Massage Envy

I highly recommend Massage Envy at Lake Pleasant Parkway. I was greeted by the very friendly staff at the front desk and shown the quiet room. My therapist Brandy was super knowledgeable about my injury and was able to help me feel so much better after my massage. I had a deep tissue that was the best I have ever had. Brandy was a great listener about my injury and had some great solutions that I felt like she collaborated with me on. She was compassionate, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I will absolutely be requesting Brandy for my next appointment and will be using this location again as the staff was all wonderful to interact with.

There are many reasons I go to Massage Evy at this location.First and foremost… Brandy!! She knows how to take care of me and even suggest oils or the massage gun when I have areas that need it. I trust Brandy and that’s important.Second.. KC at the front desk , what a wonderful person to have greet you when you walk in. She has a wonderful personality.Third : The entire staff really cares for your well being in every situation.Love this place 😍

So, I usually go to another location and my regular massage person that’s right next to me but they were so booked out, I picked the next one it said was closest to me. Unfortunately, the app told me it was only 5.3 miles away and it was glitching or something because it ended up actually being 17-18 or so miles away on my map. They have a policy of no cancellations (without a fee) on the same day, which is completely fair. I wasn’t able to get a ride that far away and I was going to discuss what the fee would be and they were absolutely so kind to me. Because I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and have never canceled (I have a business and understand frustrations of same day cancellations), they worked it out with me. I just found it extremely nice and helpful, when they could’ve easily charged me for the policy.I can’t thank them enough for helping me out, it hurts losing money at this time and I will absolutely remember the kindness this location showed me after the mix up on the app. I think her name was Jennifer? So sorry, I wish I checked the name before ending the call but definitely wonderful customer service. Thank you guys so much!

I paid for one year membership for my husband at ME. Year later my husband made appointment for me to get a massage for one of his credits. Yay! I was quickly advised by the front desk that I can come only once every 6 months to use his credit. Well, not exciting but lets take it. At last I got into the room for my massage. Brandy asked me if I have a preference. I answered her, all good. Once she came in to give me my massage I heard a noise on top of the soothing music. I could not identify it at first. Then I realized she has ear buds playing music so loud I could hear it, too. It was annoying but I thought maybe thats normal/ok and tried to ignore it. But after my massage I thought more clearly and realized I was irritated by the experience. I basically concentrated to ignore it instead of relaxing. I have never seen this in another place. I am disappointed.

Deep Tissue massage had just the right amount of pressure. Was spectacular.

If you ever get a massage and do not like it, some of the fault is yours for not voicing your preferences. However, not all therapists are created equal, so let someone know at the time of your visit not here on social media. This is their livelihood. Let them know how to be better! Help dont hurt! This is the worst location to go to. My husband and I have been members for years. Every time a staff member from Lake Pleasant calls to confirm an appointment, it is a different story. For example, I booked a massage for my son 4 months. When I was making the appointment this week, the staff member did not inform me about the new policy. This is a time frame of 5 days. I had a staff member call me today, and she states, Your son can only have an appointment once every 6 months! Now, fyi, at other Massage envy locations, the staff allows my son to go weekly, will call my home location for a $10 transfer fee, and I have never had to call. Last thing, I spoke to my home office regarding the transfer fee and as a member and a courtesy I shouldnt be calling. I have 18+ banked Massages and my husband has 20+. I will never go back. If you have had a great experience, you are very lucky. I just keep on and on been told different policies. I have had the manager call me too. She still didnt resolve it. I just dont understand how this location cant handle a family of 4 and have friends sign up without giving them a hard time as well. I will never go back, I dont want to go back, I do not recommend this location. If you are the manager who wants to respond to this review, please dont. I dont want to hear about another policy that is going to be different from what your other 2 employees said differently. Lets just say have a day nice and be safe. Please just dont drag it on.

Amy did an awesome job! Both my husband and I received massages from her on two separate days and she listened to our areas of concern and did just as we requested on the level of intensity we requested. Will definitely come back for more 😊

My massage therapist, Janelle, is amazing. She asks what my focus is for the massage and ensures I am comfortable with the pressure, when she begins the session. She is very professional, personable and knows her job well. These are wonderful qualities to have when visiting a massage therapist. I always feel relaxed upon leaving.If you are considering Massage Envy, Lake Pleasant, ask to be scheduled with Janelle. I book my appointments out a few months so that I know I am set! You will never be disappointed with Janelle!

I’m pregnant and was gifted a massage to this location by a friend; but the masseuse I had was honestly horrible. I think her name was savannah or something with an S. She talked the entire time and tried to sell me her baby stuff. I just wanted to relax and enjoy a massage but the massage she was giving I could’ve had my 7 year old child do a better job honestly. I think it was because she was so into her conversation trying to make an extra buck she was beyond distracted. I didn’t enjoy an hour massage because it was cut off way before then. I was bummed out! If I ever come to this location I never want a massage by her. With this experience I don’t think my husband would agree I even come here again.

Kim did a great job. I had fallen on a walk a couple of weeks before my appointment and had a scrape on my elbow and one on my knee. She worked them gently and after the massage, my knee was not as stiff as it had been. And I felt great all over. Excellent work. Lake Pleasant location p

I have had 4 facials with Kathleen. She demonstrates great technique, is easy to talk to, and overall I am pleased with the results. I feel pampered and relaxed. What a treat!I know that Massage Envy protocol is not to provide recommendations, therapists as well, but I would prefer more suggestions etc. I dont get any unless I ask. Just a suggestion for the decision makers...

This hands down was one of the best massages I have had in my life. I felt instant relief after my session with Janelle. She worked out my knots in my back and shoulder in a way that wasn’t painful at all. It was so good I booked 5 more sessions with her. Today I feel great. Thank you

The Message Envy location at Lake Pleasant is so clean and has a wonderful, polite staff. Brittany is an amazing therapist! She listened to my issues and made sure to focus on those areas. She is so professional and I feel so relaxed after my sessions. She is the best and that is why I wont be able to get a massage from anyone else!The only thing I wasn’t happy about during my session was that Message Envy LP still has a mask mandate. I have not worn a mask into any store for several months now. I don’t think this should still be a requirement while getting a massage.

I always go to Kathleen for my 90 min facial and it is by far one of the best experiences of my month. She is extremely soothing and calming while still targeting my problem skin issues and for some reason I always go to sleep during the session (sorry!!!). Her shoulder and neck messages are always relaxing and I just look forward to making sure that my next appointment with her is book. So glad that I found her and my skin is looking fabulous!!!

Jenn and Amy at the Lake Pleasant Pkwy & Happy Valley location have helped me so much with easing the chronic pain I get in my neck, shoulders & lower back. Both of them are able to use moderate to deep pressure to alleviate, what I call, my “petrified” knots.I would recommend becoming a member of Massage Envy, especially if you live on a budget or have a chronic issue like me. And if you suffer from pain and can get a note each year from your doctor, you can deduct some of the cost from your taxes. So for me, massage has truly been worth doing for my physical and mental health.

Massage Envy uses three types of pressure to meet your needs and provides great service. The first type of massage is the light massage. It feel like you are just putting your hands through your hair. The second type of massage is medium pressure. A medium-pressure massage feels like a seatbelt, its snug but not too tight. Lastly, there’s the hard massage. As for hard massages they are very intense and relieves a lot of deep tissue pressure. Massage Envy offers all types of massages for anyone. From you wanting to relax and take it easy to an intense hard massage. The service provided at Massage Envy at Lake Pleasant was great. The front staff female associate was very friendly, respectful and nice. Even though I didn’t get her name as I would of put her name in this review. My therapist (Amy) was outstanding and had great consistency with the correct type of massage pressure. This is a great location! Clean, Staff is nice, and it’s a very quiet and tranquil. Always love massages with Amy! She is a rockstar! She’s so good at pinpointing the areas that are hurting and really working them out. I like a very deep massage and she is THE BEST masseuse to date I have ever had for that type of pressure. She can also do other pressures just as wonderfully. Thank you, Amy!!

The facial I got at Massage Envy was amazing! Kathleen was knowledgeable and answered my skin care questions without hesitation. The arm, hand and neck message that comes with the facial was great too!

Another very nice anti-aging facial at this location by Kathleen. It was a Mother’s Day gift at this northern Phoenix location near my daughters house for logistic purposes. I usually go to a central location. But something they do here is exceptional, Kathleen is first person to put me to sleep. I was late, but learned later they had my wrong info for reminder to come in early. I thought they already had everything on file for me and had a central database for all locations, but they don’t. Lesson learned. … Days later and my complexion is still lovely. Thank you!

My wife booked us massages a month in advance at this location. You have to do that when you have a 6 month old and babysitters are limited. With all the stresses of school and work weve been looking forward to this for a lot longer than a month. On the morning of our appointment I get an email stating that Lisa isnt available and to call. I called and spoke to Courtney who was not able to get me my same appointment time with my wife. I explained to her our situation and all she do was say she was sorry. She did not problem solve at all. I even asked if she could call other places nearby to see if they had anyone available to come to this location to help out. No luck as again, Courtney was sorry. I do not recommend this location for good service results.

I have Two favorites!Janelle for my massages. I have been having issues with a very tight, sore neck. Since I have been seeing Janelle the pain has been a lot better and I wake up in the mornings pain free!! She is GREAT!KathaleenOne of the best Esthetician I have ever had!!! Very informative. Definitely is up on her knowledge of her profession. I had a microdermabrasion done and I am very pleased with results. I enjoy going to Massage Envy Lake Pleasant location. The have a great staff from the front to the masseuses. They always do a great job. This company is well run. I have numerous favorite masseuses here. I recommend them to my friends and family.

The work she did was excellent, focused in my two pain points of my back & feet. We had a very pleasant conversation. My only complaint is I was told to be there at a quarter to which I did. I didnt go back to the room until 807 & we didnt get started until 810 but we finished at 859. So my hour massage was 49 minutes & that is not right.

Nadya is one of the most amazing therapists ever! She listens to everything that I need and does a amazing massage!Rudy gives an amazing massage! He listens to all my needs and works very hard to give the best massage ever!!!

My therapist, Rudy is great and does wonderful hand and feet work.However, this time when I came into the building some aromatic diffuser was going and the smell was horrible. I understand that there is the option to include such with your massage. Perhaps, it can be contained to ones personal massage experience.

Kathleen was amazing very professional and I absolutely loved the feeling of my face after. The rating does not apply to her at all. The rating is for the employees at the front desk.I had an appointment at 1115 and I checked in a couple minutes before my time to check in like instructed in the text message. I typically get a message a couple minutes after that they are ready for me, this time 15 minutes later I called and the person that answered the phone asked, o your outside come on in. Then I got the text message they are ready for me. I’ve been coming to this location for about 5 months now and I’ve only gotten facials. After my facial I am ready to check out and the employee asks me to put my face mask on, I have never in 5 months been asked. I just got a microderm my face is red and extremely sensitive and a face mask will irritate my skin. I told the employee I just got a facial and my face is sensitive and it hurts. I lightly put it on and she kept staring at me and said it needs to cover your nose. Such an inconvenience and a terrible way to end the visit.

Arielle is amazing. She tells you what will work best for you. She answers all your questions. She makes you feel more like a friend she is helping than a client. I would highly recommend her.

I have had several facials with Arielle at Lake Pleasant and she is very knowledgeable, professional and has answered every question I ask and I ask alot of questions lol. She always takes time to recommend the correct application, tell me what shes doing and what it is supposed to do as well as ask if Im comfortable and make conversation. She makes valid and helpful recommendations and is always friendly and caring.

I came in with severe lower back pain, which it turns out was due to glute tightness. Rylan was able to identify that right away, and together we worked out a plan for what he would be able to is the back pain. I made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and did a fantastic job! This particular location employs really great people, and Rylan is definitely one of my favorites!

I live in Sun City west and have closer location s bit lake pleasant is the only one I can get in when Im able. I was going to cancel my membership because I could never get in to 2 other of the location s, they would make me wait up to 3-4 day to get an appointment, Even though your a little garter you have the best staff. I struggled with writing a good review. The thing about a good massage is the therapist. And it seems like all the good therapists keep leaving. Ill find someone I like, and within a couple of months, theyve moved on. When I tried to book an appointment, and was told that my favorite therapist at the time no longer works here, I was disappointed and asked why. The receptionist gave a pause, says I dont know, and hung up on me.

Are you kidding me? This is my second time at this location, and both times the massage therapist working with me did NOT listen to my requests/needs prior to the massage.Both times I clearly and thoroughly stated that I did not want my feet touched at all (AND its on my form that they are supposed to review). The second time, I asked for my upper neck/past my shoulders not to be touched... and of course, both times my feet ended up being worked on (goodbye relaxation, hello uncomfortable experience) and the second time, all the way up to my hairline was worked on. Boundaries crossed.Also, both times I was called in by massage therapist about 5 minutes after my scheduled time. Subtract another 5 to consult and get undressed, and then another 5 to get dressed again, and thats 15 minutes off the HOUR that I paid for.A final negative note is that the therapists get laaazy with tucking the blankets. It feels breezy in all the wrong places, my buttcrack gets brushed, etc. Not okay.The location is clean and the front desk girls are nice, but your therapists need to LISTEN and APPLY the customers needs. I will not be returning to Massage Envy, and neither will my friends and family.

This place goes through employees quickly, which is a red flag. I have been okay with them and would likely give them three stars on a good day. Unfortunately, they recently discriminated against me as a healthcare worker and did not allow me to make an appointment even with a negative COVID-19 test. I received a bunch of excuses and the manager exhibited a complete misunderstanding of viral transmission/protection even verbalizing a veiled threat that liability would be transferred to me if someone sued them for getting CV-19 and she was really sorry but that is how it will be. Shame on you.Just so you know, healthcare workers are held to a much higher standard of ethics to protect ourselves and others against any disease or virus and a threat like that was uncalled for. We wear PPE and also full isolation suits around people who are contagious. I had no problem making an appointment elsewhere and the service provided was superior and peaceful. Thank you, Massage Envy for pushing me to find someone better!!!UPDATE: 6/17/20 I spoke with the manager and they have cancelled the contract and refunded money outstanding on the account. At least they ended up doing the right thing in the end when they were unable or unwilling to execute services.

Ive been trying to cancel my membership for 2 years with Massage Envy Lake Pleasant. They continue to bill my card on and off without my authorization or knowledge. I had to eventually cancel my credit card to stop them. Every time I speak to them they say sorry we incorrectly processed your cancellation.. again.. and again.. and again.. They still owe me over $500 in charges.THIS IS A SCAM! I have to now file a police report to deal with them.

Came here the other day & had a pretty good massage. I bought the package of 3 for $150 since thats the best value. These places are nice & clean with good service & this location seems to be able to get you in on short notice which is a plus for me.

The worst place I bought the 90 minutes massage she put timers 80 minutes when she Starts and she told me we done and I saw the timer have 9 minutes left ... They steal from the time ,I DON’t like that .
