There’s a reason why there’s no wait for dinner at Leon’s (which is why we went).We went (family of 6) around 8:30 for dinner and we had to ask the server to come help us, half of our order was wrong, and we were one of two tables in the place. When the food came, we didn’t even have utensils. This is definitely an establishment focused on the bar customers (there were not many of those either) and not a place for a dinner (even cheap eats) on vacation with the family. We love queer friendly establishments at home (in a major metropolitan area) as the service and vibe is usually amazing!! Not sure if they didn’t want to serve us as it was late and we had kids, or this is standard there. Definitely didn’t feel welcome. Don’t waste your time or money, wait in line somewhere else.

Stopped in for appetizers. Skewered shrimp and Old Bay wings were good. We were the only people in there on a Sunday afternoon so it was quiet.

Stopped in for Thursday karaoke with J Wo. Cant beat the duck fat fries. We both had delicious foot longs. The bartender, Justin, was very attentive. Give this place a try. The menu is fun.

We are so excited Leon’s is here!! It’s more than just an amazing queer-friendly space in OC. The food is good, the service is wonderful (our server, Justin, was knowledgeable, attentive, and just genuinely friendly!), and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. We would feel equally comfortable bringing our kiddo here (shout out for the kids menu!) as we would coming for a date night and sitting at the bar to make new friends. The happy hour specials (especially the wings!) can’t be beat. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved Whiskers!!! This makes me so sad!We had a beer. It’s a no to the atmosphere. My husband had 2 appetizers. They were ok.

We had a great time at Leon’s at the Beach this St Patrick’s Day weekend. Our server was friendly, welcoming, remembered our drink orders for six people and the bar tender made excellent drinks.

We were shopping near by while on vacation and decided to grab a drink. Happy hour prices were fantastic and the staff was even better! We then decided to get some food to take back to our hotel and we were amazed and how great everything tasted! We wish we were there longer so that we could have went back to try more!

Food was okay. Has been a staple for our visits to OC every year. Restaurant is under new ownership and the meals arent nearly as good as they used to be. The crabby burger had about a tablespoon of crab. Burger was cooked and tasted fine otherwise. Service was bordering on rude. Hopefully it improves as it used to be a favorite of ours off season included.

Wonderful experience. Wait staff attentive. Food fresh and delicious. We had steamed shrimp cooked perfect,crab burger made with Angus beef and shrimp salad . Price point great. We will be back soon

Returned for dinner last week. We sat in a booth and service was prompt.Food was excellent again. We both ordered the Mahi dinner with sides. Generous portions and very good.Seats at the bar were not full which is different from the past, however, most of the tables were full.

I am very surprised that this place isnt as packed as it should be(granted, we were out on a night that most people are shut in). The staff, drinks, and atmosphere are all fantastic. We will definitely be back, next time for the food too, not just drinks!Also, take advantage of the touch tunes juke box. Was told not many people know about it.

Spectacular bar with a dive feel in North Ocean City. Stopped in to watch the end of the os game, and have a couple drinks. Friendly staff, great feel. The decor was definitely super 80s but I love it! Worth your time!

Underwhelming in every aspect. Wait was over an hour and all of the food was made incorrectly. There were no updates as to why our food was taking so long and when I received my burger, it was cooked well done (asked for medium rare) and had little taste. Asked for waters multiple times but none were brought out. Saw multiple groups come in after us but leave before us due to wait times after ordering. Will not be returning.

I was just at Whiskers Pub, and was so impressed with how amazing the food quality and service was here. Everything was spot on, and the new ownership is working very hard to make sure the food quality is high, and the service is speedy. I now have my favorite Pub/Bar to depend on in OC for delicious food, super size portions, pleasant atmosphere, and speedy service

I wish we had known that the business changed hands and only recently reopened. When we arrived, we were told they were out of crab dip and only had two burgers left. It wasn’t busy at all so it was lack of preparation. It did take a very long time for the food to arrive but there was 7 of us. The food was just ok. Prices are still reasonable but shoestring fries out of a bag just aren’t my thing. We may stop back in next summer to see how things shake out.

My sister and I ordered the salad. Waiter came out and said they didn’t have enough lettuce for my wedge salad. I ordered a Pub Salad then with Mahi Mahi. Salads had no cucumber or tomato’s and they were very small, certainly not worth the $10 price they charge. My husband said his ribs were good. It’s not the same place we used to frequent.. then the food was good and worth the price.

Was there yesterday. Great place. Wings were delicious. Service was great. Was there for long time hanging at the bar. Didn’t seem any delay in food service. Bartender Cal was the best. I talked with owner for a long time. And he was very personable. Please support this small business.

Awesome bar. Very chill vibe compared to most places in Ocean City. Both of the bartenders were great and the few other people that were sitting at the bar were nice as well. Cant say anything about the food because I didnt get any

We were going to order delivery but found this place online and went in instead. So happy we did!!Fantastic food and friendly staff. Meals were quick, fresh and hot. The Reuben was good with thicker corn beef. The Crabby Chicken and Crabby Burgers were fantastic with the best crab dip we had all week!They have a great happy hour too.

The last night of our girls getaway vacation we stumbled upon this pub by accident, and we are so glad we did. Dani was one of the most upbeat, attentive, fantastic servers we have ever encountered in OC! This pub is very diverse and welcoming to everybody and the drinks were amazing. A super nice gentleman (maybe the owner) walked around and checked on all the customers and handed out Whiskers Pub stickers. Thank you Whiskers Pub for giving us another reason to look forward to our annual trip to OC!

I loved Whiskers! Had a few beers then I was ready for a cocktail. I wanted gin and the bartender Ed suggested a gin fizz. Wow did it knock my socks off, it was so summery and light and crisp and delicious! Everyone sitting at the bar was so friendly, fantastic atmosphere!

Went here for some late night drinks and it was really chill and cool. One of the guys that worked there (Caleb) was super nice and helpful and fun to talk to! He made it an even better experience than it already was!

Weve been going to Whiskers a couple times a year for twenty plus years both during the season and off-season. Last night was the first time weve seen the place was not busy. Not sure why but may have something to do with the owners overly defensive (somewhat aggressive) responses to customers reviews. Hopefully things turn around enjoy stopping in for a quick drink.or meal.

I wanted to give Whiskers a try as they advertise towards the LGBTQ community. Their hours indicate they are open until midnight on Sunday’s during the season. I went by at 1030p and the place was dark. Checked the hours on the door and said open till midnight. I then went to their Facebook page to see if there is a emergency closing and there was no new post. Would’ve love to try to place, but not too sure when they are actually open.

We stopped in to see the new changes and I must say I was impressed with the taste of food and prices !the staff was nice and friendly. Overall great service .jackie the bartender was funny and gave us an awesome experience. We will be back …

We arrived early to OC on Saturday. Needed to get some food while we waited a fee hours for our check in. The doors at Whiskers opened at 1130 am. Including our group, about 25 people waited outside. Although they only had 1 cook and 1 bartender/server working, these guys did amazing! Food was great and service fantastic.

Horrible experience, service was extremely slow and the food was frozen refried garbage. This isn’t the same Wiskers since it changed ownership. Good luck keeping the doors open. Our family will stick to Fast Eddie’s next door.

Another great experience this weekend. We stopped in Friday and again this evening. Service was very good and food super. Getting back to normal. Not super crowded but nice crowd

We normally love this place. Come to O.C. 3 times a year and visit Whiskers at least twice each trip. Went for dinner Sunday night and was told they were closing kitchen because cook was sick. Went last night and they were totally closed. Anyone there this past weekend get covid tested. You can never be too safe

Very cozy little pub. 😉 Food was pretty good. Prices a bit on the high side. The walk through the restaurant is tight to say the least. 😆 You feel a bit like someone is going to strike up a conversation anytime staff or another patron has to walk through, simply because they are navigating a tiny, crowded space. Staff was friendly and polite. Not overly attentive but we were there during dinner rush. Theyre located in a good, central spot in OC, and I think it was a decent choice for our first night as we needed to get groceries (Food Lion is nextdoor) and also wanted to check out The Buzzed Word which is in the same strip.

Every year must! This year I went and then got take out another night we liked it so much. Crabby chicken hands down my favorite. Chicken tenders are good for kids and adults. Nice and friendly staff. See ya next year. Or maybe this fall, lol

Always thumbs up. For over 20 years Whiskers has delivered. Fine service, fine food, welcoming atmosphere (save Covid-19). While Im not certain of the founding date, as long as weve been coming, there has never been a disappointing visit. They used to have a PERFECT ultimate hotdog, cheese, chili, mustard, onions, jalapeños, sauerkraut, relish, it was disgustingly delicious and why we returned. Today you need to ask to be disgusted so gloriously but EVERYTHING on the menu is superb. Happy hour crab dip and clams is my sweet spot. Highly recommended!

Local pub with full bar and superior pub food. I frequently go there for Wednesdays happy hour special of a full rack of the meatiest ribs I have ever enjoyed with 2 sides. Costs $20 and well worth it! Cook is excellent and staff is pleasant. Check out their other every day happy hour specials as well. Some really great deals!

Stayed at a condo near 120th street. Went to Whisker’s Pub 3 times during the week. It was that good. It is a hidden gem with above average bar food and service. Great spot for a cool down beer as well!

Waitress was very nice but it took over an hour for our food and the food was bad. The burgers were overcooked and the fries tasted terrible. All the food was overcooked and lacked any flavor.

We came in for a quick drink and bite and were pleasantly surprised! Beer and soda tasted great, nice to know the lines are clean! Ordered 2 burgers, both were excellent and cooked exactly to specifications. Inexpensive, clean, good food and beer - what more could you want?

The best cheese steak in the pines area. Always sub the sweet potato fries... worthy of the up charge. Great bar staff and karaoke. Note to the owner.... lose the kale garnish. Very well placed but not needed. Save some bucks on that weekly case of kale and serve more of the sliced carrot garnish. Those are always a tasty treat.

I got crabby burger. Didnt see or taste much crab which used crab dip. Cheddar used which helped. Burger was good. Slaw small little tiny serving. Hubby got bacon cheddar burger 🍔 😋 recommend that instead $14 for ea. Kinda high since only chips & dollup of slaw...But good.

Went there Saturday with a friend and loved the atmosphere, the staff everything was amazing and made me very comfortable. Keep up the amazing work !! Definitely will be returning.

If youre a Redskins Fan this is the place for you. Redskins memorabilia galore! Love their Truck Driver sandwiches - hot roast beef with gravy is delish! Burgers are great, as well. HH specials 7 days a week. Definitely worth stopping by for a drink and a bite to eat.

Closed until Jan 1, but they are renovating and changing their name to Leons. Hopefully they will continue to support our Pride with the rebranding!

This place is a hidden gem. Been coming to OCMD for years and never been. service was great. The atmosphere was laid back and nice. Had the crabby chicken sandwich, so good! Others had crabcake and also said it was good. Shrimp salad had whole shrimp instead of the little mini baby shrimp you see a lot. Definitely recommend.

Whiskers had some of the most ok food one could ask for while on vacation. It was fine. It filled me up and I was no longer hungry. If you are expecting anything more than that you will be disappointed. The service was great; the cleanliness was not. I would not return only because a McDonalds and a liquor store are within 3 blocks.

Whiskers is fantastic. Great service and quaint interior. Nice ice cold mugs for our beer and a hit with the hot wings. Rib Eye Cheese Steak was incredible. Excellentante!

Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. Even though it is rated well on here, its in the Food Lion shopping center. I have been in town for almost a week and this was my 4th try for good crab cakes, which are my favorite food, when done right. These were done right. They were excellent and were priced well. At $22 for twin crab cakes, they were the cheapest of the 4 places we tried. Its a small place and might not be good for large groups. It is mostly high backed, 4 person booths. The TVs are all along the wall over the bar and on the wall opposite the door. I wish we had found this place earlier during our visit.

Food is really good and so is the service. The burgers are excellent. Really like this place. They have a happy hour and really good food specials. Half price burgers on Thursday (eat in) during the winter

Beer before happy hour was way over priced. Didnt have any food this trip. Was a bit sorry we went that early because it is usually one of my favorite spots.

Very nice quiet place to go to get away from all of the rat race, I found this place one night back in June about 15 years ago. It was raining out and all the bars were jammed up with drunks and freaks. And I just wanted to get away I found this Hidden Gem. Went in had a few drinks and the bartender told me about there half-pound hamburgers. I noticed it was a nice polite older crowd that hung out there, I had a really good time the two weeks I was down the ocean hanging out there when I want to get away from all of the noise. I know I still go there today so very nice quiet place to go when you just want to sit in a normal bar eat watch TV and talk with some nice people who are locals down in Ocean City and Delaware.

Id love to give it one star So nobody came in so Id have a seat when I come back just couldnt do it extra extra cold beer we didnt eat this time but the last time we had burgers that were good services great Very nice Change in pace while at the beach

I have been coming to OC for years and passed this place tons of times and had never been. Ordered carry out today, it was delicious. The blackened mahi mahi steak sandwhich was awesome and the sweet chili sauce that comes with the shrimp appetizer wrnt great on top of the sandwhich.

We accidentally ran into this place and it was the best decision. We even ended up going the next night to eat. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is DELICIOUS. I would definitely return when I venture back to OCMD

The best hamburgers you have ever tasted and really good sweet potatoes fries. OC USE TO HAVE THE BEST CRAB CAKES EVER AT CAPTAIN GALLRY AND BLUE CHEESE DRESSING. SOLD BUSINESS AND.NO ONE.COPIED THE RECIPES. POOR BUSINESS LOST FOREVER. WHY?

Stopped here on the way to the ferrie headed to Jersey. Staff are on point with service and attitude. Wife loved her Reuben sandwich. My Death Burger...yes...DEATH BURGER was an absolute 12/10! Id punch a neighbor in the face if it meant I could get one back home or anywhere else. If you pass through Ocean City, MD and dont stop here, its your loss. Eat here.

We have been going here the last couple of years. They have really good food, service & atmosphere. I just tried their new fish tacos. They are the best I ever had.

This is a great little bar that is located in the Food Lion shopping center on 120th street. Youd almost miss it if you werent looking for it. We went in for drinks and snacks and everything was great. We had the chicken fingers with hot sauce and the bacon cheese fries. I think both plates were gone in less than 5 minutes and it was just 2 of us. Beer was cold and the staff was very nice and friendly. As a side note, being Steeler fans, we especially like that the place is heavily decorated with Redskins merch instead of the Ravens, haha. We will definitely be returning!

I had a half an hour to kill for the wife and I stopped in because we heard they had really cold beer. This is absolutely true. This was the best beer I had had in all of Ocean City. I would definitely go back again.

Always a favorite everytime we visit. Relaxed and family friendly. Service is great, prices are good being in a touris/vacation area and you cannot go wrong w anything on the menu.

Redskins bar, with memorabilia of the Os and Caps as well. Laid back and not over crowded like many places in OC. Love the crab dip. The fish tacos are really good. Love the crab cakes and mahi steaks too. Try their potato skins loaded with chicken salad. I know it sounds odd, but they are delicious!

This little place has a lot to share!!! Enjoyed the atmosphere, waiter was on cue! Everyone from 10 to 54 yo enjoyed something. Ill be back

Great hole in the wall. My wife had the crabcake sandwich she said it was the best one she had all weekend. Huge lumps of crab. An absolute treasure in a low key location

An old school no judgement pub hidden away in northern OC.Jay is one of the most attentive and kind barkeeps Ive met and enjoy his company when I pop in.Also its a Redskins/WFT bar. That alone makes it a favorite.

Nice place! The Seafood Soup was very good. Rockfish Fingers were pretty damn good too. The EVO Lot 3 was very good as usual.

Food was great the Waitress was very friendly if you want good food than try this place out.

Nice friendly bar with good food and a relaxing atmosphere. More of an OC locals bar, but accepting of tourists. Its out of the way in a generic shopping center, but I always visit when Im in town.

Great out of the way place to enjoy great food and drinks. Ive only been there off season, but I cant imagine it would lose its locals-vibe in the busier season.

Been coming to this place for a number of years. Its not touristy, just a nice little bar and some booths, with good food and friendly service. Winner.

The food was horrible. They got my order wrong. The waitress sucked. Food took forever and the place was empty. They ran out of chicken wings. I would not recommend this place.
