I used to love this place when I first became a member in 2019, but unfortunately, my experience has turned sour. They have stolen sessions and money from me and refuse to respond to any of my emails or phone calls. This includes Lauren Skipper, the Regional Manager, and Joe Szablewski, the Owner. I strongly advise you to stay away from this establishment. The leadership is poor, and they consistently avoid addressing the truth. If you face similar issues, consider consulting a lawyer to reclaim what youre owed. This includes the Bellevue location as it is operated and owned by the same people. I was promised a call back for my missing sessions and was told sessions disappear often and they have to go back and track what happened to it. Thank God I recorded that conversation with the manager at Bellevue! I have all I need when we get to court.
This Massage Envy is set apart from all other Massage Envy’s. The manager truly values the employees and customers. The environment is wholesome and friendly and everyone on staff is like family to one another. Every Massage Envy should strive to have the same positive and reliable services and staff members as the Massage Envy on White Bridge Road does! I know many ME’s have accumulated bad reputations but it really all comes down to who the people in the business are and at this ME… these people really care about the well-being, happiness and satisfaction of their customers.
Ok I have to admit, I was very skeptical coming to this place based on past reviews, but I decided to give them a try and Im SO glad I did!Gwen did my facial and I can honestly say its the best Ive ever had, not to mention that she is an absolute sweetheart and super knowledgeable! Everyone else there was so friendly and attentive, I would definitely recommend!!

Ever since they got New Management and an Upgraded Staff in February, this place absolutely rocks!! Everyone has a great personality and are so welcoming and friendly. Every single Therapists are great now, I have been a few times since & tried a few out, you cant go wrong with any of them! I even got my girlfriend a facial and Gwen was amazing! She is a nationally reknown Aesthetician and she works here now! They do Dermaplaning and Waxing now!! I have extended my Wellness Program & got my girlfriend on it too for a Discounted Rate.It is good to have such a place in Belle Meade again. They are just across the street from Target! See them, you will be glad you did.
Has anyone else encountered difficulties cancelling their membership without losing current sessions? Ive repeatedly explained to Massage Envy my need to cancel due to missed appointments caused by staff shortages, tardiness, and resignations. Despite being on a freeze, I still havent used all my sessions from the Covid period. The manager at the Belle Meade location (Jace/ Jason) was incredibly rude and uncompassionate. He claims I cant be put back on freeze as Ive exceeded the limit. Ive emphasized that I dont want to freeze but cant afford to waste money. Booking appointments has been impossible due to frequent cancellations reflected on my account. Despite my request, theyve refused a refund. Theres no system to monitor session usage, and the increasing rates affect available sessions. This feels like exploitation, and Im contemplating legal action if not resolved promptly. The regional manager, Lauren, is supposed to contact me tonight for an update.
This location is so pretty and clean! The staff is friendly and answered all my questions. I signed up as a member and see my fav therapist monthly to work on my shoulder pain! The New Manager Jace has made this location so much better!

I wish I would read the reviews before I get there. The girl at the front desk is cute. The massage though was not what I was expecting for. I booked 90’ and I had 80 min instead. That would not be huge problem if the massage was better. It was just pressing and not actually massage the whole time of the massage , I would understand if it was the first 20’ min but I don’t understand “pressing muscles” for 80 min. Specially when the massager didn’t cut proper the nails. I’m not a customer that usually complains but I love massages and that was not a great experience for me. I’m sorry for the review but maybe it’s a wake up call for the therapists maybe prove their technique or find therapists that they will bring better reviews
Too bad the owner just didnt need 3 estheticians. I definitely had wonderfully happy returning clients when I was there. It saddens me to see the negative reviews based on the culture of this location. I actually helped open up and was one of the 1st on board here. You get what you pay for a n d Im not talking about the clients. We were promised a certain pay but receive half that! We couldve went to the eeoc but opted to just employ elsewhere. I really hoped things would get better and I came online to check reviews before purchasing mothers day gift cards for a few people. So unfortunate that I have to purchase elsewhere. Well wish you all the best and hope you get some caring staff,therapist and Most of All Leadership! So much potential undelivered. I started my own clinic and couldnt be happier. Too bad it isnt close to Belle meade!!

My daughter and I have been getting massages here for more than a year. We have memberships and have been happy with the service. My daughter is too young to be in a room alone so we have our appointments together and have always been accommodated. It really helps her de-stress from schoolwork (and me from work work). I recommend this massage route if you have a kid you want to help relax. We both go for only slightly more than what Id be paying elsewhere for just myself, and they offer a variety of therapists with unique methods. My daughter loves it, Im a fan, and weve never had any issues in the time weve gone here.
Place is clean and staff was nice. I give it one star for the following reasons:- My masseuse spent most of the time tucking me in to the sheets over and over again.- My masseuse skipped around my body in a weird order, causing vital places to be missed.- The music was terrible and loud, in addition the speakers in the ceiling crackled the entire time causing the atmosphere to be uncomfortable and tense.- They advertise a 90 minute massage, but then when you get there they tell you its really 80 minutes of hands on time (10 mins for undressing/dressing). After being constantly tucked in and my masseuse bouncing all over the place, Id assume that I maybe got about 30-40 mins of an actual massage.Not good value for what I paid, even at the intro pricing which was $90(+ $20 tip). I will not be returning.Edited to include: To the owner, I did not book a 60 minute, I booked a 90 minute. Unfortunately, as mentioned in my review I didnt even get the 80 mins I should have received. I feel like you didnt even bother to read my review.
After a couple of bad experiences with other locations, I had sworn off Massage Envy forever. However, I decided to use a gift card I received, and I’m so glad I did! My facial with Allison was sooo incredibly relaxing.. and no one tried to force me to buy anything on the way out. It was an all around great experience!
I timed my session = 48 minutes. This included getting undressed and dressed. So, total massage time was roughly 45 minutes. I was charged and paid for an hour. I didn’t say anything about being shorted because I had already decided I wouldn’t be back. On a positive note, the therapist was nice and helpful.
Run! Dont walk away from MASSAGE ENVY. After moving out of state tried for 6 months to get this location to transfer my membership with no success. Be very leery of their contract. I feel like I have been beat up and conned by this whole process. Their one last slap in the face to me was the cancellation policy. They used the subtle verbage in the contract to extort one last payment from me. There are many other reputable massage companies in the area. Hopefully I can help someone not make the mistake I did in trusting them.
I had a reduction of hours at my job and wasnt to pay my membership fee. I called and explained this to them and ask for my membership to be frozen until I can pay. They said OK but never sent the form. So I called again, same thing.. They said OK but never sent the form. So I called again and asked for the manager. She refused to get on the phone, the person that answered the phone said they needed more information before the manager got on phone and wanted to know what I was calling for(even though they already knew). So I asked why I wasnt being sent the form and she said well we cant send it to you because your account is past due.. Oh theyve continued to try and draft the payment from my checking account luckily is a prepaid account and cant be overdrawn... I digress, so Im like why wouldnt you all just say that instead of telling me you are sending the form. And if I cant make the payment, why do you all keep trying to take it? I have frozen my account before and didnt have to go through this. I think its unprofessional to lie to a client under any circumstance.. SHAME ON YALL MASSAGE ENVY BELLE MEADE
This was my first (and last) time to this Massage Envy location. I had a “60 minute” massage scheduled that lasted less than 50 minutes. Additionally, the masseuse asked once we were in the room if I minded if she wore non-latex gloves for the massage. I should have said I minded, but instead I tried to be nice. A massage is not relaxing when the masseuse has gloves on. When I voiced my frustrations with the length of time with the massage the response was an hour massage is really 50Minutes of hands on time so that you have 5 minutes before and after the massage for dressing or to consult the massage therapist. I told them they should have told me the massage therapist would be wearing gloves and the response was “she is the only one here that does”. I am disappointed and frustrated in my experience.
Pretty upset. I purchased $150 in Gift Cards during their promotion Buy $150 in gift cards get one free hour massage. I called to schedule my free session this week and got on the schedule for the next day I asked the girl how much it would be to upgrade to 90min she said $20 then I said how about 2 hours she said $40. Ok Lets book 2hours. So I get there and they talk me into doing a facial for $89 I was ok with that so we did it. After the session I went to pay and Kendra says I owe $325... I was like excuse me ? Basically they charged me $79 x2(2 hour massage) + $79 one hour facial and $10 for products, plus the tip it came to $325. I told her I had a free hour she said they could take off just $40. Thats not fair !! The gift card said ONE FREE HOUR MASSAGE FOR SPENDING $150 ON GIFT CARDS ! Thats is so misleading ! I feel like this massage envy is running a switch and bate operation. So I have spent $150 in gift cards now $325 for a 2 hour massage and a 40min facial ! Thats $475 ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS IS HOW YOU OPERATE BUSINESS? My massage was average.. my facial below average during the facial I was cut 20 mins short she didnt cleanse my neck or chest like the front told me she would. When I told them how she short cut me on my skimpy facial they said they would credit my account with points for a free aromatherapy upgrade IM NOT EVEN A MEMBER HOW DOES THAT HELP ME OUT ? LIKE YOU THINK IM ACTUALLY GOING TO COME BACK HERE JUST TO GET A $10 UPGRADE YOU CANT BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? Then on top of everything else they continue to TRY and sell me a damn membership LOL..HECK NO ! No way!! Not happening !! Im not falling into that money trap! If this is how you do business I want NO part of it. Massage Envy is not a company I would want to do long term business with. Pay an Independent Therapist $60-70 bucks and call it day. Dont even waste your time with this place. The best thing this place has going for its self are the introductory rates use them once and move on to better things. I will never do business with a massage envy again after this. I would of been better off taking $500 bucks and throwing it out the window while going down interstate 40 ! ...SMH
Top notch, would not go any other place. Staff are very professional and attentive to your ever needs. The facility has the atmosphere of an up scale spa with everything you need to be pampered from head to toe. I would highly recommend if you want a first class spa treatment see this staff, they are off the chart......
I am not sure why its showing up under my fiance, but my name is Heidi and I had an appointment this past Sunday with Joel. Very unsatisfied with my visit and wouldnt/wont recommend to any one and I had a lot of people asking me how my visit was. The paperwork you first fill out - talks about areas you want to work on, I circled headaches, stress (even telling him) and asked what would you like in your therapist - personable, not at all. It also states what kind of massage, light, medium, deep , I marked medium. I just got done with kickboxing class and I believe I pinched my nerve in my arm, and told him about this and before even entering the room he said that sounds like blood pressure and maybe now is not the best of time for you to get a massage, so from the get go wasnt well. I should of said something but I am not one to speak out when need to. Once I paid and got in my car, i saw him come out and get in his car and leave. So maybe he was just in a hurry I dont know.
Birthday, and I enjoyed an amazing facial by Cameron, and a great massage given by Will. I felt great after the treatment, I will be going again in the future for these awesome services.

This location is the worst - However, the other Nashville Locations are far better.This location and their bad attitude has forced me to cancel my membership.Hopefully they will lose their lease and we can get a business in this location that actually cares about paying customers.
Wonderful massage. woefully inefficient front desk. do not expect competent service for any insurance receipts. if you are lucky enough to have insurance that covers massage, you will still end up paying for it here. basically paying twice.
