I got a facial from Michaela and she was amazing! It was my first one ever and she made it such a great experience. She was gentle and sweet, overall it was lovely. And the ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful too!

Travis was amazing! He knew exactly what my body needed. 10/10 recommend Travis as your therapist! He made me feel so comfortable and I felt amazing after my massage.

I have been to several Massage Envy locations and this one has been my favorite because of Candace. She gives the best facials I have ever had. She is so kind and really takes her time and does a great job. Highly recommend!

I had a very last minute appointment with Monica at the Squirrel Hill location, recently. I have chronic neck/shoulder pain and was experiencing a pretty intense flair up. Monica specializes in deep tissue massage. She was able to get some deep knots that had taken up residency for way too long. We had a great chat about many things during our session. Monica is amazing and kind. I definitely recommend booking with her if you are looking for therapeutic massage.

I see Monica. She is AMAZING and I can finally have a good massage because of her. I never thought Id say this about a massage therapist, but even the convo is great every time. She is so easy to talk to and we are always laughing. I definitely recommend!

Really need yearly membership. Ill try Squirrel Hill. Legs are cellulite prone. Web says sesame oil. Hoping they can use that . I will bring unopened small bottle.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and calming. Have been to their branch in Sarasota and Pittsburgh and had a great experience each time.

I’m gonna be honest, I almost never leave reviews for businesses. But let me tell you what, I just had THE BEST facial ever. Run, do not walk, to see Max K. I’ve literally never felt so amazing after a facial in my life. I have a Massage Envy membership and typically just go in for massages (I’ve seen a few different massage therapists and they’ve all generally been good), but I will be making an effort to go see Max regularly now.

Yesterday was the first time that I used this location. I usually use the one in Cranberry Township, but called them to get in because they are closer now. They had a cancellation and squeezed me in and the massage therapist that I had was wonderful. She was very easy to talk to and have a conversation with and she was able to dramatically decrease my discomfort level by the time she was done. She was one of the better therapists that I’ve had and will definitely use her on a regular basis. Overall it was a really good experience!!

This location has become a professional and relaxing experience for me. Just what I was hoping for! From the front desk associate Grace was very friendly and efficient from start to finish and my massage therapist James is great at what he does! He was very courteous about what I needed in the session and he also delivered that experience with expectations met. He is great at firm pressure. One of the best masseuse Ive had with that pressure method. I give him a standing ovation for his clapping technique. Pun intended. Thanks again massage envy squirrel hill staff!! Ive never been fond of strangers touching me. Considered it an invasion of my personal space. This was my first time getting a massage. It was a gift from a family member.I must say that I rather enjoyed it and will probably go again.

Great location and friendly service! I got a terrible massage from Monica W. Her technique was awful and she asked me what she should do for the last 20 minutes of the session! Shouldnt she know what to do? I did however get a great massage from Patty. She has a great technique and I was totally stress free when I left!

BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! I made an appointment over a month ago for a massage. The day before my appointment I was sent a reminder text and I confirmed my appointment. I showed up early for the appointment and was told that they had made a mistake and bumped me for a new client off the waitlist. He was not there yet. They confirmed that I had the appointment and that I had confirmed the appointment but would not honor my appointment. Admitting it was their mistake but still decided to give the appointment to the new client they just scheduled!!!!!

I have come to really enjoy coming here a few times a month. The parking is a bit frustrating but the quality of care is exceptional! Ive been a member since 2016 dont plan on canceling in the foreseeable future!

I work as an MT here and I see some complaints about the time. The massages are 50 minutes hands-on, 5 minutes before for the consultation & to disrobe and 5 minutes before the end of session to regain your bearings and redress. We are booked back to back & that is why the front desk staff asks ALL clients to arrive a few minutes before their scheduled appointment so they can use the rest rooms, fill out paperwork if needed, get a drink of water, and/or talk about the membership program with the front desk staff. If the client is late then time is usually cut short if the therapist is booked back to back, even though the other therapists and I try to give as much time as possible.As for having a credit card on file to hold the appointment, lots of places do this. You cant book a hotel without a credit card or book reservations at a restaurant without one either. Therapists get paid for the massages they perform, not by the hour. So, if a client books an appointment, without a card on file, and never shows up then the therapist will not get paid for that time slot that was booked. This is especially true during the weekends when therapists are guaranteed bookings. So with anything, you cant expect things for free. If you book an appointment and are a no call no show then the card on file will be charge 25-50% since the therapist is out of money and wont be able to get booked another massage for that hour. If you make an appointment then please, please keep it or try to call 24 hours in advance. Thank you all so much and we look forward to seeing new faces!

Nice massage place. They treated me well, although I was scolded for not telling them about the aroma therapy I asked for when I booked the appointment (a month in advance). My massage therapist was good but made me feel slightly judged about my reactions/struggle to relax during the massage.

Rogella was absolutely amazing! There was a mix up with the times and she managed to find a different Massage Envy for me and my father to go to! I am very thankful for her. Five stars even though I didn’t even go to that one.

Great, professional, and they dont try too hard to upsell you on additional treatments.Massage quality varies with therapist style, but I found someone very good whom I book several months in advance.

Patty is absolutely the best massage therapist I have ever had. I have had a number of massage therapists over the years and she outshines every one of them. She is very diligent and caring and makes the effort to find out just what you want and the perfect amount of pressure.I need a very firm massage, which I know is a lot of work, but Patty puts everything she has into the massage so that my tight, sore muscles get relief.I can’t begin to come up with enough superlatives to describe Patty’s efforts. Her touch and techniques are the ultimate in therapeutic massage. I am a Massage Envy member because of her.

I made an appointment for a 1 hour massage. They told me to come 15 minutes early to fill out intake papers, which I did. After filling out the papers the receptionist spoke with me about my preferences (which were on the forms that I had just filled out). I sat in a separate area called thequiet room with another woman who kept looking at her watch. We talked, she and I had the same appointment time and it was already after the hour.My masseuse came out to take me back to the room. She walked in the room, sat down, and then began to talk about my preferences that are already written on the paper shes holding in her hand (also the same preferences that I spoke with the receptionist about 20 minutes ago). A better approach could be to introduce yourself then say I have looked over your preferences, is there anything else youd like to focus on or anything that I should know. Instead of wasting my time and money going over what was just written out and discussed.She did a nice portion of the massage through the blanket. If youre not ok with skin to skin contact you should probably look for a different line of work.

2nd massage I’ve had here and 2nd disappointing experience. First massage they cut my time short by 10 minutes. After I pointed this out they did reimburse my massage - so I returned for a second go. In the second massage I requested an area of focus but that was the ONLY area they massaged for the duration of the 50 minutes even though it was a “full body massage”?? Overall, not returning and would not recommend.

As a hater of this modern review age, its simply something I dont take part in. Until today. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. Ive been going to Massage Envy for 12 years and after Squirrel Hills ABSOLUTELY ABHORRENT SERVICE I will never return. Ridiculous.

This place is a complete scam, stay away! Not only is it greatly overpriced, but they cut every corner possible and create the least peaceful and welcoming experience imaginable. I feel sorry for anyone that has wasted their money there.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a spa. It started with the appointment, which required my credit card to hold the appointment, which I found strange, as Ive never had to do that anywhere else..but whatever. So I get there for an 11:00 a.m. appointment, and the massage therapist is running 10 minutes behind. When I get in the room, I ask to add the sugar foot scrub, which they told me on the phone I would be able to do. He tells me that hes running behind and has another appointment at noon...so he basically short changes me 15 minutes on my massage as well as refuses to provide me with all of the services I want. Then when I go to check out, they try to charge me the regular fee instead of the introductory fee...had to check them on that. Total disappointment. Cant ever see myself going there again..not even for free.

I have been going here for years and once I find a massage therapist I love I continue using them until sadly they leave. I am a member and appreciate the member deals and ability to my account on hold. However, massages are expensive!

After trying a few other spas in the Pittsburgh area, this is probably the most cost-effective and convenient place to receive a massage. The introductory offer is a great value (most spas charge over $90 per hour), as well as the massage package offers. The masseuse was professional, responsive and the only one I have found out of about 10 to be able to alleviate my back and neck tension. The atmosphere is not that of a high-end spa, but it plenty to create a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend Massage Envy if you are looking for a economical massage on a flexible schedule.

Had such a wonderful experience with Ashley. Ive struggled with neck pain for months on end and I can say that when I left I felt like a brand new person. The staff was very nice and the place itself was very clean.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Trying to schedule a chair event with them is like pulling teeth with Jello. From what I can tell, they have only one scheduler who is never available, yet every time Ive gone into this location, they have three or four people sitting behind the desk, doing nothing.Every time Ive left a message to be given to the scheduler, Ive been told I would get a call back and NEVER did, until, that is, I got really nasty. Which I felt bad about. Being in customer service myself, I know its not always the person who picks up the phones fault, but dangit, no one was helping me!Will not use again if I dont have to. There are cheaper options to hire masseurs for chair events in this city. Cheaper and way better at customer service.

The massage was okay, considering it was $39. However, I could hear people talking outside during my entire session! Also, there a motor going in another room or something. I asked the receptionist about it, and his reply wasnt very helpful. He didnt even apologize; rather, he said that they had to yell at 2 of their employees during my session, hence the noise.Not sure if Ill be returning here.

I went to get a massage 4 the 1rst time and the lady i had was really nice and her sevices were awesome. Im definately looking forward to going back....it is a must. Thank you Teresa
