Love the 331 club always playing great live bands and great service! Eldest Daughter played there and it was amazing to see them supporting up and coming local artists.
It’s hard not to like this place! If you’re from out of town, check it out! The staff, the talent of all levels on stage, Jason and the other person (Im so sorry I forget your name!) really know how to squeeze every once out of that PA! Every time we see him or her, we know it’s going to sound good. (Some band’s gear can overpower the sound beyond the control of the audio op too, no joke) My small group of friends and I are starting be become regulars now, never seen a “bad” show, worst is ever “not my jam”, so looks like they book well. Granted a touch more local hip hop, rap, electronic would be sweet, but still, always a good time here! TIP WELL! They deserve it.
Local watering hole / music venue. Maybe the tightest place to see live local music in Mpls without a cover (tip the band!). Last night, I watched a four man combo with a vibraphone. They knew how to smooth out all the kinks. The crowd appreciated the weeknight wonder. Bar pizza, order better from next door.
Did not order food but people close to our table did. What they have is pizza and that is all. Nice atmosphere. Live music. Quick service from bartenders.
One of my favorite dive bars in Minneapolis. It can be loud when a band is playing, but you can go outside on the patio for a quieter area. They do drinking spelling bees, which are are pretty fun.
Quintessential NE Minneapolis establishment. Live music most nights, reasonably priced drinks, relaxed neighborhood vibes. Cant ask for more.
Live music was great!!! Drinks were fantastic!! If your not drinking beer, the tequila sundown and daquiri were delicious, not what I was expecting!!! Not too sweet but steering and refreshing. It was really busy but service was still quick. Chill fun and upbeat atmosphere at night with the live music! Nice patio area to go get some fresh air and enjoy the weather. I wish this place was a little bigger but overall I like a smaller dive bar over some big club anyway. Also the people I met were great, thats Northeast for ya!
I got permanent hearing damage at this bar due to how loud the music is. I recommend you avoid or at the very least wear earplugs.
Ive wanted to like 331, but Im always met with rude and slow service from the bartenders. Drinks are above average pricewise for NE.
Weve only ever been around when theyre serving pizza so I cant offer more insight to my rating than fact that its hard to mess up frozen pizza. Service by Michelle, Sam, Sarah, and Kelly was great. Atmosphere is fun but always crammed for space. Live music is always fun regardless of talent levels.
Went to see live music - the stage is so tiny some of the band was on the floor, which made the performance feel like part of the audience! Lots of drink selections across all budgets. Lots of cool folks who were friendly, and the staff were solid.
Michelle is the best bar tender!! My girlfriend and I had so much fun on her birthday!
Great little bar in NE, they seem to have a good schedule with events and local music, great selection of local brews and cocktails!
Felt respected as a customer. Please dont 86 people out over politics or beliefs
The 331 Club is a good dive with live local music. They have a solid sound system with a well stocked bar. It’s generally pretty full and it’s not an easy to move around layout but it doesn’t need to be. The stage is high so you can see from anywhere. The room is small enough that you can hear from anywhere. It’s a very easy spot to get to by bus or car service. Parking is limited but easy a couple of blocks away.
Great dive bar, always have good music, drinks were perfect.
Great local bar with great staff, and live music nearly every day. Easily top three amongst the dozen or so other bars within a mile
Always a delightful time at 331 Club. Love the staff, love the bands. Happy to be part of the crowd at 331 Club always.
Understand that youre going to a dive bar. If you understand what that entails, youll be fine. If youre from the suburbs and youve lived your whole life there, you may not realize what youre getting into. Good beer list, tolerable food easily available, and my favorite semi-surly staff in the whole, wide world. Trivia on Friday nights is exceptional.
One of my favorite places! Great live music, atmosphere, bartenders, beer selection, and people! Always a good time!
Great food and atmosphere with good service plus great company make this a place to go to again and again! 😎
Great small concert spot, a fav for end of night. Classic Minnesota bar pizza, grest drinks, usually a fun act on stage.
Enjoyed a cocktail with a friend before trivia started. If you like dive bars, this is a good bet.
Free music every night of the week. great staff! they have expanded their patio to the side and the back of the building. They also own the Sheridan Room next door (good food!) Jason is usually running sound and a great resource for the pulse of the Minneapolis music scene. highly recommended!
Best music venue in the Twin Cities!
Cheap drinks and a fun, chill environment. i love the lavender lady
With no cover for the daily live music going on here, the 331 is a great place to stop in and warm up if youre roaming the area and exploring the breweries/restaurants around town. Drinks are alright and so is the price. Serviceable smoking patio. One glaring problem with this place is it takes a long time to get a drink at the bar on a busy weekend night.
I visited this bar for the first time and enjoyed the moment. The place is a little bit narrow and I find the seating full. It is crowded with live music at that time. After having a few drinks of beer, I had the quesadilla, some chips, and salsa. The food is average but the bartender and the DJ are so cool!
Live music good food great drinks! 🥤 see you at the 331! ⛸️🥌🛷🪀🎾⚽️see you in hell 😜🤪🤨🥰😘🥳😉love you!
They have predictably good pizza, awesome bartenders and the best music
Great atmosphere, cozy and welcoming. Great service from Sarah, great vibe, great music, stiff drinks.
Great food, great service...but the sound guy was more interested in his texting. The vocals were mixed so loud, that they were distorted. Ive been to thousands of local shows, but this was a first. It was a free cover, so I shouldnt complain. Heard plenty of loud shows at the Uptown, but never distorted vocals, kinda ruined the music (Valet 8/6).
Working-class are strongly encouraged to provide their business to this establishment in particular.👍🏻👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
Was told months ago I argued with a bartender when I didnt and got off a 10 hrs shift today only to be told I look like Im on something and I was to drunk last time when I only had 3 drinks and didnt mess with or talk to anyone. I usually just people wat h when i drink. If your looking for an awkward experience amongst young liberals who are literally on something or begging to mess with you in the restroom. Go here. This is your spot
Typical grungy NE bar with live music! Depends on the date but music can vary drastically
Awesome dive with live music! 331 Club is a great place to enjoy a craft brew while listening to live music! Its a small venue and can get loud, so plan accordingly.
Roe Family Singers are great. Servicers were wonderful, but under staff. The decor was tasteful, but dated. Atmosphere was the best part, it was packed with a nice mix of people 21 to 50+. Ill have to try the food next time Im there.
Amazingly great, little (and when its packed I do mean little) bar with a huge personality. Staff was great especially with dealing with so many people the night I went which was on the Drunk SPelling Bee night they had with Trivia Mafia. Had a great time but I recommend getting their a bit early if an event is going on so you can get a table or spot at the bar because it can fill up fast.Made my night mostly when the very kind bar tender helped me get some cash for the Drunk Spelling Bee after their ATM broke down. I feel like an ass because I didnt remember to tip her at the end of the night after I got a bit tipsy and my group took off from the big crowd. If anyone from 331 Club is reading this, Im coming back and will tip for that night. Thanks for the great work you all do.
My fiancée and I wandered in one night after hearing dance music thumping through the door of a seemingly divey bar and decided to check it out. To our amazement, it was the best nerd party we had ever seen and had to quickly join. Normal people just dancing and having fun to terrible top 40 music. The testosterone levels were low and most people werent even touching each other. Just good people being goofy.
Have had the best customer service with the bartender- I want to say I heard his name is Nick? Hes great! Such a chill personality and so personable.
After the doorman checked my ID, his smoker friends blew smoke in my face repeatedly and blocked the door. Didnt move when I asked. Doorman laughed and didnt tell them to move. Eventually I was able to force the door open and squeeze in. I wouldve given up and left but I was there to see my friends band. Probably wont go back.
I always have a great time when I visit the 331. The drinks are poured well, and the live music is great. The outdoor area is enticing, and inside has a great vibe.
Great selection of beer on tap. Delicious reuben sandwich. Daily drink specials.Make sure to visit Monday nights to experience the Roe Family Singers.
Nice Bar to walk to in Nordeast!
I have been here a few times now and absolutely love the atmosphere in this bar. I highly recommend it to just go grab a beer and listen to some local music. Very comfortable atmosphere and there is a juke box in the womans bathroom! :)
Im not a bar fan, but the atmosphere at 331 is so friendly and fun I dont mind that its a bar. Live music every night, fun events, great deals on drinks, a cozy feel and not depressing at all.
Old school bar with a healthy local music angle. I go every January for Brianna Lanes musical residency. I think they upped their food game. Had a decent burger at the bar.
A dive bar that is pretending to be a downtown destination bar. Meaning: dark, dank, shabby place that attracts a bunch of pretentious starving artists, hipsters, and posers wearing their finest thrift shop treasures. Crap music is so loud it will make your ears bleed. Dont get me wrong, I *love* a good dive bar. This is *not* a good dive bar.
This clubs bouncer antagonized and beat a woman so hard she needed paramedics. Woman was simply standing around being friendly while drunk, not belligerent, not rude, just drunk near a club. An ambulance had to be called and the bouncer laughed in her face. The owner has refused to fire the violent bouncer and is now trying to blame the whole thing on this poor girl. A police report is being filled. Dont go here unless you feel like getting attacked at random by the staff that are supposed to be keeping the peace.
Nice mellow dive bar with a neighborly feel. Great place to relax with friends and enjoy the local color and home spun, quirky music acts.
There was a guy doing techno music. It was pretty cool to watch.
Classic dive in the best way. Good price on drinks. Clean bathrooms. Grungy but not dirty. The patio want bad. All around solid place.
I got drunk here and started checking IDs at the door. They just asked me to stop and didnt kick me out. That was nice of them. Bathrooms are gross.
Horribly slow and incredibly rude bartenders. Suuuper sensitive so watch what you say. This is only your place if you want to feel like you’re on the outside looking in.
A Minneapolis music and bar institution. A place Ill never stop frequenting. One the better places to see music in the twin cities. Tacos arent all that bad either!
Solid place to duck into in the summer months if your in the neighborhood to tour NE. Music can quickly get loud in the small room though.
Great happy hour with sandwiches from next door. This place is an actual dive but with clean bathrooms. Music or triva most nights on the stage.
Great old school venue for drinks and music. Another of the NE places where you will see just about any and every kind of person at some point. It always seems like its dark inside.
Great concert venue and cold drinks.
The bartender (tall, shorter curly black hair, glasses) either hates his job or hates non locals. total ass. rude. other than that, its a cool bar.
Fun place for local music
Dive bar + live music 7 nights a week. What’s not to love? One of the gems of Northeast
Just your run of the mill dive bar. Not really a destination worth going to unless you live in the area. They do have trivia on Sundays, though, which is nice.
Amazing atmosphere! Alicia was great:) Also a very convenient charging station for out-of-towners
A real, hometown bar. Seems like everyone is welcome, and they have live music!!!
Down home atmosphere, good bands, no pretentiousness. They have clean tap lines too, which is a good thing.
We had a reservation so that we could sit on the patio and watch the live music show. When we arrived, the tables were full, and they told us that they were no longer taking reservations.
Only ever been here a few times for their Saturday night spelling bee, but the bartenders are always nice and prompt!
Fantastic bar, Tuesdays 6 to 8 are a a gem!
I just stopped there briefly to see if it was a good place to listen to live music on week nights. I like the small home town environment, so Ill return soon.
Friendly atmosphere. Great live music!
Great place to see up and coming bands, good sound, great happy hour that supports local beer!
Pretty much my favorite bar.
Always have good music, but on separate occasions, the bartenders have avoided serving me.
Matt Arthur made my night. Service at the bar was great too
Free live bands. Small space, but decently priced drinks. Trendy place.
Fantastic bar, good craft beer list, live music all the time
Awesome people and free music every-night. Best servers/bartenders in the city.
Toxic male management. males can get away with verbally/physically assaulting women after reporting to management.
Favorite trivia spot in town, good drink specials and great live music.
Like the live music every night and cheap drinks, food available. Mild artsy crowd
Small, cozy NE dive bar with live music every night and no cover charge.
Best bar in Minneapolis hands down ✓
Great late night spot. Very hip. Live music most nights. Usually folk music.
Awesome divey little bar that has music and trivia nights which are fun.
Great beer selection. Fun staff. Good music.
331 Club: Never A Cover - a great place to check out some local music and grab a drink just about any night of the week. Not much more to it than that.
Free music, good prices, great tacos, and relaxed neighborhood-friendly atmosphere.
The worst service I have ever had. Waited in line for at least 15 minutes and when I got to the front was ignored for another 10. Finally just left.
The $3 draft special sounded nice, but before I could go in the manager harassed me for working on a political campaign.
Michelle is one of the finest bartenders in the metro!
Just a super bar, no frills but great prices service and tap selection
Great on a Tuesday night. Friday nights here are a great example of why I work Friday nights instead of going out.
Busy but fun, nighttime music spot. Great patio.
You denied my friend service because he has bad eyesight and couldnt read your specials board. super messed up!!
We had a great time in this quaint, low- key, high-energy joint. Great service and great company!
Its small but the band Free Wheelers was very good!
Long live 331 Club. Awesome place for happy hour.
Love cheap drinks and live music!
Trivia Mafia Friday was so much fun!
Best sound man in the biz
Seems trying to order and pay was an imposition on her. Ignored and treated like crap (again) -heck, we get enough of that at our day jobs!
Chill vibe. Good jazz and happy hour prices were legit
Super dive bar. Drunken spelling bee, karaoke, you name it, 331 has it on there stage.
Cheap booze, friendly people and great music.
Local music and good beer selection. Divey.
Horrible as a minority I was ignored today by staff. Mainly white crowd, lots of discrimination
No cover for shows. Good selection of beers, too.
A unique live music club with great people and vibes.
Fun little place, but gets crowded on spelling night. hard to get around when its packed.
Absolute joke of a wannabe music venue. Dont waste your time.
Monday Nights with the Roe Family Singers is always a good time.
Live music every night. Never a cover. Friendly staff.
LOVE this place, weekly fun any night of the week.
Great music, especially Monday nights
Just like any honky tonk in Nashville, without the flight.
Great dive bar I would definitely go back to
Great venue committed to live music!
A cozy spot with great music & beer!
This is a true neighborhood haunt with great features and music.
Ive seen some great performances here
Best bar in Nordeast. Hands down.
Dont do their spelling bee, the purposely try to deceive you and even admit to it.
It is cheap. If they ever charge a cover go elsewhere.
Best Bluegrass every Monday!
Live shows Safe Northeast Minneapolis Institution
Friendly bar staff, cool interior
Great music. Packed on the weekend.
Favorite bar in mpls
Five stars for Laura and Sean.
Nice dive with a variety of music.
Chill bar with great music
Daily live music need i say more?
Fun trivia on Fridays!
Love 331
Great space
Great music spot!
Great beer selection
Its ok.
Go for blingo, stay for the drinks.
Gem... or just some sort of rock!
This place has my recommendation
Go for the drunken spelling bee.
Chill, darker atmosphere.
Just all around fun
Great music!
Neighborhood bar, par example
Iconic
LOVE the 331!
Hipster city.
Interesting place
Solid spot
Amazing open Mic night. Wesley is my hero!
Spanish below:Last Friday night one of my friends invited us to this brewery. It was my first time at this location and I was very pleased with the place, the atmosphere, the spaciousness of the place, the games section inside and outside the brewery, the bathrooms and all the activities they have. There was a Curly tournament, so we were able to enjoy a good time watching the registered teams compete. There was happy hour (from 8 to 11pm). Since the music was not loud at all, it made for very good conversation while we played cards. They close at 11, so you can prepare your visit, but I dont know if this is their regular schedule or if they have different hours on Saturdays. A 100% recommended place to go with friends or your partner.Last Friday night one of my friends invited us to this brewery.
