Had a great night here while on vacation. A very chill atmosphere and everyone was really friendly. Mike the bartender was incredible and made us feel super welcome, and their signature drinks were fun and delicious. All around great vibes, and I would definitely recommend St. George to any visiting LGBTQIA+ folks!

Such a great evening.Were visiting from Alabama and happened upon the perfect little gay bar.It was a quiet night until the locals welcomed us with open arms, dirty jokes, and drag shows. Craig is a wonderfully personable bartender. Partying with boys has never been so fun! Thank you guys for the awesome night, tasty drinks, and lifetime memories!!

Love Michael!! He welcomes you as soon as you walk in! The bathroom needs a lot of work. It turns you off but the staff makes up for it.

Went here for my 21st and wow was I pleasantly surprised. I thought that St. George was the old people bar, but quite the opposite. Was a great mix of very friendly, cool people. The bartender, Michael, was so sweet and lovely. He made me feel right at home, and could definitely tell I was nervous. They had darts and pool, and karaoke in the corner near the door, so if you didnt want to hear it, you could move to a different section. The building is sectioned off nicely. Alcohol is priced fairly. Definitely worth the visit. Friendly people and my favorite bar Ive visited so far! Thank you all so much for helping make my birthday special.

No Air Conditioning In the south? Smoking inside the bar smelled terrible it was so hot inside and stunk. We didnt even get a drink. Hard pass on this place.

Went in to sit down and wait for Superbowl night and the guy said if I dont spend money I cannot be there I think that is bad customer service how are you gonna be a bar and do something like that and then try to charge me $2 for a cup of water I will never go back here and it was my first time here too never ever will I go back just plain rude.

The new chef, donald is very accommodating and has great food. costumer service is amazing as well 10/10

This place is a total gem! The staff and patrons are awesome. Walked in and enjoyed an unexpectedly fun evening, walked out with a newfound appreciation of this place. Thank you for existing!Small note for out-of-staters with allergies: The interiors are not smoke-free (just figured its worth noting for anyone it could potentially affect - we werent aware smoking indoors is still a thing in SC, is all). If its not a problem please dont let that deter you otherwise.The bartender is a killer karaoke singer and slings excellent drinks! Theres two pool tables, a side yard, and a space set up for shows. We had a blast here and look forward to returning when were in town.

Super chill dove bar with excellent vibes. The drinks aren’t fancy but they are strong and good. Everyone was friendly and easygoing. The DJ was so good, we couldn’t bring ourselves to go anywhere else for the night!!

Bar had great vibes welcoming to travelers, bartender made sure everyone got home safe and took care of us well even got my friend a birthday shot! Drinks are affordable and overall great time

My group and I came in for karaoke and originally it was super fun, the dj was great and the music selection was good, however in the time we spent there it got progressively worse. There was a man who was clearly very intoxicated (not just with alcohol) and kept asking us to come into the bathroom with him for some fun and he was continually being very pushy to the point where my friend and I felt so uncomfortable we had to leave our table and hide among the other people at the bar. Multiple other patrons were also very uncomfortable with his behavior and the bartender was still serving him MORE drinks when we left. Speaking of the bathroom, there is no gender neutral option despite being a gay bar. The womens restroom had a broken top toilet that was rusty. Additionally during my last song I saw two separate cockroaches. One on the floor and one going up behind their drink sign. What started off as a great night ended with us feeling very uncomfortable and I really hope this bar fixes these issues because otherwise it would have been great.

Came down to Myrtle for decided to find a local LGBTQ+ hangout. We were not expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised ! St George was a lot of fun ! Great Drinks and a fun atmosphere! Had fun playing pool and chatting with new friends ! Will definitely be back on future trips !

Honest Post: Very chill LGBT+ Bar. The music was very relaxing background tunes and this was my very first time here. The smell of cigarettes lingers but airs out quickly from the warm breeze. My friends loved the drinks, and the people are extremely friendly. Thanks for reading!

Was happy to find this spot for a quick drink before heading back to the hotel. Bartender was friendly, drinks were great & affordable. Good tunes on the jukebox. Thanks for a chill end to our vacation.

Have to say after a bad visit last spring. I loved this place this trip here everyone was very welcoming.great staff and the regulars made us feel right at home. Will be our home bar when here in myrtle beach. Alex is an awesome bartender and was very welcoming. Can t remember the other onea name but he has a beard and is from NJ both make excellent drinks.

Apparently a locals hang out. The bar tender is moire interested in playing to his regulars than new comers. The cordiality of this bar is they do open your beer.

Im in tears right now, I have not been in such a great vibing place. I was welcomed from the door. I have been in Myrtle Beach 5 days and this bar made my vision change of other ill treatments at other bars here. I LOVE THIS BAR... THANK YOU GOD!

Nice place. The bartender was really nice. Good music (I think it was a playlist, though it looked like there was a spot for a DJ). Not many people there, though that could have just been because it was 8pm on a night in February. They had a few pool tables, and a jukebox.

There was, not to their advantage, not a soul around. I was able to enjoy my own thoughts and have a few drinks. They have happy hour from 4:00pm until 8:00pm everyday. Im going to assume it is gay friendly because of all of the colors but I havent met a soul here (outside of the staff) since this place is not taken advantage of.

Very welcoming people and environment! Drinks were cold, delicious, and fairly priced. Stumbled upon this place coming into town.. didnt know it care it was a gay bar. Would definitely visit and time Im in the area!!

I was there with a friend and the place wasnt even busy and the bartender straight up walked away from me every time I tried to order a drink. We didnt have a single drink.Its pretty bad when I am saying this because Im one of the most lenient people our there and Im in the industry (manage a restaurant in surfside beach.Ill never go back to that place again.

I’m from Chicago/ Milwaukee, I came for my sisters 40th bday! OMG I had the best time coming in here! We came on a whim had no idea where we were, so this was so lit and awesome!! Everyone was there and having a great time. #Goodvibesonly

St George is a great place with a friendly atmosphere and staff. I felt very welcome and at home. I highly recommend this bar.
