Tried out Ocean dream for the first time and definitely will be going back on a regular basis.The deep tissue massage was excellent, the masseuse asked several questions to make sure the massage was what I wanted and followed up during the massage to confirm pressure and style were good. It was also a good value.The spa is well lit, has modern furnishings, and very comfortable.Being 50, it is more difficult keeping my feet in good condition, so after the massage, I tried a pedicure for the first time. It was the best $40 I’ve spent in a long time.As an added bonus, if you are a Vikings fan, this is the place for you and you’ll see why as soon as you walk in the door.John

I was looking for a new salon as I was not happy with my old one. I stumbled across this salon and from the time I walked in the door I knew I made the right decision in coming here! The owner is so sweet and personable, and the other ladies that work there are awesome also! I had a wonderful pedicure and manicure. The atmosphere is very calming and very clean. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis for these services. I am also going to try a facial and a massage in the near future. I must definitely recommend going here!

Outstanding service. The deep tissue massage with the hot oil and hot towel was fabulous. She loosened up all my old stiff muscles and joints. The manicurist was very meticulous and a perfectionist, my nails are beautiful and with so many gorgeous color shades to choose from. Great hours and prices are reasonable 👍. Check them out!

This was my first experience, and it was above n beyond. I strongly recommend this place immensely. Very out of this world work, amazing, outstanding, and very professional and make you feel at home and take great care of their customers like family. I am glad i found this place, it was a blessing. Laura was very friendly and welcoming. My mom and I got pedicures and we are both very happy. I didn’t catch the name of who did my mom’s. Hannah was my pedicurist and she was great. They both did a really did a really nice job cleaning up our cuticles. Lots of fun colors to pick from!Lots of COVID precautions in place too. Great experience all around! Will definitely go back!

I was very impressed and happy with the services I went in for today. I believe I got what I asked for with exceptional care. It was honestly above and beyond. I am also a particular person when it comes to who touches my feet and I was able to truely relax and felt comfortable the whole time. For my first visit that was top notch. I also got an hour deep tissue massage. Laura was ahhhhhmazing, shes friendly, professional, hospitable and strong. I had to keep focused on my breathing to get through the deep tissue massage. Ive been dealing with some of my own life problems but I was able to forget about them, pamper myself with the help and love of Ocean Dream Massage Nails and Spa, Laura and her other staff, took great care of my needs. I highly, highly recommend you check this place out. Oh and the massage tables heat up... have never experienced that before.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had 2 different occasions. A wedding & a funeral, one week apart. Obviously needing color changes I walked In confidently being I just got my nails done last week and spent 100$, asking the lady for just a color change hoping to save money and most importantly time vs go through the process of a new set that I just didn’t need. Vs try to understand what it was I was requesting they asked me to leave with my nails 1/2 removed. Lol absolutely the worst nail salon I’ve ever been, also note I did make an appointment and the ladies acted as if I was a walk in and had no business being there.

I would definitely recommend this one. The owner was very nice and friendly. The place looks good, smells good.

I just wanna say I am thankful for the services I received here. The owner is such a sweetheart and funny also. She brightened my spirit on a day I was just depleted of everything. I left feeling better then I came and thats always the goal. She stayed open late and booked my massage last minute. She must of known I needed some TLC. She also gave me 15 extra minutes and refused the additional tip I offered. She inspired me with her testimony of being a single parent and business owner, and warned me of the many pebbles that are sure to come not only as a new business owner also as a fellow human. I just had my first massage with Laura after having weeks of lower back pain. She targeted my problem areas and truly reduced my pain significantly. I am SO thankful and I will be returning!!

I have had many wonderful visits here and have returned again and again because of how friendly and customer service oriented the owner, Laura, and her staff are, but I will not return. I went in for a full set (only) it took 2.5 hours! I was in the chair from 10:30 to 1. My nails are so misshapen Im embarrassed for anyone to look at them AND I was charged $70!!! Request Siri for nails and Phung for pedicures if you make an appointment.

I am so glad I stopped in. I was in such pain after work, and I took a chance. They were just finishing up with another client, so I got a pedicure while I waited. The pedicure was really good. The massage was worth the wait. I could almost walk without pain. I will be coming back. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Thank you!

Laura is truly the best. Flew into town and wouldnt go anywhere else. Convenient, personable and so good with deep tissue massage. I leave feeling better and knowing real healthful and therapeutic massage was delivered.

I walked out of my massage almost crying tears of joy, and Im not just being dramatic. Laura did for me what no other massage therapist has done, and in a single session.I was rear-ended back in 2016, and Ive had chronic pain in my back and hip ever since. The only things that have alleviated it are active physical therapy/workouts, and the occasional massage (at this point I have seen dozens of massage therapists over the years). The best therapists Ive seen have done pretty good work over a few sessions, but usually results arent too drastic.I honestly almost cried after I left. I keep relatively fit and limber, but after a single 90 minute session, I could move my leg and hips/torso (and even my arms, which she also worked on!) in ways I hadnt been able to since before the accident. I feel like Im floating; I can move without stiffness or even half as much pain!I will be going back to get rid of the rest of my awful chronic pain. I actually feel like I can become pain-free with some more work-- Im seriously blown away by Laura. If you have injuries or chronic pain, go see her.The salon is clean, beautiful, and comfy, and the staff are all sweet and attentive. They also have COVID-19 measures in place, and I felt very safe there. Laura clearly takes pride in her salon, and she should! Shes made a permanent customer out of me 😊

I received a wonderful therapeutic massage from Laura today! She was very attentive and did a wonderful job continuing to ask if there was enough pressure. She also made sure that the towels and the oils were the right temperature! Her salon was nicely decorated, neat and very clean. This was a first-class job! I will definitely go back!

I am in need of a new salon and after doing some research, I landed on Ocean Dream Massage. I called today to make an appointment for an acrylic removal and new set and was very perplexed by the response I received: they do not do acrylic nails. This is pretty confusing when its literally listed as a service they offer with pricing attached.Not sure if their website is out of date but if it is, I hope its updated soon to avoid this in the future.

I went in with a nagging neck pain that had been going on for 3 weeks. I have had other massages that have not touched it. I was greeted by a very professional lady, Laura(owner). Took my husband here for a massage. They took care good of him and his back. Other than the music glitching in and out, it was very relaxing. Pricing was a little high. But even for a half an hour massage, the lady deserved a tip.

I had gone to see my general physician twice but got zero relief from pain and had an ever growing numbness in my leg. Laura was amazing! She read my intake form and was very attentive to all the areas I needed help with. She truly gives the deepest deep tissue massage ever. It is unreal that such a petite, lovely woman can be so strong and give such a deep massage. I feel so much better than I did. She got to the root of my problems and helped me immensely. I live less than a mile away, so decided to take my mother to Ocean Dream for an early Mother’s Day celebration. I can’t say enough about our great experience! Laura, the owner was there to greet us and help us choose our polish color. She and her team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. They often checked in on temperature and whether we wanted a beverage. They took care with our service and getting to know us, as customers. Not only was the place lovely and clean, but my manicure and pedicure by Siri was top notch!!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this place.

I have been to Laura Pham twice for deep tissue massage. She does a GREAT deep massage, one of the best Ive ever had in over 25 years of getting professional massages. She is very attentive to the intake form so she knows which spots to focus on. I had some big knots in my back, shoulders, and legs and she smoothed them all out. The massage room was a comfortable temperature, not too cold or hot, and was soothing with candles for illumination. There are different lube options--I asked for unscented oil. Great experience, I will be back!

Laura does a good massage. I had been going to her for about a year. I would recommend her for deep tissue work. I should warn not to do her any favors for her or let her think you are her friend because her professionalism will drop and she will bother you every time you go in to do something for her. I helped her with her computer once and then she started asking me to do something for her almost every time I went in there.For example, she called me for a ride to the airport, asked to date her niece in Vietnam, set up her phone system, change her shower head at her home, help her buy a phone case online, help her with numerous computer related things, change her light switch, etc. She would of course start asking me to do things DURING my massage. I was always expecting her to offer me a discount on my massage or something be she surprisingly never did.I would say the most disrespectful thing was when she would take phone calls during my massage and massage me with her elbow while talking to a contract worker or her daughter. She once even handed me her phone during a massage and told me the display wouldnt turn on so I could try to figure it out while getting my massage. I laugh just thinking about this right now.Needless to say, I have had really good luck at Healthy Touch Massage and Wellness Center. They have been able to get out things that Laura couldnt. I dont fault Lauras skill I just think switching up massage therapists can be beneficial since different people can do different things for you. Finally, they never hassle me to do any weird favors for them and with a $10 tip and $1.50 for parking, I am still paying less than I did at at Ocean Dream.

Comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, nice and warm (which is important in the winter time when you’re on a table not wearing anything!), and Laura was friendly, professional, and has strong hands. She did a better job on my chronic aches and pains than anyone I have seen in years. Highly recommended.

The Deep tissue massage was just right. It broke up knots and returned some range of motion in my neck. I did not feel like I was bruised the next day but the results were wonderful.I went back later during a stressful time and had a relaxation style massage. Also very nice. My daughter went in for her first massage with a gift card that had been purchased as a gift to her. The owner was late for the massage and then continued to answer her phone during the massage booking other clients as well as conversations with her daughter No sound machine was used so you could hear everybody coming in.Horrible experience my daughter should have never given her the nice too that she did. Tweeked my back a week ago and struggled to get comfy sitting, standing, or laying down. I work with infants so theres no rest to feel better. Laura did a number on me in the best way. Got rid of all my knots, and there were a lot. Well worth it!

My left hip has bothered me since last spring and after receiving physical therapy for it the physical therapist suggested that getting occasional deep tissue massage in addition to doing my exercises would be helpful. I have been seeing Laura at Ocean Dream Massage once every couple weeks since and her deep tissue massage technique is very similar to that my physical therapist used. She listens to my description of the problem and modifies the massage accordingly spending extra time on the area that has been bothering me. Her pleasant demeanor and overall attractiveness are an added bonus. My hip though still not 100% is much improved from where I was at back in May of this year. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being best and 10 being worst I would say that thanks to my physical therapy exercises in combination with Lauras deep tissue massage I have gone from about an 8 back in May to maybe a 2 or 3 now. Thanks!

I have a number of problem in my lower back that message cant fix but after an extended period of lower back related pain, I had stiffness and tension throughout my back and down to my hamstrings. After an hour of deep tissue message, I could stand and walk comfortably for the first time in a week. Id recommend Laura to anyone. It was money well spent.

The massage person stopped my massage several times for phone calls and to go up front and talk to walk ins. Very disruptive.When I explained at the end that I was unhappy about the constant interruptions the person got defensive. Then she asked me for a bigger tip!!! Never had that happen!!

I went to Ocean Dream Massage for the first time today. The owner was very professional and the massage was fantastic! Before going my lower back was giving me some pain but after I did not feel any pain at all! The deep tissue massage was really beneficial for me! I would recommend Ocean Dream Massage to anyone that is either having muscle/back pains or if you just want to feel very relaxed and relieve some stress.

Go see Laura at Ocean Dream for a really good deep tissue massage. She doesnt fool around. If you have tight muscles, she will find them. Studio was new and clean, parking easy, staff friendly and professional.

I had Laura as my Masseuse. She ended up being over a half hour late for the appointment. And they were having issues with their Wifi, which meant no music, which meant I could hear everything going on in the main entrance (conversations, phone ringing, doorbell). And on top of that, she took phone calls and answered text messages while she was massaging me. I felt very uncomfortable, almost like I was a intruding on her time in the office rather than getting a relaxing massage. After all this, she didnt even offer me a discount or anything, even though I was very obviously displeased with the service. The price I paid was not worth the service I received.I will not be returning to this spa.

My reservations are honored.Its been challenging for me to find a salon in Bloomington/Edina which provides excellent service, doesnt ignore that I made an appt ahead of time and has reasonable prices. I find all 3 to be true at Ocean Dream Massage, Nails & Spa.

Wow! If you are in the Twin Cities, you NEED to make a stop here. Laura was so patient and empathetic in getting me exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting and the service felt personal. A blissful experience!

I see Siri for manicures and pedicures regularly and always recommend her to friends. Shes a perfectionist and amazing at her craft. The salon is always extremely clean and ready for services. Cant recommend enough!

Had a great deep tissue massage from Laura - if you have a knot she WILL find it - followed by a fantastic and beautiful pedicure from Siri. Lovely relaxing afternoon off work!

Lukewarm experience. Pedicure was standard, manicure was substandard. They sent me out with bubbles and thin spots in the paint and left paint on my fingers. It wasnt a terrible experience, but I wouldnt recommend it.

Seemed like the owner/massage therapist was discussed, she put a hot towel on my back then left the room don’t return until it was cool, I never experienced that before during a massage. I was very disappointed in her service.

Have you ever felt like you’re at the ocean in the middle of Bloomington, MN? Well, without a 4 hour flight you walk in this doorway and the decor brings you all the way to the beach. Started off with a deep tissue massage and walked out a new person without a 7 day super expensive vacation. Treat yourself! This place treats you better than those national chains for a better price.

I laied on the table for about 10 minutes before she came in. Once in, all she talked about was viking and football plus she answered the phone twice. My 1 hour was 45 min at best.

Just enjoyed my first massage by Laura and I left in much better shape than when I walked in. Got me in right away, was very friendly and Im looking forward to next time. ;)

I brought my fiance for his birthday and we both had one of the best massages weve ever had! We also got pedicures after and the service was great!

The only thing I like was the cleanness and the friendly owner, but unfortunately other then that, I was promised that my nails would not chip and they only lasted a couple of days. Also, they pretty much forced me to tip more then I wanted to. the prices for pedi and mani are over priced, I can get the same for less. I do not recommend this place ☹

Very unsatisfied with my nails ,I usually see Siri, but since she wasn’t Available I had another lady do my nails ,let’s just say each nail looks different and they are all different lengths.
