When I called the spa later that evening, the wonderful Yasf answered and told me that they had closed for the day, but he was personally willing to meet me there after hours so I could pick up my necklace that night since I would be leaving Hawaii the following morning! I retrieved my necklace and Yasf’s gesture made me feel so considered and cared for. These people really go above and beyond.

Excellent experience, began with a body scrub followed by a mud mask, massage and facial. Left feeling relaxed and comfortable. Would definitely visit again if I were to find myself in Kona. Thank you Lighthouse Spa and staff, you all were awesome!

Massage was average to below average for the price but the masseuse was nice. First we scheduled a massage at 5 and prepaid which is fine... Then they blew up my phone at 230 to come in earlier at 330 so we did. Had scheduled deep tissue but my masseuse said she wasnt strong enough to do that type so that was disappointing but it was still decent. When she finished, i dressed and came out of the room and she was gone. I waited around for about 15 minutes....nowhere to be found so I left some cash on the counter for a tip....an hour after I left they literally called me 5 times in a span of a 5 minutes asking for an additional tip...very annoying and rude.

Hands down the best massage I ever had, and I’ve had a lot. My now husband and I were at the island to elope. The next day after 17hrs of flying our bodies were exhausted and backs terribly in pain. We were getting married the following day. We called the spa very early in the morning, right about the time they just opened. The front desk person was very accommodating, polite and helpful. He managed on such a short notice to get in touch with the therapists and get us in. Pua, my massage therapist, was very professional and really Knows which points to work on and what pressure best suits. My husband had a massage with Lillian. It was such a wonder experience. If I lived on the island, I would definitely be a regular customer.

I paid for a deep tissue and all i got was elbows for 1 hours. She showed up 15 minutes late and just rub oil all over me and ran her hand over my body. Not a deep tissue. Its a rip off service. She doesnt need to be doing the deep tissue someone else should.

**updated 07/26/18**Ive decided this is part of every trip i make to Hawaii now. I was in on June 16, 2018 and Ciera and Lisa couldnt have treated me any more like royalty!! I swear, this spa is a slice a heaven!I visited Body Rhythms Spa for the first time on August 23, 2017, and had such a lovely, relaxing experience. I cant wait to get back ! I purchased The Lighthouse package. Lisa made me feel at ease and gave me my first experience with a body scrub and herbal wrap (LOVED!) as well as some excellent suggestions on local places to visit. Daisy took care of my massage and facial, which were both amazing. She did switch up the package a little..she did a Therapeutic massage, rather than a Swedish massage because it was really what I needed. Ive been struggling with chronic back pain for years, and after the long flight I really needed that massage. The experience was absolutely worth every penny, and Ill be doing it again next time Im there for sure. The location itself is also super cute, the inside is very tranquil and relaxing, we could smell the aroma of the herbal wrap as we were walking up the stairs and it got me so excited because I knew I made the right choice in spas. Do yourself a favor, check them out!!

My boyfriend and I were on vacation on the big Island in May 2016 and we got a couples massage at body rhythms. It was, we both agreed, the best massage we have ever had. The therapists were insightful, friendly, engaging and responsive. They took their time and we each had the aromatherapy treatment with the massage, facial, foot treatment and hot stones. It was an idyllic 2 hours and the atmosphere was perfect. We would definitely seek body rhythms out again next time we come to the big island!!

Lillian and April were amazing! Booked through the online booking - mobile site wasnt working and couldnt get a call through - got an appointment for the next day at the time that worked with our other activities. We arrived early and were greeted. Received a foot soak and massage and then proceeded to the couples room. They did amazing work and made sure that we were okay at every stage. So happy! Definitely will return and recommend!

I bought a couples massage for my boyfriend and I as a surprise and was so pleased with our service. It was calming, felt amazing, and loved the smell of the oils they used. At the beginning they asked if there were areas of pain we may have and then focused on them if yes. They also gave us small towels at the end to help remove excess oil before putting on our clothes.

One of the best massages either of us has ever had. We got a couples massage which included a mini-facial massage (total of 2-hours). Both Daisy and Lillian did a great job! Worth more than any other massage you could get at your hotel, worth the trip!

My therapist was lovely and helped my shoulder pain quite a bit. However, I was placed in the room at the top of the tower with no door and unfortunately two other therapists were holding a quite loud conversation about their personal lives in the main area below throughout the massage. They apologized after, which was nice - but it still took away from the experience. A shame but hopefully not an ongoing issue.

My wife and I enjoyed a joint massage and facial today. Wow! Daisy and April were gracious and consummate professionals who provided wonderful service and massages. This was a first-class experience and great deal. Highly recommend!!!Only issue is poor signage to find location:Owner simply needs to improve signage and tell guests to pull in at the building that looks like a lighthouse with anchors in front. I had to call 3 times to find it.Change the paint color on the sign on the building so that it can be seen from Palani; Current sign blends in with building. Add another sign with arrow at the street entrance and put another small sign at the landing of the stairs. Salon is on the top floor. Easy!

Terrible service! I received a wax from them and left with prices of wax still on me, redness and peeling skin. This has never happened to me from a wax before. Because of their mistake I was offered a free waxing service again, but when I called to retrieve I was told to wait and they would call me back. Shocker: THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I have absolutely no idea how these people have managed to receive 5 stars. Worst service I have EVER received. DO NOT come her for a wax!

Darlene was fantastic. It was such a wonderfully relaxing experience. I enjoyed every part. My skin and soul feel rejuvenated and amazing. Thank you! Will visit again when I’m town! This nurse needed a little pampering

The staff was friendly and I didnt feel rushed. My massage was heavenly! My daughter said she enjoyed it too! Great experience for her and I!!!

My husband and I just had a couples massage! It was amazing! We both felt so relaxed after... if we had to suggest maybe making the room a little darker.....the service was great though!

I met David and Angela when I came to Kailua-Kona to race Ironman Hawaii.I was a mess! My legs were tight with lots of adhesions, my shoulders were immobile, I was stressed out about the race and really needed some TLC and also some smart bodywork from somebody who knew their anatomy.David booked me, made sure everything was set up perfectly when I arrive, and then Angela worked on me several times during race week. She was incredibly intuitive and had me completely prepared by the time the race rolled around, with every muscle feeling good and doing what it was supposed to. Plus, both her and David are a pleasure to talk to and theyre very nice and trustworthy people.I *highly* recommend - not just for Ironman triathletes - but for anyone who wants a very good massage and an excellent experience.And by the way, I PRd at the race with a 9:36!

I had a really relaxing massage with a facial on very short notice. The hot stones were exactly what I needed to release some old stuff. Fully enjoyed the experience!

Went as two couples with parents. little apprehensive when first arriving. But ended up everyone enjoying their massage. The staff is very friendly

I was on vacation and in pain. I had Preston as therapist. He was the best. I had a wonderful vacation because of him. My pain has been minimal since.
