This is the $16-$18 side seafood macaroni I was looking forward to. & the side of yam(s). Idk why a person would want to deliver this to a customer. We ordered over $100 in DoorDash. And got a spoon of yams and this flavorless seafood Mac. As you can see in the photo, it was separated noodles, and sprinkled shredded cheese, which I hate. The shrimp/crawfish/crabmeat was flavorless too.Ordered the southern fried chicken pasta for the second time and talked my roommate to get the blackened chicken pasta. Im a fan of saucy pasta but these two was TOO much, would need more pasta noodles to have a good balance. Flavor was there, but all the sauce made it borderline salty. The first time I ordered them via DoorDash after 11pm, the pasta was good, and they sold out of Seafood Mac and I never got refunded the difference getting the curry cabbage instead. Which was good btw. And the collards were decent. I should’ve never ordered the Mac but I figured if it was on the menu, it must’ve been fire, but, highly disappointed. I was trying to put someone else on Barber’s Bistro but was a fail.
I’ve been here a million times. I hate that this establishment will soon be closing. The DJ is always hype. The food is actually good. There’s hookah and seating always available. I’ve never had an issue finding a parking spot here. I genuinely hate that the economy has impacted this business and surrounding community as hard as it has. We are genuinely losing a gem
This was my first time coming out. I saw this place on Instagram and want to check it out. But in doing so my experience was not a good one. For starters my waitress gave me wrong information when I ordered. I was told that my food and drinks were going to be half off. That was before I ordered my food. Then once I ordered my food she bring me the wrong food. I had to repeat myself several times just for her to hear me. I ordered a hookah and had to remind her about that. And then once I was almost finish with my food she came and just pulled my plate. Oh hello I was still eating. And to to it all off once I was finish I was told to get my food is half off I had to wait for the manager. I guess he stepped out of something. Then something happened because she brought the bill only to tell me that my food was not half off just my drink and hookah. I paid a $170 to this place and it was not even worth it. And also I was lied to before I placed my order she made sure that she told me that I had to order food to get the half off. I will not be back. And I would not recommend this place to anyone else. The only thing I did like was the vibe and the music but I dont have to pay almost $200 just to get that. This place got over on me this time.
We came midweek one day for one of their happy hour game nights they had posted online. It said that everything started at 6pm. We got there a little before 6:30pm and there were 4 other patrons in the restaurant at the time (so it looked realllly empty). We usually sit at the bar, but two patrons and 1 staff member were currently sitting there and it seemed too tight for two more. We opted to sit at the hightops next to the bar; I had to switch out my chair due to it being too wobbly. The leather on the booths and chairs were torn. Its time for a refresh on upholstery and chairs. It probably isnt as noticeable during club hours, but during the day its an eyesore.I asked the waitress what the current happy hours specials are and she quickly stated that there were none. I told her that the post said the opposite and mentioned the $7 Georgia peaches. She went to the bar and the bartender said no, but lemon drops were. I let them know that posts said different, and decided to order off of the regular menu although the Georgia Peaches and .70¢ wings was part of what attracted us to check them out in the first place. Fail. 🤦🏽♀️ It was marketed as Game Night, and that was the only part that held true. They asked if we wanted to play something and opted for the Uno cards.We ordered drinks and food. My guy had the lamb chops and said they were good although they were much smaller than those served at other establishments. I had the crab cakes as my entree and added yams. Both were really good.All in all, we didnt have a horrible experience although it was apparent that there are a few things that Bar Bistro needs to work on. Im definitely not adding that as a place I have to ever come back to again, but if it somehow ended up being a location that a friend asked me to meet them at, I wouldnt cringe. Lol. I may give them another shot in the future.
The collard green quesadilla was different, good though! The pineapple dish was salty and hardly any pineapple to combat the salt. I didnt order my Whiskey neat but thats how it came to the table...oh well, ordered 1 more to help the salt. The music was loud for no reason. It was hardly anyone there. Maybe I expected too much because of Instagram post. Nice idea for the venue, just wasnt good for me.
Great food and service! Perfect for a late night bite! Even though it’s right on Highway 41, it’s hard to spot. Though hidden in a little strip mall, this place is sure to impress! Chill ambiance too. I found out they even have hookahs! Classy place that serves food and drinks late night.Being a night owl, I was happy to find a place that keeps their kitchen open late night! I wish I would have known about this place earlier!You’ve probably driven past this place numerous times without a second look; I know I did. It is tucked away in a small strip mall on Cobb Parkway (across from south-side of Dobbins Air Force Base).Service is great! I placed an to-go order at the bar (so I can’t speak for the table service) and received service with s smile. They quickly prepared my to-go order - and the large portions of food came out quickly. The crowd was light (seemed to be regulars sitting and eating at the bar). The place feels upscale, and the atmosphere is chill - good vibes.
The worst experience ever. Literally just had to walk out bc of the terrible attitude of the waiter. To be quite frank, it was disgusting. Firstly, we were never greeted until we started walking towards a table. The incompetent waitress, with the terrible weave, took 2 orders of ppl who walked in after us, bc they were men she could flirt with. Those same men ended up walking out bc she never returned to our table.Then she literally threw the menus at us. We got up and left. No customer should ever be treated as such. Do NOT support this business until they learn some etiquette.
I really enjoyed myself. We went for my sister’s birthday & the guy was very friendly and professional & the food and drinks were pretty good.I had to take a star away because the service was extremely slow. They were under staffed and it took forever to get the food.Overall, I did have a great time with group I was with. We had time time that day and we exited each other’s company
My first time going was today & our waitress Courtney helped us so well with menu & drink choices. She also made my brothers & I felt comfortable enough to return back to the restaurant. 10/10 ! Great atmosphere and cool music. The DJ played hits. Will be back soon.
Bartender was super sweet. Made my drink well. Chicken sliders were good. Seafood Mac and cheese was extremely disappointing. I took one bite and sent it back. It was also super hot and the bartender noticed.
My friend literally spit a roach out onto his plate. I ordered surf and turf they only brought me the turf the went to re deep fry a lobster tail and brought it out greasy. The owner was non chalant about the whole experience and offer my friend a drink and said “no refunds”
I give a 4 out of 5 only because it took around 45 minutes to get our food and their was only one other couple in there before we ordered. Other people trickled in, sat at the bar and got their food way before ours came out. Poor decision making by management caused this to take place. Two cooks should always be scheduled. One early out and one that closes because you never know when your(1) cook might become overwhelmed and frustrated running 4 stations all night long. I worked in the business and managed for 17yrs so I understand why this happened.So, with that being said our server/bartender on 9/3/20 was awesome. The drinks were on point, she was very attentive and kind. When we finally got our food it came out with a very nice presentation, it was hot, fresh and delicious. Nice job Chef! Overall it was a nice experience.
I went to help celebrate my sons best friends birthday this past weekend. I got a drink and chicken sliders which were good. My first complaint is I had to ask twice for a glass of water when there were was only 1 other party there besides ours. Second complaint is my bill was $41 and I added a $4 tip totaling $45. When I checked my bank statement, I noticed I was charged $87. I agree, it could have been more but i wasnt happy with the service. Since i never got a receipt I feel like the waitress stole from me. I will NEVER go back and plan on pursuing this further!!!!
Vibez on deck! Best food, hands down. I had the garlic steak medium. Tender, and season to perfection. Pleasantly surprise for a lounge. Food choice alone dictates a visit. Great staff. And the bartender Jewels make sure your glass is full and you feel valued. Music slaps. Tables clean. Intimate setting. Barber Bistro is a 8.5. Its official....
Worst place ever to visit, the dj was awful (cocky for no reason) and I told the owner the dj would hurt his business without asking me why Or concerned about my opinion he walked off on me. I said wow u disrespectful as well. It’s only 5 people in here. I said you the boss, you rather me tell you or google.. his attitude changed but he still acted uninterested. Never again, this place is horrible. Please done waste your time coming here you will be disappointed ‼️ mind you the dj is in the black sitting down by the two girls in picture I posted smh not doing anything.
I was let down by the surf and turf I ordered from Barberbistro. Despite the enticing pictures, everything turned out to be a disappointment. To add insult to injury, I paid extra for shrimp but only received three pieces. The pasta was the only thing that stood out, though it had a Mexican twist to it. Unfortunately, the steak was of the cheapest cut and lacked any discernible flavor. The customer service through the phone was pleasant, but the taste of the food was lackluster. The steak tasted like it was from last season and the fried lobster was no better. Im so disappointed as I had high hopes for this restaurant.
I give this place 0 Stars. I was just there last Saturday when I specifically told the waitress four times that I had a shellfish allergy. First she stated that all fried food is cooked in the same oil (which is illegal) and when I asked about the grill she stated no seafood is grilled. So I ordered a chicken quesadilla and was served a shrimp quesadilla instead. I guess they do grill their seafood after all 🙄. The service was horrible it took over 45 minutes to just order and get drinks along with another additional 20 minutes for them to bring me the wrong order ( we arrived after 12 midnight and the place was not crowded) They don’t have a variety of hookah flavors or hookah tips 😒. Ive been following BB for a while now and decided to go there with some friends who were in town. When we walked in the vibe was cool with the music they were playing. After being seated, we decided to order some food. We were then given plastic utensils and no drink menu. I ordered the surf and turf with an order of coconut shrimp (which were burnt), and the seafood mac and cheese. The food was ok and the portions are way small!!! They are nothing like whats seen on the IG page. It was literally one scoop (if that) of the seafood mac in a small bowl, the surf and turf was also small as well. After I got my bill it was $90 including a SERVICE charge for dining in, not to get it confused with gratuity. We went last Tuesday night where there were drink/food specials, $10.99 crab legs, great music, and karaoke. We had a great time and we had a great server. Her name was Tierra. She continuously checked on us, was involved in the karaoke, and made our night enjoyable. Will definitely go back.
I disliked it so much that Im still in the restaurant while I write this review. So we walked in, werent greeted by anyone, then a nice tatted lady told us that we could seat ourselves. We did that. We sat close to bar in the first booth. It took about 5- 7 minutes for somebody to come say hello. The waitress introduced herself and asked for our order, even though we didnt have a menu. She brought back a table tent with a QR code on it. The menu was over priced. So I decided to order the $10 crab leg special and $5 Margarita thats displayed on the special board to the right of the door when you walk in. It lists the weekly food specials w/o any other info. Remember this for later! So I order the special at 10:35... the waitress comes back like sorry that ended at 10pm ummmm ok.... but where are the rules listed for these specials ? Nowhere, is where. So since i cant order the crab leg special, I order the regular crab leg boil , brussel sprouts and fries. Here comes the waitress 3 minutes later...soooo yeah wen outta crab legs, want something else? 😩 cool hows the surf & turf? Its great but the one with the lamb chops are better. So I take her suggestion and order the lamb chops, my boyfriend orders the blackend catfish and shrimp with dirty rice. About 20 min later the food comes out and it looks amazing...however, it was far from amazing. My boyfriend meal turned out ok, good flavor and all, but the lamb chops for my meal was not seasoned at all. They literally took the lamb chops and just slapped them on the grill until they were charred. It taste as if the meat was more burnt than cooked. Completely different from the catfish dish.Ambiance- they do seem to have fun here in on Tuesday night though. The staff seems to truly love each other.So my advice is to come for the fun but not the food!
I had the best time at Barber Bistro! I needed a break I was hungry, needed some entertainment to take me away from life, and I got it here with the great food and drink specials. I live to paint its so tranquil for me, not too loud not too crowded and definitely my speed for a self love experience! Love my time here, THANK YOU I WILL COME AGAIN!
Finally made my way to this very chic spot. The service was great thanks Nikki for your friendly service. How comforting. The food hit the spot. I was craving something savory and sweet the chicken and waffles delivered. The chicken was nice and crunchy, like I like it. The waffle was ok. Im sure if I wouldve made it to pick up my order in time it wouldve been better. I will be returning to try some other menu items. Approximately a year ago I went to use a Groupon at this establishment. I took my mother and daughter and my mother had been asking to return since. Her birthday just past and I decided to throw her a surprise party here to celebrate. I went in early to set up and the staff was beyond kind and helpful. She was very surprised and her and all of her guest were pleased with their food and the service. Nice ambiance, reasonable prices, and enjoyed the music! Hope to return soon!
Came here during lunch . Without realizing it, we came right after they first opened . Bartender had a weird attitude. My friend and I walked in first, she came in right after. Before we were even sat, she asked if we already knew what we wanted . Already the experience was coming to a weird turn . After she slid us The menu we ordered, and she began to open for business. It was just very unpleasant as she was slamming the mats on the counter. my friend noticed a smell and ask me to take a peek through the open kitchen door as the bartender was now outside . The smell was not coming from the kitchen. It smelled like vinegar then my friend goes on the say “oh no, let’s go. There were plastic forks under booths by the door . Huge pieces of trash everywhere .
Wanted to try this place for the 1st time. We went at 12pm on Friday but when we tried to open the doors it was locked. Per their site they say they are open but were not. So well make sure we call before we go next time.Ill update my review once we actually eat here.UpdateCame back and they were open. Its not a huge space but has enough room for our party of 5. It wasnt too crowded when we went. DJ played some good music. My drink was ok. The hookah was good and strong. Probably one of the best hookahs Ive had at a lounge. Our waitress was good. Food was ok. We all did have a good time and id come back at some point.
Owner is rude and incompetent. Ordered something off uber eats and after waiting for 30 minutes my order was cancelled. If you are closed, turn off your Uber eats orders! Not that hard!
I had the catfish and taste the braised lamb, yalllll the food was 💣💣💣! Good music & Dj who did a Great job. Waitress was very attentive. They had hookah & half off the drinks when I went. The drinks were watered down though, I’m guessing due to half off special but I would have paid full price for a nice drink. Also I know it’s COVID & all but i would have preferred more high quality plastic wear with such delicious food. The plastic forks were flimsy. I would visit again. 😀
Much like the other reviews mentioned service is slow when you first arrive. I would say it’s a lack of proper management and organization. You are able to seat yourself, and then flag down a server. After about 25 minutes after speaking to a manager (no help) we were able to get Kiki’s attention. She was a sweetheart and provided good service and apologized for the delay. The dj was really the saving grace for this place though because the vibe provided a distraction from the initial delay of service and the wait for food. The food and drinks were ok. We went on a Tuesday and they had ran out of some things. Overall we would try this place again with the expectation of the delay.
JEFF has the most gifted hands when it comes to hair cutting. I have been coming to Jeff almost 2 years and he always gives me a 100% great service. So , If your ever in Marietta go see Jeff the barber for that fresh haircut no doubt!!
Beautiful up and coming lounge. I went for $2 Tuesday, the drinks were strong and nice sized for the price. They have hookah and the live DJ did an amazing job keeping us entertained, singing, and dancing! The only pro is that this place is tiny and the wings are horrible (lemon pepper). My friend had shrimp alfredo that she loved tho! I would visit again🤗
10 people in the building. 12 including myself and dad. Took 17 minutes to offer water. No happy hour at 5p. Was told they do not do happy hour. Couldnt order food due to cook not being there. Waitress cans to take and said what yall want. Ive come here before and was disappointed with this experience. Left and met some folks that were there at the other place I went to.
The vegan food is good but their service is absolutely terrible they never consistent and will cancel an order at the last minute after waiting. How are y’all still in business with this kind of service?
This place was horrible. I do not list too many places as horrible, but everything about it was awful. The service was awful; it took about 20 mins to be served. The cook was terrible. He never made the entree. After about an hour ten minutes of waiting, I asked for the check for drinks that were $53 for two drinks and what tasted like freezer burned shrimp. The music was too loud, above the decimals of a fire engine. They even took forever to the bring the check. Because of this, I give it a 2/10 would not try again.***my girlfriend would like to note she never received her fries.***
Today (Father’s Day) I went to Barber Bistro with my son and mother and was very disappointed. This is normally my go to brunch spot but this last experience really disappointed me. We arrived around 1 pm and was the only customers in there. I was actually excited about that because I did not want the loud overcrowded brunch vibe. I normally love getting the catfish and grits but today the grits was completely soupy. I sent the food back and the chef tried to fix it but it was still a puddle of grits. Not only did that happen but my son order a sprite and it tasted like carbonated water, things happen so we sent that back with no problem and ordered a lemonade, again this was not right either. I asked for a water and the waitress told me it was $4 because they only offer bottle water. What?! This is brunch not a club/lounge experience. On top of all of that before we ordered I was told I had to put a card on file as if I was opening a tab, I’m still confused because I’m only eating brunch. There’s also now a 12% service charge on your bill that the waitress advised is not apart of her tip. I was just completely dissatisfied by my experience and this was literally my favorite place. Just disappointed. The bartender did a great job on the mimosa and lemon drop, and the chicken and waffles my mom received was fine. I’m not sure what’s causing the negative change here I just hope it gets it back together because I genuinely love this place.
I have been coming to barber bistro for almost 5 years never got a chance to write a review ! But this is like a dope lowkey spot in Marietta , great food calm vibes ! Blackened pasta 5 stars for sure.
I spent $30 there. Poor portions, taste, and texture compared to the EXTREMELY high prices. They REALLY dont give a single care about you ESPECIALLY if you have the food delivered. A single 350 ml can of Coke was 2 dollars. 2. The photo [you might be able to see] of the garlic bread they gave me was FOUR WHOLE DOLLARS. Their blackened shrimp was flavorless and the pasta could have been made at home. $13.00 for that plate. Then they had the nerve to slide a kid-sized cheesecake in for $6. B**** what? Cheesecake Factory doesnt even do people that dirty. Never going back.

Quick SummaryDefinitely would fail the health inspection. Service was non-existent (1 server for the entire restaurant, she was even making the mimosas behind the bar), 1.5 hours into the venture and the buffet still hadnt been completely set up. Food - the buffet food wasnt good, never got my made to order items.The StorySo 3 of us decided to check out this place after seeing the pics and reviews online for their $25 bottomless brunch on Sunday. I walked in and saw a hostess stand holding open the door. In an effort to keep a long bad experience short I will say it took me awkwardly standing there while the server walked around me to finally get seated. They initially told us the only place we could sit was the bar because every single table said reserved. I told them I had a reservation so they said to take 1 of the shared tables. Basically 3 of us squeezed at a table fit for one.The server comes over ask if were doing the endless brunch and we say yes. She promptly brought us our mimosas (oj w/a splash of champagne). Nothing is set up at this point. Brunch starts at 1 and its probably 130ish. Over an hour has now passed by since our arrival and weve seen the tables around us getting food brought out to them. The bartender is running around doing prep work like setting out the premade deserts and chopping lemons. (She was also doing everything w/the same gloves on she was prepping the food like opening doors and answering the phone). The runner is bringing food from the back and the ONE server is trying to serve the entire restaurant that by this point is completely full.When the server finally comes back to us we ask how much longer before were able to eat? She then asks if we wanted to order premade food?! MAAM! Why didnt you ask us this an hour ago?!?! She also says we can get food from the buffet. Not 1 person had gone to the buffet, until after we did so apparently no one knew. We place our order of the 3 premade options (shrimp and grits, fish and grits, chicken and red velvet waffles.) At this point the buffet was still barely set up. It wass some aluminum tin trays that you take to a cookout or house party. There was probably 5 or 6 things on the buffet, everything else was empty. Every last one of the 5 plates they had at the buffet were dirty as well. Even after we brought it to their attention we saw people picking stuff off their plates when they picked them up.We get to our table to eat the little buffet items while we wait on our made to order items to arrive and the silverware and napkins are dirty. And I mean dirty dirty. One person didnt have silverware so he asked for it, but it never came. 2 peoples entrees came, but mine never arrived after about 20 minutes. We asked for drink refills, lord knows how many times, and she just told us she has to take care of the other peoples orders. I watched her fill up every persons cup in that restaurant and never made it back to us w/that orange juice featuring champagne bc that was no mimosa. Anyways at this point Im beyond frustrated and when she looks at our table I just told her I was leaving and she shrugged her shoulders so I left.This was by far one of my worst restaurant experiences ever. I had really high hopes for this place, but boy did they let me down. Oh and its not kid friendly. But the dj was nice.

I have been here plenty of times. Tonight service was terrible! Our waitress told us everything was half off then told us it wasn’t when we were about to pay. Service is bad when they are somewhat busy.
It was decent. Server was nice, not busy at all on a weekday. Definitely looks bad in there, though. Theres so much inconsistency with the look, its an eyesore! Even the music, like it was reggae night and they randomly were playing Pop Smoke and CJ. The food was alright. They seasoned the pasta well.
I went to their karaoke event, which states online that start time is 7. When I arrived after 8, dj states karaoke is at 9:30. This is the second time hes stated a different time than advertised. I decided to order a 2 dollar long island shot; a Tuesday special; no purchase was stated as necessary. When inquiring about the special, the bartender, a Spanish man, who says his name is Gabriel, insisted that I buy something from the menu to qualify for the 2 dollar long island. When I challenged his claim by asking a waitress, she proceeded to make the drink; upon which she was interrupted by Gabriel, who again claimed that a purchase was necessary, to qualify for the 2 dollar special, which again, was not posted online. The waitress agreed WITH Gabriel, and stopped making the drink. When asked why said provision wasnt listed online, my question was not addressed. In short, theyre fraudulent in their advertisement, or service; maybe both. Full disclosure: Barber section kudos for service, and hospitality!
So it’s Tuesday and I’m in the area decided to give the place a 2nd chance I’m in the area. I tried to order the margaritas the were out of the liquor so the bartender swapped for Hennessy margaritas instead. Price of drinks and portion of drink unacceptable.They were out of the crab legs they advertised for Tuesday as well. I opted to try some wings for 17.00 for eight wings I assumed they were whole wings they were not. they also didn’t come with fries.They also had 6 wings for 7 dollars as an all day special. ( I pointed out the fact that my wings were 17 dollars for 8 vs the 7 dollars for 6. The server said it’s menu price for 8 it’s only for one flavor and it’s not his business.) hot lemon pepper is 2 flavors.I ate my wings( winglets) and was not satisfied so I opted to get the 7 dollar chicken sliders. In addition. Still hungry and down 45 dollars it was time for me to go.They’re were only a few people in there and I definitely understand why. Portion sizes prices and service is lackluster. 2 out of 10 do not recommend.Note: the person next to me asked if they had fries. I’m not going to say what was said in response.When the fries came out they said that’s not 7 dollars worth or fries. Her response was “they played me.” (She also sent the fries back for some seasoning).
Stopped by on a Wednesday night. Specifically asked the server if the blackened pasta dish contained onions and was assured it did not just receive my food with a sauce that contained non other than onions. i would’ve sent it back but they only had one server running the entire floor during my whole 2 & a half hours in the establishment. Hookah is an option with only 2 flavors to choose from. concept is neat & the space is nice but i wasn’t the biggest fan.
I have to say this is the worst lounge I’ve ever been to. Dirty, nasty no hand soap or tissue in bathroom. The worst hookahs!!! Decor looks like 20 kids tore it up!! Roaches horrible, looks nothing like the video on tictok. The restaurant needs to be shut dwn n revamped or just closed permanently. Our waitress was so sweet n patient even though she didn’t have the tools to have a successful night. Baby if you see this leave this restaurant and get you another job. One waitress doing all the work, sad smh!!! I never leave reviews good or bad, that’s how horrible my experience was. Upscale where? Oh and those menu prices don’t match the restaurant, I’m sorry nothing but the other customers made tonight tolerable!! You couldn’t pay me to return!! Do better!!!
Went here Saturday to celebrate my birthday. Atmosphere and food were good but service was not the best. I paid $50 for a table and a bottle champagne. We decided to order other drinks also but was told they have no juices for chasers or to make the drinks. The also didn’t have grenadine either. The $50 was supposed to go towards my bill which it did not and still had to come out of pocket. Overall I would visit again but they gotta get their bar together.
DONT DO IT! Choose somewhere else, Im not sure what has happened but you can see why the business is failing. I tried to speak with the owner about my experience the day after and he concluded the conversation by thinking I was just another black person trying to hate on a black business. I was so disappointed with his attitude. I think he knows the quality of what they provide sucks.
I highly recommend Jays establishment and give a 5-star rating to Jay, the owner, impressed me with his excellent service when I approached him to set up a reliable barber shop for my boys. He assured me of our satisfaction, and he definitely delivered. During my visit, Jay personally gave me a tour, showcasing the amazing amenities available. To the left, there is a spa, while a bar/lounge is situated in the middle, and to the right, the barber shop itself. Jays hospitality and genuine care were evident throughout the experience.However, I must express my disappointment with the woman manager, which is why I can only give her 2 stars. My interaction with her was far from pleasant as she appeared disinterested and detached. While I understand that she may have had a lot on her plate, customer service should be a priority when running a business. Upon entering, I was not greeted, whereas a man who arrived shortly after me was warmly welcomed by the staff. Furthermore, when I took a seat at the bar, I noticed a puddle of water on the counter where I was seated. I politely informed the manager about it, and she proceeded to clean the area but simultaneously started talking about the menu, leaving me confused as I hadnt realized she was addressing me due to the lack of eye contact. Later, when I ordered my second drink, I discovered a piece of food floating in the glass. I brought it to the managers attention, and she remade my drink but served it in a plastic cup, which felt like a deliberate attempt to be sarcastic or dismissive. 😏
Customer service is great here and the food was pretty good they made me some fried shrimp (preferred a little less bread around the shrimp) but it was good. The atmosphere was nice and cozy love the dim lights. Not sure able the Barber side of it but the place is beautiful. I also had some pasta but forgot to take a picture
Came into town from Indianapolis, IN & found this barbershop on IG. The barbers did an excellent job greeting customers as they walked in making us feel welcomed. 3 of us came in for haircuts & a barber wasn’t available for me so I was handed a free complementary drink card for the bar/restaurant which is connected! 😎🤗🕺🏿 The ladies operating the restaurant/bar area were very beautiful, nice, & informative when it came to the drink/food menu!!! I most definitely found my ATL home barbershop with this place & will come here over & over again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I thought this place was going to be a wonderful experience. However, everything is overpriced and they are taxing with a service charge and gratuity automatically on our bill of 5 people. Those two together totaled amount $100 dollars and that wasn’t even included the food and drinks we purchased. They will not split checks either.My friend food was cold and had no taste, she order the sliders. My food was delicious I ordered the fried lobster tail and chops. The chops were over cooked though and tiny. One drink will run you $18 dollars if you don’t like the cheap stuff. I would not recommend
Don’t. Do not visit this establishment. First of all they use false advertisement to get to in the door then the prices for this sub par food is ridiculous which I paid for because I ate it but then you have the nerve to have a service charge!! When I ask about the service charge the manager gives me this whole spill about the cost for security which there is none while I am here, the cost of a DJ which there wasn’t one while I was here and the variable price of the food. Buy in bulk. You set your prices for your meal and now you tell me you have to charge Service charge on top. You tell me I paid $50 for some chicken and pasta and watered down drink and I should pay another charge on top of that. You mention the lobster price in your reasoning, what that got to go with me. I order chicken and pasta! If you can’t afford lobster don’t serve lobster. Do not come here if you are reading this. I usually support small businesses especially if I see that they try but I didn’t even mention that an order that came to our table with day old at best chicken. No sir.

Came to eat for lunch with my soldiers. During the ordering of our meals, we were told they were out of chicken breast. After we all ordered our food, we had to wait about twenty minutes before any food started to arrive. I was asked by the waitress how I wanted my burger cooked and let her know. Once my soldiers received their food, we had asked to order to go food. After another thirty minutes of waiting the waitress came out and stated that they didn’t have any beef. If your establishment has run out of inventory and is opening the next day at 1:30 for lunch. It would be in your best interest to have your kitchen stocked with everything required to complete items available on your menu or just not open the doors at all.
Terrible. They advertise as open but then don’t have no bartender on the clock. It’s 8pm and they need to change their hours if that’s the case .
I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Unprofessional staff as well as the owner, horrible customer service when they messed the order up. I ordered the Surf & Turf pasta, seafood Mac & Cheese and the yams through Uber eats. The driver stated he always have issues with the resturant messing orders up, and of course they messed mine up. You can order either the lamb chops or steak, I ordered the lamb chops, they didn’t have lamb chop so I asked if it could be replace for something that cost less than the lamb chops or steak, I asked for cat fish, they owner made it seem like that would cost more, like the cat fish cost more than steak or lamb chops, then when the order came it was still messed up and when I called they gave me bad attitude as if it was my fault, TRASH!!!!!!!

Overall it’s a nice vibe I must say, but I will not come here again. I read a lot of reviews before I go to a place and although a lot of these reviews for this restaurant talked about having extra charges after leaving here is correct! I’m not sure how or what system they operate with but I was charged twice one that posted with my tip and one without. Which essentially put my bank account in the negative and I can’t transfer any money into my account because the bank will take it for it being in the negative. I have to wait 4 days to get my funds back on my account if it doesn’t post and if it doesn’t that’s another lengthy process. Also, they advertise a vegan menu which we called before to confirm that they sold vegan food and a server confirmed with us that they do. When we arrived to eat and looked at the menus there were no vegan menu! I was however able to eat some side and the hostess was cool.

I was so excited to come here and get a pineapple rice bowl. The meal was actually delicious. But the drinks are trash, they need bartenders that actually know how to bartend. That was the grossest margarita I’ve ever had in my life. And my server was lost somewhere the whole time, even though it wasn’t busy. Now I have 3 separate charges for my one bill, and the server added $6 to the 20% tip I already left her. My bill with tip should have been $86.50, but I have $184.20 between the three charges on my card. I WILL be calling them tomorrow. And I’m taking the whole entire tip back, that thief isn’t getting a penny from me towards her bills. FYI I’ve been serving for 16 years. I’m irate
So it was cool very lit with karaoke for a Tuesday. It was so loud I couldn’t enjoy my date. Had to go outside to converse and tables weren’t reset we wiped off our own table it was 10pm. Severs we’re pleasant and overall decent. So everything is a 3ish. Wings were good and I got a half a cup of ranch on the side. Needed a full cup for 8 wings. Didn’t check out barber shop but I’m grateful that it’s in a completely separated area. I wasn’t ready for how loud it was that’s all I suppose. I felt old saying that lol. Only cause I was on date I think 🤔
1st time visiting barber bistro, experience was above and beyond perfection! Our waitress Martha was on point 👉 with a wonderful personality 👏 👌 owner was a very professional guy with a good personality as well. Will definitely be back again.. 5 stars plus
I had a great time on Easter Sunday. Martha was my waitress and she was so attentive it blew my mind I had to compliment her. Her service was so great I had to come leave a review. In bars you usually have to find your server or waitress she was so consistent I loved it!!
Best place hands down !! The food is good, it’s a vibe . They have a beauty spa and a barbershop . So you can get your toes done while you do your hookah. Did I mention you can bring your kids ??? We went in to grab a quick drink today for Cinco de Mayo(5-5-2023) ordered while sitting at the bar which took the server about 20 minutes to make because she was new ..a manager finally came over and proceeded to help, during this time we also ordered appetizers I ordered the collard green quesadillas and added chicken. Finally we got our drinks and by the way nobody is at the bar but myself and a friend..we waited for almost 45 minutes just to receive appetizers. I’m definitely not a cheap person but this place was extremely pricey for one drink and an appetizer 45$. The service was horrible and the young lady was new, there wasn’t anyone showing her. I definitely don’t blame her, this service was less than elite, unprofessional and unorganized. I don’t recommend.
My experience was bad went on a Friday at 7pm while I wait for my daughter school dance to be over. Food wasn’t the best drinks excluding soda wasn’t good kept having to change . It was 2 of us each had salmon sliders I had one drink and our bill was 75.00 the bar tender wouldn’t show us the tab or give a receipt we had to rush out to get the kids . No manager never I ask for business card no one knew the number or couldn’t find the manager when I came the next day to discuss my concerns. I felt taken advantage of from a black own business! Food inspectors please check the kitchen and soda boxes in the back!

So I went to the bistro today for brunch, I normally go in the evening this was my first brunch experience. I truly have to say it was kinda ratchet it wasn’t what I expected. The server was great she was a sweet young lady but the team isn’t on the same page we literally waited 30 min for a hookah the waitress continuously went to ask for it and it eventually came. The bottomless mimosas were good I just hate the glass is so small after your pour it literally equivalent to one cup so you have to keep asking for refills which is annoying. I ordered the Cajun grits and salmon it was good I was kinda disappointed they didn’t offer bread it biscuits being that it’s brunch. The potatoes we ordered were burnt but overall the grits were good. I think if they do a little improving it would be a little better I also didn’t like the fact it was babies in the mix. I just don’t think kids belong in that type of setting with hookah, loud music, and a full bar especially little babies and it was few, but just my opinion but overall it was cool they just need to do a little better.
Been here twice.Service is great. Atmosphere and music is good. Drinks are strong and made well. Food…. So the food is wonderful…. When they have it in stock. Both times we went was around 9pmish and half the menu was sold out🙄 keep in mind they open at 12 noon and they serve the barbershop and take out orders all day. So by 9pm, they don’t have much left. If you want to guarantee they have food, go during the day, but during the club/lounge hours, don’t count on many options for food. Drinks were right and service was great! The ladies there are on they JOB🤓

I came for a birthday dinner and it started out great until their service became very poor. Only one server but two other servers were just walking around. When I expressed my concerns to the supposed manager he listened but that was about it. He never came back to the table to assist. Instead he side talk with the supposed “help” of the other two severs. Overall the food was great besides my asparagus not being cooked to the order I requested. Not very likely I’ll be visiting again. I would have like too because the atmosphere and space was very nice but the quality of service was not.
They got me together up here man I gotta tell ya, service good, food good, well worth it, Chef Anthony came out to tell me about the dish, I appreciate that, great hospitality
The concept is interesting. A barbershop with a bistro is a cool concept. I went on a Wednesday night, Caribbean night. There was a DJ and I enjoyed the music.As far as the food - I ordered lemon pepper wings. The waitress brought out Buffalo sauced wings. When I told her thats not what I ordered, she acted like it was for another table. When she brought my food back. I could tell that they washed off the buffalo sauce and sprinkled some stuff over it. The plate had liquid on it and the hint of red was still there on the wings and of course it TASTED NOTHING LIKE LEMON PEPPER. That was a huge turn off for me.The place itself is run down. The seats have burnt holes. And overall the place need some TLC. I probably wont go back.

Went to watch the fight on Saturday around 10pm (01/07/2023). I was told the whole bar was reserved (nobody was there) and it was $50 to sit at a table (nobody stated that on their social media account). Even though I wasn’t happy about that I still got a table. After sitting down it took me close to 37 mins for a server to greet me. I would have understood if it was extremely busy but what really aggravated me was two couple came in after me and they both got seated and served drinks before my table was even cleaned or offered a water. I went somewhere else didn’t even stay to watch the fight. I love my black people. Let’s just start treating each other better.

Tonight I went to this establishment, let me first start off by saying I love the vibe it felt like a big family reunion, food , drinks and hookah came out fast, me and my friends enjoyed ourselves until our waitress came and told us we had to get up , the music was loud so I didn’t clearly hear her explanation to why, but I felt it was very unprofessional she did say that message came from her manager, I also had just ordered my refill on my hookah so my money for that went to waste, I myself spent $120.29 so I feel like if it was a time limit that would have been told when I set down, and the fact that I was spending my money there we shouldn’t have had to leave, although she didn’t tell us to leave she said we had to get up from that table I said well where will we sit and she said I don’t know the place was packed and no where to sit so we had no where to sit, so me and my party left. I feel like my business wasn’t appreciated and I probably won’t be going back
Ive ordered food from them before via Uber Eats and its been pretty good, however, good food alone isnt going to earn you 5 stars. Im writing this review as I wait for the take out order I placed OVER AN HOUR ago! When I placed my order. I was told it would be 20-30 minutes. If it took 45min I wouldnt be mad, but 1hr 10minutes is ridiculous! I was told there were tickets before mine (all those folks are all done eating by the way) and that there was only 1 cook. I wish I was informed about this prior to placing my order, so I could have made an informed decision. Outside of the cup of water I received when I initially placed my order, no ones come to check on me and no ones offered me anything for the inconvenience.Extremely disappointed and SUPER hungry.
Mixed reviews. The vibe is nice. Went there one Saturday and sat at the patio and had a great night. The bartender made me and my bf a drink and it was delicious and nicely priced! Went on another occasion and because they weren’t serving food at that moment the waitress wouldn’t even come around to take our drink order so we left.
Needed a late night haircut. Found the coolest place ever!! This place is truly a must. Love the vibe, food, drink, servers, and MUSIC!! We love the fire dancer. 🔥 its a hooka bar, amazing restaurant, and hair salon. We will Definitely be back!

I’m actually here now. I came in about 10 it’s a Tuesday. My first 15 min were not good. However the owner or manager heard my concern about me not being acknowledged. After that the night was great. The bartender her name is Day was marvelous after that. The fried crab legs we missed but we saw them they looked so good. The barbershop part is dope and looks clean, the owner is not that friendly. However this place is black excellence.
My husband was looking for a barbershop when we drove in from out of town, we came across Barber Bistro and fell in love once we pulled up outside. The atmosphere was great, nice and clean inside. Cool stop to get a cut, have a drink, and vibe to some music. We didnt eat anything but I sat at the bar while I waited for my husband to finish cutting his hair. The bartender was very nice and welcoming. The bar counter wasnt clean which was a turn off, but from what I could see people were being served in a timely manner and enjoying their fried snow crab legs. We will be back for some food and drinks. Loved the vibe!
Waited over 2 hours for blackened catfish and shrimp which I never received plus the waiter wasnt very friendly.it was a party of 9 everyone got their food but two of us and the waitress acted like she didnt care. Its cool though you dont treat people like that .**UPDATE**Barber Bistro made their wrong to right our server Nicki was awesome she exceeded our expectations and made our visit here at Barber Bistro a pleasurable visit she was awesome and the food was great and we got everything in a timely manner. I had a terrible visit! The service staff were not attentive at all (even went to the bar and still were not greeted) I suggest customer service training fast!! And unfortunately me and friend were burning up, it seems like the AIR was not on at all (which in Atlanta during the summertime is crazy) I know this lounge just opened not to long ago so I’m willing to give it a try again, but just beware!
Myeisha was my server. I had the lobster lamb chop tower( disgusting , batter wasn’t fried thoroughly on my lobster tail )My total came out to 75 all together with drinks. I paid card and was told it didn’t process and if I had cash instead,so I paid cash . Now it’s 30days later and I’m noticing a charge from this specific restaurant. Called them about the issue haven’t heard anything since!! Watch out for any scams or double charges !!!

This place used to be one of my favorites. The lamb chop dinner was so delicious until they renovated and got new cooks now the food comes out cold, seafood Mac & cheese has imitation crab meat in it now, they give you a spoon size of mashed potatoes, The lobster tails are now cut in half and they had the nerve to up the price. My friends and I came in this restaurant at least once a week and brought other friends with us and always spend over a hundred dollars but they’ve lost our business since they want to be lazy now and be all about money instead of making sure they continued to offer quality food. The customer service is great but for the amount that I’m paying for food I expect a meal and not a appetizer. DO BETTER! I’m leaving 1 star for the customer service.
This is my FAV GO TO SPOT. I’m there almost every Tuesday for karoke and crab leg day. DJJusay has it lit every time no matter the genre of music. Even on its chill nights, I enjoy myself. It’s always a vibe at the B! The best hookah, drinks, and food in town….can’t forget the servers…absolutely loves them! Always make sure I’m comfortable and having a good time whenever I enter!
Fantastic brunch! We came here because Copelands had an hour wait, and timw spent here was so worth it. The brunch was delicious. Between the two of us, we had the steak and eggs, grits w/catfish and seafood Mac. Everything was so good, especially the grits. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned down without being salty. My sirloin steak was seasoned and cooked to the perfect temperature without my asking. The steak was so tender that i could easily cut it with plastic cutlery. The accompanying eggs were like a scrambled omelet;made with diced peppers, onions, Spinach and a hint of cheese, and the eggs were not overcooked. The grits....my goodness. I dont know what they were cooked in but the flavor was out of this world! I could eat just grits, swear! The seafood Mac was made by the serving and I love that. It was full of crab and shrimp and had a nice crisp on the great quality cheese used. Oh, and the bottomless mimosas- strong, and tasty. Were seasoned sippers and were very impressed with the pour. They also have hookah....we did the crisp air flavor. I tell you, the hookah even tasted good! Lol.My only slight deduction, but not worth deducting a star for, is the fees. Theres a liquor tax, service fee and food tax. But honestly, I didnt mind it cause everything tasted so good.Another thing we enjoyed was the music level - It wasnt too loud; we could easily converse without having to yell. We loved that! 5 out of 5 for me. Id definitely return. Good vibes and great food.
Went on a tues night during happy hour. $7 chicken po’boy was delicious with my $7 long island. sam was our server and she was outstanding!! she’s beautiful and attentive and she continuously made sure me and my party was straight. will be back
So at first when I saw the name of this place, I was like oh my God what is this ? but when I went inside and I had the food, it was amazing. The service was amazing. It was a different type of restaurant that I wasn’t expecting to get what I got, but you guys must try and have an experience at this place. Have fun!
I read the reviews before I came and they weren’t great, but they Lieddddd! 😂 Everyone was so nice. Nicole greeted us and she was so bubbly and cute!! Pinot was our server. What a cute name! She was super sweet too! The staff seem to work together. Everyone runs food and drinks. The $5 Margaritas and long islands was hitting. The $10 fried crab legs was good! The Dj was vibin, the atmosphere was great. I’m impressed. For real! I can’t wait to come back and bring more friends! Had to do a review because they deserve it. I don’t know what some people expect…I loved it!

Nicki was the best server. She made sure we had everything we needed, the food was exactly what we ordered, and when something came up short, she fixed it with no problems. Just on the strength of her, I would go back all the time. The food and drinks are amazing too.
The atmosphere and ambiance is well designed even in the restroom. The live band on Tuesdays is great. There were two waitresses there on Sunday evening that were very friendly. The chicken wings with fries was very affordable and tasty. I think with more word of mouth and advertising this will be a popular spot. There were no paper towels in the restroom even after going back at and having notified the waitress who was understandably working very hard to put in orders and mix drinks.
Theyre scammers!!!!!the server charged my friend and I twice for the same meal , when we notice it, we brought it to her attention she said that she canceled it and Ill see the amount back on my card, I had tip her $30 on my card so since the transaction was suppose to be cancelled I ApplePay her $30 for her tip, 2days after just to find out that the transaction was never cancelled, I keep calling to speak to a manger, a manger is never around or they will tell me to call back around 6/7pm and when I do the phone just rings out, anywho its a dispute case open its with American Express and my last name is francis and the server can applepay me back my $30. THANK YOU.
Overpriced for what it is. I ordered a $16 dollar drink Margherita which was more expensive that it tasted and the bill for the drink came up to $21 before a tip? In addtion to taxes there was a processing fee for like 3 bucks?
BB hosted a Fight Night Event. Upon arrival the bistro space was nice pretty clean. Seating was pretty spacious considering the volume of customers. Two of the largest television screens over the bar were completely out. My group decided to address the waitress if there was something wrong with the service. About ten minutes later one of the larger two screens powered up. Which only held two streams views of the fight. Orders on average took about 45 minutes to an hour. We repeatedly interrupted our server for services. The music was classic good music for a Sunday night. This is the turning point in my rating; as the fight neared the end one of the two screens was physically turned off by our server, who then exited the seated area entrance doors. With no warning or explanation as to why. After returning back through the doors, another group of customers where we’re also positioned to watch the fight on that screen. Approached our server and questioned, in a very calm manner, why such inconsiderate behavior of your customers. To which was replayed “we close at 12” and abruptly walked away. Now we’re in the 11th round and the only screen is streaming the fight (above the bar). This is when I was like okay cool, as soon as the bell rang for the completion of round 12, the stream was powered off by our server with the remote.I’m all for supporting black businesses, as a black entrepreneur and black business owner. We are honestly held at a different type of standard. Barber Bistro concept is absolutely authentic!! I was truly hoping to receive that genuine black business experience. The customer service was poor. Additionally, It’s the inconsiderate behavior and poor advertising and lack consumer communication that justifies my rating.
Stopped by Friday night and order the lamb chops I usually get. They told me they were out of the original ingredients for the lamb but the chef will prepare it as best as possible. I swear to you that it was the best sauce that I ever had. I tip my hat to the chef. I feel he needs a better opportunity because he can literally cook. Service was bomb and the DJ was amazing. He had the old school vibes that I love. Will be back soon

What can I say about this place....well first I was skeptical 🤨, but after looking at the menu I was like ok maybe 🤔. I had to try a couple items just in case it wasnt popping. Lets just say I would of ordered anything off that menu and walked away satisfied. I tried the lobster, steak, wings, and a taco off the kids menu. E v e r y t h I n g.. 🔥 🔥 🔥 and more 🔥. I dont eat fries like that but dam near ate all my baby boy fries off his plate. Thank goodness the portions are pretty good. The waitress was friendly and very helpful wit explaining the menu. I havent tried the barbershop portion next door yet so I wouldnt say about the quality of the cut but I did take a look inside and Ill be trying it on my next go around. Trust me if your in the area and you got some time to sit and eat go try this spot, well worth the the money wont be disappointed.
The Dom Da Barber was solid. Good conversation, professionalism, and skills with the clippers. He added extra touches that made the haircut an experience. He even personally walked me into the restaurant and made sure I got great treatment. I couldn’t use my free drink coupon on the drink I wanted but I got everything I wanted. Great experience.
Great service, the twins servers managed tables and operations well! I really appreciate their customer courtesy along with the rest of the staff. Good food, great vibes, music was lit 🔥. The twins seems like they are the only ones that are know how to handle pressure while the crowd is live. One wasn’t my server and still treated My family and I like she was. I really appreciate them for their hard work and excellent customer service.
I support black business but y’all GOT to do better. Ordered food to go at 6, they said it would be 20 minutes, arrived at 7 and it hadn’t even been sent back yet. The restaurant had 4 people inside eating at the time so it’s not like they were swamped. The food is good but the communication needs to improve drastically.
The set up here is nice. A very creative concept. This visit was my second visit. My party and I were seated immediately to my surprise because it was quite crowded. It took about twenty minutes are so before we could get a server. We finally caught the attention of a waitress who stated that she really wasnt suppose to be our waitress but she would help out. She took food and drink orders. The drinks came about 20 minutes later. We sat for about an hour and a half and never received food. We saw ppl who came in after us receive their order. It was crazy. Of course at this point we are upset and wanted to leave. We spoke with a manager who took our info and told us to call and he would take care of it. The next week when we called, they were out of what I had ordered and I was asked to choose something else. SMH. Then when we get there to get the food..... the manager discounts the order. You would think after all of this headache and bad experience that the food wouldve been free. Mind you I live 30 minutes away. Bad experience. And do not order the yams.... they are not yams they are just baked and slightly burned sweet potatoes. No glaze or nothing. Just dry. I can see this being a very nice establishment. Needs to be revamped though!
Nasty place! Had a horrible experience. Food was cold, drinks were watered down, food was over priced and we were surprised by a 12% service charge that doesnt even go to the waitress! Wont be back and wont recommend.

Their live DJ is always great no matter if it’s Karaoke Night on a Tuesday, Caribbean Wednesday, Game Night Thursday, any night of the week is a VIBE!The hookah girl, Lisha is OUTSTANDING! Renee is AMAZING at the bar! All of the food is cooked to order and it is well worth the wait. Everything on the menu taste like a piece of heaven!I am a very frequent customer here & I love the staff! It’s a great environment!
My brother and I tried this place for the first time yesterday. We love supporting Black-Owned Businesses. This is one place we will not be restringing. I will admit, the food was bomb! I ordered the Blackened Pasta with Salmon.So our waitress, Lisha sat us at that table without introducing herself or announcing that she would be our server- not to mention I detest the bodysuits they have the ladies there wearing-No biggie. we went with the vibe. Lisha was too busy conversing with the other male employees on the floor as we awaited her return to our table to place our order. The food is made to order, we were quoted a wait of about 20-25 minutes. 30-40 minutes later, my pasta came out and I was notified Id have to wait EVEN LONGER for the side of broccoli I ordered. The Hennessey Margarita I ordered tasted like straight sweet & sour. Lisha only offered me a 12.99 Hennessey Shot to help. The real cake-taker, is that they add an 8% service charge before you tip. There is no signage providing advanced notice and of course, Lisha had no idea what is was for. When asked to speak to the manager, he had absolutely no hospitality and simply shrugged us off. He claimed it goes to the house...on top of the tip we had already generously left Lisha. Weve both worked as servers, tips the waitress usually tips out for the house. Or there could at least be an advance notice of the fee.Its a no for me. We will never go back.
It was a nice concept, the food and drinks were great, as well as the service! The only issue were the flies and gnats, I really dont like having to swat flies while Im trying to eat. We wouldve stayed longer and order more drinks but I couldnt stay, I couldnt really enjoy my food and the atmosphere. Hopefully theyll get that under control!
Horrible experience. We sat ourselves & watched waitresses walk by us for about 10 mins. Finally Renae comes over. We ordered drinks & wings. When the food came we asked for ranch & were told they were out…would’ve been nice to know prior to ordering but…ok. My wings ended up being cold and instead of putting a rush on some FRESH wings, it took another 20-25 mins for my food to come. I asked to speak with a manager twice. The first time I was told ‘he’s busy’, second time, ‘he’s at the store and there’s no one else here’. Lol OK. I asked if anyone could remove the wings for the inconvenience. She said no since they’re already discounted on Thurs. Soooo because something is discounted, you give me poor quality? Annddd couldn’t even remake the order in a timely manner?? Won’t be returning.
Came here at 11pm didn’t get seated until 11:25. Ordered food at 11:45, got food at 12:30. Ordered an entree and received no sides, they offered a 10% discount. I thought the waitress was drunk, but she informed she wasn’t...she was just high. Drove 30 mins to come here for this.Nothing to accommodate my party, they were so late with the food that they brought it out in to-go boxes. Not to mention the manager had the nerve to try to justify her staffs actions. Please don’t waste your time coming here, the tables are wobbly, they were not wiped down. Terrible experience
Went to karaoke and crab legs Tuesdays for the first time. No one would answer the phone to take a reservation so we just decided to wing it and drive an hour to Marietta since it looked nice on Instagram. Plus it was my friends birthday.It is a VERY small place with loud BoomBox type music. There was a dj playing in the corner. I definitely think the HUGE sectional velvet type couches in the middle of the floor took up too much space for such a small venue but thats just my observation.No one greeted us when we walked in so you pretty much have to seat yourself at a booth that didnt look occupied.There isnt any security or anything and definitely no dress code. Come as you are... literally, just come in your house slippers, tank tops, basketball shorts or whatever lol.The prices are kind of expensive for the type of food you get in my opinion. I think it was like $14 for 6 lonely chicken wings and $12/$14 for a CUP of juice that was supposed to be a margarita. I dont even think there was any alcohol in it to be honest.Honest review of the crab legs bowl: disappointed.The one cluster of crab legs were hard to eat with barely any meat on the inside. The shell was covered in fried flour but the meat was dried out on the inside. Im not sure if I was supposed to eat the seasoned flour off the crab leg or just crack it and eat the meat. Weird concept...You get a quarter piece of corn on the cobb, one baby potato and one boiled egg. All of which is covered in melted butter sprinkled with Parsley. It had absolutely no taste at all! This is compared to my experience with different flavors at places like the Juciy Crab and such. But it wasnt too bad if you get some old bay to sprinkle on it and get there before 10pm because its only $11.00...The karaoke was fun and funny, the waitress was nice but very inattentive and food took forever seemed like. Overall it was just an ok time for a Tuesday.
It started off good but shortly thereafter it went down hill. Got there at 930 made order at the same time for 6 people. Only got drinks and 2 people got food. Which was cooked in old grease. The wrong order was brought to the table by this time its 1130. Spoke with management around 12 said everything would be on the house and my deposit would be refunded for the birthday table. Guess thats going to take 5 to 10 business days. They get 1 star for the dj. I was very disappointed. So dont believe the hype like I did from their Instagram page.
Please be careful swiping your card and reviewing your receipt at this place before leaving . They will add so much to your bill that you didn’t order. The service is cool and drinks were bomb but they will definitely add stuff that you didn’t order .

What an absolute JOKE! Paid $25 for endless Mimosas and Endless brunch. Had 3 water down concoctions and pasta and a cupcake. The waitress was fine, but there was NO food.Folks left because they never got their order after waiting 2 hours. $25 for Nothing. Yall got that and Never a dime more of my money. This is why I stay home and cook. But I have NEVER in my life had and experience this bad. If I could give them a -10 rating I would.Do Better smdh
Barber Bistro is always a vibe. Between the music + food, this spot honestly never disappoints. Pino took care of me today. The drinks she made were A1, and made sure I was good the entire time. 10/10.
Server was great and I wish you could give negative stars. I waited an hour for food before I gave up. It was only a handful of people and it shouldn’t have taken that long for an appetizer. I had just recommended this place as a group outing with friends...I take that back. Never ever ever again. I saw the previous reviews and decided to try myself to be fair. Don’t bother with a response that doesn’t involve working on the wait times for food because too many people have had the same issue. Fix it for future customers if you want to remain open but I’m not coming back at all.
I am so disappointed. I try my best to spend my money with black businesses, this is one I won’t be returning to. The food was an absolute joke. Beside the fact of it being cold and nasty, the portion size may have amounted to a kids meal. The extra $6 to add shrimp to the bowl was a JOKE! It was literally so small, it looked like Walmart shrimp. The service was mediocre. I was robbed of my $70. NEVER AGAIN!
I’ve been here several times and each time it’s different. I have yet to have an amazing time while being here. There is always an issue; either there are limited hookahs, or long waits for drinks, food and seating. The owner should definitely create a time limit on the tables, so he can accommodate more customers. It’s no way I should have to yell to my Boyfriend who is usually right next to me because the Dj doesn’t know how to properly adjust speakers for this size restaurant. Maybe the owner should try to stick to the barber side only or focus all of his time on the restaurant but doing both is it his forte.
The day has finally arrived when I came to this place for the first time. Very nice spot to chill. A very nice place to chill and sip great cocktails. Kinda small so get there early. Limited parking the front but plenty of parking in the back if you don’t a small walking adventure.
Food is good. Service is trash on crab legs Tuesday’s. Servers stand around and will literally not greet you when they clearly see you need assistance lol it’s kind’ve crazy… I’ve been about 5x and as a server, receiving bad service (20 mins, no greet, asking for water & not receiving) will destroy your entire experience. I can’t even tell you what a/ the manager looks like lol. Might be better on other days… crab legs are good though definitely. Oh and karaoke was fun to watch!
Terrible terrible terrible unprofessional food takes forever. Went to see the fight they advertised and they turned it off before it was over. Please don’t waste your time coming here. Going to edit it after your response. Please don’t say you showed the full fight when your waitress turned the tv everyone was watching off during the fight. No warnings. No anything. If you advertised a fight people who came there obviously wanted to see the full fight. We were unaware of the bar closing at 12 and wasn’t told that you were closing at 12 until she turned the tv off while everyone was watching it. She did NOT turn it off after 12. She being Carlisha or whatever lisha something. I ordered nachos and received my food a hour and a half later. Nachos. I supported a black business by going there but what i won’t do is support unprofessional service slow service and overpriced drinks! Should i get started with the bathroom door being broke so my boyfriend had to stand in front of the door so no one would walk in. If you want better then do better. Miss me with the support black business. You need to support better service! We were not the only ones complaining. I will not take something down that happened. Thank you.
So disappointed! Food looked amazing on IG so I had to come check it out...big mistake. We sat for at least 10-15 mins before being greeted and tables that came after us orders were taken AND they were served before us. Still gave it the benefit of the doubt because our server honestly looked either exhausted or extremely high. We came on a Monday in which they advertise $10 hookahs. Server tells us their hookah staff wasnt there. Um.. okay whatever. Ordered our food, I get the lamb chops with mash and a side of seafood mac. My friend ordered the catfish poboy. Both of our entrees came out cold and unseasoned. At this point we were so over it and our waitress was in the corner on her phone so I had to walk across the room and tell her to just bring our check. Not to mention, the pesky gnats!!

This is a cool spot, but it takes forever to get food and drinks. It took 25-30 minutes for our drink orders. We were there for over an hour and still did not get our food. Our waitress then asked us to move because another couple wanted to reserve our table. So over an hour with no food and then asked to move from a regular table because they sold it.
I am so dissapointed. First of all it say bottomless mimosas well not available manager had to go out to get the stuff. Then I have family visiting and we waited a hour for food. My cousin got her chicken and it was still bleeding in the middle. Not a good experience. I do understand that things happen but communicate to let folks know whats going on. Oh by the way I never received my food. The vibe was all off in the first place and we should have just left
I typically only provide reviews when service is exceptional but this place I had to share my experience. Ive attempted to biscotti this place twice. My first experience was a call in over the phone. I was told 20 minutes. When I arrived. There was no food. I was told it would be just 5 more minutes they were finishing my order in the back.... 30 minutes later I walked away no food. I figured Id give them a second shot since maybe the first experience was a mishap. My second experience was even worse starting with the waitress not being able to hear me over the loud background music. This time I was advised 30 minutes for my order. When I arrived, I was told that the kitchen was backed up with orders and it would be another 30 minutes. I kindly waited with my party. 30 minutes later I recieved over cooked salmon, gummy white rice (I asked for yellow rice) and undercooked buffalo wings. I am beyond disappointed and will not be returning.
Not happy at all about them raising their food prices. We used to order the Cajun chicken pasta all the time for about $14-$15 and now it’s almost $20 just for the pasta and to add chicken. And it’s even more to add anything else. Not okay with this menu change. Don’t get me wrong the food is good but this just made me not want to order there anymore :(
I’ve been going to the manager Lamont for the past 7 years for a cut and I’ve never had a complaint. I always receive a remarkable service and my cut is always fresh. The vibe at barber bistro is cool and plus there’s a restaurant & bar connected to the shop if you ever have to wait. 10/10 would recommend.

Me and my family ordered from your business 6 times in the last two weeks to show support to small businesses. When we expressed concern over one meal we were treated with absolute rudeness by your manager Coco.Under no circumstances would I ever return to this place. I give it one star because the food is descent and the Chef seems great. However customer service and management are a total disaster. If you voice any concerns they are rude and will not allow you to speak without cutting you off.
I’m a regular here and I come 2-3 times a week. the last two times that I’ve came the food have been different. The greens are sweet and the taste of the food is just different. Still love the place but something is different about the food.
My fiance & I first time coming here & we arrived about 5:30pm. We were the only ppl in the dining area, there were ppl at the bar. Server came over and got our drinks. Its now about 30 mins in. So at this point everyone else started coming on. We still havent received our drinks but we see them at the bar sitting. She finally comes by to take our order, in which I had to remind her we still never got our drinks! Food arrives, we dont have any silverware or napkins to eat with. We had to go to the bar! Our server (name unknown) because she didnt introduce herself never came back to check & see if we were ok. Our Hookah was dirty we had to send it back 2xs & the drinks (hennessy margaritas) were terrible. Now, Our food was amazing. So if we ever return we will order our food to go. In house service is terrible! Didnt even know our server name!
Hung out in Atl for the 1st time. This place is a whole freaking VIBE, even on a TUESDAY (the day we went). Bartenders and servicers were super awesome, professional, quick and attentive. Big shout-out to Tiera and Shuana. Drinks were strong and kept flowing. Cant wait to go back and check it out on a weekend.
First they dont do reservations only after 10pm ok thats cool. I had a party of 15 for my husband birthday dinner at 7pm. They accommodate with seats great! but once we place our order it went down hill from there.The waitress said about 25-30min for the food ok cool.. 1 hour came one person got there food she didnt like it(sirloin, greens,garlic mash potatoes) sides was good but not the steak, so she reordered. 20 mins came she received her second order (lemon pepper wings) was ok 15 mins later she paid for her food and the rest of the party is still waiting on there food. Needless to say its was a long wait to receive ok food

Service is good but the quality of food for our to-go order was shockingly bad! The crab legs were tiny, rubbery and cold; the potato was undercooked; the seafood Mac and cheese was RUBBERY and HARD, the blackened pasta had no seasoning. The fried lobster was cold, tough, rubbery, and tasteless. We were so excited because we used to come here before Covid and the food used to be very delicious. We were completed taken aback by this. I wouldn’t even give this food away for free, how in the world do they justice the price?

Ok so the spot is cute and set up nice. Here goes the bad part- it took forever to be acknowledged by a waitress just to order drinks and food. When the waitress finally came they were out of different liquors, no pineapple juice and limited on chasers. When it was time to order my food every time I tried to order something they were out of this and out of that. I came for a birthday so I just decided to settle on something. Took forever for the hookah girl to even take my order. I’m over it at this point. I want to support black business but damn this was really bad!!!!
The hookah girl with red and black curly hair in a high ponytail was rude and had an attitude. Wasnt sure if it was just with me because we spent 30 plus minutes asking for one and she gave one to the couple after us. Also who only has 9 hookahs at a club/bar location? They should buy more hookahs for the audience that they advertise too. I will not be back here on a weekend night. Do better!
Barber Bistro is a must if you are looking for good food and a cool atmosphere. I heard good things about this place and it still surpassed my expectations. Barbershop on the right, restaurant on the left. Supposed to get their liquor license next week and will be open until 2am with an early evening happy hour. 80s R&B background music during our lunch visit. Occasional events like comedy night.The chicken and steak tacos were good. A coworker enjoyed the wings, fries and ceasar salad. The rest of the menu looks great. We will definitely be back regularly.
Gave me and my boyfriend food poisoning from those salmon sliders thank goodness I only eat one. My poor boyfriend eat two and has been throwing up all night, we’ll the both of use have. I do not recommend it’s dirty and nasty and my drink was not made rightI was there yesterday with my laptop it was only two others people in there my waitress name was day. I came here and had a great time. The boneless chicken was perfect. The drinks arent watered down and the barber Tron put me in the game with the haircut. Truthfully I havent had a good haircut like this in years. If I could give yall 10 stars I would!💯💯💯

So this whole set up is very nice and warm. Cute. But I ordered the fried chicken and pasta and my chicken was completely bland. It had no flavor at all and mafiosi the meal difficult to eat with the pasta. Ordered through door dash last night around 8. Door dash called at 9 (delivery expected at 9:05) and said my order was still being prepared and would be in route shortly. I ordered Cajun chicken also chicken and waffles. Door dash called back short time later saying they canceled my order and refunded me. Because barber bistro was extremely rude to the driver so much so the driver had to walk away from the situation without my food. I thanked DD for letting me know and called barber to get their side. The lady who answered left me on speaker for a while until I got fed up and hung up. Never will I go there or order from them again.
Called to schedule an appointment for a barber and was told by a lady to come in anytime and i asked are you sure? I can see anyone? She said yes so i drove 30 mins to no one at the barbershop lights off at 4pm on a weekday. Walked to the restaurant side and no employee in sight.
Came Saturday night 6/19/21, heard about this place from a friend. Absolutely worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. 90% of the menu wasn’t available. I order a casa mi go’s pineapple. “Sorry we are out of pineapple” ok cool. Orange juice and tequila. 10 mins later I get my drink and the orange juice taste spoiled or that something got in the juice that wasn’t suppose to go in. Even my waiter said yea it’s something wrong with it. So I ask to just have tequila by itself. “No sorry because u sent back the drink you can’t order any other drinks” huh??? What. Not to mention I order fries because the kitchen is now only making 3 things, one being fries. And it comes with cheese all over it. I don’t eat cheese, in fact I’m allergic. Worse experience. Will not be back ever and will spread the word to all my barber friends who said they heard about this cool place and want to come support. Smh. Shame.
Caribbean night was popping, music was excellent. Food was good, but it just took too long to get food and drinks throughout the night. I mean way tooooooo long!!! Maybe our server was just a little slow. I dont know. Thats the only problem I had.
Went on a Friday night. Food was amazing, but they were out of about every food item on the menu. Hookah seemed full of coal. The only appeal is that it’s in an area of Cobb where there aren’t many similar Hookah spots.
Be careful and check your bill with this place. They are illegally charging 12% in liquor tax and also charging regular tax!! The liquor tax in cobb county is 3% and they are charging 12%. Its very sad when a business try to get over on there customers! This is being investigated but please check your bill and dont let this business get over on you!!
I get my cut from them every week. I moved to ATL less than a year ago and it’s hard to find a good barber. Not only did they cut my hair amazing, they also offered me a free drink from their restaurant after every haircut!

I absolutely love Barber Bistro! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, drinks and the staff particularly my server Shauna. I was greeted once I walked in mind you it was very busy. She was very attentive, quick and very fun. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT AND ASK FOR SHAUNA.
The hot gold wings were very good. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was cooked too long. They need to change the oil in the fryers. The chicken was way to dark. Good waitress. They do not have any diet sodas. They dont have un-sweet tea.
