I would come here all the time to buy food but only when memo worked here. He made this business run good bringing in customers with his great personality. He would always greet everyone and be polite. The atmosphere & food was great. This week i went to go buy a burrito and the lady got my order wrong. She always manages to mess up every single time i order food from her. I dont know if she’s doing it on purpose at this point. and when i tell her that she messed up on my order she gets mad instead of fixing it. Shes charging 75cents for every salsa and sourcream now. The burrito would come with chips and now she charges $2 extra apart from what they charge you for the food. She is really rude and if i can give this place a negative 10 then i would.

The margaritas were bad, and at 17 dollars. And every time the waiter brought me a drink, she wanted a tip.

The restaurant portion here may seem like a seedy little hole in the wall, but that is where you find the best food made by a hard working couple whos aim it is to feed you and not let you go hungry or wanting. The prices are amazing for not only the portions, but the quality of food you get here. Each dish is made with the love and care you only get from a small operation with dedicated people cooking meals as if for their own family. The neighborhood is not the best but dont let that scare you away from an outstanding meal at an affordable price.

Im mostly rating this four stars because its one of the very few places you can count on to be open at midnight (or until 2a) near downtown Long Beach. The cook is friendly and the prices are dirt cheap. The salsa is good and the beans are well seasoned. However, in my bean and cheese burrito, there was way too much cheese. So much that it was more cheese than beans and as a result, the cheese wasnt melted.

The best burrito i have had ever anytime i visit home this tops the list!!!...

Love their food Ive been going there since the nighties since I was sent Junior high that guy that makes the tacos right there he goes way back since I was in junior high his name is memo he cooks real good tacos in Long Beach 💯👌📸❤️

This is a hole in the wall gem we found right here in long beach..the prices are by far the best youcan get for the amount of really good food you get. Its cash only but 20 dollars will feed 2 people with some left over for later...im very happy to share this place with anyone who truely appreciates Mexican food...

We have been going to Los Potros at PCH/Cherry since 2003 and as long as its the manager that has prepared our order we have never been disappointed itll be custom-made to perfection at our request. Always with a smile and never complains about my pickiness! So a BIG shout-out and thank you to MARIO for all the years that he has been putting up with me!

Burritos, tacos, tortoise and quesadilla is made the way you want to make it at home big meaty and cheese 🌮😋 and yes they do six feet distance think safe stay safe 👍😁

This dude can cook !! I literally have never had a better burrito. I first went to Los Potros in 2011, during grad school. Its been an addiction ever since. To compare, my 2nd favorite burrito is a chimichanga from SuperMex on Atlantic.

I Ordered the Carna Asada Wet Burrito with Red sauce and sour cream. It was Huge...and Tasty well worth the $10.00. Lopita was my Host and helped me with my order.( Very attractive woman). Unfortunately they didnt have Hortchata. I love Hortchata.

The food here is good, but it all depends on who is making your food as to how good it will be. the only thing that i dislike is that they sometimes run out of cheese...or sour cream...and im like really? seriously? you run out of cheese and or sour cream at a mexican food restaurant...

Awesome! Tacos were excellent. The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. The chips were fresh and the refried beans were fabulous.

BEST FOOD IN TOWN! Hands down THE best Camarones a la diabla.. Im from out of town but make this place a frequent stop for the food. The prices are reasonable too!! Love love this place!

Asada burrito was good. Just wish it was freshly grilled. And not give me meat that has been sitting there a while.

Memo is the best. The food is delicious Ive been eating los potros for over a decade.

This place would be the best in long beach if they just let women in for free all night And another thing, the margaritas are 14 dollars that is an abuse nobody buys a bunch of margaritas the fair price would be 10 dollars another thing I bought some nachos with very little meat and 25 dollars all expensive

Im not giving a rating for the food but for the staff, a rude person who even makes a bad face. I feel sorry for the restaurant.

I love it. I came with my friend and her mother. They charge $10 for entry and $25 for a bucket of 6 beers. Its spacious inside. The mens bathroom is spacious and the bar is big. They play a band and the bands are good.

Excellent place to enjoy fresh seafood, from Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

The waitress only flirts with the musicians, as if they are single, they have wives and children, a skinny girl with yellow hair, if she wants money, she should work in a real bar and not be there so they can give her money. If the girl is urgent, she should not go around destroying marriages.

They have extended hours, we were hungry and it was almost 1am and they very kindly assisted us. Abundant food and low price. Its very good.
