Good environment, way overpriced for what was done.... got French tip, gel, which is what I got... but Ive never had them peel off in under 10hrs!!! Thats absolutely crazy! I got them done yesterday and half werent fully reaching each side of my nail. Im not sure if it was the polish gel used or poor curing...but poor application in general. I mentioned I was a bartender so they typically cure for longer (at least at my usual salon) I got two gel services mani pedi and paid for my friends pedi and the total was $190...will stick to my regular nail place :(
The first time I went it was a great experience however, the last time I went I called ahead for a pedi. I got there and the receptionist sat me in a pedi chair and the lady came out and I said I had broken a toenail. She started to file it then when she was done I ask if she was going to start the water to soak my feet never . She then called another lady who said do you want a pedicure and I said yes that’s what I called for. She then said we’ll move over here. So I’m moved to another chair and then she acted as if she was upset because I wanted a pedicure and while she was scrubbing my feet I noticed something hurting my toe and looked down and it was bleeding where she had scrubbed so hard. Extremely unprofessional. Do not go there.
I went yesterday as a walk-in. It was my first time and I went with my sister and little cousin who were first timers as well. We truly enjoyed ourselves and our nails came out great! Thank you all for your pleasant service!
Pedicure was lightning fast, not relaxing, sometimes painful, and the polish was all over. The man doing my pedicure could care less about my experience and just wanted to get it done. I won’t be back!
This was my favorite go to nail salon! I hadnt been in a few months and recently went in. The lady next to me was so frustrated & upset with her service from a new young man that looked about 16. I also had a very young new nail tech that couldnt speak any English. Got a full set that was lumpy & bumpy. The dip over the tips starting coming off after 3 days, I talked to the owner, who I adore & she told me to come back in. I no longer live in Pensacola so couldnt get over there after work. Julie at the front desk is phenomenal, the owners are phenomenal & my regular nail tech Jason is amazing. I can only do walk ins on Sunday after church in Pensacola. The newer, younger techs dont seem to be fully trained to the caliber of work expected at the Nail Lounge. Make sure to get a breakdown of your receipt.,Ive had the exact services done and its a different price each time. Jason, Jenny & Julie, thanks for all of your professionalism, talent & hospitality. Perhaps ask if the wine is complimentary. I will miss this nail salon, however I cant take my chances with who may or may not be working on Sundays as no appointments are taken. Good luck to all, but there are at least 2 young nail techs there that shouldnt be representing such a prestigious nail salon. If you want the best service & can schedule an appointment, see Jason, hes the best!!!!! I wish I could schedule him on a Sunday.
I have been going to the Nail Lounge for the past 5 or 6 years and love it. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend asking for Nancy to do your nails. She is very professional and always does an excellent job! I have never been disappointed when she has done my nailsThank you, Nancy!!!!
Pedicure and nails done today but Lily….love her and she does beautiful work.
I know there’s been some negative reviews lately and it almost made me turn around in the parking lot but I’m glad I didn’t. I was truly blown away. Today was my first visit and I had Donna do my acrylics and I thought she did wonderful. The woman up front, I believe her name was Julie, was great too. So accommodating. She made sure I was ok several times. Definitely will be back.
I wish in the future I know they cost more because I try to do both for each thing my nails or my feet later on Im going to go to a different place to get my nails done and my feet done
I had a gift card . They would not honor it because they have a new computer system. Also, they use old polish. Its already peeling.
I have been here several times and have never had issues, always good service. My first time getting Dip Nails and they fell off within a week. First nail fell off on Day 6, no problem I went in on Day 7 and they fixed it. Nail two fell off later that night (day 7) and three and four fell off on Day 8. Its day 10 and all of them are now off except the two they replaced. When I called for a refund, I was told they can only do repairs/refunds if its in the first 7 days. If a dip manicure is supposed to last at least 2 weeks (being conservative) this makes no sense to me. A huge amount of money I cannot get back and did not get what I paid for. If I only wanted them to last a week, I would have done regular polish. A
Jenny Tran who is the manager is absolutely useless. I fell in the salon going down the stairs and had to spend hours in the ER to get checked out and get xrays. All that anyone said to me after falling was Oh so sorry, we know it is slippery. When returning to get information about their insurance to cover an accident, she said it isnt covered because I had on my own shoes even though no other option was given for other shoes. Then she said she just took over the salon and has no insurance and that her independent contractors in the salon only carry their own insurance and she has none. Then she just went round and round with me about me wearing my own shoes and how she isnt at fault. Then she said she doesnt own it and cannot give me the owners contact information. She is certain to make sure to get your credit card for $180 in services, but she is also sure to not have insurance to cover a slip and fall incident within the building which she conducts business. And it is a shame because over the years we have come here for numerous services. Now when something happens and you need a business to handle things like a reputable business, just wow how they drop the ball. Better yet, they dont just drop the ball, they ensure that you will be in an unsafe and environment and have no insurance to cover the repercussions.
Lost the luster. Front desk person very impersonal. We went for the wine but were offered water and had to specifically request wine once seated. Raised prices - ok. Inflation. But at least reprint the menu instead of using stickers that dont hide the old prices. Tried to charge for a higher service so watch your bill! Pedicure was good but I had a bad taste after they tried to jack up my service cost.
I had the BEST PEDICURE of my life tonight with Tan. It was SO relaxing. I have had many pedicures at a variety of different places over the past 20 plus years, and she was just incredible. Additionally, I have gone places and paid double the cost or more and it STILL wasn’t as good as her! I did, however, stub my two front toes on my car door when I was getting out, so I am going to go back and she if she can fix those little spots tomorrow (it’s totally my fault), but either way, I left a VERY happy customer. She said she does massage, too, so I will DEFINITELY be trying that some day!
I think the prices are grossly over inflated, I especially dont like paying for wine that Im not drinking and they can call it complementary all they want to, no for profit business is giving away free wine! Every single person that sits in that chair and selects one of the services that come with a complementary glass is paying for that nasty junk! I was most perturbed that they did not give me the $5 credit for getting mani/pedi at the same time, stating they werent offering that at this time even though their menu which had plenty of tape all over it with updated (increased) pricing didnt say anything about that! I will not be back. I could have gotten a less expensive mani/pedi in New York City!
I have been 3 times Last 2 times I haven’t felt welcomed at all, more like a nuisance. Last time the guy was so rough I had multiple cuts and was sore for days. Thinking I would just avoid the male techs, so I didn’t get him again, I went back today. Today I had a lady, she cut me, also, then proceeded to use polish over the blood (I’m assuming she will be using that polish on someone else 😖) Also today when she was waiting for the cuticle cream to soften, she picked up the nail clippers and file she was using on me, and started clipping and filing her own nails. She didn’t speak much English so she just shoved my hands and feet where she wanted them. She didn’t try to interact with me at all. Won’t go back. Spent $70 of my birthday money and regret it.
This place is really a trip. I came a few years ago and the service was OK at best, but the tech messed up gel polish on natural nails - still not sure how she did that. Now, a few years later, i’ve come twice, and still can’t manage to get serviced. First trip, they asked me to come back four hours later, this trip, I walk in LITERALLY 1 MIN after they take the last client and they refused to do a fill - not to mention I called 5hrs prior & they refused to make an appointment insisting they accept walk ins & failed to tell me when they except their last client…I’m over it!
I love this place, I do. I generally just do a walk in, if I have the time to be able to go and do something for myself I have the time to wait if they happen to be busy. The longest I had to wait was 20 min MAYBE. But they have a bar you can sit at and wait, water wine or soda.I have only had sub par service maybe 1-2 time. Typically I get Tan and she does a phenomenal job every time. Lane (? She sits next to Cody) has done my nails twice and she is so detail oriented and fast it’s also just great to watch her work her magic.Downfalls: gel here is $27 extra, a piece. So that means toes $27 and fingers $27 if you get both. Have your own to bring in? Still $27 extra. The last time I went in I had the Napa pedi and my usually fill with Gel. And I don’t know how, but my feet actually look and feel worse than they did when I went in. My heels have been dried out and cracking despite my usual foot care routine. The guy who did it kinda seemed like he was in a hurry though.I will still come here, because I honestly don’t have the time and desire to find a new place I like. I also think the great service I receive makes up for the less than stellar.
Kay gave me a great pedicure! She is friendly, professional and easy to talk to. Ive always liked Nail Lounge, but now I like going there even more. I didnt get her name, but the receptionist was super friendly, too. Update 2023: this is the only nail salon I go to. The people are all so friendly and always give me a soothing, relaxing pedicure.
I went in to have different polish. I have long natural healthy nails. I expressed to them that I do not use the Dremel “the drill” what they use on acrylics and fake nails on my natural nails because it will damage and burn my natural nails. I have never had a issue with this request. That’s actually the purpose of the powder dip is to grow your natural nails long and healthy. I was told they were unable to accommodate that here. I “tried” to explain rather than being quick and running a drillAcross my natural nail to remove polish quickly that you simply have to soak it longer and use a natural nail file. Not only was the owner not accommodating she was rude and her staff was clueless. Unless you want a salon that’s gonna break your natural nails down to wear your force to use acrylics I would BEWARE!
Nail Lounge has been my go to since we moved here 4 yrs ago. Ni is my go to lady highly recommend her 🥰🥰🥰
I have been visiting the Lounge for years back (at least for 9 years) and I only used private rooms each time that I have visited (always a guest in tow alongside of me). I reserved a Private Room again upstairs the Sunday before Mothers Day weekend, and was thoroughly embarrassed at the service and etiquette received. They explained that they normally do not book appointments for Sunday, but found mine in their computer. The man up front (after myself and partner waited, waited, and huffed for 30 minutes past appt. time) rudely asked ME who booked my service? They then left us sitting at the bar for 20 more minutes (1 hour total at this point) while asking different staff if they could take us upstairs and do our manicures and pedicures. The staff all said, No! and I quickly asked for the manager. She was curt and offered us zero resolutions and still no service. The business has CHANGED for the ruder, the less timely, and seasoned, loyal customers no longer matter. Any suggestions to a new, private, local spot that completes both Pedicures and Nails?
The chargr $15-20 more than everyone else Im town for a gel pedi. She didnt even offer to razor my feet and honestly just did an OK job. I wont be back.
The full set I got cost more because I wanted coffin shaped nails, on top of that my nail broke the next day picking up a garbage bag from a cabinet. I hadnt hit my hand or anything hard and it just fell off. I called to get it repaired, and it cost me $5 to fix it and then another $5 for the polish. The fixed nail looks different than the full set. She didnt even ask how he did it, she did the coffin design her own way instead of shaping them like the rest.I WILL NOT be patronizing this location again. The guy who originally did the nails cut my skin on my thumb because he didnt take the time to push my skin down away from my nail. Ive had better service in the mall nail sweat shop. They are over priced for average service. And their polish selection is few with a lot of the same color just different names from the companies
Service is always amazing and i enjoy my visit there every time i go! Tan did me so well and i appreciated her understanding with all of my requests. the first time i had my nails done here, it lasted much much longer than expected! i always recommend Nail Lounge!
My boss bought all us of girls gift certificates for pedicures. Three of us called and made appointments two days prior to come in at 2:15 on a Saturday. I guess if you walk in there would be a wait, but it is a busy salon so just out of courtesy I would always make an appointment. This is not the salon at Wal-Mart where you can walk in and wait maybe ten minutes. Since we had an appointment we were immediately able to pick our colors and be ushered to pedicures chairs. However, much to my surprise the lady in reception told us that once we picked our color we could go upstairs. None of us had been there and did not know what to expect, but they put us in a private room with four chairs and a T.V. We were immediately offered drinks and recommended raspberry champagne, which was delicious! The three techs who did our nails were extremely courteous and nice. We had seen the bad reviews and were glad that we ignored them because we fully enjoyed our appointment! After our pedicures were finished they did not rush us out at all. They let us sit in there and drink and watch television until our toenails dried. We have decided to make this a monthly ritual. The moral of the story is, chances are, if you call ahead and make an appointment you will have a more pleasant visit because they are expecting you and can better accommodate, rather than having a bum rush come in on a Saturday afternoon. We got the basic pedicure package, and it was not any more expensive than other salons, and they offer so much costumer service here and free drinks!
My friend and I went in for a pedicure for our birthdays , the pedicures were fine so we got manicures … that’s when we saw the full magnitude of the uncleanliness first on the shields in front of us looked like someone sneezed and spewed on it , the area where our hands were and all around was full of dust and nail clippings , we next had to sit in a disgusting drying area that had nail equipment stacked on it with dust all over it , then we looked down near our feet and there was an exposed electrical wires that had a cover that should have been on it right near our feet .. I went and told the manager and quietly and nicely showed her the unsanitariness all around that made our experience horrible hoping she would clean it but did not … we paid 110.00 and 40.00 in tip … after feeling cheated and had a bad spa day that we much deserved we left .Not to mention they put 4 coats of a fresh polish that I brought in all at once instead of allowing to dry in between , our nails are glumpy . The next day I went back to salon and politely asked for a refund on our “unhappy unsatisfied spa experience” only for the 110.00.. I didn’t want to take back the girls tips . They said manager would call and didn’t. When I called back tonight she would not even allow me to finish a sentence … I am an experienced hairstylist makeup artist of 40 years who has never asked for a refund ever . Don’t waste your precious money on this establishment . You will be sadly disappointed . It was once a clean and professional place but not anymore.
Gel polish started chipping and lifting in two days…asked them not to use electric grinder so instead of the soak off polish (which I expected) she began prying polish off with her nail and metal tool and lifting layers of my natural nail with it! Went there for the last time.
This place used to be my go to anytime I was in Pensacola. I loved the dim lighting and quiet jazzy vibe. It was quiet, clean, and peaceful and a place to relax. However, it has desperately gone down hill. I was just in there and brought my mom. The technicians themselves were pleasant. However the rest of the staff were shouting, one sat lazily in a chair texting and simply shouting at people as they came in , never looking up from her phone. A child (who belonged to someone working in the salon) ran around shouting the ENTIRE time.I was rushed out of the chair after my pedicure and the polish didn’t have a chance to dry. It got messed up and I was made to feel like an inconvenience when I asked for them to fix it.Because it was a rush job it’s already chipped and looks terrible one day after getting a professional pedicure.Over all ... just a poor experience for the money I dropped for two pedicures.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Which is sad beca It’s the place I always told people to go.
I went in for a pedicure while visiting family. The receptionist/possible manager must be one of the rudest people I’ve ever met when going to a spa. It’s like she was angry she worked there and you arrived. I did have a great experience with the woman that actually did the pedicure. She was really sweet and did a decent job!
DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give this place 0 stars.. If could I WOULD. I came here two weeks ago with a couple of girlfriends, one of my friends had a messed up pedicure with a bunch of lumps in the paint, the other one had her toe cut and they put GLUE and bandages on it to fix it. They offered her a $10 gift car and they made her pay...only took $15 off the total bill. Now two weeks later Im experiencing infections in both of my big toes because they did not clean their tools properly and DID NOT REMOVE INGROWNS. WORST SERVICE EVERRRR.
Extremely nice people here. I got my girls nails did today. Great customer service I will definitely be coming back.
We reserved the private room for a bridal party. They didn’t put us in a private room. I asked for simple nail art and they said they couldn’t do it. Very rude. Overpriced for what you get. Do not recommend. Edit: While 4 of our techs were 1-2 stars, 1 tech went above and beyond. Thank you Oschi for taking care of our Bride.
I have tried this place 4 different times and had 4 different ladies. I was so unhappy with all 4. I will not go back. I wish I had a pic of my finger nails. They were not even, each one was shaped differently. Also the last lady I had complained the whole time she did my nails. She told me she was taking a nap before I got there and how tired she was and how she didn’t want to be there and it definitely showed in her work. Very disappointed. I give up on this place!! Just don’t go!
This place was recommended to me by a friend. It was pretty busy as to be expected on a Saturday. I was told my wait would be 15 minutes before I could be seated. They asked for my name and added me to a list. They offered me my choice of wine or champagne and I took a seat at the bar. I was fully expecting my wait to be longer..... oh well at least I have wine. A couple sips into my wine and the receptionist calls my name shows me to a pedicure chair and tells me my nail techs name will be Tyler. Tyler comes out and he asks my name as well and what services would I be getting. I let him talk me into the delux pedicure because I am loving the wine and customer service here. By the time I left Nail Lounge I was very relaxed and pleased with my experience. The staff smiled and laughed at lot it becomes infectious. Plus the wine helps.
Last week on this exact day, I got a gel manicure and pedicure which came to the total of $99. The gel is already chipping. Why?The tech was not the best. She literally was rushing everything which I dont know why. They will not get my funds anymore. Such a waste of time!
I’m down here visiting a close friend and we decided to get our nails done together. The staff was so nice, the place was very clean, and my nail technician Nina took extra good care of me — she even fixed a crooked nail I didn’t notice without having to be prompted like I’ve experience at other places. It was the absolute best experience I’ve had at a nail salon. They obviously care about customer satisfaction and when I come down again I will definitely come back and ask for Nina.
Got a gel manicure, the next day two nails chipped. I went back in to have them fixed. Next day another nail chipped. I get my nails done often at other salons and have never had them chip this often. The gel is supposed to last at least 2 weeks. Went back to have to the other nail fixed. They filed the fixed nail crooked and added a gel top coat to the other nails. But they never dusted my nails from filing. Will not be back..
I had the best pedi I have ever had in my life! Liz was excellent. Such great conversations and very personable. She sure has true talent!! Clean and professional, quick yet brushed, this was by far the most relaxing exhilarating experience and Liz was just the lady I had been looking for to make it that much better. Thank you for being you! See you in a couple weeks ♡
It was my birthday and my bff treated me to a pedicure. Even though we were a walk in, we only had to wait about 5 minutes. I was surprised as they were quite busy. The receptionist was very professional and attentive and both of the techs did a great job.
Very rude! Would not recommend! I was charged 35$ and was told after that they didn’t have the color I asked for before services started. I ended up honestly walking to the other nail salon in the mall before I even left because it was so bad
If you want to sit around for 30 minutes to get told they won’t remove your nails the way you asked them to. Then the workers laugh at you after you complain to the secretary about how the fact they would rather choose one client over the other because of the cost of the service. Disrespectful and unprofessional. If you wanted a bigger tip you shouldn’t have been a bitch🤷🏼♀️ don’t judge a book by it’s cover
Absolutely hated it. Its too expensive. I got a regular pedicure and it was $27!!! I can get a set of fake nails somewhere else for that price. Also, I went with my older sister and her friend, a bride to be, and instead of congratulating her for being engaged, they just asked us if we wanted to spend $10 on a cheap wine. The lady who did the bride to be pedicure was terrible, too! She didnt speak to her or smile and didnt rub her feet, which a normal thing to expect from a pedicure. The customer service and pricing is not worth it. Theres better and cheaper places to go.
Loved the Pedi I got at Nail lounge!!! Ming is so spunky & Kim is so sweet. Perfect job on my tosies!! Will definitely return, If Im ever in the area ❤️
I am writing this review since Manager/Owner request was ignored (on their website). I went to the nail lounge 2 weeks ago (Saturday) and arrived there 3 hours before close. I signed in for a shellac toe polish only (no pedicure) and acrylic fill-in for my hands. The technician messed up on my toe shellac style that had been done there before. She had to start over to correct it. While she worked on removing the shellac, she told me that they would not be able to do my hands because of having to re-do her mistake. They were mopping and sweeping 45 minutes before closing. Older and elderly ladies had to be walked through due to the floor being slippery. Big legal liability just because the techs wanted to go home right at closing. I cant hide my hands and *needed the hands completed but all they were willing to do was my shellac polish correction to their mistake. I expressed that and nothing was done for me. As i sat there watching the whole establishment not help each other as a team and only worry about leaving, I became more frustrated by the lack of service and inconvenience. They had plenty of techs who could have jumped in for the mistake to be fixed properly and for me to have both of the intended services completed. They did not care. I requested contact from Manager and/or Owner via their website and no one cared to contact me about my experience. I have pictures of the legal liability mentioned and a picture of my toes to show what happened. My shellac turned from light pink to pink/gray stripes 4 days after it was completed. It was done incorrectly or their shellac was bad quality polish, not sure. That Saturday I wasted my time for 3 hours there being that it wasnt a pedicure and only a shellac polish, this was excessively long (no wait at the door). I was forced to go to the only open nail salon at the mall to have my hands completed because of their unwillingness to do their job and go home right at closing. I will never step foot there again and will tell everyone to boycott. My toes look bad because areas are streaking gray so they could not even do that 1 job satisfactorily. Unbelievable and never again. Shame on you for running your business so careless and unprofessionally.
Great hostess.Great atmosphere. The nail tech clearly didnt want to be there.Maybe Ill have better luck next time.
First time I came was decent besides being rushed and charged $10 more without being told. Second time I came in the person who did my nails said they were the owner, so I expected it to be good, I was very wrong. Not only did she make 3 fingers bleed, which has never happened to me before, but she did a terrible job. My nails were thick and uneven and crooked, and she ground my nails down so thin that my nails are the thinnest and weakest they have been in my entire life. I have naturally strong and resilient nails but they are the shortest and thinnest and weakest I have ever experienced and I cant even scratch myself or pick something up without my nails completely bending and it is painful. Ive had my nails done dozens of times for WAY cheaper and had them turn out way better. Completely turned off from allowing anyone to touch my nails again.
Dont go here!!!!! Gel Nails lasted one day. I went back and was told that they were not capped on each layer and only clear coat was used to cap at the end. I went overseas 2 days later and they started to chip again. I then paid to have them repaired AGAIN. Less than 2 weeks I had to pay for a whole new set. When I returned to the salon today to let them know that their quality was poor they told me that they would redo them but charge me. I am not happy will their product or customer service as the gel nail lasted one day before starting to chip, I paid for a repair and another set. If it had been done right the first time I would not have had to pay 3 times for a set of nails. They have lost my business for good and I will tell everyone I know of my experience here.
I wanted a medi pedi which was 40 bucks. I informed the lady that I wanted a dip. Once I picked the color on the selection chart. I sat down. She performed the services and I ended up paying 121. 27 dollars for the gel paint on my toes. 27 dollars for the gel on my fingers. 27 for the clear dip. If they didn’t have the color of the dip why not say that when I informed her that’s what I wanted. Why would I pay extra for the color on my toes? The service was ok. But I didn’t get anything that should have cost me 121. No nail decorations or anything like that. On top of that she dipped my nails in the clear dip container. When I asked if she could poor some of the dip into another container, she poured all the dip into another container and then poured it all back.
Do not go here! Worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon. We went Monday, April 3rd.1) I told the Receptionist very clearly that I only wanted my toenails and fingernails painted on this visit. She repeated it to me and repeated it to my nail technician.2) The technician not only gave me a pedicure after I told him absolutely no (I thought maybe he was being nice or it was a part of the service)But the same thing happened with the manicure! After I told him personally I did not want one, he proceeded to give me one. He also gave me gel nail polish after I told him I did not want gel on this visit. He repeated, no gel. But I was given gel.3) Ive had all the minor nail salon injuries, they happen and Im used to it. However, my technician gouged under my ring finger on my right hand so badly I immediately got tears in my eyes and it bled a good bit. It bled from under the nail, all around the nail and the blood even went down the side of the fingertip. He did not apologize. He just kept going while my finger bled. Did not even clean it up. I thought I would receive a discount for that. Two full days later, it still is painful. Im watching it carefully for infection.4) I went with two girlfriends who also had bad experiences.First, Friend One asked if they did Vitamin Nails as thats all she gets. The Receptionist told her no. However they did offer that service and we found that out at the end of the visit. Why she was told no, we do not know.Second, Friend Two was wearing tight business suit pants and was slowly working them up her legs to get her pedicure. Her technician seeing her struggle offered to, I kid you not, cut them for her!! She very firmly rejected such a ludicrous (however, he was serious) offer. We should have just left.5) Finally, they charged me nearly $90.00!!!!!!I was very nice and cheerful to my technician and had a good time with my coworkers, but it all happened so quickly that I should have insisted on a lower rate. It was crazy to pay that much. The receipts are also not itemized. So I have no idea what I paid for! Also, the floors were being mopped while we were there, causing us to gingerly walk across the wet floors. From other reviews, this seems to be the norm.I am a millennial so I do not give complaints or bad reviews, however this was REALLY, REALLY bad.Do not go here!
Was in Pensacola from Houston for a wedding and desperately needed my nails done. I got the shellac on my real nails. They were done so beautifully. I always get shellac and my experience is that it usually lasts 2 to 3 weeks. This time, it barely lasted 2 to 3 days. I was working on my computer and on one of my nails, the gel popped off of my finger nail like it was a press on nail. I laughed it off at first, but then a couple of hours later, another one popped off. Then the next day, which was day 3 after getting them done, a third one popped off. This was so weird. Apparently, the tech mustve mixed up the process of doing the shellac, and my money has gone down the drain.
I apologize. How can we fix this? None of these words were used. While I was talking to my daughter in the seat next to me, and not paying attention to the tech giving me a pedicure my feet began to hurt. I asked her what she was using on my foot. It was some kind of scraper. She scraped the skin off my toe. The owner tried to explain away what happened that it is within state guidelines to use this equipment. Really? You broke my skin and did not offer to take anything off of my visit or apologized. The manager that just left epild never have acted like that. Customer satisfaction and appreciation should be first. What happened to common courtesy.
The customer service was awful... I called to make appointment for me my mom and sister and was told it was set for 3PM. When we got there the young lady said she didnt make appointment because I didnt have to and we had to wait for 15 mins. I asked why was I told it was set and to come at 3. A man I guess was the manager came and was very rude and unprofessional to us. So I snapped giving him the same energy he was giving me. So we just left and went somewhere else. Im from Ga and was visiting family and was referred to this place by a family member. I informed my family member of the situation and she said she knows the owner and would let them know what took place. She said that she never had that experience at this place. So to the young man that was very rude you are the reason for this bad review.
I went there to just get shellac polish, and kept getting pressured to get a full on manicure. I kept telling her I just need the color. First of all, she seemed to be a rush to get it done. Secondly, she barely spoke the whole time. At the end, I noticed she had missed the sides of some of my nails. I informed her, and she fixed it. But blamed it on me, saying that if I had gotten a full manicure it wouldnt have happened. I definitely will not be back.
The Nail Lounge looks lavish, but I definitely did not feel pampered. I had made a reservation for me and 6 of my friends and upon arrival, they said they didn’t “hear me say 7.” With explanation and assurance from the manager, they were finally able to accommodate us.Then I asked for the Sonoma pedi and a manicure. The technician and my friends convinced me to get the house pedi. But as she started doing the pedicure, she said “I can only do the basic pedi because I have another appointment.” It’s one thing to get what you asked for, but when she gets you to upgrade your pedi and then downgrades you from what you wanted originally is just plain rude. After she finished my mani pedi, I was left sitting by the dryers by myself, and I didn’t see the nail technician with her “appointment” that she said she had.I’m just disappointed.
Absolutely loved it. Its extremely nice and clean, I was in town for the day and dropped in for a pedi and fills for my acrylics. My acrylics look better than they ever have and I messed the polish up twice while drying and they were happy to fix. Pedi came with glass of wine, and a huge assortment of scents for salts and oils. Wish it was in my own town!
If I could give them zero stars I would. I visited this place within a 10 day window. Because the first time the lady put my dip powder/SNS on too thick and didnt come correctly. I waited until she finished to give her the benefit of the doubt to do a great job...NEGATIVE. She offered to fix, soak off and this was all after getting a pedicure too and sitting in the shop for almost 2 hrs. The only good thing about that visit was they didnt charge me for my nails. Which brings me to my visit today (3/21/19) at getting a pedicure, the lady decides she want to use whatever product she want on my SNS/dipped nails. Just because they buy in bulk dont mean not lable the products so that ALL the workers will know what they are using.Example: SNS is a 4 step process. Step 2 and 4 should be the same bottle (base).Manager said well she(worker) said she used step 4. My nails look nice this time, if the lady wouldve used the correct thing...I wouldve let her finish and wouldnt be upset, complaining and wouldve let YALL stamp my rewards cardSo now I have to go home, pull out my step 4 and finish my own nails AFTER PAYING OVER 100.00 because of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.GOOD JOB.BY THE WAY I DIDNT HAVE THIS ISSUE WITH THE YOUNG LADY WITH THE TATTOOS. SHES ABOUT HER BUSINESS.
This place is disappointing!! Took my girl for children, one birthday present, and a friend. Reserved the private room to give her full treatment for her 12th birthday! The others were getting their service and my girl finally came in the room, Carmen. Her shirt was wrinkled like she just rolled out of bed and had sweatpants on. She finished my pedicure and we went downstairs to do the manicure and she told the girl working next to her that she was sick. When the other girl asked her if she threw up, Carmen said she was holding it back! GROSS!!!!!! Let someone that has children in a confined room know you are not well!!! Have some respect. When I let them know, I got 5$ off. HAHA joke, she didnt finish my manicure! I have no problem paying for my services I receive! My child, her little diamonds fell off before we even left and they re-applied them only to stay on long enough to make it to the car!!! Now, 3 days later, my child is now throwing up!! Thank you very much!! And another thing, this place is dirty!!! GROSS!! Nasty bathroom, nasty sinks, just gross!!! Go somewhere else that respects you and wants you to return!
It been good a few times in a row but the last two times my wife and I have gone, weve been paired with very rude and rough handling workers. So Id say its hit or miss overall. But the first few experiences were very pleasant.
I popped in one afternoon with no appointment hoping to get a set of acrylic nails. The staff was friendly, told me of my expected wait time and didnt push additional services. It was a hassle free, wonderful experience! Even though I have to pass 10 nail salons to get to this one, I will be back!
PSA FOR MILITARY THAT LIKE THEIR NAILS DONE BUT GOTTA KEEP EM SHORT: Ohhsheii does an amazing job at making your nails look natural and classy. She said short nails were one of her specialties and I can see why.First time in and really enjoyed it! The ambiance is great and so is the customer service.
I happened across this place to do a last min nail fix. So glad I did, the service is great, the location is clean and the employees are nice. Bonus they have wine, so if it’s your time away to relax and unwind it’s an added bonus.
I have been several times recently to have manicures, pedicures and to just have one nail saved. They always show me a list of prices for various services. I always know exactly what I am getting and the price. No surprises here. I find the prices reasonable and the services extremely good in a very relaxing atmosphere. I will continue to go back to this shop.
I got a manicure (acrylic nails) and even though they look good, my fingers have been in terrible pain! This is the second time it has happened. There is no swelling or infections, the technician was simply rough and sloppy with her technique. This only happens to me when the technician is harsh and too speedy in the process, and it has happened both times at the Nail Lounge. My fingers are so sore that I can barely dress/undress, write with a pen, open containers, press buttons, etc.
Expensive but friendly staff. Didnt have the color I wanted they worked together to create it . Not bad . The technician (older lady (wears glasses . Sits closest to under the steps in the back right made suggestions and worked my nails to perfection . It was my first visit with them and the ladies left a good impression .
I get my nails done here on a regular. At first, the services were spectacular. Now, the past three times or so that I have been in, the associates that work on my nails are not listening or performing the procedures I want correctly. I constantly have to repeat what I want done and still end up with a finished effect I did not ask for. For instance this last time I was there on 4/25/2013 and got my nails done I ask for a French manicure and got a pink gel overlay with no white tip. On a previous experience the polish used had bubbles in it and I had to come back twice to get it corrected because it bubbled up about an hour after them fixing it. These mistakes and non listening to what the customer wants creates a very unpleasant experience also are time consuming and cost ineffective to the customer that has to continuously drive back and forth to the shop. I feel that if more effort is put into listening to the customer and not rushing to complete a job, would create more pleasurable experiences and promote more customer growth.
We surprised our moms with pedicures and/or manicures.Mrs. Nicole welcome me and made sure our moms were taking care of.Awesome service!
Went to see what all the hype was about because Ive heard the name multiple times... They took our names & a few minutes later a girl came up & said to let everyone know that itd be a 30 min wait... After 15 min of already sitting at the bar... Awkwardly being stared at because the place is as big as my kitchen pantry... An hour or so later after we realized that paying 65$ for a spa pedi in a room with rude people & chairs that were on top of each other (literally) that we werent going to stay or spend money to relax in a cramped & unfriendly environment. Spent over an hour there with no services & still wouldnt recommend.
Ive revised my original review several times over the past two years to reflect the dwindling quality and service. However, for the past year, it has become hit and miss on all services, but this past visit will be my last.Pedicures are average at best, but generally are closer to mediocre depending on the tech. I no longer utilize the shop for pedicures and do not recommend if this facility if a great pedicure is what youre wanting. For the most part, the nail techs do a good job if you only want gel polish. However, the last three times the technician has been in such a hurry that both my daughter and her friend have been cut. Theres only one tech (Nancy) that does a good job on acrylic nails. Ive tried several. Shes by far the best, but lately she seems under pressure to rush and quality has definitely declined. Some of the older female techs speak limited English, so if youre looking for something special, bring a photo or ask for one of the younger female techs. Most recently, my daughter and I visited the shop and discovered a tremendous price increase. We were charged $25 more than any previous visit, for the exact same service. I assume it was a price increase, but no real explanation was offered when we questioned the new price except to say there was an additional fee to file my nails (I had a new set of pink and white put on) and the coffin shape my daughter had been getting for months is an additional $25 for the special shape. Weve never been charged an additional fee for either. Frankly, I consider filing nails to be a normal part of the service to put on a new set of acrylic nails.
My husband and I went in for Pedicures. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. It was very clean and everyone was extremely friendly. It was a very relaxing experience while we sipped on Champagne!! I highly recommend this Nail Bar to everyone!❤️❤️❤️
Nice place and people. I got the Nappa Pedi for my birthday. Katelyn was very nice and professional. Im not much for talking and didnt feel forced to socialize. The place was kept very clean. I delighted to see that the footbaths were not filled prior to my arrival, allowing me to ensure the bowl I was about to stick my feet was clean and warm.My only suggestion would be for a wider variety of colors to choose from. Next time I would probably bring my own color as I dont care for reds.
First off it cost 27$ for a full set then another $13 for longer nails then when I said I had a design they said $10 more! A nail broke the next day and I went in, my new nail looks nothing like the others And they charged $5 for a fix that was their fault! Go to Nail Talk, they are amazing. Never going to Nail.Lounge again!!
This was the Gulf Breeze location! I was attempting to get a fill and a pedicure here. Pedicure went okay! However when the tech began working on my nails she did not lay a towel on the nail bar. The table already had left over fill powder from the previous customer (where my arm rested because there wasnt a towel up there). After she worked a while, I asked if she would put a towel on the table (thinking perhaps she forgot). Wasnt the case. She placed the towel up there as she proceeded to shake her head in disbelief. She continued working, however, when she started to fill my nails she removed the towel, stating, I have to move this towel. At this point I decided that I had enough and was not willing to pay for such poor service. As I was leaving she stated that the reason she didnt have a towel up there is because she was about to work with a liquid product! She further explained that she did not want to spill the product on the towel and ruin it. I have never in 20 years of getting nail service have experienced such poor customer service. In fact she may be the only nail tech in the history of mankind, practicing towel protection. I guess the fact that every other tech working around her had a towel on their table was not a big enough hint! Smh!!
Love this place!!! Ive never incountered such a nail tech as Danny, hes amazing. Its refreshing to go and have such a great experience everytime I visit the Nail Lounge. I 100% recommend Danny when you go. He does quality work and faster than you ever expected, but still enjoyable. Best spot in Pensacola to relax and get pampered. Staff is wonderful, this establishment is ran very well.
Went to get my eyebrows waxed. One woman started my wax. She got through half of one brow and between my brows before she realized she did not know what she was doing. She asked me to wait there and she left in the middle of my wax. Another woman came back minutes later to finish the job. A full day later my face is still red and in pain from the wax job of the first woman. Worst waxing experience of my life. I will never be going back to nail lounge.
Cody always takes such good care with moms nails and pedicures. He and the whole staff are an amazing group of wonderful people ❤ thank you all for a fun environment.
There is only one thing good about this place: the girl who does my nails. The rest of the staff is rude, I had to wait 30 min WITH AN APPOINTMENT, they dont have many nail polish colors. Take it from me - there are better nail salons around- I tried this one bc it was closer to my house
My daughter and I went here on Saturday and we loved it! Walked in 5 minutes after open and they already had lots of clients but enough staff to get us right in with no wait which was great! Kim did my house pedi & Lela did my 8 year Olds sparkling pedi & mani & both did an excellent job! We were not rushed at all in fact they encouraged us to sit and relax in our chairs while our toes dried afterwards and we were thanked and made feel like we were the only client from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out! Kim was as sweet as she could be and has gained a forever client in me! We will be back here again and again!
Was surprised with the negative response. Ask for P. He is great a perfectionist. I can go 3 weeks without getting mine down and je can still save them. They dont lift. They are very clean and you get a glass of wine. Its all about who you see and there experience as anywhere you go. Ive lived everywhere this is the best nail place Ive ever been to
My mother and i had Mrs. Shay. She did an amazing job. This was the best pedicure we have ever had, she took her time and she was very gentle. Thank you so much.
I called ahead for a basic manicure, they said come in that they could take me immediately. I walked in to a packed lobby with a 30 minute minimum wait. Really??? Why do you think I called ahead? I walked out and went down the road and walked in to a great, and even better priced, manicure.
Love Miss Kim and Miss Donna, and Julie takes great care of the front desk and guests
Jenny, the owner was horrible. She called me vile names then hung up the phone on me. I called back and spoke with another employee, who told me that Jenny is just that way, because its her store. My experience here was the 2nd worst customer service Ive ever experienced in 59 years.
1st time there andhad a very rude experience. Gave it another shot thinking they just had a bad day. 2nd time there came in at 5:45 knowing that they close at 7. The receptionist said what do you want# and threw 3 bags of polish at me. At 6:20 she started yelling why arent yall cleaning? Im ready to go home! Lets get this placed cleaned so I can leave ( with 3 adult clients and 2 kids still being seen) started mopping, by the time she fot to me she mopped all around me and asked me to stand up while she mopped my spot (while I was still being seen). I delt with 4 different employees and everyone was rude and unwelcome.
Technician did a nice job. The gel polish is $37 extra...a bit excessive considering most places only charge $20. Other than the expense, good pedi.
Loved it, and I’m sorry that I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that waited on me, but he loves to garden and is a Granddaddy. What a nice person, and excellent pedicure and manicure!! The glass of cab was very welcome. 😉
My friends nail polish was old next day kleenex stuck to her nails, they were sticky.Talked in their language the whole time making us feel very uncomfortable. My tech said I did not need polish and didnt polish my nails...not what I wanted.Would not go back.
Oh my goodness this place is excellent. Katy gave a great pedicure. I can not wait to be back around this area to go back in. Love that they give you wine and everyone there was super nice and very professional.
There was something very off with the white lady receptionist. She made it very awkward so we didnt actually receive service because the environment was unwelcoming. And when we told her that we decided to leave after 30 minutes, she got an attitude.
The bald man at front was rude. The menu said one price and I was charged 10.00 more n told it was an old menu. But yet Noone would confirm that to be true or false. Definitely not going back
The lady was rude and ruff with my hands. She nicked me on the side of my thumb and I started bleeding with the nail file she did t offer me a bandage instead she put nail glue over my cut & the nails were overpriced... don’t recommend t
Love Nail Lounge. Nancy is so creative and does an excellent job. ♥️
It was perfect they did my nails just like i wanted if not better they had drinks and was relaxing the people were very nice and started conversation.and after all this it took just the right amount of time would defintley come back.
I scheduled 3 full sets for 9 am. When I called and made the apointments I told them we were needing to be out by 11 due to work and we wanted to all get our sets at the same time. They asured me that it was no problem. When I got there there was only one person who could do full sets. Why would they schedual 3 apointments at one time when there is only one person that can do the full sets? I dont apriciate my time being waisted. I will not be back.
The Nail Lounge is a wonderful place to get pampered and have your nails done. I highly recommend the place.
Nail lounge is amazing!!! It was my first time here. The staff is friendly and clean!! Ms Kim did an AWESOME job on my Napa pedi!!! I will be back
Over priced. Rushed on my pedicure. As soon as I left the paint started to come off. The lady who did my nails was very rude. Not worth it. Will not be returning.
They did a good job but they were super expensive I didnt evenn get fake nails i only got my natural nails painted and my toes no fancy designs either it was 120$ 🤔🤯
This is a great place to go, but be prepared, that means they are busy!! Thats okay though because the front desk staff are very welcoming and friendly. I recommend an appointment if you can, but walk-ins are welcome. No appointments allowed on Sundays as its walk-in only.
Went here for my first ever manicure and they made me bleed on multiple occasions and they didn’t seem to care, it was insane. Made me dislike manicures lol, it was rough
Poor quality products, they tried to fix it and make it right but the new product they put on for dip powder started to crack after a week. Also the shapes didn’t match the other nails, poor quality jobs both times. I don’t recommend going!
Everyone was very, very nice and friendly. Love nail lounge. I want go no were else
DIRTY! Gave an obviously filthy rag to clean hands, you could see through the polish at many spots near the cuticle. Staff treated us very poorly, like they just didnt care. Would never come back.
Courteous, professional staff, relaxing atmosphere, and the best massage chairs in town!
They did my manicure with gel polished. I had go back again to repair the next day and they cut to much of my cuticle. I will never return...
KC McCall is the best at facials ! Awesome communicator! Goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and covers all the small details! I highly recommend her! Thank you KC!
Carmen did a wonderful job on my nails, she pays attention to detail. Kay did my pedicure she was attentive and personable.
The woman who did my pedi was very nice and professional but the ladies at the desk was so rude as tho they didn’t want me there it was my first experience with them and I must say my last.... nothing like the things I heard.
Some people may think this place is overpriced but every time I have went to the nail lounge I have been treated awesome and love their work and hospitality they actually spend an hour on your pedicures rather than 20 mins I will pay any amount and drive an hour to keep going back.
Love getting my nails done here.
If you have questions maybe go in, you run the rick of Savanna answering the phone and she couldn’t have sounder anymore annoyed by my 2 questions. So I won’t even go there to see how anything else is there just by how you are treated on the phone.
I love this place , the owner did me a Chanel set of nails they were so pretty she’s definitely the best The receptionist Nicole is really good
I have had my nails done there 3 timesI love it my nails They last almost 3 weeks before I get them retouch againThank you Nail lounge
The manicure was rushed. I got a 3 minute hand massage. Was told not enough time for more. The manicure literally took 20 minutes. Will not go back.
I have been very happy with my tech! She knows what I need and is very professional!
Good nail salon. Jenny, the owner, is so sweet. Excellent customer service, they make you feel so pampered.
How did I just walk out of here paying $50 for a plain shellac manicure?? I’ve never even paid close to that even in Hawaii and San Diego. This place needs to reevaluate their prices! There’s no way the service I got was worth anything close to $50!
Really bad service from a male tech there last month. Completely ruined my nails. They are still regrowing.
Absolutely the best experience that Ive ever had at a nail salon. A little on the pricey side but its completely worth it!!!❤❤
Amazing place. Friendly staff. Quiet room upstairs where you can enjoy your pedicure and visit with your friends.
Great relaxing environment. Excellent service. Good selection of colors. Nice beverages. Wine if you drink & ice water if you abstain.
I love this place you can literally sit down with almost anyone and get good nails. But ask for Ann she is amazing!!
Decent color selection, with dip options, typically quick but appointment encouraged. Quality of service not always the same but generally pretty good
Great nail salon I am very happy with my mani, pedicures. Love Ms Donna she the best.
Love this nail salon 💅🏽! The salon has a very soothing atmosphere and they provide quality service. Well worth the money ❤️
Always clean, staff are friendly and every design Ive took to them they have done it. Never did anything I didnt like.
I had an 11am appointment but found others getting services before Im. I was very upset to say the least. I ended up leaving
Loved my girl she was American and uderstood everything I needed didnt try to talk me into anything expensive and very sweet!
Have been 10 or so times in the last few years, normally good experience. Man at the desk/on the phone was incredibly rude and condescending.
Attendant was not friendly. Receptionist at front desk was extremely professional.
Very clean. Employees were really nice. Got in quick, and nails in a timely manner ❤
Kimmy did a fantastic job with my Napa pedi! This is a great nail salon!
Nice relaxing atmosphere complete with wine. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
I had nails coming off 3 days afters... would not recommend going there
Always love this place. Clean and comfortable. Great service with wine and other drinks.
Everyone is always welcoming and get people in as fast as possible. Wonderful service highly recommend
My favorite nail place! The staff is so mind and accommodating.
First time going there and the lady who did my nails was awful and my never again will I go waste my money
The receptionNot is very rude and the workers have attitudes and very disrespectful. First and last visit.
Been going here since it opened! Great place to relax. Super friendly staff.
Freaking loved It!! Warm comfortable environment and they serve WINE!!
Great service and my toes still look good! Will be coming back!
Very clean...basic pedicure...Good job!
Waaaaaay too overpriced. Nothing is special about this place, I suggest you go somewhere else to get the same work for a reasonable price.
Only place that gives a good manicure for guys without charging a fortune
Never had a bad experience. Always clean, friendly, pleasant.
Pretty salon very spacious- free wine with service
I acquired toe fungus. The gal sliced over my toe with the metal file. Bled.
Very friendly staff, listens to what you want. Very good at suggesting right colors.
Always busy. Not a fan of the atmosphere but good in a pinch.
Great service! Nice salon, lots of choices.
The technicians here do a good job and they are friendly.
Pedi no good, just flushed the money down the drain.
Best place to go! Never had a problem. ..Heather and Fu are the best!
Nice people complimentary drinks , relaxing place for my daughter and I
I just recently got a pedicure here and got serious chemical burns on all of my toes.
Never have a bad experience here. Great service.
Have nice services offered and friendly staff..but way to busy . Felt a little rushed
Good customer service. Even gives arm & hand massage
First time and they did a great job!
The nail lounge isnt just a salon, its a status.
