Got a free haircut today and had great customer service! The lady who owns the place was super nice and friendly and of very good heart, with free food to support those going through tough times. It’s an absolutely great place that I will be visiting again.

Jovi and her team are easily the best barbers I have ever been to. The website has an easy scheduling system, the shop plays good music, and everyone is always having a great time having fun conversation while you come out looking amazing. If youre looking for a standard cut, they got you covered. But if you want some of the more pampering options, Man Cave excels at that too. If I could give this place 6 stars I would, Ive been going here for about 6 years and counting.

I got my husband a gift certificate for a haircut and signature shave. He never likes to go to appointments by himself and I usually tell the stylist what to do. In fact, he hates the whole interaction so much that I have been cutting his hair for years. He LOVED his experience here and actually asked if he could go regularly. Julia Essman provided excellent service! My extremely shy husband even asked for her card so he would remember her. Thank you for pampering my husband!!

Stumbled into this place after I moved and surviving a few botched Great Clips haircuts. Julia has always done an amazing job with my haircuts, and fixed it the first few times when my prior place botched it. Natasha has done my eyebrows a few times and has also done a great job. Staff is friendly, prices are good, and they do good work. Not much more to be desired from a barber!

Great service with a very open and inviting environment and crew. The witty banter also makes it a fun time. Will definitely be returning for more haircuts and beard grooming. I have a hard time finding people who can cut a high skin fade while also maintaining a beard. 10/10 would recommend. Their YELP official.

First time Ive been to this place and we came away very impressed. I got a haircut and shave and my son got a haircut. Both cuts looked great. Stylists were friendly and fun. Prices were reasonable. Lots of things to keep my 8 year old busy (including fre snacks). Well definitely be back!

Scheduled an appointment days in advance, showed up on time and they said the ‘stylist’ called out, they were busy, and no one could help me. Unacceptable for a company that requires appointments for overcharged haircuts. Had to go to the barber around the corner.

I was in desperate need of a haircut and beard trim for my wedding and the plans I had with my groomsmen at another shop fell through. This place is local to me and quickly appeared as the best option in a pinch. I called up and they were able to fit me in just a couple days before my wedding. They did an absolute fantastic job and I received loads of comments on how well the hair cut and beard trim looked. Will come back for sure!

I started going here when my DC stylist moved away. They’re a fantastic local business that supports the community in many ways. And more importantly, they give great haircuts at a reasonable price. It’s not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. It’s always a fun experience to go in. Highly recommended.

I love the man cave. Been using them for awhile now. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. The staff is very professional and friendly. I personally mainly use them to work on my beard. They are the only ones i trust with it. If you are bearded you will understand that. I have brought my father in law to the man cave as well as my son. My son constantly ask when we are going back. If you are a local or just visiting the area stop in you wont regret it.

I purchased a Man Cave gift card for my senior citizen male friend for Xmas. His hair trim was just that, a trim, nothing extra, no shampoo, no shoulder massage, just a trim on an already short cut. The charge for this was an unbelievable $99. Shameful and greedy! The 1 star is only because I had to chose something in order to post this.

When I lost my arm, there were very few places that stepped up to help support me in a very dire time in my life. They dedicated their time and services to help raise money so that I could get my feet back on the ground. Their selflessness is part of the reason why I am here today. And that is just a freaking barber shop. Having been around Northern Virginia for the last 20 years. There are only two places I get my haircut at. It’s hard to find a barber who you trust. I drive all the way from Winchester to go see Breezy at old town man cave. I have gotten my haircut there for the last three years. Not just because they are good barbers, but their community, outreach and involvement with homeless, lgbtq, and even me.

I’ve been coming here for pedicures for over 2 years now. This staff is attentive, hospitable, and a whole lot of fun! I can’t recommend them enough for all of your grooming needs, no matter what gender!

My husband is a regular of the Man Cave and I couldn’t be happier with how he looks every month! The employees here also used to take great care of my elderly father who very much looked forward to his visits!! The Man Cave also does so much for our community and this town wouldn’t be the same without them!!

I had a wonderful experience. Mandy took real good care of me. She provided options and suggestions on my new haircut which was wonderful. The place itself has a variety of art and I was told all of it is for sale. I also got a pedicure from Mandy. I was surprised so see I was not the only guy getting one. My overall experience was calm and comforting. The staff is friendly and they have taken measures to stay safe during the pandemic. I will be back for sure.

Julie is my go-to girl. Shes super talented and very professional. I have tried the peticure and manicure as well. Its not really my thing, but also very professional and talented. Its also very clean with great vibes.

I lived in Manassas for years and my boyfriend used to go here! They always gave him a great cut and shave (and he was NOT a “manscaper” lol!) This place is also one of the city’s most popular, trusted, and well established small businesses and participate in local community business development.You’ll probably notice a lot of reviews over the past day or so. The initial ones are poorly written and negative one-star reviews. This was in response to our city’s Pride week. One review even claimed the barber was “touching my kids.” Manassas has always been a welcoming city and will continue to be. Much love to the Man Cave for years of taming my boyfriend’s unruly skater-boy curls and being invested in our community!

As always best darn cut and shave around. Make the time and enjoy your self for a few minutes. Came again here before Christmas. Julia is on point and over the top. This is hands down the best place to relax for a few minutes.

Great service and atmosphere. Friendly employees and well respected establishment in the community. They support local businesses and the community. By showing their support of the local community they drew the ire of right wing hate groups who started flooding their google page with negative and untrue reviews. These are patently false reviews and from people who have never even used the Man Caves services. Dont listen to them, this place is the best in Manassas.

It was my first time at the Man Cave and my first time getting a pedicure. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The staff was friendly and greeted me at the door. The atmosphere was excellent and a little funky, which fit. Amber took great care of me. Ill definitely return to see her for more pedicures in the future.

This was the WORST barbershop experience I have ever had.She cut my neck and it actually bled. Leaving I can feel the razor burn and its the worst shave I have ever felt.All her equipment was dull and keep ripping and tugging at my hair.She said Sorry for mistakes in the haircut about 15 times.At the end when she showed me the fade in the mirror she claimed the lighting just made it look like a straight line and it was actually a perfect fade.

As always, Breezy flawlessly turned my 70s extra hair into a clean smooth brute.My fade is…. Flawless… as always… and she was really cohesive with me and worked with my changes throughout the haircut.And eventually I just gave her creative license and she performed magic in front of me.I’m really happy with the way I look. And she manifested that feeling.Thanks breezy :)

I looked up best-rated Barbershop, and this is what came up. Regret taking my husband here. When he made the appointment, we had the impression it was a haircut and beard trimming. When he gets there, he’s told they only have time for a haircut because they were busy. That was a Monday at midday, and my husband said it was empty. I could understand why. But he didn’t argue. He just did his haircut. When he comes home, I see the haircut, and it’s terrible. It is supposed to be a barbershop with excellent ratings to have that type of cut. I don’t recommend this place at all—terrible service in all.

Best beard trim around! I have been going to the Man Cave for years but in the last year my son and I make an afternoon of it. We get a great beard trim and then have lunch in old town. Awesome place - especially if youre tired of the $10 head shave where youre cranked through in 10 minutes. Hair is styled, they do beard and straight razor shaves, facials - its definitely a great experience. Stylists are very nice and I now look forward to a haircut!

I walked in to the man cave almost a year ago and had a mop on my head. I met breezy and she cut my hair and months later convinced me to grow a beard. I looked so good she and I are getting married

This is definitely the best place I have ever been to. Old town man cave is like the Cheers of barber shops. This place makes you feel like family. I recently moved and was looking for a convenient place to get my haircut that could do a little more than a standard barber shop. I saw some good reviews for the Old Towne Man Cave so I set up an appointment. When I called I described what I was looking for and was told I should make an appointment with Ron. I showed up at noon on a Sunday and Ron was ready to go. He made sure he understood exactly what I was looking for and went to work. While I was there I had great conversations with Ron, several members of his staff, and another client. It was a very enjoyable experience. The cut was exactly what I asked for, and I believe the price is very reasonable considering the type of establishment. Ive already made my next appointment to see Ron. I would recommend this place to any guy looking for a great hair cut.

What a great place. The staff is super great and accommodating. Theres nothing like a shave and hot towel. I felt like a new man and got a lot of compliments. Definitely the place to treat yourself to some self care. You will feel pampered.

First time visiting today, had an appointment with Ron. Was trying out a new haircut and brought a few photos of what I had in mind - from the moment I showed him and described what I wanted he knew exactly what I was asking for, gave me a quick cut, and did an excellent job! Professional and friendly all around, from the receptionist who greeted me and offered me a drink to Ron as he cut my hair and had convos with me and the other customers to the place and location in general. Definitely would come again.

Thr absolute best place for haircuts and beard trims in the DMV. Great staff and atmosphere and always leave feeling and looking amazing. Particularly love that they use a straight razor for all the beard trims and for lining up your haircut at the end. This is the only place that my boys and I will go to anymore. Like any great barbershop however, they tend to book up quickly so I would siggest booking at least a week ik advance.

Well this was my first visit to the Man Cave. I just wanted a basic chair massage after a long day and as I walked in and Amanda greeted me with a beautiful smile. She got me all set up in the chair and did an extremely thorough deep tissue massage even though we werent using one of the beds. Afterwards we talked for awhile and they even had a complimentary drink! I will definitely come back again and ask for Amanda she is awesome!

Got manicure and a pedicure while watching football and drinking beer.The staff is great. Very friendly and engaging.The shop is in a former bank. They turned the vault into a walk-in humidor.A great business. I truly wish them lots of success and good fortune. Keep up the great work!

Called in yesterday to make an appointment for today, but when I went in for my appointment earlier the person I spoke with never put me down in her schedule so she forgot. I was looking for a cut and beard trim but she could only allot time for one or told me to come back at the end of her day.I understand mistakes happen, but I didnt feel like any decent solution was offered. Im heading to Chicago tomorrow so I couldnt accommodate her schedule for her mistake nor wanted to only get half of what I requested. I ended up patronizing a business that actually valued my time.

First I should say I didnt get my haircut here. The low rating is service related and Im not criticizing their skills. I arrived one minute late for a 30 minute appointment and was told that there was a double booking. I scheduled my appointment online on their website which took my name and phone number. I was told that they tried to call me but couldnt find my phone number so I really dont like that not only was there a double booking but that apparently my phone number wasnt recorded by their system either. I would have no problem if there was a double booking and I was called and notified because I understand stuff like that happens occasionally and then I wouldnt have wasted my time driving there.

This was my first experience with Old Towne, but wont be my last. It was a real pleasure to meet Justin (Bluto) and some of the other staff. I was looking for a beard trim and shave. Justin listened to what I was looking for, gave some suggestions, and did a fantastic job! The trim and shave was only part of this experience however. Getting to know him and his interest in getting to know me is what makes long-term loyal customers and friends. Thanks Bluto and Man Cave! Youre top shelf!

I cant recommend this place enough. Ron has been cutting my hair and shaving my beard for nearly a year now. Not only do you leave looking and feeling exceptional, you get to enjoy a beer and a cigar at the same time. Moes team is fantastic and while you pay a premium price, you always have an exemplary experience.

I took my 18 month old son here yesterday for an appointment with Jovana for a haircut and I cannot say enough good things about our experience! She was extremely patient and kind with him. She made sure he was happy and comfortable the entire time. She even had snacks to give him to help keep him content. She took the time to make sure his hair looked perfect before we walked out of there. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I will definitely be taking my son back here to see Jovana!

Amazing place! I only let my husband go here; Jovana is an master of beard shaping. She is truly an artist. Most places shave his beard like hes sheep! But Jovan at Man Cave is the only who takes her time to shape and cut, giving his beard a neat but natural appearance. 10/10 recommend

Then, I was running late due to I-66 traffic and Yovana still waited for me.First time ever coming in, the best experience I have ever had in barber shop. The facility is clean and very unique. Old Town Man Cave is on point. Exceptional haircut and beard trim today by my barber Ron. Not only did Ron give me a great haircut and he fixed a prior bad beard trim. Hi - I have to share my experience with Bluto (I hope this is the right name. I wear a hearing aid, and with masks, things get tough). Here is the short story..... I took my disabled and schizophrenic brother for an appointment to get his hair cut and beard trimmed. My brothers hair is half orange from the top down, he was wearing some unconventional clothing, and he has a massive out of control beard. His appearance generally makes him the subject of curious stares, jokes, and people creating some distance.....Well - My brother went into the shop, but declined the appointment (he believes that if he cuts his hair and beard - he wont be able to make friends). I know this doesnt make sense but he has a lot of disconnected associations because of schizophrenia.As we left the shop, I apologized to Bubba for wasting his time, and offered to pay for the appointment. Bubba declined and said there was no problem - saving me some guilt and awkwardness about the abandoned appointment. While this was really nice, what mattered more was how he treated my brother. Bubba really tried to be helpful and talked to him like a friend. He made him feel like they were on the same team (since they both had beards and mustaches) and treated him with respect and normalcy.Even after we left the shop, Bubba came outside to once again try to connect with him. My brothers appearance and behavior, at times, makes some people uncomfortable or even fearful. But Bubba shook his hand, chatted with him more and encouraged him to come back. I got in my car and cried. Even though my brother has suffered with mental illness for more than 30 years, Im not used to that kind of response - and it made me feel hopeful.With all of this said, please go support this shop. They were welcoming and non judgmental. I also saw another guy in the shop - and he looked really great. So, Ill try again with my brother, and Ill always appreciate the experience I had that day.Thanks so much.

Room mate told me this place closed down, it didnt. I got a great haircut and a much needed beard trim. This place is such an amazing place for male hair cuts, beard trimming, and manicures. You can even visit their cigar room and purchase and smoke during manicures or pedicures. Its awesome.

Quality hair and beard cuts, friendly and helpful staff - including to children (a requirement for me), unique and comfortable atmosphere, conveniently located near a variety of food and beverage joints. A patron for years, used to highly recommend, but seems to have recently taken a turn for the worse.

Less than desirable experience. The individual took a chunk out of my beard,gave me an intentional hair part line, and did something that I cannot quite articulate to my hair.Needless to say I will not be going back. And I get to wait for my hair to grow out before trying to fix it.There are mistakes and I can see that. But overall this was epic fail.

To begin, Ron and staff go out of their way to make all their customers, or anyone who walks in, very welcome. Having recently relocated to the area from NY, I was fortunate to find a great barber in Ron. His barber skills and techniques are A-One! The mani/pedi services are exceptional as well. Overall, I highly recommend this business.

My favorite job ive ever had. if you ever have the chance to visit Manassas, check out this barber shop even if you dont need a haircut. they serve beer, wine,(complimentary with any service) and cigars, theyre only 12 bucks!! go to watch a football game, play shuffle board or all in all just to have a good time. the massages and facials are to die for!

They offered me a beer just for walking in. Guy did such a great job on my haircut that I stuck around for nails. Sports/news on the tvs, music that isnt pop on the radio, and an atmosphere that relaxes.

My husband was very specific that he wanted his beard shaped up, but still long. The guy cut off several inches- most of his beard, 6 months worth of growing. Hes very unhappy with the length that was cut off as well as the way it is now shaped. We will not be returning.

This place is pretty much a sports clips with extras. Unless you’re an older white guy I cannot recommend this spot for a haircut.

Amazing place to get a hair cut, all barbers are polite and keep their appointments! Never had an issue, must try there sports massage!

My boyfriend and were walking around Old Manassas and walked in to see what the place was like. The comments from the staff to him were rude and uncalled for. I would never recommend this place or step one foot in it or give money to an establishment that doesnt have manners.

Friendly barbers and a chill vibe. Also great haircuts, so definitely worth the little extra for a great cut.

Finally a place for men to chill with a stogi and man drinks. Prices seems a bit over for location though and with lots of competition with no so good barbers in the area or around the corner.
