I found The Now on Yelp. Alisha was my amazing therapist and I’m still basking in the glow! I don’t even live locally but if I did, I’d join this spa. As it stands, I set up my next appointment before I left. Thank you, Alisha, the greeters, and The Now.❤️

I booked a massage for my wife as a birthday gift so I did not personally experience it myself but I can definitely say that she absolutely loved the experience! Id also like to thank the team for their patience and kindness for helping me throughout the process. I had been searching for the right massage establishment and I had made various calls to the NOW to walk me through the whole process and they answered every question I had so kindly and I cant thank you all enough for that! It made the process a lot easier and I will definitely be returning, as well as, recommending the NOW to all friends and family :)

Tatiana was an amazing therapist. She added cupping to my massage, which was a great addition. The flow of the massage was nice and relaxing, and I especially enjoyed the sounds of the ocean in the background. The spa had a nice and relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

Diane was amazing!!I was gifted The Stretch 80 + Eye Mask for completing my first marathon and wowowow. She rebooted me to factory settings for sure.Diane has also run marathons before so she knew exactly what I needed. It was helpful she could empathize and focus on the parts of your body that get wrecked the most (quads, calves, hip joints, and glutes).I recommend this place 15/10 as the facilities are also extremely clean and zen, the staff is super sweet from when you enter until you exit. Definitely treat yourself here post-athletic event.

Honestly the most amazing massage I have had in a very long time. I love all the therapists I hv had but Ricardo is next level AH-MAZE-ZING!! I am so grateful that I was on his table tonight. Been seeing Jordan a couple of times in a row now. Finally finally, I found my person. I have never found someone who can actually massage my feet properly. She finds the knots and takes care of them.I recommend the gua sha for small muscle knots.

I’ve brought my wife here multiple times and she always leaves feeling so much better. This time it was my turn to get a massage and I’ve got to say. I know why my wife always asks to come back! My deep tissue massage was amazing. The ambiance inside the wait room only sets up you up for the real experience. Inside you’ll be greeted to a beautiful room with lights suspended from the ceiling that whispers “welcome”. The white noise is an added touch of relaxation.

I love my visits to The Now. This was my first time in the Long Beach location— it was so lovely. The check-in staff were so kind and helpful — exceptionally well informed about all the services and studio policies.My massage therapist Robert Rodriguez is wonderfully talented and has such great energy. OK massage, though not much pressure despite paying $15 extra for deep tissue. Left feeling extremely greasy from the oil they used (much moreso than the typical massage). Front desk staff was friendly.

Loved my massage by Savannah, I added Gua Sha and with her technique It really helped my neuropathy. Hope to see the Now massage boutiques pop up over the United States( Kansas is calling) next time I am in the Long Beach area I will be back. If you are in the area, go see what the hype is about and ask for Savannah!

Had a prenatal massage with Lizvette and it was definitely worth it! She focused on a bad knot I had in my back that would not go away for days. After the massage at first, it was so sore, but by the next day the pain was almost completely gone, two-three days after, no more pain. Great experience for my first time getting a prenatal massage !

I visited The Now in Long Beach after hearing about them from a friend. I usually go to massage envy but this location came highly recommended. I must admit they did not disappoint. The front desk staff was fantastic and they were able to squeeze me in same day. The masseuse was also incredible. I have been experiencing shoulder and arm pain from work and it has not come back since. Definitely a huge upgrade from the corporate out of touch feel of Massage Envy. I will never go anywhere else.

The NOW Massage left me with the best experience! I recently visited the facility and was not disappointed from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left. The staff was incredibly friendly, the facility was relaxing, and was super calming.I did a 25 min massage with Nikki and it was great. They were able to pinpoint specific areas that I needed to work on. It didn’t feel too short of a visit either, although I would love to do a longer session on my next visit.The facility was quiet, even though it is not individual walled off rooms; I did not hear another person in the back at all. The massage bed was warm and cozy; just perfect! I would highly recommend the NOW to anyone.

I always have Nikki and I cannot tell you how wonderful she is. I went in to see her with a pinched nerve and left 95% better. The next day I was completely pain free. I cannot thank her enough. The Now has amazing massages and amazing staff. Karen helped me check out and she was so enthusiastic and willing to answer my questions and learn about my experience. Can’t say enough about this location!!

You will never regret going to a NOW Massage. The customer service is always so pleasant and the ambiance is epic. Nothing like it. It feels like one spent an hour in Tulum. Carla was exceptional and addressed my need for a great deep tissue experience.

I like that they have various offerings (I’d recommend The Healer massage with Athena) and I’ve never left disappointed (I’ve been 10+ times). Amazing is the best way to describe my experience. The spa is esthetically beautiful and peaceful. The staff was kind and accommodating. My therapist was fabulous, just the right amount of pressure and he checked in often to verify it was what I wanted. I will definitely be a regular here.

This place is great! The aroma of the Jasmine Coconut candle (a must buy) draws you in! My first massage here was so good that I wanted my friends to experience it! I contacted the owner, Jamie Fox, to see if she could accommodate a group of 7 so that we could each have an 80 minute massage at the same time which she arranged! Everyone loved their experience from the super friendly lovely ladies greeting and checking us in/out to each persons therapist who tailored each massage to each persons need - a big thank you to Nikki, Jun, Shanna, Kyong Mi D, James, and Gilbert - you are gifted massage therapists! The Now is absolutely amazing!! I’ve been to this spa a couple of times now and couldn’t believe that a place like this existed inside a mall. The ocean waves sound, the aroma, and service are top notch. I’m a spa-snob and for the price and the service in this area, I was so impressed. Please request Gilbert if you want a relaxing, feel good experience. I never fall asleep during massages and he made me so relaxed, I think I snored in the middle of my session - which was amazing.

OMGGGGGGG this was the best massage I’ve ever had in my life!!!! I didn’t know how stiff I was till Carla worked her magic on me. Let me start from the beginning…..Right when you walk in, it smells of Jasmine and Coconut. You feel like you’ve been transported to Tulum. You hear the sound of the waves crashing against the sand. The bed was heated (plus they add a heated weighted blanket on top of you) and all the oils smelled amazing!!! I added the hair treatment (which i highly recommend) Carla massaged my head and I instantly felt all my pressure I was feeling melt away.If I could give this place 10 stars I would, the staff were delightful, will definitely be coming back as a member! Ask for Carla, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to book my next appointment ♥️

AMAZING! The front desk staff was warm and welcoming (I believe it was Karla and Stephanie who greeted me). They were super informative on all the services they offered. They made me feel comfortable and if I was right at home! The business itself is STUNNING. Total boho, Tulum vibes...very peaceful and zen. My massage was fantastic. Nikki is 10/10! This was my first visit to NOW Massage and I was impressed by both the quality of the massage service and the clear attention to hospitality. I was welcomed by a friendly experience guide and enjoyed the relaxed waiting area. My massage therapist Nikki was pleasant, made me feel comfortable, and is clearly very skilled in her craft. I received the NOW massage with the fresh eyes enhancement. Nikki customized the massage to my specific areas of tension/discomfort, both the areas I mentioned during our consultation and areas I didnt even realize were tense. It was truly one of the best massages Ive ever had.As for the physical space, the boutique is modern, clean, and engages the senses. Unlike other spas Ive been to, the NOW has one large treatment room, with smaller rooms created with thick fabric partitions. It was still very private, and the ambiance was perfect for relaxation. In fact, the ocean soundscape and aromatherapy were so immersive that I hardly noticed that there were other therapists and clients in the other treatment rooms.Their menu of services was very clear and there were no surprise fees/upsells, which I appreciated. From booking my appointment online through the service and my last encounter with the experience guide, my experience was stress free, which is exactly what I was looking for.I highly recommend The NOW Massage Long Beach!

I visited The NOW for a 50 minute massage and had a great experience. The vibes in the boutique were immaculate. My therapist, Nikki, was friendly and professional. After achieving deep relaxation, I stopped at the coffee shop around the corner and got a latte to energize myself for the rest of the day and grabbed a few pairs of shorts at Lululemon on the way back to my car. All around a wonderful experience, highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience here with my friends for hour massgaes. Fatíma was very helpful at helping me understand the massages. Loved the tulum decor and waves playing. I had Elizabeth and she was very good with pressure. 10/10.

First time, and last time unfortunately. They seem to think a 48 minute “package” that is nothing more than a standard Swedish massage in a vegas-style hall equates a hundred dollars, before charging an additional “deep tissue enhancement” that I had remind the masseur for harder pressure. This is a gentrified Massage Envy that is clearly not interested in catering to everyday, working class people. I tipped my masseur 25%, and didn’t bother telling the receptionist how mortified I was that a massage that lasted less than an hour should never equal 150 dollars.

I’ve visited NOW several times while managing injuries this year. Worked with Kyong Mi, Jaylin, and James. All of these therapists have been excellent. They are professional and take efforts to make sure you have the most healing experience possible. Great ambiance as well. Thank you, all!

Great customer service with a lot of different massage options. As an athlete I love that they have deep tissue add on to the Swedish massage.I ended up purchasing a subscription because my masseuse Ricardo was knowledgeable about post partum massage and is helping me return to normal state after battle with mastitis that left me with limited mobility. The staff and management are friendly as well and helped me understand all options.

Nicole is amazing. She has a deep understanding of the body and tackles my trigger points effectively. She also has strong hands that provides the deep tissue massage I need. I fall asleep during my massage every time and wake up refreshed and deeply relaxed.

This place was amazing. I went on a Tuesday and this worker named Fatima was super sweet. The ambiance and massage were great, I forgot to ask my massager to do it harder so it’s my fault, haha. I had a very relaxing day here with the sweetest workers. Will be visiting again

Best massage in Long Beach, and dare I say all of Southern California?! This is an expertly run, beautiful oasis, with an incredibly compassionate staff with state-of-the-art massage therapists. The rates are beyond reasonable and the add-ons are a must. You could book a flight to Tulum to unwind, or you could just book a massage here. IMO The Now is more worth it!

It was my first time trying this place and I was really excited but overall my experience wasn’t the best. My massage therapist Savanna kept sniffling the whole time and it was distracting and disgusting it sounds like she has a lot of mucus. After she finished the massage I wasn’t offered a towel to wipe the oil off myself so I had to put my clothes on while covered in oil.

Nycole is a highly skilled massage therapist who did wonders with my bad back (lower lumbar fusion) and sore feet. I felt very in the Now from the moment I walked in the door, until hours after the massage, which was a gift all by itself! The Now is an exquisitely pristine massage boutique with a very zen vibe -- Ill be back!!
