Exceptionally cute venue, staff all had Aperol Spritz’ in their hand which was a vibe, sound person was scrolling the gram throughout the show with her phone glowing in her face. Bands were rad.

Really nice space! Cool retro vibe bar, cozy ambiance, good music, with a pool table in the back. Def want to come back for a live show or performance in the room next door. Looks a lot better than many of the older review photos!

So I went in this place just to pass a little time. I met Sylvee. She is the sexiest woman I’ve ever met from Detroit and to my surprise, she was as sweet as she is gorgeous. I finally understand why Eminem doesn’t want to tour anymore. I’m service oriented and not opposed to beautiful women. The service was amazing and almost matched her beauty. She looked me right in the eye and called my name. Ummmmm fan for life.

Loved the atmosphere and vibes of the bar. However, the show my girlfriend and I went to go see ended early, without prior notice, and last call rang in at roughly 6:50pm. To our disappointment, we decided to at least get one more round and relocate to the back of the venue. However, we were promptly asked to leave because another show was starting, and there was a private event starting. We were given no advanced notice that we would have to leave. And we were unable to finish our round of drinks we had just purchased. Would have been nice to know time restrictions prior to making a purchase, paying the cover charge, etc, .... deceptive.

Cool bar. Came just before closing so only there for a bit. Good crowd.

Always one of the best spots in Oakland for a show , this night was Al HARPER Band record release party. There was line dancing, it was wild. You can count on a good time here.

Dam near the only cheap place to drink in the whole bay, Brock and Zoe are the sweetest bartenders Ive ever met in my life and I love them more than u could imagine

Horrible experience the bartender was unnecessarily, rude and unprofessional, all my queer POC friends were very uncomfortable by bartenders vibe/attitude towards them. Literally ignoring us while trying to get drinks and grab tab. Also lied about not making mixed drinks when I asked and she said only shots or beers then proceeds to serve two people next to me cocktails. Just felt hater vibes for no reason.

Hole in the wall appeal turned glamorous dive bar-- indoors is a dance floor for live music and free pool table; what more could you ask for?! maybe a cash only secondary bar window? and a spacious back patio for smoke breaks

I miss this place so much. Me and my sister went last year and the owners so kind and friendly. I loved learning about the history of this bar. All of the people here were so fun and welcoming. We were supposed to go back again this year but you know, covid. I think about this bar constantly and I hope they can open again so I can come visit. Never in my life have I had such an experience this amazing with any bar ever.

Tom is such a sweetheart! He introduced himself to the group I arrived with and gave me a mini beer tasting when I told him how I didnt have a clue about my beer preferences. The music is not too loud and it wasnt packed (although it was Sunday evening) but Tom truly seems like a great person to be around/know.

Fun place to listen to music. No credit cards are accepted. The bathrooms flooded (was told it happens often). They had signs directing us to use the place next door. Feels dirty, but cool outdoor patio, I suppose.

My vodka tonics were okay, not super strong.

Always have a good time at Stork. My band ANISTAZI has played several times there, and really appreciate the staff, and the sound engineer, for the great job they do to make this heritage neighborhood bar a good place to be.

Ive been coming here as s musician and audience meber for 20 years.. tonight I forgot my wallet and the door boy wouldnt let me in even though Im 37 and obviously not under age. I got My wallty and returned and wasnt allOwed in because the door boy with face tattoos decided he doesnt like me. This place treats loyal customers this way.

Friendly punk bar that has gone a lot ttle more neighborhood in its comfortable establish years. Great Wells, friendly American terriers a sweet slice of oaklands casual bar scene with a love of all things bay area. Invasion if an owners 50th birthday the night after I had to leave town hailed burlesque over a Barbie collection and a photo booth. A bar who knows your name on the second visit, I could learn to miss it

Can be loud, but you can escape to the bar and another room and even outside.

This place is horrible dont book your band here. Bartender is a piece of garbage and door guy is a total perverted wastoid. Be smart and avoid this place all together.

Over iced over priced drinks 3.00 for a Diet Coke with so much ice you couldn’t fit the straw in. Which is a tactic to jip customers. Same with there alcohol drinks. Over iceing is the same as watering down your drinks. We are not stupid stop jipping customers.

Long tine oakland venue and bar. A hole in the wall with a good atmosphere. A variety of different people having drinks and hanging out. Smoke on the patio, listen to music, get a pbr.

Door boy with face tattoos and owner are terrible. Dont go to this bar there are plenty other dives that dont treat loyals and locals the way they do. This bar needs to go. I repeat do not go to this bar.

Beer selection is poor, theres a cover but the place is a dive bar at best. Prices are not any cheaper than nicer bars in the area.

I went yrs ago it used to have a night when musicians in the club could come up and have a improved jam session

How was this place not open during a Friday night? And especially during First Friday. What a way to miss out on all that foot traffic.
