I been to the Webster location a couple times but I decided to try the League City location this time. OMG. I had the best massage I Ive ever had in my life. I was the last customer for the day, but John did an absolutely amazing job. I was so stressed before I came in, and felt like a completely different person when I left. The receptionist was amazing as well. She was very personable and sweet. All around great customer service with everyone. I will definitely consider getting a membership in the future.

I called out for my schedule on Thursday, the management and front desk had both reached out to me (Wednesday and Thursday) to confirm I’d be at work on Friday- I confirmed with both front desk and management I would be showing up to work on Friday- there was never a question about that as I only called out for Thursday. Management had instructed the front desk to call my clients for Friday and cancel. Not only did massage envy call my clients and lie to them telling them I would not be in for Friday, but they never informed me that they did so. So I drove to work, went to get my room ready and had to discover myself that I had zero clients on the books when I was originally fully booked. The owner and manager lied when I confronted management stating they were unaware why it how this could happen while in the same breath stating “we messed up” and the owner told me outright “there’s no guarantee we won’t call your clients to cancel them without your consent or informing you after the fact”. I have been working with massage envy since 2015 - I have n e v e r worked for one with such terrible business practices. Good riddance.

The massage and facial I had were great.It was a wonderful gift from my husband. I felt very relaxed and would love to do it again. The push to buy a membership is a little aggressive. I had stated a couple of times that I was not able to afford the membership at the time but I felt it was still being pushed on me.

Paul is masterful. If you need medical massage & want a chill atmosphere, hes your go to. Front desk staff was professional & efficient. Loved to space. Very peaceful & calm.

I was scheduled for a 90 minute massage with summer. I asked for a firm massage but ended up getting a light massage. Really disappointed honestly because I have a lot of knots and sore muscles. I also thought it was weird that they don’t provide water bottles at least for before or after the massage. I’m going back in August and scheduled with someone else so we will see how that goes.

My last 4 appointments summary, first 2 were call offs last minute. Then third appointment therapist shows up 18 minutes late, and no word to me. Today late AGAIN. To me it’s unacceptable to run a business like this. The staff is great at making you feel comfortable, well not me.

Huge rip off, buyer beware. The credits you pay for are not yours to use after you cancel your contract. AND to cancel your contract, which is a year you have to pay.The contract automatically re-news indefinitely. If you do not make sure that all of the paperwork has been processed by your original place, you are still on the hook. They can keep the $350 of credits I lost… good riddance😡

So to ensure that people wanting to book with this location, know that the 1 star reviews are Real, Ill add mine.I have been a member of this location for 10 years! Yes, ten years. I had over 65 unused credits due to COVID and medical injuries over the past few years. I made several requests to put this account on Hold due to this issues in 2023.Fast forward to today, starting from the inital 5 seconds of the phone call, the Assistant Manager answered the phone and, in a demanding tone, stated curtly, please hold, twice in a row. Since there was not a hello, or a request to her tone, I didnt think that answering a statement was required. So, when she said it the 3rd time, she included, are you there, and I said yes. Then she proceed to put me on hold for 12 minutes. When she returned, again, this is the Assistant Manager, I know because she felt the need to inform me several times. Not her name, just her title, she didnt mention anything about the hold time, or greet me with any sort of customer service. When I realized that this was going to be a conversation with someone who I did not think would help, I quickly went through my issue, and requested to speak with the Manager or the Franchise Owner. Since I knew my issue had a certain level of ownership to get my request processed, and she made it VERY CLEAR she was not going to take the time to even listen to anything about my problem, I stated this. since you dont get paid enough to handle situations like these, please have your Manager get in touch with me.So you might as, Why would I say something so blunt or , what this person obviously felt was extremely rude like that? Well, thank you for asking. At this point in time, Ive been on this call for 15 mins. 12 of the minutes on hold, the other three, Listening to an uncaring , condescending person, roboticly state information that was factual, but not once asking how she can help. Taking the 90 seconds to go over, and repeat several times, things about my account, but , again, not once asking how can I help?So, since she make it clear that the roles and responsibilities of the position she holds doesnt require her to ask the simple question, How can I help? , I felt the statement I made gave the right amount of insight into the time I was wasting, and just wanted to get to someone that can help.So, she stated that she would reach out to her manager and her Franchise Owner, explain to them how I approached her, and see if they would call me back, or just push this back down to the Manager or Assistant Manager, her.When I stated that I was concerned and taken aback about her use of the word Approuch, and asked why she used that particular word.She stated, she was offended by how I stated something about her pay. Not understanding or recognizing how she hadnt taking ANY responsibility of a single aspect of her unbelievably rude, condescending behavior, nor her professionalism that lacked any form of customer service.When I mentioned the multitude of actions that lead up to my decision to not engage with her due to her lack of customer service or managerial abilities, she got angry, told me that she would tell her Manager and hung up the phone.So, as a customer for ten years, yes, ten years, dealing with over two or three DOZEN team members and managers over that time, this was by far the worse. I would have never expected this type or level of unprofessional behavior from a Texas location. I currently live in Los Angeles, but kept my membership there for ease. This entitled lack of professionalism is rampit here in the City of Angeles , but very surprising that this is sometime that is accepted in Houston.So, Jane, Franchise Owner of this location, I believe was the name that was given by the Assistant Manager, if you are available, please reach out to me as the so I can find out what happened to my request to hold my account. I know that based on the 5 star reviews, that you will take the time to reach out and help bring this issue to a resolution.

Have reached out several times and am being ignored. I am looking to cancel my membership and they will not reply to me. Do not recommend signing up for their membership because they won’t let you cancel.

I was booked for a deep tissue massage with Clarisa S. It was the best massage. I work out a lot thru the week. Clarisa really gets the knots off. I look forward to my next massage. It was awesome.

Although my fiance wasnt very happy with his massages I was incredibly happy with mine. Curtis focused on my head first because I mentioned a migraine and it helped me feel more comfortable during the rest. He is the only massage therapist that has been able to go anywhere near my feet without me kicking, he was attentive to my needs and wants, and over all, it felt like he put care into my massage. Highly recommend him any day!

Tori did an amazing job on my facial. However, this location has a broken steamer that didn’t work throughout my visit. Despite the non-working steamer that goes with the experience, my credit was still used and still charged full price. Next time I schedule I will make sure to call ahead for them to get the steamer that actually works.

Booked an appointment for a massage that was desperately needed. Gave updated phone number, verified they had correct email address. Walked in day of appointment to be told it was canceled. They said they tried calling and texting, but they were using the old phone number, not the updated one. I received nothing until I left the building. Then, I received an email stating my appointment had been canceled.I am VERY disappointed with the overall experience with the Bay Colony location.Will not be returning to Massage Envy and will instead return to the Spa & Wellness Clinic in League City.

The front desk lady was helpful, very attentive. She helped me right away.Gladys was my massage therapist , she was fantastic, took care of me immediately. The room was clean, the experience was calm, serene and very relaxing. Totally recommend it!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful first time experience at this Massage Envy location. Frank helped work through a lot of back, neck, and shoulder pain and was extremely professional. Ladena and Ciara at the front desk were so helpful and understanding. They ensured my visit was nothing but top notch. Additionally, I couldn’t help but notice Ladena’s calm and hands on approach to training employees. I can’t wait to return soon!

Had my first massage at this location yesterday. I have to say the service was amazing. Miss Emily was really awesome. It was a very calming and unique experience for those who are needing a good massage in the League City area. Please check them out. They are really good.

Let me start with Ive never had a professional massage before. I was gifted a 1 hour massage at Massage Envy, and it was the best experience, cant even describe how amazing it really was! Everything from the initial scheduling of the appointment, to the time walking out was incredible! The front desk staff are so friendly and informative, and fun! They explained what we were receiving, what we could do to enhance the experience, and gave suggestions based on what we told them, and what they actually like personally! We did a couples massage, so basically just both of us in the same clean, relaxing room, not weird or awkward at all! I had the privilege of getting a top notch deep tissue massage from Amy, and she is simply amazing! She explained things first, then made sure I was comfortable with the pressure the whole time. Not only did she give a great massage, but along the way she found potential problem areas and actually worked them out! She showed such care, it was really amazing because I thought the person massaging would just go through the motions and thats not the case with her at all! She made recommendation to come back in 2- 3 weeks and I am definitely doing it! Julian did the massage for my girlfriend and she said he was awesome as well! The place is so clean and comfortable, it really makes a difference! Thanks Amy, I am hooked for sure and recommend anyone reading this to request Amy because she said she has been doing this for years, and it definitely shows!

David is beyond exceptional! He is very knowledgeable, professional and skilled. He really understands the body and knows all the trigger points well. I’ve been a massage member for over 15 years, he’s the best therapist I’ve had!

I had been having some severe upper back and neck pain for over a week that has prevented me from being able to sleep and has been overall very uncomfortable. I tried everything and was about to schedule an appt to see a Dr since the pain was getting unmanageable at night. I decided to try a massage before I schedule a Drs appt and got a 90 min massage with Summer yesterday and slept like a baby after that! The pain is 90% gone! :)

My first time with Joey was awesome! His hands are magical! I walked in stressed, but walked out feeling refreshed and light. I will definitely be back to request him! Thanks for making me feel comfortable, as this was my first time having a man massage me.

Bay Colony has become my go-to location. Much more reliable experiences as compared to the Clear Lake location.David did a wonderful job! Focused on areas we discussed, did some mild stretching, and overall left me feeling much better than when I walked in. Ill definitely book with him again!

Gladys was wonderful, the ambiance was very relaxing, the pressure she applied was literally perfect, the areas she focused on provided much relief, and I will definitely be choosing her again in the future. Thank you for the positive experience!

Nick is fabulous! He is always professional and is extremely skilled. My workouts are intense so my body requires adequate recovery. Nick is capable of a true deep tissue massage and is able to work the muscles so that can heal properly. He adds value to Massage Envy by providing this recovery service. I have been a member for 15 years and would recommend him as one of the better masseuse I’ve had in the long tenure I’ve been with Massage Envy.

First time visit! I was able to get in with Missy and she was amazing and completely knowledgeable about my muscles. That was extremely helpful so that I know where my issues are and I can be proactive in my treatment. Loved this place, everyone was very friendly. Definitely recommend Missy!

They are the worst. I scheduled a couple massage for my anniversary, they canceled my appointment without notifying me. I confirmed with text message and called 2 hours early to make sure they don’t spoil my special day! They are the worst. Stay away is you can. Massage heights is much better across the street. These people were not even willing to make any accommodations. Go to any massage spa but beware and stay away from massage envy league city.

I tried a new therapist, Jenn G., and I’m so thrilled that I did. I’ve been getting massages for 25yrs and I can tell right away when it’s a seasoned and professional therapist. Jenn did not disappoint. From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out the service was amazing. She was very intuitive and put me at ease so well. I had a stroke 3yrs ago and no one has been able to touch my “stroke foot” and Jenn not only did; but was effective without causing pain at all. Today there’s a noticeable difference. I could go on and on, but I won’t because I did the best thing and made myself another appointment for a week later and then another following. I feel that Jenn will be a healing and worthwhile investment in my health.

If you want an amazing deep tissue massage, Ali is back. Highly recommended. I have missed her. I have already booked my husband and my next appointment. She works weekends yeah!!!

I called the day prior and was scheduled with Gizelda for a 90 minute schedule. She was attentive to my needs and gave a great massage. She talked if I wanted to talk, then when I was ready to soak up my massage and relax, she was quiet. Thanks Zelda, I’ll be back to see you.

The staff was awesome and Paula was great! She really focused on the areas that really needed relief and applied the right amount of pressure. The price was reasonable and I recommend Massage Envy to anyone who liles great service. Cant wait for my next visit.

Had my first facial with Chelsea- she is awesome! Very knowledgeable about her work and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Also had a 60 min massage with Veila- she was great! Worked on all my problems areas that were giving me trouble, I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep. I would recommend these two ladies anytime and will be rebooking with them soon

Ang was very knowledgeable and professional. She gave one of the best facials I’ve ever had. I felt like a new person and so refreshed. She gives a really good massage as well. She’s definitely missed her calling. You haven’t had a facial until you’ve had one from her.

Marika has been my Massage Therapist for several years now, and every session with her is a 10/10! She is truly amazing at what she does. Her bedside manner and massage technique is superb, and she helps me to relax and feel less stressed during and after each session! I always leave feeling refreshed and renewed! The facility is also clean and welcoming.I recommend Marika to any and everyone looking for some self care from a top notch licensed massage therapist!

I wished David would have spent more time on the area I had specified was my problem. He did a good enough job. I feel ME pricing is out of my budget. Also, when I checked out, I felt a little pressure to leave the “standard” tip of $20….I don’t even tip my hairdresser I’ve been going to for 10 years. With all the other inflation and economic uncertainty, I think a $20 tip for a 1 be service was a bit excessive. I think I can find another massage facility more within my budget.

I asked for a massage to help with sciatic pain. I was told I needed to stretch and change my lifestyle. She said it in a nice way, however she would not stop talking about it. At the end of my hour my back did feel better but zero help with sciatic pain. I have cone back to massage envy in and off for years and I try to like it, but I have never gotten a good massage and massage therapist.I come in cause Im hurting, and want to relax, but I end up leaving still hurting and more stressed. As a working mom its hard to carve out time for myself , and its very frustrating to not get what you ask for. So now I have paid lots of money sacrificed time with my husband and child, left more stressed than when I arrived, and still have sciatic pain... so it was all for nothing.Just very frustrated and disappointed.

I have never been to a massage envy, felt very comfortable. Joey did an awesome job, very professional. I will be back to a massage Envy when I go home to Idaho and see how they do there. If they do great there then I believe I have found my place to go!! Thank you.

Joey was amazing! He asked what area I needed targeted and he did not fail to focus on it. He also recommended stretches and other things I can do to help my back. He took the time to explain and I felt great leaving the massage. I highly recommend Joey and will be coming back to him!

I have been a Massage Envy member for over 16 years. Nick is by far the best massage therapist I have ever had at any of the locations I have visited. I was completely stressed and I carry that in my shoulders, neck and back. Nick really worked those areas and I felt so much better after my appointment. I have already scheduled my next 2 massages with him!

I got a lovely facial from Frances yesterday. She took time to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. My skin feels great! She had such a soft touch. I enjoyed every minute of the 60 minute session. I will be returning monthly to get a facial from her !

I really enjoued my visit today at Message Envy with Katrina providing excellent service. She is very experienced in finding the problem areas and providing a deep tissue message as needed. My appointments will be with her as long as needed. I felt much better when I left. Katrina keep up the good work!

After my previous masseuse left I was super bummed. Then I scheduled an appointment with Joey. He was extraordinary. He helped get knots out of my shoulders that have been there for years. I cant wait to schedule my next appointment with him. I havent felt this great in years.

This was my first time there… My masseuse was great! But my time was cut 14 minutes short because i was called to the back late. I didn’t get a full body massage (not sure why because I did add in the chart they asked me) but the area that he did do was amazing! That alone is really a 5 star and he is very talkative and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Will come again but will communicate my expectations better 😊

It was definitely overall a good experience to be there for the first time. The only thing was the massage wasnt a full hour we started 10 minutes late into it but we sure stopped at the time we should have if we had started at 8.

Zelda did an amazing job at getting the knots out of my back and neck. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and really listens to what the client wants. The girls at the front desk are super nice and helpful. Great experience—can’t wait to go back!!

Run fast from here! We signed a monthly contract to use our Health Savings Account (HSA) card from our insurance. Two months later I got a call from the store asking for another credit card. When I asked why, they stated the policy changed and they no longer accept HSA cards. I told them no, I would not give them a credit card and cancel my account.Fast track to 6 months later, my husband looked at his account, and they got his credit card (from a previous transaction) and charged his card twice a month.The Manager stated I gave them permission to use the card. NO WAY! They lie, and they stole my husbands credit card. They refuse to speak to me, and said Prove it, that we stole itRUN! RUN! RUN! Any credit card given to them to make a purchase remains in their system, all the employees have access to your credit card.

Therapist Clarissa and Marika are FABULOUS! They work to make the customer happy and always go beyond the expected in their performance. They are the absolute best!Lacey the manager goes above and beyond to get your appointments when you request them, she is the BEST!

Great massage. The therapist is well trained and easy to feel comfortable with . I was able to relax.Clarissa is the therapist I use on a regular basis. She knows my back and neck are my trouble spots. I always feel relaxed and ready to tackle the day.

Clarria was wonderful. My first time with her. My daughter has beening seeing her for a couple of years though. My daughter treated me to a couples message and wanted me to see Clarrisa and scarficed her message to see someone else. My only issue is our appoint kept canceling at the last minute 3 or 4 times so it took 4 months to get the appointment between Clarrisas schedule and ours.

While the massage was very pleasant, the massage therapist never stopped talking during the session about her personal life. I would like to have had a quiet time during my massage. Especially as it was the first time Ive had a good massage in years.

I have had Emily as my masseuse for months and has proven to be very consistent and thorough. I always am more relaxed after shes done her magic . Thank you Emily.

The studio is always spotless and the office staff is friendly and accommodating. I have seen Zelda, my favorite masseuse, for a few years. She is skilled and sensitive to my personal needs during a session. I highly recommend her and this location.

Edit 9/2/22. Clairissa was very through and professional. She added extra hours to her day on an upcoming appointment because 1 hour wasnt enough for her to get some of my issues worked out from my last back surgery. So... tomorrow she has a full schedule but she added me and all my issues to the end of has to be a very long day. I appreciate her professionalism and desire to help with my wellbeing. Going the extra mile matters. 5 StarsPrevious review... The massage therapists are generally very good. The reason for the 2 stars is that they have very few slots available. Im not really able to make an appointment for 3 days from now due to my schedule. I currently have dozens of hours available on my membership that I dont or cant use because 9 times out of 10 you cant get even an hour on the same day.

Always love my massages with Gladys at Massage Envy:) She is the best! I won’t go to anyone else. That’s not to say there aren’t some other good massage therapists there , it’s just that Gladys takes her time, has a wonderful personality, and enjoys her job. She exhumes positivity, and I just love her!

Amazing!! I’ve been to this location a couple of times in the past. This was my first session with Zelda. It was the best massage I’ve ever had. She listened to my problem areas and I feel so much relief! 10/10! I’ve already recommended family to get a massage from her! Amazing!!

I have never had a bad massage however some are better than others. Michelle takes the experience up to the top. She is quite skilled in easing the tension from sore tight muscles and her presence is very calming on her mind. I say none better.

Ms.Samantha did great! She was very nice and consistent with the pressure, told me the reasonings behind why my muscles were so tense. I enjoyed talking to her, and also liked the massage! I would recommend Massage Envy!

I was bummed because all my “regular” therapists were booked. So even though I had never had Joey as a therapist, I appointed with him. He did not disappoint. He listened to my needs and gave a great massage. Thanks, Joey!

My husband and I came for our anniversary and had a couples massage and I would definitely rate 10/10. A wonderful time to relax and have peace for an hour. For the price it was not bad at all! We will definitely be coming back soon.

I’ve never had this sort of massage from anyone else! Chito is very thorough. He communicates very well. Helps me feel at ease and that is better for relaxing. He always ask if there is something he should focus on. He asked if it was a good experience. He shows me every time that he genuinely cares about the massage and how it works out for me

David is professional, very knowledgeable, and super easy to talk to. You feel like he really hears you and not only addresses your issues yet also ensures your happy with the results. And also very willing to give you at home remedies as well . Great experience every time!

Velia was amazing. I usually dont feel like I can fall to sleep while getting a massage but I did. It hurt in a good way but was relaxing also. I have already scheduled for a 90min massage with her in two weeks.

Clarissa is by far one of the best message therapists at the Bay Colony location. She is very polite and professional. I really enjoy her relaxation messages and that she doesn’t hesitate to get any tight knots out. I highly recommend her for your next message.

When you be visit the Bay Colony location, book your appointment with Velia! I don’t even have to tell her where I’m hurting or where I need the most work done, she knows! I am always relieved of pain & feel very relaxed after each visit.

I always enjoy my visits to Massage Envy. I always feel rejuvenated when I leave. Michelle did a great job, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The staff is always nice and professional at the Bay Colony location.

I want to begin by stating that my rating above is purely based on this one experience. If I were going to rate the past experiences put together, I would rate them 4 stars. I never had problems with Massage Envy in the past, however, I had a frustrating experience trying to cancel my membership. Last week I had called to cancel my membership, and the receptionist told me I would need to cancel through email. She never gave me an email address, so I assumed an email would be on the website. I could not find an email anywhere on the site, so I messaged customer service stating that I needed to cancel and couldnt find an email address in hopes someone would contact me. I never received a response from them, and today I received a text stating another month was withdrawn. I called the location I generally went to and spoke with a manager who stated I would not receive a refund. She did not explain why, but she did give me the email address. The reason I am so frustrated is because I have many financial responsibilities right now. I would much rather have the money they automatically took out than to have the one hour or 90 minute massage. I am not upset with the individual people. Everyone was respectful to me. I am, however, very frustrated with the company and how they run. I do not understand why I can not get a refund. That does not make sense to me.

The location was hot (A/C not working well) in the building and in the massage room making my massage very uncomfortable. My masseuse spent almost the entire hour on my back and about two minutes on my shoulders (face up) which is where I said I wanted him to concentrate as that is where I carry my stress.With that said, the front-of-house staff was great and very polite.

WOW!!! David is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I have broken my collar bone 3 times and never had physical therapy. He not only did an amazing job on releasing the painful tension that ran do2n to my hand, but also gave me a racket ball and showed me different stretches I can do to help! Completely recommend him!!

I went in for a chemical peel. Frances was an amazing esthetician. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back to see her for all my facial needs.

Julian at Massage Envy in League City is so wonderful at his job, my experience was like none other and if I had a choice he would be my personal therapist forever lol! He’s so awesome at his job and has excellent service. Best massage ever and I’ve been getting massages for 18 years now!

I love the convenience of scheduling myself. And Kevin is the best. He is very skilled in pain relief and relaxation. I’m hesitant to put his name out, I want to still be able to book with him.

This was the very best massage I’ve ever had. I suffer from chronic migraines, so neck, head & shoulders is always an important part of a massage for me. I woke up today headache free thanks to her technique and thoroughness. Zelda is a master of massage!

I made an appointment specifically with Suzanna for 30 min. massage. Elvira showed up to do my massage. She was unaware that I was booked with Suzanna. I found out from the front desk that Suzanna had an emergency and she was not there. I was NOT CALLED in advance of this situation and I was not notified when I checked in. But when asking at the front desk I was told they just placed me with another therapist. At that point I was told by Elvira that she could not do a full body massage, not enough time. She did not ask if I had any problem areas and did not focus on my back as I asked her. The entire visit was extremely unprofessional. The front desk checkin and checkout was very unorganized and extremely unprofessional. Never once did anyone apologize for the situation. This location is not what it used to be.

The reception lady was nice when I went in and booked and asked to transfer my services to this location after many problems with their other locations. The day of my massage about an hour before they called me and told me it wasn’t possible and they were going to charge me non member prices. Asked for the manager/owner to call me and have reviewed no calls.

Michelle is an amazing technician. The best massage I’ve had I a long time - she really helped in some sore areas on my shoulders and neck.

I am 36 weeks pregnant. I called on a Friday to book a 2 hour prenatal massage for the next week, they confirmed it. I got a text message the day before saying 60 minutes, I called at 8:20am to make sure it was not an error and 2 hours was still in place, they said it was. At 6:19pm that same day I received a phone call from receptionist saying massage therapist (Jen) only wanted to do 1 hour because she did not think I would be comfortable on my side for 2 hours. Mindless I sleep on my sides, and my high risk ob had no issues with the idea of me getting a 2 hour prenatal massage. I asked if we could still keep the 2 hour and we could end early if I decided I was uncomfortable. Still a no go. I told them to cancel and I would go to another location. I booked at the Webster location with no issues. I’m not sure what the huge issue was with scheduling the 2 hour with jen was... maybe she wanted to get off work at 5pm instead of 6pm, but I found it to be incredibly unprofessional, an inconvenience and a waste of my time.

Great massage from Jimmy, he did a great job with my deep pressure massage. Very relaxing after a long work week. He was very informative as to what supplements I should take for my muscle tension. Missy was out of the bat asked my preferred pressure and if it needs to change then let her know. She did a great job relieving tension and stress. She did some deep tissue where was needed without me asking which is huge deal.

I wouldnt have given even one star but it gave me no other choice! The service is terrible here! Immature incompetent staff, and dont note down your concerns or requests. I made an appointment with a specific individual, confirming the appoint with the same individual, only to be switched up last minute for another therapist who was the EXACT opposite of what I wanted.Jane Lawrence, the franchise owner, made me feel bad about me complaining about the horrible service. She did not pull me into the office and I had to argue my point out in the full lobby! She offered another appointment at the introductory rate but not my original request of an hour and half. They later did change that because I continued to argue my point.I was supper upset, felt bajared, embarrassed and apparently didnt remember the new appointment date correctly, throw in a NOBODY BOTHERED to do a REMINDER call and I miss the new appointment! Get told they are going to charge me for the time! Unfreaking believable!I am going to follow up with Corporate, these people do not deserve the franchise name!

Massage therapist was great.Need to get rid of the information that says you need to sign in on your phone and then wait for the receptionist to tell you to come in. I was there 15 minutes early for my appt. Finally texted saying should I come in and they said yes after I had waited in my car for 18 minutes. My therapist was ready and looking for me. My massage started late. I now know to ignore that message stating wait in the car, but I hadn’t been in for a massage in a while.

I had a problem with my membership and the ladies at Bay Colony fixed it promptly. My therapist Velia listened to my concerns and addressed them during the session and explained to me what I needed to work on to get me feeling better. Thanks guys! Can’t wait for my next appointment 😊

Please beware of this location! My wife was under contract with them and when the contract finished she still had 3 credits remaining. So we decided to use them towards a couple massage. When we returned (after she did not renew her contract) this center took away her credits and wouldn’t give them to her. The assistant manager was very rude and made us feel like we were trying to just get a free massage. This center has decent massage therapist but horrendous front desk staff and management

I just bought a membership in June and Booking is always easy and same day appointments available after work hours. Nicholas just made me feel like I cheated on my husband!! I highly recommend him for neck/back!! Bravo Nicholas!!! Music in the room sucks. Should let clients pick or play pandora.

Had a great facial, but ended the experience feeling frustrated because I felt like I was being hounded to spend more money. As if a $95 facial isn’t expensive enough, I was asked about 5 times to start a membership, and the girls at the front kept asking me to buy more products (I was already spending over $90 on stuff recommended by the esthetician) so that I could get the gift box. It’s as if they won’t take no for an answer. Not the kind of experience you’d want people to have when trying to do something to relax and unwind.

I have been going here for a while now and I enjoy the massages I get from here. The most exceptional massage I got was from bambi. I highly recommend her. She is wonderful. I will be exclusively going to her from now on. I have major knots and she went above and beyond with taking care of all my concerns and relieving major shoulder pain.The front desk girls are wonderful and welcoming. I always enjoy how nice they are.I will say, I did not enjoy the microdermabrasion experience I received today. I have never had a facial before, but I saved up two credits to receive the microdermabrasion. As soon as the process began, cleaner got in my eye and it stung the rest of the appointment. At the end of my facial my skin was very very oily. Usually I have dry skin but this oil would not absorb at all. When I got home I had to wash my face to get the soap out of my eye and the oil off my face. My skin actually looked worse. Would not reccomend..

DO NOT GET MEMBERSHIP WITH THEM. I needed a prenatal massage back in the day and i made a mistake of agreeing for membership . When I no longer needed coming back every week I found out I couldnt cancel itThen I froze it for 6 months, after they charged me first time.and I made it clear I wanted to get it frozen for 6 months again. On the phone manager told me she will send me email that I need to confirm . I did. They charged me again month after, even though it supposed to be frozen. Right now Im struggling financially and I wasnt ready to deal with it again. Policy of this is scam and they dont warn you of how hard it is to get rid of them

Was given an hour massage by my daughter for mothers day. Check in was 15 minutes before appointment and wasnt called in until 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled and then only received a 40 minute massage.Very disappointed

Mom comes in town from Dallas a week later and they had her scheduled for a massage instead. People working desk were zero help and Mothers Day present ruined. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Hard to make appts, always in a hurry and then cannot help with changes. But, quick to make sure they keep collecting monthly paymentsOh, they wake up and stay on top of it if it means money. When you answer what the problem is, the manager/owner states in certain terms that it isnt true what you have reported. Dont they care or wonder why you would have over 14 hours on books but havent used them? If I cancel, they wont let me use ALL of the time I have already purchased, so I keep it. Just awful. I am looking into Massage Heights.

This was the first time I can honestly say I was very disappointed with a massage. I am a frequent massage client in many locations, I have been down in Galveston and wished to get a massage and thought I would give Massage Envy at try. Me and my fiance went in he had never had a massage by the way and has some health issues I was very excited because I got a couples massage, I expected a lot more from a couples massage possibly in acting between the couple which Ive had couples massages before and never had this experience where nothing was said nothing was done nothing at all was to make it a couples massage. But more concerning to me than that was the fact that I felt as though nothing was addressed my back wasnt even rubbed at all at the lower part parts of my body never touched my upper thighs were never touched. More time was spent putting on oil then giving me any type of massage there were parts of my body would never ever addressed whatsoever. I gave them no specific areas to work on so that I can see what their full body massage would be like. And my fiance of course he doesnt know really what to expect that he felt the same way. I would never go back to Massage Envy at least at this location! If I were able to Id give them no stars...

5 is GREAT! Because of Emily and the front desk last night, the courtesy and looking out for me as a customer is why I decided to join back with message envy.

This was my 1st time ever getting a massage and it was awful. I told them i wanted to focus on upper body, arms, & feet, but for some reason he focused on my head and face for a good 30/40 mins.(i never interrupted him bcuz again this was my first time and i figures he knew what he was doing) My massage therapist actually seemed as if he had no idea what he was doing, at one point i looked up and his eyes were closed. He coughed and sneezed several times & never bothered to sanitize his hands in the midst of this. When the lotion was applied it was never evenly distributed so some parts he was literally rubbing over dry skin. There were also parts where he was massaging my back thru the cover.When i called later today to tell them how poor my experience was they told me i could come back and do a complimentary “redo” but then i was later contacted by someone else stating that corporate decided I’d have to pay once again. At this point I’m completely dissatisfied with the service, & their lack of rectifying the situation. At this point I definitely will not be returning and will recommend any family and friends against Massage Envy Bay Colony

Very disappointing massage service, did not feel listened to as my areas requested and type of massage was not provided. Seemed untrained all together as well as unfriendly and cold.

I come here about once a month. David is the best. He always does a full body and works on my problem areas. He also helps with a stretch plan that fits for my body when I wake up in the morning. Hes professional and has the perfect pressure for me. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I explained that I had been in a wreck about a month & a half ago when I called to make the appointment. I explained my injuries & I was put on hold. After the hold I was given an appointment & after arriving, filling out paperwork & essentially wasting my time I was told they couldnt give me a massage. The girl spoke with the manager & came back and told me they could give a limited area massage. I left after demanding they reimburse me for my time & gas. I will be calling & talking to corporate about this franchise. Complete incompetence & disrespectful.

Probably the worst massage I have ever received. At the beginning I even considered to asking the massage therapist to stop and refund me my money. The therapist I was assigned (Naomi I think, or something to that effect) didnt seem like she knew anything about the body. It was honestly as if she had never performed a massage before. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

David K is the best. He always helps me with any aches or pains and does a great job of explaining what could be causing it or how I can work out the muscle. I recommend him to anyone.

I used to have to get massages twice a month, well not anymore because Quinton is AMAZING! A friend of mine actually told me about him. He is a miracle worker. He has introduced me to Trigger Point and I am so glad he did. I havent felt this great in years. I now only need massages about once every 3 months but i like to go more just so he can work his magic. If you havent tried it GO! You definitaly will NOT regret it.
