Chinese Massage Therapy

This was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Very intense pressure which I like. HOWEVER, we were interrupted four or five times by phone calls that she had left the room to attend and was not allowed to leave until a tip was provided. Had my massage not been interrupted I would’ve been happy to massage but given the interruptions I was less inclined to. Sadly, I will never go back.

I had a hour massage and cupping with Yoyo. She is kind and an excellent massage therapist. I felt my muscles relax and was feeling so much better after the massage! Everything was also very clean! I highly recommend and will return on the regular. Thank you!

Found this place when searching google map. The first time I did air cupping therapy from Yoyo and was immediately addicted. After cupping therapy I felt my body relax, my back pain reduced and I slept soundly. I come almost twice a month. Both therapists here are very professional, energetic, and like to give good advice on maintaining health. They listen to your requests and do their best to help you.

I called in advance and requested a couples massage for an hour, and then a 30 minute reflexology session on top of that. they confirmed it and we showed up. they started with a couples massage.. and we were very confused when they finished in 30 minutes. it seems that they thought we had wanted a 30 minute couples massage. it was really disappointing as i stated what im booking for over the phone, and as we were walking to the room, i double checked again and they rushed us in while nodding. i understand there is a language barrier, but i think a big issue is that they are always rushing. the customer service is pretty poor -- they ushered us into the room so quickly and didnt give much time for us to undress. one of the masseuses literally opened the door to come in and start the massage while i was taking my shirt off, not able to settle in on the table. one of them also picked up phone calls and booked reservations while working on my boyfriend, and i noticed the rushed attitude as well.i think their service would immensely improve if they slowed down and double checked their communication. besides that, the massage was excellent. even in the 30 minutes, my body loosened up so much and i felt so much better. i just feel robbed of the other half, i know it wouldve been great!

I come here often and I must say that these two women, Yoyo & Coco, give the best massages I have ever had in my life. The pressure is based on what you ask for and I am always satisfied. I get full body massages and facial massages. I have also received cupping treatments as an add on to my services. Cupping improves circulation, assist in brining up toxins, and releasing tense muscles. I believe it helps with cellulite as well but I’m not 100% sure as of yet as I only did the cupping treatments twice. I plan on continuing cupping as part of my ongoing self care. There is no need to wait if you need a massage too because I have called same day and was able to get an appointment. Scheduling is best for business but I wanted to share this because sometimes places are booked up. Thank you Yo-yo & Coco for you’re good energy and tense relieving massages.

This was the second time that I visited this business to get Cupping with Yoyo and both experiences were Amazing. Excellent cupping and/or swedish massage with hot rocks, my posture has never been better! Amazing service in both 1 and 2 hour sessions, with special care taken for surgical scars, problem spots, knots in specific muscles, and more. Yoyo really understands lymph/blood/fluid flow throughout the body, and she and her staff always communicate well with clients.

Ive been going here for a little over a year. I try to go once a month cause my job requires manual labor. I normally do the one hour deep tissue and both ladies there do amazing work. I always show up sore and tight and i leave refreshed and pain free. Its a nice relaxing atmosphere. Theres a bit of a language barrier but i dont go for convo. And they are so skilled at their trade it doesnt even matter.

I needed a deep tissue massage and Coco gave the best one I ever received! I went back a week later for cupping by Yoyo and the results were spectacular. In the morning before I couldn’t even pick up my phone in my right hand bc of tennis elbow, but after I was able to use my arm again with much less pain. I will go back and continue cupping and massage therapy until my pain is gone and then will make it a routine to go once a month after for self care!

To be honest, I feel horrible to not be able to give a good review especially since I am a Chinese immigrant and I want to uplift my fellow immigrants’ small businesses. They are very skilled here and apply as much pressure as massages I received when I was back in China. I moved to Pittsburgh last July to start grad school and stumbled upon this place last September I believe. I came here about 4 times depending on how much cash I could save up on the side each month since I’m an international student living paycheck to paycheck. Being raised in the middle of nowhere Ohio by my immigrant mother, it’s always nice to interact with others who speak Chinese.Unfortunately, I think I’ve been incredibly traumatized and as much as I want to return for the massages, I get panicky and sweaty and shaky just thinking of coming back here. The last time I came here the Friday before finals week, I had a new masseuse who had not worked on me before. She was incredibly kind and conversational and did not mind that my Chinese is not as fluent as it used to be when I first came here as a child. We had gotten on the topic of her travels and the beautiful cathedrals she’d visited in Europe. I told her I sang in the choir at the local East Liberty Presbyterian Church and the cathedral was beautiful. When I went to pay, I used the back of an old business card I didn’t need to give her my contact information since I have a car and could take her so she didn’t have to figure out the bus and get lost because of her language barrier and she seems happy and interested. Her boss at the desk confronted me and was very angry, I was confused by her anger but I did understand as her yelled went on that she was upset that another customer had stolen one of her employees in the recent past. She also said that her employee does not have any free time outside of work and seems to use her employee’s immigrant status and language barrier as a way to control her. I rushed out because I was afraid I would go into a panic attack from the yelling but realized I didn’t have all of my bracelets so I went back in to check by the chair where I had put my personal belongings. I took this as a chance to try to give my contact info to the masseuse again, the ink a little smeared and her boss come in screaming at me. I stood my ground, although frightened to death, and told her she didn’t have any right to control what her employees do outside of work and showed her my student ID lanyard to prove I was a local student. Mind you, I am a small 23 year old Chinese American with dyed green hair trying not to cry and dissociating while a middle aged Chinese woman screamed at me and her employee just smiled pleasantly and said “it’s okay, she’s always like this”. Things ended okay, I was able to de-escalate things. The owner told me to come again and I keep considering it but I’m scared.I don’t care what is “normal” there but I was scared out of my mind. I revisited the idea of coming back here with a friend or my partner because I was afraid to come back by myself, but I don’t think I have fully processed or healed from what happened in December. I’m a cane user and have chronic pain stemming from medical complications and massages really help alleviate the muscles down from a high pain level to a mild pain level. I hope I can find another place that is as talented as this place. If you are not triggered by angry owners and yelling and need a great massage, this place is okay, $60 cash for one hour and an extra fee if paying by card. I usually bring $80-90 so that I have tip ready. I am not trying to condemn this business but I needed to tell my story and warn of what the environment can possibly be like.

My wife and I went here for a couples massage. It cost $60 each for an hour. The massage therapists did an excellent job and were very friendly and professional. My wife prefers deep tissue, and I prefer a little less pressure. Both of us agree that it was perfect and we cant wait to go back.

I recently visited this spa and it was amazing. The staff here Yoyo and Coco greeted me with smiles and were super friendly. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, just what I needed. The massage I received was fantastic, really helped relieve my stress. The therapist was skilled and made me feel comfortable. The facial treatment left my skin glowing. The place was also very clean and beautifully decorated, making me feel like I was in a little paradise. They had a great selection of teas to enjoy after my treatments. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I definitely recommend this spa to anyone looking for a peaceful and pampering experience.

YoYo is a miracle worker! I received the cupping and it completely changed my day! I came with a tightness in my neck and lesser mobility and left having full range of motion with no pain. We actually randomly picked this shop, and to be honest, it surprised me. They are offering a special treatment using a professional device to help us relax tensed muscles. This place is amazing! Everyone is so kind and helpful with just overall positive energy! The massage was just what I needed especially working an office job with an awful office chair. My back feels significantly different along with other parts of my body. They pay such great attention to each body part! I had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend! It was late afternoon on a Friday and I had so much stress and tension through my neck shoulders and back from my work week, all I could think of was a massage. I called every massage place in Pittsburgh and nobody had any openings, except for Chinese Massage Therapy. Within an hour I was melting into the massage table. The gentleman was very skilled at working out all the knots and tense muscles, and he was incredibly polite and welcoming, making sure I was comfortable and satisfied throughout the session. Ive been here a number of times but had such a bad experience. i will never go back2 things1, they physically manipulated into upselling into some machine massage. they did the classic cause intense discomfort by putting intense pressure on your most sensitive area trick, making you wince strongly in pain, then of course, offering you an upsell solution which of course fixes the very pain that they are causing. its unethical2, the pressure they put on my back (to get the upsell) was so intense that i screamed. it ended up hurting my back - pulling muscles, and creating bruises that are still here 5 days later. note i am a younger, fit person - i bike, lift weights, jog, and eat well, i am not some easily bruiseable persondont go here

Went there for the first time yesterday after dealing with weeks of back pain. Scheduling on the phone was easy and the place was clean and professional. Be aware that they prefer cash payments.The massage was so relaxing and good—very deep tissue. They have a punch card for returning customers...and I’ll be one. I slept like a rock last night and woke up refreshed today. Feel better than I have in a long time.Thanks Chinese Massage!

I arrived at 1:50pm for a 2:00pm appointment I scheduled over the phone. A European woman walked in 5 minutes later with no appointment scheduled and got serviced before me. My massage was interrupted multiple times by the masseuse leaving the room to go answer the phone and to greet people when they came in and he left the door open towards the end of the massage ( that made me super uncomfortable) . The deep tissue massage was okay. And once the service was done he insisted that I tip him 20% and so I didnt tip him 20%. I did tip him $5, because he kept asking and saying that I have to tip 20% & so I quickly reminded him of everything that took place that made me feel uncomfortable and then I left . Definitely wouldn’t recommend

I surprised my husband with a massage just because. He had not been feeling well emotionally due to a recent death in his family. He enjoyed every moment of his massage and plans to return again. I developed a painful knot in my shoulder, and I was able to get an appointment here the same day. I left feeling pain-free for the first time all day. The therapist was courteous and professional, and she adjusted very well to my feedback. The price is very reasonable for the quality of care and service provided.

My husband and I have quickly become regulars. This husband and wife team really do a great job with deep tissue massage. it includes hot stone which feels wonderful. Facility is very clean and they are always exactly on schedule. We are happy customers.

Ive been there at least 5 times and have had a massage from each massage therapist. Every time it was wonderful and beyond my expectations. Extremely relaxing and Ive finally found therapists that were able to loosen my lower back in one visit. The price is very affordable and worth it.

I have been here a handful of times and the male practitioner was great. However, on my last visit the woman who is usually there managing the desk gave a mediocre massage. The room was freezing and at the end, before I even got my stuff together, she told me I needed to pay her a tip because “the boss” takes the entire $120 I paid for massage. Can’t participate in whatever is happening here.

This place is a fraud. The only time I was there I used my credit card to pay. Since then, I have received a tremendous amount of fraud phone calls from Shanghai. After 8 months, now they even fraud charge my credit card in Singapore. The massage is not even decent. Avoid this place at all costs.

I would give ten stars if I could. I come from Monroeville to get Jenny’s massage. She is very good at what she does. I always ask for a hot stone massage and feel so relaxed after each time. Also I can schedule same day massage, which is very convenient.

I love my therapist at Chinese Massage!! She knows exactly where I am hurting & spends so much time in the right spots! I have trouble with my neck & shoulders because of a car accident & the therapy that followed it, & although Ive only had 3 sessions, I already know it is helping because now I can sleep & I dont wake up in pain. Decided to try this place just to see what it was like and try something different and after the mediocre massage for me and a painful massage for my girlfriend we decided we didn’t want to tip. So on our way out the door the guy asked if we’d like to tip so I said no so he ignored me and asked my girlfriend again, she said no we have no cash, under the pressure of being asked twice so he asked a third time if we’d like to tip on our debit and finally she tipped him $20, I would of let the mediocre massage go and just not written a review but the begging for a tip at the end and acting like he didn’t understand me when I said no warranted this review

This was my first time getting a massage and the experience was TERRIBLE TERRIBLE AND EVEN MORE TERRIBLE🤬🤬. The guy had no idea what he was doing doing my back and shoulders are so BRUISED and SORE it HURTS to even MOVE the STINGING and BURNING of it is even more PAINFUL. Cant believe how much MONEY was WASTED NEVER WILL GO HERE AGAIN AND DONT RECOMMEND IT IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD 🤬🤬

The boss is Chinese and very nice. The store is also very clean. The sheets must be changed every time a new customer comes. The bosss massage techniques are very good. He will use essential oils to massage you. Your body will feel smooth after the massage. In addition, there is a negative oxygen ion cupping machine in the store, which is much more effective than traditional cupping. Five-star recommendation
