My husband and I stayed here for one night on the way back from our yearly camping trip at a music festival. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, that immediately put us at ease after a long day of travel, we had a restful nights sleep. The room was very spacious, clean and well-maintained. Our room even had a microwave. Rooms been renovated and modernised since under new management. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water—a definite plus after a day on the road. The room was quiet, allowing us to unwind and relax without disturbance.The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out seamless and hassle-free.Overall, our experience at the hotel exceeded our expectations for a budget-friendly accommodation. I would not hesitate to stay here again during our future travels and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay.
When I arrived with my son, the clerk was very nice and said the only rooms they had available were the extended stay rooms. She said they gave alot more wear and tear, but they were in the process of changing out the linens to better ones. She said I could go look at the room first or she could just approve a refund, even though it was non refundable. She said all I had to do was call Expedia, tell them what happened and Expedia would reach out to them, and the refund would be authorized because it was the hotels fault. I waited 4 days, called Expedia about it and they said the manager did not approve the refund. I cant find a number to the actual hotel, I know the managers name is Mishra, and thanks, Mishra, now I am out 160.00 for something I had absolutely no control over. Your hotel is dirty and disgusting.
The room was spacious and the hotel is pet friendly. Because I traveled with a small dog, I asked for a do not disturb sign which they could not find. I asked for 2 towels which never came. Housekeeping did not come which I presume was bc I had asked for the do not disturb so I asked the night attendant for toilet paper, trash bags and 2 towels. He was able to help me with the first two items but still could not find access to the towels. Thank goodness I had a beach towel in my car...
First glance, I jokingly asked me husband what kind of place he was taking us to - the building was being borded up like an abandoned building. We both didnt realize that was the hotel...Lots of smells from bug spray to smoke to mold. Floor feels sticky. Rooms are ok - desk, fridge, microwave. Some linens stained. Dead bugs on the floor and bug parts where the towel holders are but at least no live ones. Pipe under bathroom sink leaked. TV wouldnt load most channels. Really good hot water in the shower. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet all night (didnt hear neighbors).All in all a bit of a rougher stay BUT the guy at reception will let you switch out a room if there is something wrong. It just has to be done in the first 15 minutes - we switched out one because the TV and remote werent working.
Jerry was very helpful at checkin. This is definitely a budget motel, but not terrible. There aren’t many amenities like a fridge or coffee maker, but the AC works great, the room is clean and a decent tv. My only frustration was it was very difficult to figure out where this place is located! There is a small sign at the street that is really difficult to notice.
DO NOT EVER BOOK A HOTEL WOTH OYO MONA LAKE MICHIGAN. We booked a room days ago from South Carolina. (14+ hour trip) and got here last night and they refused us saying they had no vacancy even with our confirmation number. The front desk guy said the manger has to issue the refund at 8am. That he has to tell several others the same thing. Well here it is 12 and still no refund. We go back to the front desk because booking said they charged us a no show fee. These ppl won’t refund our money cuz the manger above them has to do it but she can’t be contacted. All the mangers and front desk staff is rude. Online still says they have vacancies but the sign on the door says otherwise
Its a little far from the areas hotspots, but its a real bargain. Youre not going to find a better deal in the area. Dont let the facade freak you out. Its clean and safe. Highly recommended for the Bohemian wayfarer.
Staff was cool but the hotel is trash surrounded by crackheads/homeless people me and my girl literally checked in just to shower and checked out I’m a truck driver no truck stop was no where near had sign up say you FIGHT $250 fine damage room $250 fine late on weekly rate $250 fine and don’t clean up after pets $250 fine this place was sick I seen a lady standing in front of her door with nothing but bra and panties on SWEAR TO GOD!! Like she was ready to sale ewww!!! I booked this hotel through airbnb. When I woke up in the morning, I saw some roaches in the corner of the room which I let the host know about. I also was told through airbnb that my checkout time was at noon. I got a call at 1110 that said, I needed to be out of my room. I informed them that my booking said noon and she told me that I had to leave. When I stopped at the office on my way out I told her about the roaches, as advised by the host through airbnb and the service desk person said oh okay. Requested partial refund from host but they denied request so I had to take it up with Airbnb customer support.
The name on the sign was not the name in my reservation. That made it very difficult to find the hotel. When we arrived after 4 pm the room not ready. Also, we never got the wifi and they forgot to give us washcloths. I also couldnt find how to call the front desk. The room was OK and the bed was comfortable. However, another chair would have been very nice.
This place was not clean what so ever. The lobby smelled like marijuana. The name on the place does not match online. Stood in the doorway just to turn around and say nope this is not the place that we need for a family very creepy. Went to go get a refund. They do not offer refunds at all. This hotel is a very, very very low-grade would not recommend
This place reminds me of Herman Gardens projects in Detroit long ago.One way in and out.People everywhere.Loud af.Within 20 minutes a fight broke out.I got a rotten gallon of milk thrown at my truck the second I walked into the building.I pulled back the mattress cover and there’s blood all over the mattress.Clearly the batteries were stolen out of the remote control.Which had 3 layers of duct tape to prevent that.Smells terrible,looks terrible and not safe.There was a positive tho.After seeing people living there,I realized how great my dumpster fire of a life is.Could always be worse. Very horrible place to go. Very ran down!!! They took my reservations after 9am then I go in and they tell me I have to pay a $50 security deposit which is fine but I said I will pay it when my check-in time comes which is at 3:00 and he reported that I refused to pay my security deposit and a refuse to refund my money. Not only that the man behind the counter and the other guy behind the counter where staring at my teenage daughter and saying stuff to each other that I could not hear. Please keep your children away from this place. They have cockroaches and bed bugs and they will be getting investigated. I wish that I didnt have to put a one-star rating on this but I was forced to because I cannot put no stars.

Location is nice, not the greatest of areas as people would say. I had no issue walking around alone in a suit. Had a good time and would do it again. Stayed a week for under $300.
We showed up for a booking that was made months ago to this. Hotel. Was immediately told by counter staff that no rooms were available even though we had pre-booked and paid. This place is a dump. Do yourself a favor. Do not stay here.

I was appalled walking into my room seeing roaches the signs of my thumb nail running around. After refusing to accommodate me the water went out for 5 hours that I was there for… some people only get rooms for the shower? Nothing was accommodated for that. Not to mention the staff is completely unorganized and has no sympathy.
I’ve been here for two might out of my five day stay and not only have I been moved rooms twice in one day, one because they sent us to a DIRTY room and the first rooms vent leaked so much over night it flooded the restroom. When we finally got a room that was clean and not leaking, the hot water didn’t work. So now I’m im on my fourth room in 3 days. This is absolutely ridiculous! We also talked to the owner so said “everything is your fault so we won’t refund or discount you” that’s ridiculous!
Very nasty place. Rooms are mildew, have roaches. Staff is running around screaming and fighting owners and.other guest and staff. The maintenance is was walking around with out a shirt on and smoking some type of drug in a pipe. Housekeepers walking around drinking and smoking weed. Yelling screaming at other guest and staff. Parties and fighting at all hours of the night.
This place is in the ghetto and needs serious upgrades. They have full time living here which is the problemThey walked me $20 a night for my dog.The linens are dirty.

I want to give this place a 0 but I can’t so I’m gonna have to give it a 1. Whoever did the photos for this disappointing excuse of a hotel, did an amazing job. This hotel IS NOT LIKE THE PHOTOS!!! Sketchy parking lot, with low lighting everywhere. It looks clean and bright online just to find out when you drive across the state and pull up that it’s a trashy, low lit place with a new owner that is unprepared. The cleaning crew is completely under staffed as well and you can tell. Workers having to double or triple the amount of rooms each has to take care of and getting behind. My family got 2 rooms and we’re going to stay for 3 days. One room was worse than the other. Neither of our mattresses were clean, with dirt around the buttons. The towels were dirty (one had a black hand print still on it), when I asked for more towels I was told they might possibly be able to bring me towels the day I was to check out. smoke detectors hanging by their wires, writing on the bathroom doors like I was in a gas station, and dirt still all over the floor. They claim to have free open WiFi however nothing will be able connect to it. When trying to get a refund due to the conditions, Expedia charged us a giant fee making basically the price that it cost to stay there in the first place. I just wanted my money back for a place I couldn’t stay in!!!OYO needs to look into these guys!!!!DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Rooms were disgusting, we had to clean the bathroom when we checked in. The manager yelled at my spouse when we checked out and tried to refuse the return of our deposit because he said the room was messy after we left, apparently they expect customers to do their own housekeeping. I definitely recommend staying someplace else if possible.

Stagnant nasty air quality.Very rough and some disgusting parts.The pictures that are posted are a complete misrepresentation.It might have looked like the pictures 5-10 years ago.We didnt find bed bugs.But the mattress was stained and disgusting!No wash clothes in the room.Rust and mold/mildew in different parts of the room.We did not stay.We found a different hotel.
It’s a clean, nice room. Service is alright, everyone is friendly and accommodating.The only downside is that their wifi is SUPER WEAK. Like won’t even connect to my phone weak.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!! This property was falsely advertised on Expedia and when I showed up the property was run down in an unsafe looking area with abandoned buildings nearby and had people milling about outside. The windows to the front desk area were tinted and grimey and when we checked in the front desk area was bare with nothing on the walls and no evidence of being a hotel or motel at all. The agent checked us in and told us we were in room 106 in a different building than the one where we checked in. The building next door had no OYO Hotel Mona Lake signage. It was bare with dirty windows and grimey looking. The people hanging around the parking lot looked as if they lived there in very poor conditions. Everyone was staring at us and we felt very unsafe. We felt like we were in a low income housing area and nothing about this property felt like a hotel. We booked this hotel through Expedia and the images for this hotel were COMPLETELY falsely advertised. We paid $362.66 for a 2 NIGHT stay at this location through EXPEDIA but we did not feel that this was even a legitimate business and were worried for our health and safety. We felt our lives and property could be in danger and so we told the front desk agent we wouldnt be staying there and we left immediately to seek other accommodations. I reached out to Expedia to ask for a refund and they were unable to get in touch with the property to get our money back. A few days later I received an email that denied a refund for this property. I will NEVER be using Expedia again because they have falsely advertised listings that must be unvetted and I feel like they have a responsibility to make sure the hotels listed on their site are safe and accurately represented. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed by Expedia and this whole experience ruined my travel experience and wasted a significant amount of my time and money that I will never see again.
This is my 2nd time here. Staff has been very helpful and considerate. Talisha was very helpful. Both times the beds were clean. The bathrooms do show some wear, but as long as they are clean, Im ok with it. This current bathroom needs some Polish grandmother cleaning, and some paint. Internet is still available under motel, and I wish the A door had a fully functional lock. The fridge, microwave and surfaces of sidetables, dresser and desk were clean. Its an inexpensive place, but as long as it’s clean and maintained, I dont mind old.
Do not reservation here , they are not at the front desk and they said no vacancy and send you other place , and they will not give you confirmation refund they will take you money and they will say you did not show up
Every time I come to stay I always have a issue, this time I haven’t received my deposit back yet, I’ve been checked out since March 14th, 2024, and today is March 19th, where is my deposit?
I read the reviews and decided to go against my better judgement. I regret staying there. Google Maps couldn’t find the place. I had to ask directions from people. When I found it. I did not feel safe. I originally booked 3 nights and asked the receptionist if I could book out early. She said yes. So I did. After I booked out she said I should ask Expedia for my refund. When I ask Expedia they direct me back to the hotel. I am still waiting for my refund. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Stay far
Disgusting rooms! We never stayed due to it being so bad and they refused to give us the money back. We made reservations and paid over the phone bur when we arrived, we quickly tried to cancel the reservation. They refused to refund my money and I now am filling court paperwork and having inspectors go to the property.Worst service and company ever!! Do not stay at any of these motels!!!!
AWFUL HOTEL! IT IS A COMPLETE CATFISH!!! The pictures online are NOT the true pictures of the hotel in Muskegon! The ONLY things that says OYO are the bed shams and the credit card reader. I looked at 2 rooms and 3 of the 4 beds had bed bugs. The bathroom in the first room was also dirty. The outside of the hotel was sketchy and the customer service number goes to a hotel in New York. I was told that my card would not be charged and I was charged for my entire stay. DO NOT STAY HERE!
The only issue I had was that the police had got called for a minor situation and they wouldn’t give me my security deposit back
Im not saying this is the greatest hotel you could be at. But 39$ a night , room was clean , nice bed and pillows. Id stay here when in the area just for the price. Rooms feel like they forgot something (microwave), but definitely exceed rooms Ive had at 70$ a stay. Be open minded when renting cheap rooms Id recommend to the one stars. If they wanted more should spend more. Im a minimalist so this place is 5 star to me for the price.
*DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!*This place was a nightmare! Brand new white socks were black after just walking on the floors for 20 mins. Bath tub was filthy. Toilet seat had dried up urine all over the top of the seat. Went to open the curtains only to realize they had black mold all over them! It was a catfish hotel! Nothing looked like the pictures online.

Horrible.. place is rundown, smells like cigarettes, and eho knows what else down the hallways. To the point of it being nauseating. They charge 500 a week for a room. Supposed to have free wifi, which doesnt work. Along with the cable going out. They also didnt stock any towels for the bathroom or any other amenities. I do not recommend.
CATFISH. Believe me. Do not take your kids here. This is not what you want. The photos are exactly what you see regardingthe rooms. The TVs are so small its unexplainable. My family and I drove by twice before we realized the abandoned looking building was the front lobby. The attendent was great but the location is not safe. Before the night began there were at leasr 4 police cars in the parking lot. Like an episode of Bad Boys

When I reserved room, I specified I wanted room with outside door to parking lot, but when I got there, they told me they didnt have any left. Towels not soft at all, (fabric softener please), no coffee pot in room, no ice machine in building we was in. But for the price, the room was clean, quiet and didnt have any other issues. Thank you.
Very dirty. Pretty shady, creepy guy in the hallways in his underwear. Very cheap though, no bed bugs or pests as far as I could tell. Sheets were stained but smelled like bleach. Hot water was hot, cold water was cold. Fridge and TV worked.
The rooms have always been clean and not a problem.But, I wont be back to your establishment. Because you charged me for services that I did not get. Charge me $50 up front, in case I dont check out in time at the end of my stay, which I have to pay interest on. And people are being penalized by paying interest on charges that they did not get services for. I dont get my $50 charge back on my card for 3 to 5 days or more. And I have to pay interest on top of it when I didnt even get services for that money thats being charged to my my card. And Ive been a returning customer for awhile, until now.

Nice staff. The place was rather dirty and sketchy. Stains on one of the bedspreads, bugs in the room, one set of towels for a 3 day stay, sketchy people in the parking lot late at night walking around cars. Did not feel safe. The room (#102) smelled of cigarettes as did most of the hotel. I was glad we had a place to stay with a bed and a shower, but it wasnt nice.
This place is a scam. We were promised an early check-in when we made the reservation over the phone. We arrived and the hotel would not accommodate. We tried to cancel and we keep getting disconnected. The operator says they’re transferring to the “cancellation department” and then they transfer us back to the main menu only this time we can’t get through to anybody. Never again will I book an OYO hotel. I’ll remember this forever.
Only the best place to stay in town also the cheapest Im actually pretty blown away Ive stayed three times in all three times it has been peaceful the rooms are nice and how awesome are the hard floors... all the staff has been really welcoming and helpful also very kid friendly Ive noticed Extended Stay families and their children playing happily outside also love the fact theres not drama or craziness unlike every other hotel in Muskegon like I said Im actually pretty Blown Away
Staff was friendly. Rooms were great for the price however, when we left to go to town there was a woman shooting up in her smashed car, another with cardboard on most of its windows (clearly someone was living in there). The wooded area behind us had a person hanging out smoking, hint hint and someone had their laundry hanging on the fence to dry. As we exited the parking lot we were closely watched by the locals. After booking another place to stay, because I wasnt having the kids I was with staying in that environment, we returned to get our things and there were an older couple lingering by our door, walking their dog.... Its a shame because you could tell they were trying to make a difference with the motel but if they cant clean up the outside, if you know what I mean.. And someone was working on the motel right next to it. If the area doesnt get cleaned up no one is gonna wanna stay anywhere by there.
Rooms Don’t look like the picture. The hallway is filthy, the bed spread had stains. I did it because it’s close to the highway and I thought it was newly remodeled. If you are not scared filth and possible stray weird people. Have at it.
Had reservations for two rooms because we were in town for a wedding. The pics on the web looked great. Looked like a decent place to stay and the price was good. Upon showing up, I was mortified by the looks of the place. Extremely run down, broken windows, and in a bad part of town. Needless to say, we didnt stay. I didnt even enter the building! I quickly called to make reservations elsewhere and cancelled our reservations for here. This place is not even fit for a cockroach! Do not stay here!
If I had to guess, Id guess that this is both a hotel and a government subsidized housing project. It appeared that there were many people there that called this place home.The hallway was stark with concrete floors and white walls - very industrial. The doors in the place slammed all night long. On the second night, there was a fight in the hall in the middle of the night - screaming, slapping, slamming doors. Unbelievable.There are no amenities in the building, like ice. Ice was only available at the office. Speaking of the office, when we checked out at 7:30am, the office was chained - yes, the doors were locked with a chain.The room itself was clean - no carpet, a decent bed, almost no lighting. A stark bare light in the entry and two table lamps. No clock, no available plugs anywhere near the bed.The bathroom was recently painted, unless you looked at the stains under the sink. The sink had no stopper - just an open drain. The only included personal items were two pouches of conditioning shampoo.I would never, ever, recommend that anyone stay at the OYO Hotel Mona Lake, Muskegon. If you choose to stay there, I recommend bring some form of personal protection into your room as you never know what will be happening right outside your room.
Not a Hotel!! Motel is what it is . Pics online don’t tell the truth. A ton of shady characters hanging around, hand towels for face towels, very unsanitary rooms and very unsecured. Not very safe unless your from the neighborhood next door . People outside sleeping in cars , the windows, road, and hotel/motel is really run down. Definitely a by the hour spot should not be promoted as a hotel. This is a WARNING only worth $50 a night. This is a last resort location in a horrible area next to the HOOD.
Terrible. I pulled up after a 3 hour drive hoping to get a good, comfortable nights sleep. I was greeted with broken windows, a broken sign, and an overall crummy atmosphere. I immediately canceled my stay and booked another hotel, but was still charged full price as a “cancelation fee”. I truly believe their hotel is still in business from taking money from customers who view the horrendous property and fear their safety and decide to take their families elsewhere. I am aware of the relatively low cost but there is no way I believe anyone should pay more than $10 a night to get their money’s worth.
This place was horrible. It did not look like the pictures on the website. They only take pictures of one side. The other side is abandoned l, boarded up, and windows are broken. Their was trash and dirty diapers on the ground. The lobby area Smelled of waste and sewage. The staff were rude. They don’t mention on the website that this is a residential homeless shelter. People were hanging out in the parking lot. It did not appear safe. They refused to cancel my reservation fees even though I canceled prior too. Many people canceled in the same day for the same reason. One other customer I spoke to stated that they checked the room and tried to cancel and they charged them full price. This is a very shady business and should be investigated.

Hotel is clean and new floors and beds and A/C. However there was no fridge, microwave or even shampoo. There’s not one picture on the walls. The doors are solid fire doors and didn’t know where to go to get to the rooms. The surrounding area is all vacant buildings, there are no cameras in sight and the deadbolt does not work. And for an added bonus found a used cracked pip under the mattress. For $100 a night on weekends and $50 for weekday this place is not worth the price unless they add more value A Victory was $140 and they have a pool and all the other necessities, should of gone there instead.
Last min booking with change of plans for us. This place had nice pictures of the room so we decide it to try it. Upon arrival the rooms looked like the photo, but some things didnt work. Not enough outlets in the room. No toilet paper, which I noticed in the morning and the office was closed along with the closest store near by. Outside the room, the building could use some cleaning and updating. It was a place to sleep to continue our drive so that all we really did here.

I was very disappointed!! It is not what it seems. It is not a safe place. On Google map it says Mona Lake Inn is next door, but when you get there, OYO and Mona Lake Inn are together. We arrived there on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. There is a little OYO sticker on the Mona Lake Inn sign at the entrance on Hoyt St. We drove through the long drive to get to the hotel. It was not safe and very scary. I have never slept in a place this bad and sketchy before. The building had broken windows everywhere, boarded up doors (exit/entrance). Sketchy people standing at each of the buildings, people walking around, two persons ( a woman and a man) just sitting on the grass with their belongings. Some of these people looks like drug dealers waiting for a pickup and the two persons look liked they were on high on drugs. I drove around both buildings and yep it definitely isnt safe. They charged me $100 on hotels.com with no refund. $100 isnt worth my life so I didnt go there. I called hotels.com to ask for a refund or cancelation. I was told the hotel had a nonrefundable charge so I would have to call the hotel. So I called the hotel, I explained that I am canceling my reservation because the hotel was not safe that I didnt feel safe staying there. At first the lady said they couldnt not do it that I had to cancel it on my end. After I tried to explain, she says she will cancel it on her end. I asked her if I will be charged for canceling. She says no. Its been four days now, and so far no charge. I would give this hotel a ZERO stars but they wont allow me. But since I havent been charged yet, I guess one star is ok. Muskegon is a beautiful place just get another hotel somewhere else.
The property manager was up front and honest. Clean room. No frills. Good place to sleep. Wife was fine with the arrangements. Needs more curb appeal. No swimming pool. I feel better knowing that the owners are trying to improve the property.
First I dont know why they call it a hotel its a motel. Second Its the worst experience I ever had that how the place was bad and dirty. I and my wife couldnt sleep at night because the place smells so bad and so annoying like you can hear everything, the people, the cars, and the water drop on the window that never stops from the second floor. The beds not just smells they are dirty. The towels are dirty too. I booked for two nights and I couldnt stay for another night and. Unfortunately, they charged me about %50 for the next night that I didnt use. This place is %100 money wasting
I would give this place a -10. The pictures that they show are not this hotel! We booked online and when we arrived we were disgusted! It looks like a housing place for people not a hotel. Windows were broken out. Dirty smelly. My children were scared. We canceled right away and found a different hotel. Please do not book here if u have children or if you wanna stay some where clean and safe.
Rooms are terrible along with bathrooms very old feeling for the amount of money you have to pay for it. Towels dirty linens dingy. Will never stay there AGAIN!
Female owner is very rude an ignorant..walks the property day an night acting an caring herself as tho shes better than all of those who rent there an comes in contact with...room wasnt supplied wit a basic phone line for even emergency calls,or a microwave,and apparently fresh towels everyday is an extra charge,not jus supplied with the cost of the room...I recommend that u stay sumplace else than the Oyo motel
Staff is very nice. However you get what you pay for - Walls are thin, you hear everything around you, furniture is used (considering this is a brand new motel), rooms are very bare bones, not homey at all. I was pleasantly surprised to have a mini fridge and microwave in my room but the fridge didnt work very well. There was also an overwhelming smell of marijuana during my entire stay.
If i could give them zero stars I would. Be advised you will be paying $142 for a rundown old Motel 6 that has had the name changed to OYO. Did not look safe when we arrived but it was late and we didnt have an alternative. We booked a King non smoking room and were given a room with 2 barely full size beds that reeked like smoke. After a long day of driving we just wanted to relax and watch some TV. But they did not have TV service and/or internet so I could not use by table either. I called the front desk and was told Im the only one here but I ll let the owner know We ended up just going to sleep and leaving as soon as possible. I asked for a refund on the way out the door and was told if I had paid in cash I would have been eligible but since I paid ahead via paypal to get a quicker check in (which didnt help still took forever). i could not receive a credit and I should dispute it through them. Which I tried to do but they refused to issue a credit. Stay anywhere but here!!
STAY AWAY! These people are slum lords. I was harassed on my way to check in by the owner, twice, to ask if I had paid (I had online). The other guy that works there tried to run out in the parking lot to fist fight me over my deposit he had given me *upon checkout* (something about a receipt?). I have video and will publish at a later time. STAY AWAY!
Never would I recommend this place! First off, THERE IS NO REFRIGERATOR OR MICROWAVE IN THE ROOMS OR LOBBY! How are you suppose to warm up your food or keep drinks cold? I have 2 little toodlers with me whose milk I can’t even keep cold simply because theirs no refrigerator! Never have I been to a hotel/motel that doesn’t have one! Secondly, the furniture is very outdated and the rooms are very plain! They showed me another room that didn’t look anything like the room I received! I’ve stayed at hotels cheaper than this that was way better!
I’ve had nothing but great experiences especially with having to stay here long term. Jerry at the front desk always makes everything easy and understanding every time.

Room was decent not sure how clean being I found cheerios all over the floor, no shampoo in the bathroom granted I dont normally expect it but otd common most hotels, asked for a later checkout not really wanting one but due to the weather the guy gave me attitude about it after being over charged cancelled my reservation on booking. Com thinking Id get a better rate nope was charged more I have stayed at many hotels other the road not impressed asked about a military or government discount and was ignored never again would I stay I here

Online booking looked great, well that was a lie. Upon arrival there was 4 police cars. Broken windows everywhere. We didn’t even stop. I would say 90% of the people permanently lived there. Worst place I’ve ever seen have your family to stay the night.

Do not stay here. This hotel is horrible. There were stains on the bedding. Dog foot prints on the comforter. It smells like a homeless shelter. The pictures are very misleading. Throw the whole place away. Seriously
Weekend of September 17th I booked a room for the weekend on Expedia, I choose pay at property. I decided not to stay the the OYO and never showed up to the property, today I have been charged three time once for $117 once for $73 and now my bank is alerting me to another charge of $35 good thing I do no have any funds, I called the property and no one answers the phone just robot. OYO get back at me dawg
Hotel was very simple, but beds were comfortable and water was hot with good shower pressure. Not many people so it was very quiet. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. My only complaint was some of the towels were soiled.
Convenient location for Unity Fest at The Landing, shopping at Meijer, and US31 & I-96 access. Room was awesome and secure access to the building a plus.
No coat rack, shower wasnt cleanThere was a used soap and a razor cover left in the shower. Soap scum on the shower handle. no ice machine in building B #125. There was a microwave, refrigerator. The bed was really soft. Wooden floor carpet is needed too slippery and cold. Bring your house shoes
The room itself was not bad but after we checked out we noticed some charges on our credit card were differant so we went back and got a receipt . on reciept it said we paid the first day with cash and then got the cash refunded and used our credit card this was not accurate we never paid with cash and never recieved any cash refund. When we showed it to the manager they said nothing they could do because the reciept stated that it happened. So basically someone hot a cash refund of almost 60 dollars and it wasnt me or fiance so wonder who recieved it ?
Pictures look way better then the actual room. Lock broke on the door, security door held on by electric tape hard to get in. No wash cloths, no iron and several undesirable people hanging outside. Hotel looked like a dump.
We did not stay here ended up canceling 3 days before hand and this was 3 months ago, I am just not done fighting with this hotel chain they refused to give me a refund and would repeatedly hang up on me when I would question them, played phone tag with them for about a month before I finally reached far enough up the chain they said they would refund me a few days later I looked at my account and they refunded me then took the payment back out again within a hour of each other I had to go though the same process again all and all about 3 months of calling, no one spoke English I talked to so it was very difficult I did drive by the place though and it is on the ROUGH part of town I’d feel safer in a Detroit crackhouse basement then there. Would give it negative stars if I could
Paid $50 for a night stay and you definitely get what you pay for...smelled strongly like cigarettes, floor was sticky, stains on sheets...would not stay here again.
I will NEVER return to this hotel. My boyfriend was threatened by a man in the next room over. He said he was going to shoot my boyfriend but then called the police and said that my boyfriend threatened him. I then went up to the office and said we were leaving because we were worried for our safety and that we wanted our money back for that night(we stayed 2 days) and they refused. NEVER again will I stay here…or at any.
The floor, door, sheets, and towels were all filthy.
The rooms were awful. Floors were dirty, hallways leading to the rooms were dirty cement. Glass all over the yard. It was frightening. Can’t believe we paid what we did to stay there! 🤦♀️

Not a good place to stay. Just my opinion. We actually seen the room and could not sleep in it. It was more for homeless housing.
The room we had was not clean and was garbage behind the refrigerator and the sheets were dirty.
Pretty run down but alright for price. Kind of depressing. The owner is really nice, but just definitely wasn’t a good place. Wish I had better things to say. It’s not called the oyo it’s like Mona lake or something. I wouldn’t stay again.
Looks nothing like the pictures online! Beds had permanent stains on the sheets as well under the pillows. The hallways look run down. Bathtubs is a no for me. Just terrible yuck.
If i could give this place 0 stars i would but this is the worst establishment in the entire 10000 mile radius. i was woken up by the sound of screaming neighbors and my belongings were blatantly stolen by staff members never ever and i mean ever stay at this establishment they also proceeded to charge us twice for a room because the first transaction “didn’t go through”

As good as a Motel 6 can get! They have microwave and refidgerator and also security entrance which is great for someone excpecting guest! Staff is friendly and helpful. No smoking inside though. 😊 i enjoyed my stay here for two nights.
Didn’t even Stay, bad part of town. The hotel was down right creepy. We pulled in and decided to go elsewhere. People fighting in the parking lot. Had someone look in our car when we where trying to check in. Feared for safety.

When we arrived we was told by goggle map we arrived . Asked for direction from a police officer across from party store . He informed us that the drive way went further back . Not clearly marked we were shocked to see what was said to be updated . The outside was clearly not , so we were hoping the inside was . Very disappointed furniture was missing drawer front bed bottom and end table had paint on it . The phone look very used . Walls need paint window need washing . The floor was nice .
Wonderful stay, staff was great and friendly. We felt safe with security guard, great guy. Learned President Truman stayed here many years ago.. pretty cool.
Room was fair to good - inside lock was broken - room was clean - 3*. Amenities - No coffee, Iron, poor shampoo, conditioner & soap 1.5 *. Outside is a bit rough - 2*.
Never even going to look at an Oyo again after this. Room isn’t what I reserved, the water in the shower never gets hot and the heater in my room doesn’t work enough to warm the whole room. Terrible.
They claim theyre open 24/7, but they close at 9: 00pm... With no notice or number to call... They also havent notified anyone else about when they close, but they will defend to their lie and last breath that they are open 24/7... If you dont make it before 9:00, no room and no refund... And this extends to booking your hotel room after 9:00 p.m. because you should have known better...
Rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. They should put coffee pots in the rooms no one wants to leave their room to get coffee in the office. There was a microwave and fridge in the room

When I finally found this place I was honestly unsure of this being the right Motel poor signage the parking lot was cramped and full of holes and there was a tree blocking the road not boat friendly !! It was very ghettoWe just drove back to Indianapolis didnt even check in it was worth losing the money not to stay definitely didnt feel safe there

This is a complete mis advertisement its not a oyo NO ONE will deliver food here they over charged me and tell you to ca the police if you so much as have an argument with another tenant cause there is no conflict resolution and they arent even a legitimate business also they are sketchy about giving proper receipts cause they are afraid of ppl staying with squatters rights...oh and after I left I basically left the state cause honestly this should have BEEN DELT with and michigan basically neglects Its responsibility to do legitimate business and make its citizens comply with that philosophy cause that is NOT A choice its actually the law....
