The Green Room 42

I had a wonderful experience at greenroom42. The prices are reasonable, the servers were attentive. I ordered mocktail and dessert. The rooftop has a great panoramic view of buildings.I attended an outdoor movie. Theres enough space that no one was sitting on top of each other. It does get a windy outside in the evenings so bring jacket and your own blanket. Id visit again.

Beautiful venue! Modern minimalist style. The staff were all nice. Enjoy the show with food and drinks!

I had great time in the venue.Bought ticket online to secure a seat. The place is spacious, stylish and clean.Friendly staff and excellent service.The performance was entertaining, and the show was interactive with the audience.Prices were affordable.

This place is so well hidden (inside the Yotel 4th Fl) and when you walk in, you are greeted with kind staff members and an intimate, dim-lit space. You get to feel apart of performance because of how close you can be to the stage (not to mention compelling light visuals, and the sweet spot for listening!!) The show I attended on Halloween was fantastic! ☺️

Had such a special time rehearsing and performing at the green room 42! everyone was so nice and professional. will definitely be back! Loved hanging out here on their terrace!

First time at the Green Room to watch a performance. Excellent venue, spacious yet very intimate vibe. Sound system is also great. Friendly staff and quick service. So nice to see amazing people perform and will most likely go back next time.

We had a wonderful experience here while visiting New York. The food was great. The atmosphere was wonderful and the entertainment was top-notch. We met hailey 🫶🏼 palmer and she was delightful. We understand she manages the green room. Great job, hailey 🫶🏼! We will pass your venue along.

I want to give 3.5 stars but will give 4 because 3 would be short changing them. I DID NOT like the unisex bathroom. The stalls are also very difficult to get in and out of. My drinks were expensive and watered down a bit. The snack food I had was good. I enjoyed the venue and the acoustics were great. I came to see a wonderful and talented singer, that was the most important part..and at ringside for a decent price! Buying tickets online was a breeze but could not get the venue on the phone. The run time was an hour, I wish the singer had more time!

This is a great place. A small caberet theater with dinner and drinks.The show was amazing. The venue is easily accessible by train, car bus or by walking.The staff were helpful and friendly.The drinks were good sized and about $30 for two.Im excited AB seeing more from this place. The shows are affordable and the food is quite good. We went for the Boy Band Brunch. They took our orders before the show started, we ate during the show, and we were settling the check when the show ended. The show is just perfectly timed. The Boy Band Brunch was a lot of fun. Its cheesy, hammy, and beefcakey.... just exactly what youd want a show like this one to be. We had a great time and Im sure Ill be back to bring other friends :-)

Great venue. Was here on Monday night for a special one night event, to enjoy and celebrate the music of Celine Dion. Very stylish interior, prices for food and drinks are good. Selection was pretty good also. Surely everyone will find something to enjoy. Very well managed also and staff was very friendly.

Wonderful space for a small show. Ordering food/drinks via phone was very handy and the menu was a decent and easy size with delicious options.

This was one of the biggest wastes of money I’ve ever seen. The place offers uncomfortable seating, the rooftop is cold and windy (it’s June) and they do not offer enough blankets for everyone. The screen is as small as my home tv and you watch with headphones which ruins the whole atmosphere. The drinks are expensive and the service is slow. I wish I could get my money back. They charge $25 for watching a movie on a bad screen which flops in the wind. The place is in a bar, which has people talking and music playing - disturbing the movie despite the headphones. A terrible movie watching experience. Would not repeat.

Small video projector. Honestly I have the same at home. The aspect ratio was wrong. Image squeezed, the person in charge don t understand it. Having to pay $110 to watch a movie in this kind of conditions is very disappointing

Went there twice while visiting NYC, enjoyed it very much - great show, solid service and great drinks.Some signage (or just a note during the ticket-buying process/on the ticket) would help finding it for first-time visitors though.

Great food, attentive staff, started off outside, but the wind picked up and they were able to move us inside. Ordered the chicken sliders and the crispy Brussels

Wanted to attend a streamed show but online sales had closed.Called the venue, didnt even leave a message, but they CALLED ME BACK so I was able to buy a ticket. I am impressed!

Great Christmas show. Location, inside the hotel Yotel in 42 st. We had so much fun.I was laughing so hard with the unique performances. Not all of them are in jokes bases, which is good. All the crew was fantastic. I enjoyed every single minute of the show. The performances were entertaining and well executed. The female performances were stunningly beautiful.Is a great experience, we love it. Keep up the good job guys. Many success to all the team.

The talent the venue hosts is amazing but the service leaves much to be desired. They will also ignore tables if they are hosting big names in the audience. I went to see Reeve Carney in early October. Not only did our food take forever to come, because they favored a table with an executive at it, but the preformer had already finished and the lights had gone on by the time I was given the chance to pay. This was at Ringside seating. I consistantly have orders come out wrong. Eat before you go folks. The food really is not that great for the price. When Ive voice my concerns about this Im treated like Im the one at fault.

The concert itself was wonderful but finding the place was awful. It is not a new venue, so there is no excuse for not having signs up in the hotel lobby directing people with how to find the theater. I had to wait in line for 20 min downstairs (turns out it was the check in line) because I thought the people were all for the concert. Then, when I got upstairs there were no signs so I had to ask 2 other people where the theater was. Once the concert started it was wonderful but getting inside the theater was awful

I came here tonight to see a great singer. She was great. Unfortunately the Green Room 42 does not live up to the standard. Terrible staff. Sullen, apathetic, and more than happy to ignore you for an hour or more. So you end up having to eat all through the performance. I’ve been a waiter. I know how tough it is. This isn’t tough. This is just bad service. If I see an act I really want to see and it’s at the Green Room 42, I’ll probably pass. 54/Below has it all. This place does not.

The performers are great. Everything else, not so much. The service is inattentive at best. The food is distinctly subpar, especially considering the prices. If you have the choice to see a performer at a different venue, do so. Otherwise, eat before the show.

One of the best nightclubs around. staff is awesome and Mgr. Daniel far exceeds all expectations, great person super helpful and a pleasant to deal with . one of the best nights we have had in quite a while , try not to miss the green room 42

Went to the GreenRoom 42 for the first time. Pleasantly surprised by everything, the decor, lighting, sound, food, price, service and of course the performance. Will definitely be back again. I think it is the best caberet/supper club and affordable too!

Here to see my long time friend, Mark Williams Come Croon with Me. The person by the front desk of the Green Room was very unprofessional, saw me and ignored me for a bit until she was unoccupied to tell me the room was not ready without asking her the question. Thats me ranting about professionalism but the room and the show was wonderful and clean. Great job to Mark, always cheering you on!

Environment was fine. Service was not so good. I guess they expect you to text your order, but we only realized that when the host pointed out a business card tucked into the menu.

I saw Matt Roberts. Such an amazing performance, and hilarious. You wont regret springing for the front row seats.

Amazing staff at the buffet breakfast….Mr Carlos was very very professional….The server Sebastian was very pleasant and caring and alert…..Keep it up you guys 😊

Intimate performance venue in the Yotel on 42nd street. Full menu and bar before and during performances. Lots of cabarets and student work. Check out their website for upcoming shows!

Was here for new York got talent. Fried cauliflower was pretty good. Venu is pretty small. Seating are usually first come first serve.

Great entertainment for the price. Nice staff making everyone feel welcome. One of the best deals in New York. I’m telling everyone I know to try it out
