What an amazing experience! So relaxing, Kailey was so attentive, really made me feel like a queen. My skin was rejuvenated after the detox full body wrap as well as a facial. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to Onyx Spa since 2018 and the team has never been short of amazing. I see Kailey regularly for my facials and eye brow waxes. I’ve purchased sweat sessions, had my hair cut, received massages. They are quality people and professionals. Macy always greets me by name, even when I haven’t seen her in a while. Cannot recommend Onyx more. They truly care about your health and well being!

First off, the spa/salon is incredibly cute! It radiates the best vibes and smells amazingggg. Secondly, I had the most amazing 90 minute facial with Mikaela. She’s my previous beauty school teacher so it was an honor to have been treated by the master herself. Hands down, best facial I’ve ever had. The massage was unlike any other I’ve experienced, it was so incredibly relaxing. She is very knowledgeable and recommend me some goodies. Very happy with my service and highly recommend!

I had a facial from Kailey at Onyx, she was amazing. Her hands were gentle and I felt very relaxed. She was very personable and made sure she understood my skin. She heard my underlining concerns with my problem areas. She took her time and my face felt so very smooth after. I absolutely had glowing skin for several days after my facial. The overall experience was wonderful. The spa is beautiful and I have several more appointments already booked. Kailey is a must see, you wont regret it.

I had the absolute honor of visiting Onyx Salon and Spa today and having a 90 minute facial done by Mikaela! She was one of my instructors from Beauty School and it was really awesome to get to visit her and see her in her element! You can feel through her work that this is her passion. Let me tell you, I love love love going to Kailey for my facials/skin care. She is AMAZING! She is so knowledgeable and answers all my questions! My favorite part is she personalizes my facials to based on my specific skin care needs. My skin has improved so much since from my first appointment and continues to get better. Plus, I’m very self conscious of my skin and she didn’t make me feel bad at all for having certain issues. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending her to anyone. I always look forward to my appointments.

Ok! This salon/spa is the absolute best. They have the best vibe, it’s so relaxing and peaceful. Everyone is so friendly and sweet. I go to see Mikaela for the most amazing facials. She’s the kindest human being, she makes you feel so comfortable, she definitely knows what she’s talking about. I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed I promise.

I have received two facials from Kailey and my skin has never looked or felt better. She is knowledgeable about what was best for my skin and is so friendly and personable that 90 minutes just flies by. Ive been seeing Mikaela for years now! I have seen a few lash lift artists who were fine but Mikaela takes the gold medal! Her lash lifts last longer than any other person who has done them and the experience she gives her clients is top knotch. She is always happy to see you when you enter the salon (which is classy and beautiful btw) and remembers details about your life as you chat during your session! Ive gotten lash lifts, facials and eyebrow wax/tint from her and I have never had any issues. I love to go to her because she is continuously expanding her education and has clean product recommendations. Her product recommendations literally changed my face!! After facials with her I was rid of my cystic acne which Id had for a couple years. She seriously helps me feel beautiful every time I leave her! 10/10 would recommend this salon and Mikaela!

Ive had a few things done from this spa and theyve all been from Mikaela. Shes a lovely person who has a real healing hand in facials and customer care. Ive also had brow waxes which Ive loved as well. She always uses a cold roller after which is a must for a sensitive skin girl! Never had a place do that before.

This spa has turned into my little oasis during the hectic work week. I can’t say enough amazing things but most importantly this spa has introduced me to Mikaela who has transformed my skin and how I view skin care and skin care products. She provides an amazing balancing facial and I always feel so at peace and relaxed during my time with her. I encourage everyone to take time for themselves and BOOK AT ONYX. I had the best experience at Onyx. I got a derma-plane facial from Mikaela and she was fantastic. She first started off about talking about my current skin care and if I was happy with it or not. I love when people educate you and take time to understand you. Then the facial was so relaxing and my skin looked absolutely phenomenal after. Saw Emily for the first time to revamp my blonde highlighted hair and could not be happier!! Her attention to detail, obvious experience and mastery of her craft was so refreshing and comforting! Since moving to the area I have not been able to find someone I trusted to highlight my hair or who I thought was really worth the price I was being charged and yesterday I left so happy, relaxed and excited about my hair! I’ve been seeing Holly for facials and sugaring for the past several months and she is the BEST! She is very knowledgeable and also very personable. She will make you feel so comfortable during your service and will do everything she can to help you with all your skin concerns. Also, if you’re a weirdo like me and enjoy talking during your services, you will love her! She is such a kind and genuine person. A big part of the reason I come so consistently is because I truly enjoy coming to see and visit with her! I also want to give a big shout out to the front desk staff at Onyx. Everyone I have encountered at the front desk is super sweet and will ask about your day, weekend plans, etc. You can tell they really care and are not just asking the routine “retail” questions. I would highly recommend Onyx (especially Holly) to anyone looking for an esthetician. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been seeing Mikaela to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted since Onxy first opened and I have never once been disappointed! She is consistent with her waxes and has always made sure I am happy with the end result. Mikaela creates a relaxing environment where you can go to unwind and recharge! I highly recommend seeing her, you won’t regret it.

Mikaela is the eyebrow queen!! She takes the time to listen to what you want for your brows to make them perfect. I never knew an eyebrow wax and tint appointment could be so relaxing! I have been seeing Mikaela for lash lifts and facials for years now! She is so friendly, so great at her job & I always leave feeling better than I walked in! Her space is so relaxing, she is open to chatting or letting you sit in peace. I can’t imagine going to anyone else!

Kailey did such a good job on my facial. She listened to my concerns and made sure she used the right products for my skin. I was expecting some redness with having sensitive skin but the way she cooled my skin down during the service helped so much. My skin isnt irritated, or red. Its just soft and glowy. Also the massage was amazing, as a hairstylist I carry alot of tension in my neck and shoulders and she did a great job. I cant wait to come back and get some other services done.

I started going to Onyx last year to see Emily after going to a salon in Tacoma for 15 years because a friend raved about her, and yep… Emily is on 💯% on point! She has done several different haircuts, color methods/treatments and hairstyles- cause Emily is great at helping me decide what might be fitting my mindset that day 😂 - and I have left completely loving every new thing she does. Even more, my husband loves every new look too!Emily Dailey is fantastic for the reasons above but she makes the salon experience fun, comfortable and totally worth the change!

Holly was the best!! She did my facial the day before my wedding! She was so accommodating and I felt so connected to her. I will definitely be back! She recommended a facial routine for me and products to go along with it.

Onyx is very friendly and knowledgeable. I visit often trying all their services and love each one. My favorite is massage. I walk in tense and tight and leave relaxed, happy and looking forward to my next visit. Karli is great! She finds all the tight muscles and works out the kinks and mixes in relaxation massage. She suggests things I can do at home to help with my tight areas and it works! All the girls offer great advise. The salon is a very relaxing place. Looking for your new happy place? Kailey is absolutely amazing. She is so professional and asks all the right questions to ensure your facial is personalized for your skin and targets any issues you may be having. I finally had my first facial and WOAH! It’s been 3 days and I’m still feeling amazing. Kailey is not only incredibly nice and welcoming, she’s knowledgeable and definitely knows her stuff! She put me right at ease and asked all the right questions about my skin care routine, skin type, and concerns. I scheduled the 90 minute facial and it was so worth it. Kailey worked her magic and massaged out all my kinks and problem areas (especially my tense shoulders). I left feeling like a brand new woman. I’m not a high maintenance person and I rarely treat myself, but I’ve been converted! I will be back for more! Thank you Kailey!!!

I have been going to Kailey for years. I didn’t hesitate at all when she told me she was moving to a new salon. I will follow her anywhere! Her attention to detail is on par and her knowledge is excellent! She always asks if there have been any changes in my skin care routine and accommodates to them. Onyx spa is lucky to have her and I am sure business will increase ten fold because of Kailey!

Can’t say enough good things about this spa! I had been wanting to treat myself to a facial here for quite sometime, and finally did. My esthetician, Mikaela, was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. I feel she went above and beyond with what I was expecting the service to be. She recommended an additional skin peel to help give my skin a fresh start, along with a neck/shoulder and hand massage while my mask/peel were setting. Upon checkout, the gal at the front desk was super friendly, and I was also given 10% off my bill for being a first time guest. Definitely treat yourself to a spa day at Onyx, and support a wonderful local business!

Such a treat to receive a facial by Mikaela. She listens to skin concerns and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed instantly. I’ve always had sensitive skin that can get and stay very red but leave my facials with soft hydrated glowing skin. The scalp and facial massage is also drool worthy. Doing the peels too is also a game changer.

Firstly this spa is beautiful, so much detail into every little thing, impeccably clean and such sweet staff. I saw Jasmine for a full leg sugaring. It was my first time ever being sugared! She was so incredibly sweet and professional. I thought the experience was great, there was little discomfort for a huge reward. I’ve never experienced having such soft legs for so long. I have corse thick hair on my legs and now over a week later with no shaving my legs are still very soft. There is hair growth but it’s come back softer and not as thick. I’m thoroughly impressed by this product and service. I would highly suggesting this spa for any service, especially sugaring. I’ll be back for more services in the future.

Onyx is one of the best spa environments Ive been to. A lot of their marketing emphasizes recharging your soul and I genuinely feel recharged when leaving there. From the minute you walk in you can feel the calmness and peacefulness. I get facials and massages there, I recommend MAYCE!! Shes awesome at both. Her facials are magical, shes passionate about what she is doing, creative with her choice of treatment and also is very educational on what she finds within your skin. And I personally love to be educated on what I can do to improve my skin, even when not at the spa, so I always really appreciated that! She gives great recommendations for skin care routines. 10/10 would recommend!

Onyx is incredible. If you are in need of a facial, look no further. Kailey is a skin goddess and I have never felt better. Not only was Kailey so professional, but she has the a personality that will make any and everyone feel welcomed, safe and comfortable. Ive been to Onyx Spa a few different times. Went for 2 different massages. One was a regular and second time it was a pregnancy massage. It was amazing! I was really nervous about the prenatal massage but the girl (Sorry dont remember her name, she is brunette) and she made me feel so comfortable! Third time I went for hair and makeup for a special occasion. The woman I believe who did it is one of the owners. Something came up and I was only able to do my makeup and for the inconvenience she did not charge me which was incredibly sweet! I cant wait to go back!!

Mikaela is a facial goddess! Shes so in-tune with cultivating a relaxing atmosphere and so intentional about providing the best service she can. Ive never once - in the 4 years ive been coming to her - walked out more stressed or feeling like my skin was still missing something. She takes her time to HEAR you and what your concerns are and providing recommendations to help you achieve the skin of your dreams.plus her massages and gua shua stones and bobbles always help relieve the tension I create with clenching my teeth from stress!Could not recommend her more!

Very relaxing, calm, and soothing 90 minute facial which included massaging of the arms, scalp, and legs. Holly did an amazing job.I Left feeling refreshed and light as a feather. You practically fall asleep on the massage table.Very informative, professional, and gentle.Highly recommend going.

Onyx Spa is my new go to for all things spa! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the place is gorgeous and clean and I feel right at home every time! I started getting my arms sugared by Ms. Jasmine a few months ago and she honestly changed my life! I LOVE SUGARING! I have now been to Onyx twice. The first time was to see Jessa for my hair. My hair felt so good after she fixed all the split ends I had after quarantine. She is also the nicest and most professional, I am definitely going to her regularly!The second time I came back to see Kailey for a facial because I was getting some serious maskne from wearing a face mask all the time. Kailey did a great job doing extractions gently (not something all estos are gentle with) and her massage techniques are AMAZING!Their safety protocols and cleanliness is amazing as well, I felt very safe and everything seemed very clean and professional.If you are looking for a great place to take care of your skin and hair in Puyallup these are the ladies to see!

I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to write a review. Onyx Spa is amazing! The staff is always warm and welcoming. Everything is always very tidy and clean. I have seen Mayce and Karli for massages- both amazing massage therapists. I always leave my appointments feeling good, and happy I came. I have seen Tasha for a brow wax, and she is fantastic as well. All around, amazing spa that I would recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favor and indulge in a service here!

Gentlemen! If you’re looking to relax after a long week of work, or just want to treat yourself to something nice, a facial with Kailey is your ticket to nirvana. I gotta admit I was a little skeptical at first, not knowing what a facial was and thinking, “I can wash my own face”. But after giving it a try, and witnessing the hands of an angel, I’ve been back 3 times. I recommend booking the 90 minute facial because the shoulder, neck, arm, hand, scalp, and foot massage will put you in a state of relaxation only comparable to being back in the womb.

Endea is a great hairstylist. I went to this salon for the first time and I barely leave reviews. But I must say this is THE best salon I’ve ever been to. She listened to me, was very professional and cut my hair precisely.

I had an amazing dermaplaning facial from Holly. My face is so smooth now. She also recommended some great products for my skin type. I absolutely recommend getting a facial from Holly. Shes also an amazing sugaring artist!

Jessa did such an amazing job fixing my jacked up, do it yourself hairtastrophe, I just had to boast! My hair was orange and yellow for at home due and also very dried out from not being cut for so long. She took such care with my dry brittle hair, paying special attention not to over process it. My last highlight experience at a different salon left me with chunks of hair breaking off.I also want to point out that all of the many many times Ive had highlights, I have always had a line in my scalp where they start the bleach. She blended it in so nicely and made it look super natural! Im so impressed by her artistic talents! Thanks Jessa, you rock!

Finally got my quarantine hair under control, and they are as safe as can be. Temp check and hand wash at the door and limited number of clients allowed inside make a safe, clean salon experience. Ask for Emily, she was great!

Stylist Emily Dailey, is unbelievably talented. She listens to my desires and works her magic with my hair. I’m in love every time and I get numerous compliments on my blonde locks. I’ve been going to Emily for years, so thankful for her.

I went here as a birthday gift, the overall experience for myself was I felt the hair stylist did not want do my hair the pictures I showed her she told me were unrealistic after the internet getting a hold of them so she couldnt do it. She made no conversation with me while she bleached my hair, she left me unattended multiple times for 15 mins at a time after the timer went off on the machine I sat there for a good 15 mins waiting for her to come back. Towards the end when she had to put toner in my hair she conversated with me a little she left me in the sink for what felt like another 15-20 mins which my neck was starting to hurt after awhile. After that she was styling my hair and it came out okay on top, she started talking with me about children and how she seems bothered she had one which I am a mother I felt was very unprofessional and I was bothered by it alot after all the whole experience and then looking through my hair later on I found orange pieces and different colors through my hair I personally would not come back here again I had to go to a different salon to correct it.

Ive been going to the spa for the last several months and they always make it such an immersive experience for relaxation and recharge! Ive gotten facials from both Kailey and Mikhaela and they both do such good work and are so considerate of the client experience and comfort! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

I have been going to Onyx since it was just Mayce in another location in Puyallup. Mayce is incredible and makes you feel so relaxed and welcomed. I have had massages, waxing, and facials done at Onyx by multiple different staff and every time is wonderful. I leave refreshed and relaxed. I have also had a service during this Covid time and I felt very safe. I am an ICU nurse and felt very comfortable with the level of precautions and cleanliness of the spa. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting the best spa experience in Puyallup.

Alex is suppurb with hair, cuts and colours my curly hair with precision and grace. And Tasha was great with my eye brow tinting and was very helpful with skin care. And the water they provide is exquisite. All around great service and astedicly pleasing.
