I had a great experience at Snips. I was able to get an appointment quickly for a full set of lashes, which surprised me. The shop was clean, has great modern decor and has a lot of services to offer. Jordan did a wonderful job with my lashes and was very efficient in multitasking. She made sure to understand what I wanted and updated me during the appointment as she adapted for my crazy post-cancer lashes. Im so glad to have found a great place to go regularly thats close to home.

Excellent salon and spa. I had a gel manicure and pedicure with Kimberly and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve been in the industry over 20 years and owned a salon and spa in Bonita Springs Florida for over 12 I’ve been searching for a place that could hold a candle, and this one does. It reminds me of the salon I used to own. We were an educational salon with an associates program, and they are the same! Kimberly is a master nail technician, and is definitely a dying breed in the industry, you’re looking for a true nail technician and not a chop shop. This is your place. The whole salon was very clean, very professional, well organized, and seems to be running very efficiently. Definitely best place I’ve been to in Minnesota, and I’ve been looking for a the last eight years from Duluth to the cities. I will definitely make a point whenever I’m in town to stop by and see her.

I got my hair trimmed and colored yesterday from box color to blonde. I have long, thick hair that I was extremely anxious about all breaking off. Josie made me feel understood and she was very intentional with everything she did, which made me feel very trusting. My hair is still long, now blonde, and feels great & HEALTHY! (which I have never experienced after bleach!) Also need to add she never made my thick hair feel like a burden. I will be back!

The stylist was very friendly and knew what she was doing. She was very good at asking if I was okay with how it was looking as she went and willing to do a little more if I asked. I only wish they had the option of just doing a quick cut with the sissors (they do with the razor) for a cheaper price. Where I usually go this is what the lady does - I wash my hair before I get there, and she sits me down and cuts my hair in 10-15 minutes and charges me half of what I paid here. If they offered something close to this I would switch and come here each month instead of just on the months that the regular lady (who is a ways out of town) is not working on the days that I go to get my nails done. I just cant afford double the price each month. But they do an excellent job, it is a good atmosphere and the price is very comperable for other places withing the Twin Cities area.

I brought my girls for “real haircuts” and first time highlights as a special girls’ day treat. Jadah and Jenny made them feel so beautiful and special. We will definitely be back!

I love this salon and have used it for more than 15 years. (My stylist is Cassie and I see Kim for nails.) The staff is professional and friendly and I am always satisfied with my haircuts and nails.

Awful. Went there to get my hair straighted and left a complete frizz ball. I have natural curly hair and the stylist completely overdried it and brushed it out witha really coarse brush...when I asked for a round vented brush she didnt have one I left before she could dry it our anymore. Ill never go back there

This was my first time visiting the salon and I had a foil, root touch up and haircut. Janet was my stylist and I thought she did a great job of really listening and understanding what I was trying to achieve. She is also a great conversationalist and there were no uncomfortable silences. I am usually not a big talker with new people but the conversation was easy and light. I did not feel pressured in any way to buy products. I was ready for a better shampoo/conditioner and Janet talked me through the best options based on what was going on with my hair. Salon is bright and cheery.

Just got my hair fixed by Jordan (totally botched it myself at home). I got a cut and style, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She also took the time to ask me questions about what I want, and about myself. I love how it looks and feels! Its so soft and fresh now! Thanks Jordan, Ill see you later!

Josie was amazing as always!! Shes not only a great stylist but shes a great person. Shes been cutting my hair for a couple years and recently granddaughters had haircuts with Josie and she was so kind and patient. Ive also had manicures and pedicures that were great.

I would like to give accolades to Christina C. She took extra time to make sure my 16-year-old son was happy with his haircut, knowing how particular he is regarding his hair. She stayed late to make sure he was happy with his haircut, even allowing him breaks in between to style it how he liked. Teenagers are more particular than anyone, and I appreciate that Christina understood the angst. She also took the time to educate my 11-year-old daughter on how to avoid chlorine damage in the future and how to care for her hair (it’s never right when it comes from Mom 😉). Thank you from the bottom of my Mama Bear heart. One of these days, I’ll be back for my own royal treatment!

Jennie was so accommodating and patient with my elderly mother. She took her time and worked with her to determine what would be the best cut for her. She was also very sweet to my mom who can be a hard sell, but walked away really liking her haircut and Jennie!

Snips is my go to for all things estheticians. Harley and Laura are two very talented ladies with genuine passion for what they do. I see Laura for waxing and make-up for 10 years now. You really cant find anyone better. Harley is so great at what she does. I recieve monthly facials from her and she has absolutely transformed my skin for the better.

Great professional team. Love the facility, the services, and the people. Always leave with a great cut and style. Super relaxing experience with the scalp massages too. Granddaughter loved her color and cut too. Thanks team!

Janet was the BEST! I’ve been to Snips before but Janet was by far the best stylist I have ever seen. Super friendly and funny, made my time there fun and she made sure I ended up with a result I loved. I honestly could never go anywhere else. Sara knows my hair more than any other stylists I have ever been too. Saying she is amazing would be an understatement. She is so patient and takes her time and I appreciate that SO MUCH. Striving for Perfectionism is definitely something that is valued here. Sara has never disappointed and went above and beyond what I wanted for my hair. The check in staff are wonderful too, always so friendly and sweet! Went to Snips to work with Christina! She was incredibly knowledgeable, positive, and fun to work with!HOT TAKE! It was such a privilege to work with someone who had so much knowledge and experience with textured hair types! She got me on a shampoo/conditioner/wash routine that has my hair feeling lighter than a dream and my curls have never been so luscious and defined! The girls at Snips are so great and very sweet! Got a pedicure here the other day by Jada and her attention to detail was so thoughtful, she really took her time and my feet feel soft as baby skin even a week later. I must add that the decor is AMAZING so bright and warm, I love the modern colors and beautiful jungly splashes of green and the textured moss frames, the peacock, the wallpaper.. I can tell this design was thought out by a professional and I feel so comfortable letting the artist here take total control because obviously to work in a salon that gorgeous you have to be on your A game! I will be coming back!

I began going to this Salon a few months ago. Vivian is my new hair stylist at Snips. She is fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about her work, and skilled! I have also gotten a pedicure done by Vivian. It was relaxing, the pedicure looked great, and the pedicure tools and salon were spotless.I just got a facial for the first time at Snips with Amanda. It was incredible! Talk about relaxing. Also - she was extremely knowledgeable about skin care products. She was attentive, customer focused, and knew the importance of balancing providing useful information while allowing quiet time to relax during the facial. Needless to say, I booked another facial for February with Amanda!I highly recommend giving this Salon a try! I will definitely be visiting Vivian and Amanda in the near future.

I had a wonderful experience with Sarah Margaret. Ive always stayed away from hair cuts and color since Ive always had trouble finding the right stylist that can work with my curly hair. Sarah did an amazing job cutting my hair to the perfect length and giving me the color I envisioned! I will definitely be coming back in the future!

This was an amazing find! A very nice Salon and Spa at reasonable prices. When you walk in you are greeted with a friendly face and very attentive employees. Ive been happy with my color and cut both times I have gone. I plan on trying other services as well in the future. They obviously work very hard at making this an establishment where one feels relaxed and catered to. It is clean and comfortable. I love that they have proper Furniture to wash your hair and not leave you in an uncomfortable position.

I love Christina, she is the only one who does exactly what I ask her to do with my hair. I have been dealing with hair loss for over a year now and I am so glad I found a hairstylist who genuinely cares about her clients. My hair is so fine and fragile. And with Christina, my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. Also, I had a bad hair dye when the salons opened from someone else and Christina helped me correct it. Wish I would have waited until she was available to dye my hair. She is so kind and honest. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair anymore.

Snips was awesome. They took extreme caution to be clean and courteous about germs and making sure everyone was healthy. Erica was super helpful in choosing a style right for me especially since it had been nine months since my hair had been cut and she daw and worked very well with my cowlick. She is my new stylist for sure.

I called the Bloomington Snips Salon inquiring about getting a hair color. The woman I spoke to was extremely rude. She was cutting me off when I spoke and very unhelpful. I was excited to go to this Salon but I can assure you that I will never go. At the end of the call I started saying “thank you for your help, I really appreciate your time.” She just hung up on me. I called back to get her name because I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. Her name was Becky. I never leave poor reviews but I feel a strong urge to post because no one should treat people that way especially in the service industry.

I absolutely love my facials with Shannon. She is inviting, warm and caring; and, above all that, she is knowledgeable and stays current in her field. The whole experience with Shannon is so relaxing and my skin always feels great long after my appointment. She is top notch!

I had a really good experience and conversation at Snips salon. This was my first visit and it was very pleasant. My stylist was Jadah. She was helpful and understood my situation. Jadah also took me through the salon, showed me around, and explained the different services of the salon. I will be back!

Sarah C. has been my stylist for years. She is absolutely fantastic with what she does and is willing to put in the extra time and work to make sure that you get the exact look that you are aiming for. She has done some amazing fashion colors for me that ended up being way more creative than what I had envisioned for myself. To top it off she does AMAZING cuts on kiddos too (even the fidgety ones), so she can literally be the stylist for your whole family! I love how easy it is to get booked for services with Snips too! I have yet to have anything but good things to say about this salon and my favorite stylist! Lastly, they have made fabulous accommodations for the COVID-19 pandemic including limiting entry within the salon (1 adult can enter per minor child), screening at the door for symptoms, and providing sanitizer upon entry to the facility. 5 STARS!

Ive been seeing Sarah C for a few years now. After going to many salons in the twin cities for years before that, I was never quite happy with the color of my highlights. Sarah gets exactly what Im looking for every time. She takes her time in perfectly placing foils or blending in my regrowth with a great balayage and babylights. She gives the best head massages and always styles my hair after a cut, leaving me looking and feeling great. The price is also great compared to many other places Ive been in the twin cities.

Lauren D. is fabulous! I look forward to having her cut and color my hair every time. Her ideas are great and shes wonderful about suggesting changes and providing direction when Im not sure what I want to do. Snips is lucky to have her. Im a huge fan.

Due to lifes distractions I put off writing my review for Christina Carters pedicure. I meant to write one right away about her wonderful customer service, her engaging personality, and the pure enjoyment of my time at Snips. Not only did we have a great conversation, including some laughs, but my feet felt great and my toes looked fabulous. What inspired my to write this review today was that I noticed my fingernails needed a manicure, done a day before my pedicure, but at my usual salon which didnt have time for both appts. However, my toes are still looking AMAZING!!!! I dont need a pedicure yet, and by the looks of my feet I will be able to go a few more weeks at least! Christina is definitely worth a trip to Snips!!!!

Kim, the massage therapist easily deserves 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Highly recommend!! 😍However, due to recent downsizing & renovations, the general aesthetic is less than pleasing. The paint color for the massage room is a dark depressing green. It makes the room feel smaller too. Theres also a full length mirror now...Ive never seen a full length mirror in a massage room before 😲!The coat rack, chandelier, and hanging decor piece in the waiting room are all poison oak inspired...???Not a fan😒.Whoever they hired to (re)decorate, didnt do a good job. I miss how Snips looked before the remodel 😔.

I can’t say enough good things abut Snips Salon. Vivianne did my hair, cut and colored it. She’s very knowledgeable, extremely friendly & professional. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel like family.My daughter, who is active military, went to get her hair cut while she was on leave. Vivianne cut her hair and refused to charge her.I love Snips and have found my forever salon!!

Another great experience at Snips. I enjoyed a facial & waxing with Shannon followed by a manicure with Erica. Snips has been my go-to place for all of my spa & salon services for years. It’s a great relaxing escape from all the craziness in the world these days & they are overly cautious in keeping their clients & staff safe during the pandemic. Christina at Snips SpaSalon is FABULOUS! The whole place is, actually. Everyone is nice, friendly, helpful and the dont push sales on you. My hair was growing out in a strange way, and it had this odd tint to it. I went to Christina and asked her to help. My hair is now a very nice cool blonde color and I love the cut!! Then I asked her to help me with my eyebrows (because I have to color them in every day or it looks like I dont have any). She shaped and tinted them and now no one asks if I have eye brows! I HIGHLY recommend Snips of Bloomington!!

I asked for a manicure, thinking that they would ask if I wanted acrylics or not, (which they didnt), and then it ended up being natural nails. I said it was fine that she painted my natural nails, but when she finished painting the first hand, I thought to myself my two year old sister could do better than this kind of job. I was so aggravated with the results, that I just had to leave (obviously paid..... 32 for my right hand). Never coming back here again...

I did not have a great first experience - I think the stylist was rather new - told me her scissors had a nick in them and needed to borrow someone elses, kept asking me how I wanted this part cut, and was very unsure of herself in making color choices - over processed my hair so it is a bit damaged now. I found out that she no longer works there and my son wanted a fun summer style so I thought i would try again. The stylist had a GREAT personality - really - great with my son but the cut is wildly uneven - the left side is lower than the right and it is just not at all the picture that we provided. The colorist who dyed his hair blue didnt wash out the blue nearly enough - he had lots of it left on his skin and dark blue streaks of color running down his face when sweating at soccer a couple hours later. bummer because I love the location and the ambiance. I will see if they will fix it and make it right.

Shannon is fabulous. Ive seen her for 14 years at Snips in Bloomington for facials, face, arm, and bikini waxing services. The treatments are always customized to whatever is going on with my skin at that moment. She uses quality products and really knows the best approach to help keep skin looking young and glowing. Shes always up on the latest skin care trends & treatments. Im always impressed with results and products I purchase there. The Bloomington location is easy to get to, with ample parking.

Kaitlyn is the best. She is the only person I will let color my hair. She is creative and always offers suggestions. My color turns out beautiful every time. She is very talented and you can tell she loves what she does.

Sarah Margaret is the BEST hairstylist! She has single handedly turned my hair into the healthiest it has been, and maintained it that way for years. From balayage, blonde, brunette, bangs, deep conditioning, and more. Shes honest, kind, and trustworthy. No matter what youre looking for, Sarah is your girl.

Poor customer service. The salon sent me several text and email confirmations only to have no record of my appointment when the day finally came. I won’t be visiting again.

Recently had a full foil done by Vivian. Great friendly environment. Clean and very comfy salon. Greeted at the door, took my coat and hung it up. Was pleased with my hair, the color was great and the cut was wonderful. Will go back for sure. Great experience!!

First time I went here Christine did my hair full foils and did such a great job. Second time I had to see Lauren because Christine wasn’t available and had to get my hair done ASAP. I was stuck at the salon for 4 damn hours and she had the foils in my hair for 2 hours literally burned my entire hair. I asked her for a trim and to even out my hair she literally took a snip here and there so fast not even doing a normal cut she charged me $50 for a damn trim REALLY??!!! They charge $50 no matter what kind of hair cut you get I just think that its ridiculous and feel like they are ripping customers off!!! Last but not least she charged me $180 total with hair cut included and burned my damn hair and didn’t get a hair cut I asked for. My hair looked so uneven even though I asked her to even it out I mean it was just a horrible experience and I will never go back!!! I first thought I found my go to place but I guess I was totally wrong!! Don’t waste your money on these unprofessional hair stylists that can damage your hair in a blink of an eye!

Ive been going to this salon for a while now. Sarah M. is a great hair stylist, and Sunni is a great person who does waxing. It also helps that they are located across the road from my condo. Sunni recommended a dry skin cream for my face, I bought it (thought it was a bit pricey), but the cream has been great, and despite the high price, it will last a very long time. I highly recommend this salon.As of now, Sarah M. has switched to her own salon with another stylist. Ive decided to go to their salon and not Snips for hair. I still see Sunni for her services at Snips.

Ive been going there for years. Cassie is amazing at hair and Vicky does an amazing job with nails. I go to them for every day beauty and theyve done a flawless job with helping me get ready for my wedding.

I have Kimberly do my nails. She is an artist, very professional and experienced. She also has a big heart and she has become a true friend. I highly recommend her.

Sarah Carlson is so personable, and listens to everything! Once she develops your vision with you she creates it. My color got so many compliments. 💜💜💜 if you need a color correction she is your girl!!

Shannon is amazing at waxing--and in general! The spa has a nice feel. Andrew is an incredible massage therapist too, who can also show demonstrate useful stretches to keep one feeling better between massages. (Prices are high here, though not higher than other places. Massages can be prepaid to get four for the price of three, which is a good deal.)

Have taken my 9 year old son here 3 times. Haircuts for him are $30. They don’t do a wash. The haircut was nice and they did a decent job but for $30, I atleast expect them to wash his hair. Unfortunately I won’t be returning. The price is too high for service rendered.

Horrible experience. I took my mom there for her birthday and her hair colorist did a great job on her however mine was awful. She turned my blonde hair into brown, the service took over 3 hours (I dont have long hair), she kept leaving to ask other hair colorists questions, and when I clearly told her that I didnt like the result, she told me to go home and wash my hair a few times. The lady who charged us for the services, charged us for the wrong services and wrong amounts. I was later contacted by the manager to pay for the correct services (which I found very unprofessional). I had to call 3 times to get ahold of the manager to let her know what transpired. Ive spent thousands of dollars turning my hair into a beautiful shade of blonde and this salon wrecked it. The manager made excuses for her employee and blamed it on a lack of communication between us. I showed the employee numerous photos of what I was looking for and clearly, it wasnt brown hair. This has been my first experience at a salon that was incredibly unprofessional, non-apologetic, and slow. I will never be going back here again.

Overpriced services offered here for the most part.The massage therapy department used to be top notch but they lost a bunch of people a few years ago because of the $120 they would charge for a 1 hour massage, the therapist only got $15-20.....after that the quality dipped a bit.The stylists are decent and seem to like what they do, but again, the prices for services are quite steep compared to other salons in the area.

Sarah C has always done an amazing job on my blonde balayage and beautiful full lash extensions! She really concentrates on what your looking for. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever ! Alex doesn’t know how to work with different textured hair like ppl of colored. Never going back. Beware there prices for hair styling says 50$ but they charge me over 100$ just for straighten

Walking into Snips is like walking into the Cheers bar for Norm - everybody knows your name and treats you like family!But really, the service I get here each and every time is beyond exceptional... And it doesnt matter what service you are coming in for: hair, nails, massage, facial, etc. The entire staff is AMAZING!

This salon has always surprised me with the pretencious façade it puts on...as if they were a sophisticated salon. I went in there to check on a product I could see in the window, and had my service dog with me and was immediately stopped from entering. The employee said that they dont have to allow service animals on the premises! I could not believe this. I have had a service dog for 16 years now and have never been denied access anywhere, which is the law. It shocked me quite honestly. I feel very discriminated against and will never give them my business!

Christine cuts and colors my hair. I have searched my entire life for someone who can get my hair right and I have found her! The service at Snips is excellent.

I received a partial foil with. deep conditioning. My hair looks great and feels very soft.

Appt. Canceled or stylist does not show up. Last three times my original stylist did not show up and had to have someone else cut and or color.

Sarah C. Is my go to stylist at snips. She always does an awesome job on my hair, whether it’s cut, color, or perming!

I would give it the lowest rating ever! My fiancé got her hair done and we had to go to another place to get it fixed that cost double what we payed for to get it done! I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would love a refund very much!

Everyone here is amazing. If you are looking for a spa/salon that will make you feel at home this is the place to go. All of their services are reasonably priced and are done well. Love it here!
