Has potential. 5 VIP tables, 2 stage bottle service tables and a balcony that wasnt open. Went around 11pm. Great mix of people from early 20s to mid 50s. More girls this. Guys and everyone seemed to be parting responsibly. Decent collection of whiskey and bourbon. Booker Bourbon near was only $10. Older school hit dance tunes. I just wish my plastic glass was clean ...

Having moved here recently, I kind of expected the nightclub scene to be somewhat plain. Full of steer heads and cowboy boots, and admittedly, I didn’t expect the only nightclub in all of Plano to hold that much appeal.Boy was I wrong!Upon my arrival, I was greeted with VNYL’s Logo lighting rotating on the street as well as the other buildings surrounding it. That was my first indicator that I had arrived, the sweet soulful sounds coming from inside was my second clue.I parked my car in an adjacent parking garage and had no problem there, as parking was plentiful, and on into the club I went.Upon approaching the door, I heard the music change, the beat dropped, and when I walked through the door into the laser lights I felt like I was back in Miami, I couldn’t believe vibe. It was so familiar. Reminiscent of all the best clubs back home.The doorman’s name was Jeff. He was well dressed, and friendly. He asked for my ID, which I found a bit unnecessary considering the amount of grey I sport in my goatee and all. Then he explained, that Legacy VNYL is a private club, serving alcoholic drinks with a proof higher than 51% and me swiping my ID was equivalent to joining. No dues or cover charge were required though. They were just obeying the law and providing a good time to all.I stepped on through the door and was greeted by a lovely cocktail waitress with the coolest of tattoos. I ordered a Crown and 7 their special on Thursday nights. Then I sat down and took a look around. It wasn’t long and a very well dressed and professional bartender named PJ was standing right in front of me asking if there was anyway he could be of service.I took a look at their food menu and though it wasn’t heavy it did appear quite appetizing. I tried their Margherita Flatbread, which was a delicious blend Marinara, Parmesan Cheese, Fresh basil, Cherry Tomatoes, and Mozzarella all baked together on top of a freshly baked flatbread, cut into little bite size squares and man was it great. Just enough to satisfy my late night cravings but not to heavy to keep me from the dance floor that by now was starting to fill up a bit.The first DJ to take a turn spinning the wheels of steel was DJ Kenzi Sway. A beautiful musical seductress with captivating eyes, state of the art ink adorning her body, and hands that just would not quit – she played a lot of mashed up 80’s songs and I was literally getting high from the beat. Or perhaps it was the crown, who knows, but I was enjoying myself.Then 45 minutes later came DJ Ling Ling – whom I had seen earlier, walk in with a motorcycle helmet and begin talking with fans around the bar. A real cool down to earth chick, whose music was anything but cool. Meaning it was ‘fire hot.’ I wasn’t as familiar with some of her song choices, but the beat – the beat moved my feet.These two alone would have been enough to call my night complete but at 12:30 sharp – the music changed again. That’s when the DJ Sno White took to the stage and began to spin. Her social media page announces that she’s been voted the best female DJ in all of Texas. That title gets no argument from me. Long blond flowing hair and spinning records with a fierceness. I was so high on Audio Adrenaline, I did not need any more Crown. I just took a seat in their VIP area, ordered a bottle from that beautiful cocktail waitress who greeted me when I came through the door, and soaked it all in.This place was every bit as great as Miami, and the DJs were even better. I think I am going to like Texas just fine.It is with this nights experience in mind that I write this review. A review to say Thank you to Legacy VNYL for being my first.My first Nightclub experience in North Texas. My first night out here since having arrived, and the first place I’ve been that I’ve been that’s made glad I left Florida. With nightclubs this hot – I may never go back.Signed,A VNYL fan.

This place ROCKS! Theres an amazing vibe. The music is fantastic. The bartenders and security staff are extremely courteous and friendly. LOVED the confetti cannon and lighting. Its located in a great spot with easy packing or Uber pickup access. Check it out. You wont be sorry.

I have been into this club exactly once, on a holiday weekend, and it was almost empty so I am not sure how it is under normal situations. The music was actually quite good, the sound I mean, (not the lyrics), there is an upstairs lounge, which was closed on my visit, but would have an awesome view of the dancefloor and VIP area next to the DJs. The small crowd was mature, I would say mostly 30s and they were very well dressed. Lastly this club is in a very upmarket district, tucked behind the Legacy strip mall, there is good police presence, and it is generally a safe area.

This place has alot of potential if they can find the right DJ. I was there on Halloween and we had an ok time all in all. No cover charge, drinks were good and reasonably priced. The music however was boring playing the same repetative type songs. There were many different ethnicities there so more of a variety would have been awesome.

This place desperately needs a dress code, otherwise it will keep attracting thugs and shady characters and drive away its desired clientele of well to do suburbanites that will buy tables and spend lavishly every weekend. DJs are usually awful, most dont let songs play longer than 20 seconds. Very irritating.The upside is that this is a beautiful nightclub with an amazing sound system in the heart of northwest Plano and The Shops At Legacy. Great bartenders, professional doormen and security, clean bathrooms and a great layout. Plenty of parking and easy access.If they can sort out the dress code, DJs and clientele, this place will be a major draw with a line out the door trying to get in. We will give it a few more visits. Definitely recommended.

As a guy, clubs are often difficult, not to mention pricey. Youre charged a cover, the drinks are expensive, youre pressured to buy a table - it makes you just want to stay home to avoid losing everything in your wallet. VNYL does none of that - its a modern, busy club that sits nestled off to the side of the shops of legacy. Ive never been charged a cover here, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the music is rather good. Despite this, it manages to avoid the old tropes of being too full of one gender at a time, and security appear to be pretty good at making rounds to keep an eye on stuff. My fiancee and I enjoy it here quite a bit, and I cant recommend it enough if youre looking for a late night out.

Worse night club ever visited so far and had the worst experience of my life. I was about to go inside the club with my friend and the bouncer named Mike, he came and stopped us from going inside. I was shocked because we werent doing anything wrong and we were completely sane. When we tried to ask him whats wrong, he told us to get outta that place and he tried to put hands on my friend and was about to hit him. We were completely unknown about the situation thats why we asked another bouncer whats going on? And he told us to give that bouncer $20 to settle down the situation. So money was what he wanted. What a shame? Not visiting that place ever again. And that bouncer Mike should be reported.

This place is a joke! I was there on 3/23 with a group of friends and they made us wait in line. When we got in the place it was not even 75% full. There was $20 cover charge because it was LA STYLE something 🤣🤣that was a joke too. The DJ was good but don’t charge for something that is no where close to LA style or Miami style. Obviously you guys have never been to a club in Miami or LA. We had a table upstairs and two of our friends went up and we were right behind and the bouncer stopped us and was rude. This place is let down to other places I’ve been to and really no pretty ppl there. I won’t be going back

I went to VNYL for a band event. Im a huge fan follower of Latina Fusion, so I went to VNYL on a Thursday to hear the band play. The space is beautiful and the band event was the best time to go because the crowd was ideal: music lovers, musicians, dancers and friends and fans of the band. At a special event, you can move freely around the place. To be honest, I avoid places like VNYL because they are too big and exclusive. But the Thursday night with Latina Fusion is what gives the event 4 stars. The band was absolutely brilliant and Id pay to see them play anywhere. Not 5 stars because drinks at VNYL are expensive and the liquor selection was disappointing.

Went and came out within 20 mins. They didnt have dj playing till 11.20 pm.. It was boring. No crowd either. Heard it was good so wanted to try it out on a Friday .. but couldnt even stay half an hour.Oh also the dude/bouncer at the door is so so rude.. Guess what, he took the remianing 4 stars 😂

Bartenders are highly unprofessional, confrontational and combative. I wanted to close out my tab and the barback took my drink when I wasnt finished , then gave me back another customers unfinished drink. I explained to the bartender I wasnt finished with my drink and then the bartender gives me attitude and then personally escalades the situation by saying lets take it outside We go outside and the bartender tries to make good because the manager is outside working the door, the bartender then offers me to by me a drink to save face (and job) in front of his manager/employer. The fact of the matter has nothing to do with the dollar, nothing to do with the drink, its about the principle and how you treat and respect your customer. The manager listened and tried to deescalate the situation by saying well the bartender did offer you a drink but its simply very dismissive, and enabling to allow the bartender to under mind and disrespect the customer.Dont be fooled by the nice location, when it comes to customer care and service VNYL is low rent.

Ghetto, shisty and disgusting. The only good thing was the DJ. The bartender tried charging me $94 for 1 beer and 1 vodka and when I refused, the manager asked us to leave..how convenient. You’ve been warned.

One of a kind spot at shops at Legacy southside. Beautiful venue with top notch sound, lights and visuals. Drinks are moderately priced and staff was friendly. The parking garage is directly in front of front entrance.

Only real dance club north of 635. New GM has saved thus place, bringing in professional security, great music, and go-to dancers. Unfortunately has become the go-to spot for thugs and douche bags, but what do you expect for the new hookup spot for the metroplex?

My wife and I went to VNYL last Friday, and had a GREAT TIME! The DJ was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. My wife ordered a Shock Top beer and my wife asked the bartender if she could have an orange slice with it and the bartender said they dont have any. So then my wife asked a different bartender, her name is Nhi. And she said no, sorry... Which was fine! So we kept having a good time and Nhi came back to us and said she found one!!! Thats what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! She went out of her way to get my wife what she wanted, when she didnt have to. We greatly appreciate that! You dont find great customer service like that often. We will definitely be back for Nhi and the great DJS!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT NIGHT VNYL!

No chairs, no tables, no good drinks ,the dancers were ok ,I didnt feel welcome since the beginning when it was already 10 pm (supposed time to open ) and it was 20 minutes afterward and staff kept coming and going at the doors, and it was cold ,cover for a couple $35 Im not going back.

Great place to party! Great location with easy access parking. Bartenders and security are always super friendly! The lights are amazing and love the confetti cannon! 🔥

The only real Nightclub in Far North Dallas, This place has an amazing sound system and Lighting rig to match. Open music format on their club ights that caters to all walks of life. Table service is available and is encourged. THEY HAVE A FULL KITCHEN AS WELL. Eat, Drink Dance till we hours of the morning.

Very high end night club. The atmosphere is amazing. Great lighting, especially the leader lights and stage lights. Great dj and nice selection of alcohol.

We were having a great night until the bartender started being rude to us while taking care of other costumers. We spoke to the manager Abby and she was with Ross and they didn’t really care about us... never going back again....

DRAINED MY BANK ACCOUNT with fraudulent charge to my debit card and no one will return my calls. I will be filing a police report to try and recover funds. This was my first time here and I will NEVER come back and Ill tell everyone to stay far far away.

Place was fun and the music was great! The waitresses treated our party that got bottle service like VIP and went above and beyond for us.

Eclectic crowd, half nekkid go-go dancers, overpriced drinks. They periodically shoot/drop toilet paper confetti all over the dancefloor if thats your thing.

This guys are AWESOME i took my whole barbershop/ salon workers here and they took very good care of us..... FELT LIKE WE WAS CELEBRITIES!

Its a fun place after they changed it up from the last place. They place good music and have the theatrics of lights shows.

Nice Setting but very disappointed with the attire of 95% of the people...it was a Red Carpet Gala and 5 people were in Gowns...
