I am a black member at HL spa I love the staff ! From the moment you walk in you have one on one attention for all your needs. I recommend the laser hair removal and definitely Luanna on doing all your injections she is so good and can’t feel anything . The membership has great perks and so work every cent .

I have been coming to this spa for about a year and have had great experiences each time. The many staff members I have encountered have been friendly and courteous. I have gotten two filler procedures with nurse Luana and several Botox appts and the sessions are amazing and run smoothly. I am very happy with my results, they are beautiful. Luana is super nice and dedicates time to me in each session as well as answering any questions or concerns I may have. In addition, with follow up if needed. Luana has been very professional and makes me feel comfortable. She explains everything. I have also gotten several laser hair removal sessions with several techs and I have no complaints. Overall, I am very pleasantly pleased with this spa and will most definitely continue to return and explore other services. Book your appts!!

I was getting Botox injections there with nurse Luana and they never lasted more than a month. I did about 4 sessions and I’m not going back. On my last session, she had me wait a few minutes past my appointment time in the waiting area, and when she came to me, she mentioned she was getting my Botox ready. Why wouldn’t she get it ready in front of me? You don’t know what brand they are using. They may be selling one brand, but using another, and also diluting it so much that it doesn’t last long

Luisa and Mariana are unmatched. Highly recommend this spa. Cannot stop talking about this place. Their customer service is second to none.The quality is outstanding, exceeding my expectations. At first they did pretty well, a bit pricey but good normal experience, I was a loyal client for a while and even recommended them to plenty of friends and family but after the last time they gave me incorrect information and forced me to pay for their mistake, never again.Im a very meticulous and thorough person so I bought multiple session packages to save some money, at the end of EVERY session I made it a point to ask the front desk how many sessions I had left before making my next appointment. Before my last appointment, no different than every other time, I asked how many sessions I had left in the package and she said I had one more and I even confirmed. The front desk fed me the wrong information either by lack of organization, neglect, or forgot to apply one of the sessions until later but when I came in for my appointment, I went in and was treated, and only after the session did they tell me this was not covered by my package and I had to pay for the individual session. If I had known there werent any more sessions in this package I was not going to schedule another appointment right now. I told them, I ask after every session and someone gave me the wrong information and they said pretty rudely it doesnt matter, you were treated, you have to pay. I insisted I only came because they told me I had a session left and if they had told me before my treatment that they were going to charge me again I wouldve walked out and come back another day instead of scheduling that appointment. They refused to admit their mistake, charged me their absurd amount even though they shouldve told me before my treatment or they shouldve never given me incorrect information in the first place, and when they take no responsibility not even taking into consideration that I was loyal client, they dont deserve anything more than one star. I do not blame the technicians but I blame those responsible for feeding wrong information and refusing to take responsibility and making a loyal client pay for their businesss mistake. Never going back, never recommending to anyone else, in fact Id strongly recommend against, go somewhere else, theres nothing there you cant get somewhere else without the risk of being treated this way.

I’ve been from so many med spas— from NYC to SF/LA. HL med spa is the best! Affordable and you get so much for your money. No other med spa pampers you and treats you the way they do. The staff is incredible— so welcoming, sweet and make you feel super comfortable whatever service you are doing. I started with their diamond glow facials and was obsessed. Best facial I’ve ever had! I then started my Botox there which is also greatly priced. I am now finishing my Morpheus (face and body) and I am so beyond happy I found this gem of a med spa. 10/10 recommend. I could live there if I could!

This spa is incredible, the whole staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, if you are looking for the latest technologies and well trained medical staff this is the place for you! I got the Morpheus 8 laser treatments package, after the 1st session I saw immediate results, HL went up above and beyond they offered me a between Morpheus sessions free IPL treatment during this (did I say complimentary?) session Leila careful examined my skin for any adverse hyperpigmentation or issues, applied two rich masks before proceeding to schedule my second Morpheus session, to me this protocol showed a strong commitment to deliver results without cutting corners, I am impressed!!!

I am a regular at HL Med Spa due to the any service you purchase equals the quality you’re paying for. This last week I enhanced my lips with Luana. All around I recommend her work as she was so patient with me and heard my concerns and addressed them . As well as provided me with a finish product that was more perfect than I could have imagined. She also followed up several times after my service to see how I was feeling and healing. I will return to her for touch ups in the future as her passion shows through her work and it is perfection. In addition to her great costumer service.

Good doctor takes her time to explain and clarify any questions you may have. The negative part is… I had to wait 40min after my appointment to be seen, even though I had an appointment. I didn’t feel welcome in speaking with front desk they had unpleasant attitude. They were too focus on their phone and talking about other clients. Finally I felt pressure to make a next appointment. Which I didn’t. 3 weeks after 35 units of Botox as the doctors suggested Botox was completely gone.. very disappointed.

It is unfortunate that I have to leave this review but this place gets 1 star for their absolute negligence. I had a SkinPen microneedling session performed by Leilan, the owner of this spa and I ended up having an adverse reaction. I contacted the spa and requested to speak to her or the doctor but I did not hear back from either, Leilan did not care enough to give me a call for a procedure she performed. Instead, the receptionist passed a message from the doctor who absolutely misdiagnosed me and claimed it wasnt from the microneedling procedure. But it was. I went to my regular doctor and she said I had a really bad reaction from the procedure and said not to do it again. I also went to my dermatologist because my skin was not healing properly and he said I am left with a lot of hyperpigmentation from the procedure. He also advised not to do it again. Leilan went too deep in my skin and my body couldnt handle it. She even said she used the longest needle. Now I am left with hyperpigmentation and my face looks worse from before. This spa failed to perform the procedure correctly. This spa failed to care, help or support me when I had an adverse reaction. A good Medical Spa stands behind their procedures, even when things go wrong. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

This is the place that you would never want to leave! We went for the first time in June 2022 and didnt stop - even my husband loves it there. We got diamond glow facials, massages, evolve, lumecca, laser hair removal, Morpheus 8 and I recommend all of those. I also truly adore every woman working there - so friendly, caring and will take their time to explain or answer any questions you might have. Plus Leilan did an amazing job with the interiors - clean and modern so you can unwind, relax and let them take care of you. This week I was surprised to hear Mara, the lady who does my treatments is being transferred to a different location and will not be able to continue doing my treatments. I find this very disappointing as she has been working with me since the beginning and knows exactly how my progress is going. I really want to finish my treatments with her, if I can’t I will want a refund. It’s really sad because I have friends who where really excited about wanting to get treatments done with her as well. and I know I’m not the only client disappointed!

Ive been sick with long covid, and it was recommended to go here for a vitamin drip. I did 2 and felt no difference. I get a kind of disorganized feel from the place, Ive had times when Im calling, and no one at all picks up the phone. One time, I had an appointment at 1 p.m., and everyone was gone from the shop. Not a single person was around. 1st time in, and I waited over an 1hr for the drip because they didnt have basic supplies to do the drip. Maybe other people feel comfortable here, but after my second try with them, I think Ill just stay away.

If I could give Nurse Luana 10 stars, I would! She made me feel very comfortable and walked me through everything she was doing. Her knowledge and understanding of the face is unparalleled. She listened to my concerns and gave me honest feedback on what I needed. She is very professional and I am so happy with my results. She is truly a master of her craft. I highly recommend her to anyone who would like maintain their youthful look. Plus, HL MED SPA itself is gorgeous and clean, and everyone who works there is so polite and professional. Will be coming here forever.

The BEST medical spa you’ll find in NJ/NY. The staff is beyond professional, knowledgeable and friendly, the whole place, atmosphere, services and machines are simply top notch, literally the best in the industry. Unfortunately, I did not have a very good experience here. I had extremely high hopes. Upon entering, there were three women by the desk, and one of them was servicing a client on the way out. Although they were speaking a different language, the other two women who were on their phones, could’ve easily checked me in or serviced me. Additionally, no one said hello, or acknowledged me upon entering. I had to awkwardly sit down after standing for a couple of minutes. I am not asking to be wined and dined, but if I walk into a medspa where services are very expensive and generally high-quality, I expect more than being totally ignored. After waiting for about 15 minutes after when my appointment was supposed to begin, I was asked to take photos. This made me very uncomfortable, I was wearing a full face of make up and so there’s no point of taking my picture yet. I also would’ve preferred not to take my photos as I was not asked for consent. This is not OK. If this was a part of the barrage of intake forms, that is also not OK because this is something that some people are uncomfortable with and I would’ve preferred being asked in person if I would feel comfortable having my photo taken. I’m sensitive to light, and I did not like having the ring light in my face.Once I was called into the room, I immediately felt uncomfortable with the woman who did the consultation with me. She seemed as if she didn’t want to be there. I asked about the skin pen procedure and if I was the right person to receive such a treatment. I have previously received micro needling (the stamp variety, not the pen) and the results were great but the pain was a little too much to handle so I want to take explore other options. I would like to add that I did not get the microneedling at this establishment. Had my med spa had the skin pen, I would have gone there first. The woman who I spoke to seemed annoyed at every single question. I asked about the pain level, she quite literally called me “fragile“ because I wanted to ask as much information about the discomfort as possible. She made me feel terrible for asking literally any question on what the procedure is like. I am literally getting needles in my face, I have a right to ask as many questions as I’d like, especially because I’m sensitive to pain and needles in my face. I was incredibly shocked that she called me fragile to my face. She explained that she literally does the Morpheus microneedling to her own face, and that she deals with the pain quite well, and that if I am too “fragile”, to get it, then I should not get it. She called me very “sensitive” too. Listen, I’m aware, but that’s extremely off putting and rude. That’s not how you treat a potential client.She said she doesn’t know what to tell me and that I should be able to deal with the pain if I really wanted to get the procedure. Are you kidding me? This is highly disrespectful. I understand there’s a language barrier, but this is tremendously offputting. You can tell that I am wary of the procedure, so be kind, patient and nice. Had she been nice, patient, and not totally annoyed by every single question, I would have gotten the skin pen right there and then. If your ideal client is someone who can take that rudeness, then, good for you. She even went as far as showing a video to me of her, using the Morpheus micro needling gun on her self. Like, okay? Good for you. That doesn’t make me feel any better, that makes a potential client or patient feel small and like they can’t handle what you can handle. You’re supposed to make me feel comfortable and safe, not alienate me with guilt trips.As someone who spends a lot of money on facial procedures, filler, Botox, and facials, I was expecting more from this Medspa. This woman’s demeanor and conduct was unacceptable and I would not recommend this place to other patients or clients. I’m sorry to leave this review but I was extremely disappointed. Had I had a different experience after the consultation, I absolutely would have paid for the and moved forward.

If you have a dark complexion, be careful with their diamond glow facials. Left with hyperpigmentation & now scars which will take months to resolve. If they are unfamiliar with certain skin types its best not to perform the service and ruin the costumer’s skin. 4 others have had similar experiences. Very upset disappointed.

I was in NJ for a concert and decided to look for a place for a facial while I was there. Found HL medspa on google, checked their website and then their instagram page. Was impressed with the amount of invasive and non invasive procedures offered under the same roof since where I’m from, medspas tend to to have 3 or 4 max. I booked it in advance and when we arrived I was stunned by the beautiful place but what really is their #1 trait is their service. Leila started by asking me qualifying questions to determine what I needed to address my concerns and gave me recommendations to tackle those. In my experience, medspas either give you excellent customer service OR excellent results but NEVER both. Please believe me when I tell you you will get both here, that’s unheard of ! I drove 4 hrs to go back a second time and Mara and Luana gave me the same world class service I received the 1st time. That proves their team is nothing but excellent and I can happily say I will go back to HL medspa despite where I live.

Very disappointed with this establishment. I had an appointment today at 8:30 A.M with Mara, and when I got to the establishment to do the procedure, I was already inside of the room when they told me that someone else that wasn’t Mara was going to do my procedure. When I made my appointment I booked with Mara no one else but her. To put on top of that yesterday, when they called me to confirm my appointment no one told me that Mara doesn’t work there anymore and someone else would take her spot. They wait for you to go to their location and except the change without notice for them not to lose the client and the money. I don’t think that is fair nor is it them being honest about their work. They made me waste 25 mins to go down to Newark and they just told me that Mara wasn’t working when I was inside of the room waiting for her.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Jacqueline Hayar and I am really very happy after listening to everything that she explained to me with great professionalism. Hl is the best med spa in the region, excellent service, Ana at reception is incredible and so are the other girls, for the laser Mara and Regiane are incredible, they take care of me and my daughter, Luanas botox is a wonderful, incredible professional and uses botox from excellent quality, diamondglow with Claudia or Leila, I also thought it was perfect! And finally, the icing on the cake, my favorite NUERA treatment done with Renata, wonderful treatment, a difference seen in the first session, it exceeded all my expectations!
