Annies Healthcare Massage

I have visited Annies Healthcare Massage multiple times and I always leave more relaxed. The facility is clean and the prices are affordable. I have had massages from Tina and Owen and both were great. This last time I came in with a headache, I let Owen know and he massaged my neck and upper back very well. I will keep going to Annies Healthcare Massage for sure!

I had the acupressure aromatherapy massage and it worked wonders for the areas where I experience chronic pain. Tina was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. It is clear that she knows what she is doing. The entire space was decorated elegantly. It was clean and comfortable. Prices are extremely reasonable and there are many treatment options. Highly recommended! I will definitely go back!

Asked for a deep tissue mostly for back and got everything but that. The massage tickled more than it felt good. Personally not for me waste of money

I’ve been getting massages for years. I’m always trying different massage . I’m particular about what I need. Annie is responsive and her masseuses are very experienced. Lulu & Owen are great with deep tissue. Pricing is great! For an extra $10 you can get cupped. Amazing.

I called on February 5th and made an appointment for February 25th for hot stone, massages for my daughter, and I as part of my birthday celebration. My appointment was confirmed for 11 AM, but when we arrived, we were told there was no appointment scheduled. I explained to the receptionist that there must be some mistake and showed her my call log which showed I had made the call which lasted three minutes on February 5th. She didn’t seem to care, never apologized or offer an alternative nor did she offer to look into it to see what may have happened. She had zero customer service skills. My daughter and I left totally disappointed as we were looking forward to this. Shortly after we left, I got a call offering a 2 PM appointment but still no apology or recognition that someone had made a mistake. I respectfully declined and do not intend to give them any business in the future.

Annies is clean and professional with fair prices. I wish they had online booking to make scheduling appointments more accessible

I found Annies Massage on Groupon and wanted to buy a birthday gift card for my mom. When I called to make an appointment, they told me they had this special deal for 90 minutes for only $99. They also gave me 30 minutes of free foot massage, but they only had male masseuses available, I thought Id give it a try, when my mom finished the massage she was very happy, she said she got the first wonderful massage in her life, thank you Owen for giving my mom a professional massage 100% recommended

Excellent deep tissue massage and cupping from Summer. The place was very pink, smelled nice, looked clean. I used a Groupon and was treated kindly.

Fabulous massage!!Excellent value for 90 minutes of top tier massage. I left Annies feeling refreshed instead of rung out like massages at other locations. Annie listened to exactly what was going on with my body then she and my massage therapist, Summer, decided what kind of massage I needed. I will return to Annies because they tailored the therapy exactly for me!

I usually get my massages done at lifetime since that’s the gym I go to but when I saw the Groupon I thought I’d give it a shot. Probably one of the best massages I’ve gotten and the place is nice and clean, cute decor. Would go back.

I purchased a groupon for Annies’s Healthcare Massage in Manassas, VA. What wasstated in the groupon was to include a 50 minutes massage (custom pressure),aromatherapy and some hot stone. The cost of the groupon was $55.00. I purchasedthis specific groupon because it had great reviewsArriving:The place was very easy to find in a townhome business building type of setting.Front desk:What I liked: I liked that the atmosphere was inviting and the massage therapist/frontdesk was relatively engaging, maintaining eye contact etc. She had a pretty friendlydemeanor.What I found odd/did not like:I found it odd that she did not have me fill out an intake form. From the front desk, shespecifically asked me if I had any injuries. And that was it. I informed her of how tightand messed up my neck and shoulders were so she said she would focus on that.Even though there wasn’t anyone else there, I think an intake form is important and anytype of questions and concerns should be addressed in the massage room.The Massage Room andTable:Once in the room. She directed me to undress but to leave my underwear on. I foundthat weird, but I will get more into that in a bit. There was actually no sheet covering theentire table. The table had a soft blanket on it with a hole to put your face down into.There was a folded sheet on the bed. She instructed me to get undressed and drapethe sheet on top of me face down. The sheet was actually very small. The table was very comfortable though.The massage itself:The massage started with the therapist massaging me through the sheet. She spent agood 10 minutes doing this. Because of the the prolonged amount of time she spentdoing this, I was beginning to think that this was all the massage was going to be. Nolotions/oils or anything. Her touch was a bit vigorous for an introductory touch but it stillfelt pretty good. There was quite a bit of jostling and force during this part of themassage. Lots of kneading, friction, vibration, extreme amounts of pushing.She eventually stopped and then undraped my back. Even with this, it was a bitabrasive and the flow seemed rather quick to me. She did apply lubricant. Her timingand rhythm was kind of fast. She spent about 3 minutes on back until she didsomething that completely caught me off guard. She undraped the sheet further toexpose my legs and underwear and then she completely pulled my underwear down toexpose both of my glutes!!! My entire glutes were exposed, both cheeks were out!!! Myeyes got wide while I was face down,and I was almost contemplating on stopping herbut I just rolled with it. I think massage therapists should definitely ask if clients wantglute work done. And definitely ask if its ok to be entirely undraped.She continued to work on my back along with applying massage to my glutes. Andhonestly, they absolutely needed it. So in a way, I am kind of glad this occurrencehappened. She did not perform much effleurage and when she did it felt kind of rushed.She performed it up along the sides of my spinal column. She focused on my neck andshoulders but not to the amount that I would have liked. She barely focused on my legsand I was not even instructed to flip over supine. The hot stone treatment was onlydone for maybe 1 minute and there was no aromatherapy. All in all the massageseemed kind of rushed, but oddly at the same time, it was ok.Would I go back again? I am not sure. Sometimes groupon purchases seem tolack the quality of what a good massage should be because often times they are losingmoney from the groupon, but again, this is how establishments can gain clientele andthey should deliver the same massage experience. I am a bit surprised by the amountof excellent reviews it has though. I would not have rated this an excellent massage. Infact, I was debating on going to another place immediately afterward because I did not feel complete. I can only rate this a 2.

I purchased a GROUPON and I was asked to give the redemption code over the phone. SINCE WHEN? When has a merchant asked for the code before GETTING to the appointment?? Then if I get there they cam easily cancel or deny service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU PURCHASED A GROUPON!

This place charged my Groupon with out me using it. In Groupon it doesn’t say will charge if fail to make the appointment. She was very rude , unprofessional and yelled at me on the phone. If that was the case someone should have specified thaton their website and the groupon. Very unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend this place.

I was gifted a groupon for a massage withthis company and I have been trying to get in contact with this company for the last two weeks. No one has answered the phone for me to book my appointment and once someone finally reached out to me through TEXT MESSAGE after two weeks... I told them I was trying to book an appointment after 4:30 and whoever contacted me told me that I could only use the Groupon between the hours 10am-3pm. On groupon the fine print does not specify hours for Groupon use nor does the website say that. If that was the case someone should have specified thaton their website and the groupon. Very unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend.

You may think you have had a real massage, but no. TRUST ME SHE DID EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IN YOUR HEAD THAT YOU WANT DONE. That other places ALWAYS MISS. I will start coming at least every month. My shoulder was hurting when I woke up and could not move it a certain way without it hurting. When I left after my massage I didn’t feel a thing. 👏

Love Annies healthcare Massage. Ive tried other big chain massage places with exotic treatments and packages but nothing was as good as Annies. The massages always leave me relaxed. They have great groypons.

Unfortunately, my Massage Therapist forgot to use the stone for my session and the manager didnt care to take care of it. She just told me that he had forgotten about it.
