This place was a lot of fun and I would love to go back. Good music and good drinks. I strongly recommend the frozen hand grenade and didnt eat. Definately stop in here. The shark attack drink has a surprise that comes with it, if you dare to find out.

Cool club right on the strip. Easily accessible good quality live music if youre wandering Bourbon St looking for something to do. Just dont drink too many grenades.

Came here for the first time yesterday. Great bar on Bourbon. They have drink specials. Fun atmosphere. Great LIVE music and the bartenders are very engaged and entertaining when they serve their hand grenade and shark drinks. Cool spot to check out if you are in the area.

We didn’t come here for the food so I can’t tell you anything about that. The drinks are really good and strong. You can pick music to play and since everyone is drunk it’s a great vibe.

The other one further down drinks were on point; my favorite was the hand grenade. I went there Friday night. However, this Saturday, I didnt enjoy the drinks ( shark attack Medicare but dislike the one that was like a rum punch (tropical or hurricane or something like that). It had a bitter taste, like watered down Kool aid with an after taste. Despite the drinks, I give five stars for professional, speed, and presentation. SHARK ATTACK!!!!

Best hand grenade drinks on Bourbon hands down. If your a light drinker, drink 1, moderate 2, No more than 3 is my suggestion. 🤭 They have a full bar but the green drink is the most popular.👌

Cozy little live zydeco bar on Bourbon Street. Good drinks, great live music, get there early for a table in the bayou side.

The zydeco band was very fun. Of course, if you’re a tourist you have to get the Hand Grenade.

I understand that you have to be 21 and older but it was almost 100° out and my children had to wait outside the door…while the doors were wide open! they weren’t planning on sitting at the bar or anything but at least in the doorway to get some air conditioning.

A really cheesy tourist trap dive bar. Service was quick and friendly but nothing else was remarkable about the place. Drinks were alright but way too overhyped due to social media. Probably not gonna go back unless Im really desperate for an overpriced drink.

The bartender Thomas was awesome!! We had the best time here, we had been to a few other places before this and wasnt having a good time until we went here. The hand grenades are always delicious, the prices arent bad (typical tourist area prices), and it wasnt so loud like the other places that I couldnt hear my friends!

The drinks here hit HARD, be warned. Well worth the stop, everything was very lively and exciting inside. The Shark Attack is a fun surprise at the bar as well.

Some good drink specials but my Wife and I paid $7 for 2 song requests from the band and they couldnt do them (Guns and Roses & Toby Keith).So they did one song for us but that was it. A little annoying since we were celebrating my birthday weekend.The bartender was actually very attentive and had great customer skills.

Firstly I gotta get this out of the way... forget about getting a hurricane, the hand grenade is easily the best drink I had on the entire trip! All about that hand grenade life #youalreadyknow.Anyway, now that thats out of my system..Place is awesome, with a good flow and a smaller bar and stage off to the side. Place just feels huge, and the music, drinks, and service are all spectacular. Bourbon Street no-brainer!

This drink you can only get in New Orleans. Its a must try. The claim is that its the strongest drink in New Orleans. Its pretty good and I must say pretty strong. There was a live band playing when we visited this time. Look for the yellow sign to flash. When it does Jeiger shots are$2 dollars!

I know this is bourbon street but the frozen grenade drink made my family and I so stomach sick. Not the type of hungover nausea but like food poisoning type illness. We didnt have any food for hours that night, just those drinks and whew they did us dirty. I’m assuming the machine for the frozen drinks was growing some type of mold and made us sick. Beware and stick to a daiquiri at a better place!

Im here to talk about the Shark Attack. It sounds like a good idea, and its a super cute spectacle, but its just not a good drink. I am struggling to drink this weirdly gross cherry sprite.Everything else is great. Bartenders are nice and entertaining, Band was good. Hand grenade is great, of course.

The first place I visit on Bourbon Street is Tropical isle to grab a hand grenade. Easily the best drink in NOLA hands down. Each bar is fitting for a great drink with friends.

Came here really looking forward to hearing zydeco and all they played was classic rock. Don’t get me wrong, I love classic rock, but I’m only in NOLA for one night and am pretty disappointed…

Best drinking place in French Quarters. Our bartenter Angel was sweet and nice and made us break the rule of going to 1 place only 1 time in New Orleans. All the drinks are great. I tried everything from the Tropical Itch aka hurricane. To the Horny Gator to the Hand Grenade. They also make whatever drink you want from old favorites like Long Island Ice Tea to Cuba Libre. Its on a corner so 1 block of on Bourdon and Conti.

While in Bourbon St. you really dont know where to stop, theres just place after place but this was one of the decision, because while in New Orleans you must have a hand grenade. Ordering a shark attack was quite the fun experience, I loved it. The drinks were great, the whole atmosphere was super. Friendly staff, the band playing was amazing, it was just a fun place to stop by and enjoy a drink. 10/10 recommend.

Get the hand grenade drink (green cup in my hand)! Tastes sooo good and they give you discounts on refills. They’re pretty strong so be careful! You can also take it to go because you can drink publicly here. We never really had to wait at the bar either which was amazing. You can’t go here and not give it a try! You can get it on the rocks or frozen (get on the rocks).

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting with Philip and Melissa while we were at this bar. It was our first time in New Orleans and we were there on one of the busiest weekends of the year (Sugar Bowl/New Years). These bartenders were awesome and their conversation and drink making skills stopped us from our average bar hopping and we ended our night here. Great times and awesome bar service - which speaks a lot from us since we live in Vegas. Give these guys a raise! lol. Honestly though, they are what kept us there for so long. I came there as a tourist for Mardi Gras and heard I had to get a hand Grenade. It doesn’t cost much and tasted good. I would give 5 stars if I knew if they had anything more than the Grenades.

Came here for the hand grenade and boy oh boy! What a treat! I couldnt believe that this was an actual drink. If anyone knows where I can get this bad boy in Houston, please drop me a line. This is the mother of all drinks. I have described it as a rainbow in a cup, and I firmly stand by that. And....at the end of the rainbow is a pot of gold right? Well this drink doesnt disappoint. At the bottom of my cup was a cute little grenade! Lol. I cannot say anything bad about this drink... just dont drink two and hop on a flight (smh).Also, the atmosphere was very celebratory. The location of this spot is primo! Outside there were bands walking by and people dancing and just an all round air of positivity. I cannot wait to revisit again.Tip - you get $1 off your next grenade if you reuse your grenade cup.Happy drinking peeps!

The perfect place to grab a quick drink if you venture onto Bourbon Street! After two grenades I was having the best time (hence how happy I am in the picture 🤣)! The drinks are priced well and the atmosphere is fun and friendly! The bartender was super nice and funny and I got my drinks quick! This is my go to place on Bourbon!

Wouldnt recommend this place. The hand grenade was good, but the bartender had a very offensive attitude and comments. The guy was short and had a dark colored beard. Was approximately 9:15 pm on 12/30/2022. He was upset because we didnt tip on a $12 drink that took 15 seconds to make. He told me and my friends not to come back to this bar. His initial contact with us started with him not wanting to explain what was in the shark attack drink and instead said, Just order the f&$@$ing drink! Seemed like a decent place, but that specific bartender had terrible service. He was looking at our tip receipts before we even had a chance to leave with our drinks. Very rude.

We had such a fun time here. Its one of the few places in the Quarter where you can hear Cajun and Zydeco music. The music was great. We saw 2 different bands and enjoyed them both.

Ive been man times and they always have cold drinks and live music.

The hand grenade is delicious and potent. I recommend if you want inexpensive drinks thatll get you right. Also check out the fish bowls at deaux deaux.

The one thing I most wanted to do during our visit to New Orleans was listen to live zydeco music. We picked the right place and had a wonderful time. Thomas is the greatest bartender and the band was great. Loved it!

The evening started out really nice at this place. Had the hand grenade, was tasty. As we were heading out, my friend ordered a drink and had asked the female bartender downstairs to pour it into the hand grenade cup. It became apparent very quickly that she had no interest in do that and was derogatory and rude to my friend. From the way she was interacting with other people at the bar, it was clear that she had a problem that he was gay and from another country. She kept saying she couldnt understand him in a very condescending way and implied that he couldnt afford the $2.50 extra that it would cost for the extra soda water. By the time she finally agreed to make the drink, she was slamming things around, muttering under her breath and saying that she had a problem with people like you. Once it was all done, she called the security guard over who then asked us to leave. The bar itself was fun, but the staff (and that one girl in particular) really ruined it. I wont be back nor will I recommend to others.

Loved this place! You get a $1 discount for refills. The hand grenade itself tastes lovely! I was done after my third. They have table games, sell beads to throw from their balcony, and free popcorn. This is a great place to people watch on Bourbon Street since its on the corner. The bar tender was great! Me and my two friends were there Friday 01/10/20 and the bartender was amazing! Thank you!

Love the live music and the atmosphere was fun. Drank the popular grenade drink!! Please limit yourself to two. I had fun throwing a grenade into a bucket by the ceiling. Service was fine nothing to complain about. Its a very very busy place so it wasnt super clean.

If you ever find yourself walking down Bourbon St, trying to decide which bar to stop at amongst the seemingly endless options, do yourself a favor and stop at the Tropical Isles Bayou Club. Out of all the bars I have ever been to, this one has got to be my all-time favorite. This was truly an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend! Make sure you dont leave without ordering a Shark Attack! 🦈🦈

Great drinks and fantastic music 🎶!

I heard about the infamous hand grenade at this place so my coworker and I had to check it out. The drink got us right, it was wonderful. The band did a wonderful too. We go back the next day (Monday) expecting the drinks to be just as good as the day before. Our drinks werent as strong as Sundays, honestly you couldnt taste any alcohol in it. I dont know if theyre trying to make sure if customers are responsible during the weekday but it should stay consistent.

I tried the famous hand grenade and I Love it..!!I was kinda scared of trying this green drink but it actually had a great flavor it had a mix between mango/melon taste. It cost $10 and it last for a long time..!! It was so much fun walking and drinking a hand grenade 💚💚💚 get one and take it wherever you go..!!

We stopped in here after having had a couple of drinks and walking around for the last couple of hours and were instantly greeted by a friendly and welcoming bartender. We had no idea about the Hand Grenade drink, but he sold it to us the minute we walked it. It was the ABSOLUTE BEST drink we had in New Orleans. The price was reasonable too. I believe it was either 8 or 10 dollars with a souvenir cup. The drinks actually had a decent amount of liquor in them (which is hard to come by in a mixed drink) and were very tasty. I would recommend trying them if you are in the mood for a cool refreshing drink.

My hand grenade was quite the experience! Very sweet but tasted good if u like sweet yet strong drinks. It was also entertaining with the bartenders new shark attack drink that required them to put on a little bit with a plastic shark attacking the drink they made.

Touristy but fun! Bartenders are friendly and add to the experience, especially with the special drinks. I went in expecting to wanna get right out but it was cooler than expected and we stayed for a bit. Im sure its crazier when theres no pandemic but Im willing to check it out when back in town.

This place was nice. Hand Grenade was great, Island Itch was terrible. Was like drinking red water. No flavor at all. Two guys got into a fight and one threw beer in my hair. Atmosphere was great up until that time.

As a bartender myself I was very surprised that a slush cocktail out of a machine could taste so good.The hand grenade is definitely a must try in New Orleans. It tastes like very sweet fresh cut grass with a hint of orange.Never experienced a flavour like that before.5 stars for the cocktail. -1 star for the service. Lazy security always on his phone or watching TV and tired, worn out looking bartenders.The only life in this place belongs to the costumers and the drinks.Take a cocktail and get the hell out of there!

Our little jaunt down Bourbon Street and we stopped in for a brew. Quick service and generous servings. Great classic rock and roll to listen to and the people watching is off the charts.

What a great stop on Bourbon Street. The only bar in NOLA that has live Cajun music 365 days a year. Loved spending some time listening to the authentic cajun music from The Cajun Drifters. They interacted with the audience and were very welcoming. Oh and the hand grenade is fun to try as well. Great spot for a relaxing good time.

My girlfriend had her first hand grenade from here. She laughed halfway through drinking it and made a comment that it seemed weak. About ten minutes later, she was a little tipsy. 🤣

We walked in here on Christmas day randomly. Had no idea Tropical Isle had a music club! The zydeco was ENCHANTING. So awesome. Great atmosphere and the same drinks you expect at the other TI locations. I believe theres a drink minimum if youre sitting and listening to music but very worth it. Highly recommend this place for AWESOME live Louisiana music.

The staff is so enthusiastic! Was here for New Years at midnight, ordered some shark attacks and got a great performance from the bartender. Live music was a great touch. This place will always be a great memory for me.

Havent had a hand grenade since 2005, came back in 2016. I definitely missed it, if youve never tried a hand grenade youre missing out. Also I love the environment of this place. We went with a sugar bowl crowd.

A lot of Tourists, lines can get pretty long. My tolerance is pretty high so I need about 2 before I feel anything. They are about $10 each and the bar is a hole in a wall. But if it’s your 1st time in New Orleans you should definitely try it.

Home of the famous hand grenades. They are delicious but borderline lethal. One down the hatch and you can feel it. They taste like amazing melon candy but have way more effect than you expect. Definately a thumbs up here.

Decent place, quite a hectic decor with a laser strobe ball, so a bit too much going on for me when I just want to relax but maybe I would have enjoyed the place more at night. I thought the drinks were expensive, there are cheaper places on bourbon Street. They have WiFi which is always good. It was quite busy but not too crowded.

Love the Hand Grenade, Shark Attack, and Bushwacker! (Dont have too many.) & Beware of the Green Cherry! Its been soaking in 190 proof liquor, probably a few days. Great place to hangout and there are live bands at specific times. There are a few locations on Bourbon St. (Ladies, the one on Orleans has tiny but usually clean bathrooms - slowly enter so you dont wack someone with the door.) Have fun!

If you like overwhelmingly sweety drinks with absolutely no taste of alcohol, served for $10 with 70% of ice (at least, they admit this last point, as the no-ice version is $16!! ), the Hand Grenade is for you. Otherwise prefer any other bar in New Orleans

Great band that takes request via a bank like vacuum tube. I was over joyed they played Warewolves of London :). The decor is fun and they sell novelty condoms and trinkets. They also sell this gator drink, luau punch, and grenade mix drink. Now I tasted the Gator and Grenade both are very weak mixed drinks. The Gator is pretty tasty like a long island but the Grenade taste like a million pixie stick poured into a glass of water with zero alcohol. Still I would recommend this bar, we had a ton of fun and the bartenders were really awesome. Cant wait to go back :)

LIVE CAJUN MUSIC BAND EVERYDAY!This place is the only bar in the French Quarter that has live Cajun bands everyday all the time. TCanaille is my favorite. They draw a good crowd and make it a fun experience. The bartenders are nice and very attentive.Bruce Daigrepont & the Cajun Drifters is another must see band that plays here. All of the bands seem to enjoy themselves and they love talking to guest about their heritage and teaching the Cajun culture. Im a Cajun and its great to see a bar dedicated to keeping the heritage alive and creating interest in our culture.The bar itself could use a little remolding. The restrooms are VERY small and the wall blocks the stage view from one end of the bar but I guess that helps if you need noise cancellation or just a rest. All & all, its a must stop on your French Quarter Louisiana tour to hear the original music that inspired all of our craziness down here.

This place is located in the heart of Burbon street which mean that it’s literally a party pit stop.Nice entourage but kinda small counter for such a popular spot. The bartenders are moving at the speed of light and sure know what they’re doing.Enjoy 😉

Fun place recommended by a friend who attended Tulane and resides in New Orleans. The band came straight from the famous Rock n Bowl and there is a small dance space up front.

There are about 4 different Tropical Isle in the French Quarter, all home to the most powerful drink the hand grenade. This drink cost $10 and is pretty strong. If you save your cup, youll save $1 on your next grenade. The drink is served with a little plastic grenade that floats on top that you can throw into a basket hanging from the ceiling.

Home of the Hand Grenade! If youve never tried one this needs to be first on your to-do list, totally worth it. Its a sweet melon-like cocktail that will knock you on your butt if you drink too many, very powerful!

I loved how they do tricks when they make your drink. The hand grenade was bomb! They also had a cute neon aesthetic and live music.

It was one of the locations…I had the signature hand grenade drink and it was very excellent. I had a gal bartender she was very nice and helpful. Everything was good and reasonably priced. It is definitely worth a stop.

Be careful when using your credit card. The girl that swiped my card added an $8 tip but I guess she also didnt know I get an instant text when my card is swiped... I also took a picture of my receipt as well which shows no tip ... Im not sure how to add photos to my review post... maybe she thought she I was tourist but Im a Louisiana local either way its wrong to give yourself an $8 tip

The drinks are fantastic and reasonably priced !!! My favorite is the tropical itch, its delicious, refreshing and goes down easily 😂 Ashton and Tony were super friendly and my sister and I ended up staying there for hours just to hang out with them haha overall great experience and hands down the best bar in NOLA

Tonight was an awful night at this establishment.First off, the manager with the dark brown hair and eye lashes was rude and a THEIF!!I gave her two 20.00 Bills plus my card for 4 drinks. 10.00 should have been the change, but she returned nothing, and when she did come with the drinks, she walked off fast, showing signs of guilt. Once we told her, she got smart and ignored us.I guess she thought we where drunk, but we had just made it to Bourbon.Never again will I go to this establishment. And if you decide to go, make sure you have correct change. They scammin in there. Her and the security guard. I would have even given them one star. Not deserving.

They had a live band and the bartenders added flair to mixing the hand grenade. I got the lower calorie one and it was delicious!

They are rightly known for their signature hand grenade drinks but should also be known for their live music. A good place to stop in.

Its a cool place to hang and drink. It is not the cleanest but it is a very dope place. Youre on Bourbon go here for the hand grenade its strong and if youre a heavy drinker get 2 hand grenades!

Typical chain bar with a kitschy drink menu. The hand grenades are not to be missed for the full touristy New Orleans experience. Theyre stronger than they look! The shark attack is a drink you dont want for yourself, but if you stick around the bar long enough someone else will order it and you can experience.

Spent the weekend in New Orleans for a bachelorette party and had virtually no issues with rude bartenders until this place. If the bluegrass band would not have been entertaining, I would have given this place one star.Upon arriving, I was told at the door that there was a one drink minimum. That was completely fine by me even though I was not drinking. I planned to buy the bride to be a drink and myself a soda. Our group went and situated themselves on the dance floor after purchasing their drinks. A friend of mine and myself waited at the bar for the bartender to take our order. As she approached, the band got incredibly loud when they found out it was a bachelorette party in the house and began congratulating and playing a special song for her. (These guys were great) Due to the loud music and as per MOST bars, especially live music bars, I began to loudly ask what sodas they had, not necessarily searching for a long and drawn out answer as I probably wouldnt be able to hear it anyways but rather a coke or pepsi products answer.. something simple and quick. The bartender very rudely asked what soda I wanted and began listing off drinks she obviously did not have. I again asked, louder and slightly more annoyed this time because obviously she was not understanding my question and was rude to me for absolutely no reason, what sodas she had. She then walked away and checked out a different customer. My friend and I waited at the bar, assuming that she really was just THAT rude but would come back to us. A few minutes later she looked in our direction and told us that we could leave. I asked her why and she proceeded to tell me that I was rude and she wasnt going to serve me so I could just get out. She never once asked my friend, who hadnt said a single thing to her yet or heard our conversation over the music, if she wanted anything. Neither of us were drunk or belligerent, though Im sure she assumed that we were because it is a party town. That, or she was irritated that I wanted to order something other than alcohol. Either way, she was the ONLY person on our entire trip that was a total and complete jerk.. well really... she was the only person who was rude at all. I will say though, that she never came from behind the bar and forced our group, who was the only real group in there, to leave. My friend and I went and sat down next to our group without meeting the one drink minimum and waited while our friends, who were blissfully unaware of our encounter with the bartender, enjoyed the band and were ready to move on to the next bar.I will be back to New Orleans because ultimately, I absolutely loved it. This bar however will not be on my to do list next time. Been there, done that, and it was absolutely terrible all thanks to one female bartender who tried to taint a memory I will cherish forever with her bad mood.

Get the hand grenade they have either frozen or on the rocks, it’s a little sweet so I like mine on the rocks instead of frozen but the taste is really good and you get a nice buzz

We LOVE this place. Its a go to every time we visit New Orleans. Love the zydeco band here on weekends and the hand grenades are the best drink in the French Quarters hands down.... BEST PLACE EVER!!!!

Excellent place for regional Cajun and zydeco music. We come here every year. Last night the group was joined by an amazing washboard player, a woman of color, so talented.

First off lets just say Bourbon Street aloud so much goes down there. There were tons of people everywhere, simply put a Melting pot consisting of the world. So, driving down Bourbon St was a no go for us because it seemed a bit dangerous to drive down a narrow street full of people and bicycles so we stayed on the cross street Royal. So on to the reason why youre really here. What and Where to get a Drink! At least thats what brought us to Bourbon Street . Without Further A Do (well wait, one more. Is it really A Do?! Send help). As my sister and I approached the door (after being let out at the side of the road like some bleep bleeps by our husbands) we excitedly hustled to the door, very green, inviting, busy atmosphere, with huge smiles on our faces we were abruptly stopped by the ID guy, whom I assumed I looked straight pass because I couldnt seem to figure out why he stopped us. So yes you will need it......DO NOT leave your ID in the room it is absolutely required to step into to the home of the Hand Grenade.There were plenty of drinks to pick from, but hey were on Bourbon Street so it only makes sense to get the strongest drink they had. With that said, we opted for the Hand Grenade! Only other decision to make was frozen or on the rocks?! Frozen of course. Why get the strongest drink available to load it with frozen chunks water only to realize its ruined as the ice melts (ok ok Im a sipper). At first sip, I fell in love with the tropical fruity flavor of the drink, I also immediately was made aware that alcohol was present . Not overbearing, but not lacking. We scurry out to catch our cowboys and get to work! I had drank half of my drink before I knew it, so me being me decided to google it. After all we should be aware of what were putting into our bodies (after-the-fact May be a little counterproductive, but let up a little, I was overcome by excitement). So with my drink between my knees I Googled whats in the hand grenade from Tropical Isle, Drumroll please.........190 proof grain alcohol and a tropical blend ‍ word to the light weights, hang with people you know and trust and can have pure fun with. 20-30 minutes later I felt like I had taken 3-4 shots and was comfortably tipsy. Note, I still had the Grenade portion of the drink left. It was a family vacation so I sat it on the dresser and went about my day. Feeling great might I add. It is important to note that the next evening I decided to finish my drink, it was still as strong as the moment I purchased it, full flavored, not watered down at all AND I got the same buzz. what if I had drank the entire drink the day before? Talk about drunk potential .Things to take away -Need ID to step foot into the establishmentFrozen better than rocks if youre not a gulperHand Grenade $10Tropical flavor, but didnt totally put my husband offParking is near impossibleDriving could easily land you on the other end of a personal injury claim (maybe park and walk)In case you didnt know the French Quarter isnt the safest place on earth. Great experience! The servers were nice, prompt and helpful. They had a live band, they were entertaining. Drink prices were moderately priced also. I would return again if in the city.

We visit the city every couple months and always stop in to see Kyle. He’s the best and nicest bartender we’ve found in the Quarter. Grenades are a must on the tourist list...and this is the spot to get one.

Pretty much an establishment for Bourbon Street. Not really my type of place, took a friend to get a hand grenade and see the shark attack. Very kitschy, but it serves its purpose.Stop in and grab a to-go drink.

Awsome french acadian type musicThere are lots of bars on Bourbon street but this place has got its own unique feel.It was great watching the crowd come up with song requests and all ages, young and old, dance away.

Happened upon this place this evening.The Bayou Club at Tropical Isle is the only place on Bourbon StStreet whe you can listen to live Cajun/Zydeco music. The band tonight was awesome and the bartender was great.

The Bayou Club at Tropical Isle is the only place on Bourbon where you can listen to authentic live Cajun music.The club draws a mature crowd which is a refreshing change of pace. You have to experience Tristan playing the fiddle. He absolutely kills it! If you dont want to hear another faceless band playing Sweet Home Alabama,check out the Bayou Club. You wont regret it.

Home of the hand grenade drink. Went there summer of 2011. Last night in French Quarter went in to party a bit. Had a GREAT time. The 1st cover band was the BEST Ive ever heard. Played a great range of music from soul to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Free Bird was exactly like LS were there playin. One of the best times Ive had in decades. The hand grenade (has shine in it 🎆) didnt hurt either. #^D Dont miss stopping here to par-tay

Employee insulted us and belittled us while we waked down the sidewalk and then she sexually assaulted my friend. I brought this up to the manager and he said he knew about it and that it was okay. We promptly left and encourage others to stay away.

I freaking love the tropical isle mainly for their consistently having GOOD live music, hand grenades and shark attacks. I come to New Orleans once a month with large tour groups (Im a bus driver) of the three hundred bars in a 5 block radius the tropical isle is always delivering a consistent wild time that my passengers commonly say is the best night of the 26 day journey from LA to NYC. Thank you tropical isle Ill be back.Ps. Since Im showing up with a bus load may I have a few comp beers?

If youre not from N.O prepare to be disappointed.. In my opinion the grenade is not worth it along with other drinks on the menu. It taste like Kool-aid with alcohol. New Orleanians swear by it& they love it but many other people that werent from there felt the same way me and my friend did about it. We were all disappointed. The drink in the red tiki cup which i think was supposed to be a rum punch tasted like fruit punch Kool-aid with liquor. Had to drink it bc i didnt want to waste my money which was $20, 100 for the grenade & 10 for my drink.

Yessss!!! This is the place to be when celebrating Mardi Gras!!! U won’t regret it! Just, make sure ur ID is handy bcuz they WILL ID u lol. (Hubby lost his while there that night and was denied entry to other places that evening.

Loved this bar. Philippe on of the bartenders was so awesome to watch he captures the New Orleans spirit for sure. Wish I had gone here my fist night not my last.

Had great time. Ariel at the bar was an angel and loved The Cajun Drifters. Graciously allowed me to sit in for a few numbers. Im a professional. They definitely screened me. Had a wonderful time!

They have cool lasers giving a cool laser show all over the place. I got their hand grenade and it tasted like jolly ranchers green apple. Drink this slow because after three drinks plus this, i got sloshed!

AhhhhhhYeeeeee! This little oasis of the bayou is snuggled into the middle of the chaos of Bourbon street. Not so crazy as the rest. They do, however, have the now french quarter famous hand grenade frozen drink (which I remember buying at a little ice house in french settlement, LA on the Amite river some 20 years ago under another name). Fun, authentic place in the commercial of the quarter.

Like the live music stage built into the bar. The band was great. Drinks seemed a bit watered down, but otherwise awes spot.
