I’ve had many great experiences here. Even referred my wife and friends to them. But they didn’t go above and beyond when I had a legit excuse on why I couldn’t make it to my Saturday appointment. When I even booked my wife with them same day earlier. As the primary appointment ( 2 same day appointments).You’re only a transaction, nothing more.

My first visit here with Jason was amazing and he’s beyond 5 stars. He listens and is very attentive.I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy so he recommended I see Michon for the remainder of my prenatal massages. I expected him to refer me to someone with as much passion and attentiveness as himself (not his fault). I was so disappointed today when I got my first massage from Michon. She was on her phone the entire time and I received a one handed massage while her other hand was busy texting. Every little tap on her phone caused it to vibrate, so I could hear vibrating my entire massage. At one point she had her phone laying on my buttcheek while she was tapping away on it. I mean are you serious?!She called me back a few minutes past my appointment time, took quite some time to get back in the room once I was undressed and ready to go. It just felt like a total waste of time and money.I figured it would be easier to pay beforehand, I even tipped 20% expecting great service… I definitely regret doing that and wish I would’ve waited to pay and tip appropriately at the very end.I let the front desk know she was on her phone the entire time and nothing was said or done about it.-Shantel Moore

Everyone of the therapist Ive seen has been amazing, and Ive seen almost all of them. They all have their own techniques that are unique and incredibly effective. Front desk people are the nicest and most helpful. They go out of there way to help you with scheduling. They even accept my insurance, a must for me, since I get my massages prescribed by my chiropractor. Even open on Saturdays!!

I have seen Lena a couple of times and she is a great wealth of information and does awesome deep tissue if you like that kind of massage, which I love!My 6.5 year old son recently saw Michon for cranial sacral therapy. She made him feel comfortable in a new situation and told us he didnt need any more sessions till his tongue tie release. Im thankful for providers who dont try and sell unnecessary treatment!Thanks Unlocking the body therapists, you guys are great!

I LOVE coming here. The staff at the front are always so friendly. Everywhere you go is very clean; lobby, restroom, massage rooms. I see Colette and Morgan the most, but they are all fantastic! They are so professional. Just cant say enough.

Unlocking the body is the the best message therapy I have ever had. I highly recommend Alex, as she has been my primary therapist. The whole staff as been a pleasure working with.

Sad day. I still like my therapist, but I was very aware that customer appreciation is not the business model of the company. Ive been going here since 2015 and would say close to or over 100 appointments. Two days ago there was a missed appointment. Not missed, just I had the wrong time of 11:30 and it was 10:30. My fault, should have paid attention to the reminder text, but anyway, its my fault. Reschedule for today. Todays massage was great, but not the companys value they put on a long-term customer. I also have to mention that making this error is the first, or maybe it happened once before, but I can not recall it.They charged me a $110.00 no-show fee. I can understand a recent new customer or someone who this happens frequently, but having been going here 9 years it just rubbed me the wrong way...I will have to take some time to try and relax about this issue. It sure didnt make me relax during my massage today.

I have been going here for years and LOVE IT. I will not go anywhere else. Even though they don’t take my insurance anymore, it’s worth the out of pocket cost & the drive. All therapists do an amazing job. The front desk staff is welcoming & always make it right. I had them cancel an appt twice in a week due to sickness & they added on an additional 30 min for free. It was appreciated. Highly recommend for any massage needs

Morgan is simply the best! I feel so fortunate to have found such an amazing massage therapist who not only excels at her job, but also radiates genuine enthusiasm for it. With every visit, I leave feeling not only physically rejuvenated but emotionally uplifted. Morgans cheerful and humorous demeanor is so infectious that I often find myself engaged in lively conversations, making it difficult to fully relax – but in the best way possible.Morgans ability to identify tension and discomfort in your body and her skill in releasing it is truly unmatched. After each session with her, I leave feeling significantly better. If youre contemplating trying this place out, I wholeheartedly recommend it. While Ive only experienced Morgans expertise, if the rest of the staff is anything like her, youre in for a treat, for sure!

I get massages when Im usually in pain. When leaving from my visit, I feel so much better, relieved from pain and relaxed. All the therapists Ive had have been great each time. Easy to call or text to get an appointment scheduled. Prices are reasonable and worth it.

This place is absolutely amazing! The front desk attendants are absolutely wonderful and a joy to talk to. And dont get me started on how wonderful the massages therapists are! Ive seen many of them and have had an amazing experience with each and every one of them. Everyone has their specialties and own twang on the experience. Many thanks to everyone! Easy five stars. This is a great place to go for massage work. The staff are friendly and professional and the vibe is immaculate. Alexandra is my therapist and she is exceptional! She is very knowledgeable and thorough. I appreciate her attention to detail and the wonderful care she provides.

I have been coming here for several years and have had the best experience with my therapist (I hesitate to name her as her schedule may fill up and I have less time with Alex.... oops!). I have been treated wonderfully here by everyone... even the front desk personnel.Now that the cat is out of the bag... Alex is amazing! She will meet the client on their level whether they want it to be quiet or like me where I ask 100 questions during our time. She is hands down the best they have.I have read some of the recent low reviews. I can say that the front desk people have been very polite with all clients (in person and on phone) every time I have been there. They do make it very clear in the onboarding process of the cancelation policy. I have missed a few appts before (Sorry Alex) and paid the fee even though I have been there for several years. I feel you cant blame UTB if someone is click happy going through the onboarding process and doesnt read the cancelation policy or doesnt remember reading itI hope you see how many 5 star reviews they have compared to the lower rated ones. Unfortunately, businesses can not make every client happy as much as they try, but I hope seeing so many 4-5 Star reviews will show you that UTB is a great place to be.

This place is amazing. A simple matter of texting and they will set you up. Communication is amazing, and many therapists to chose from. I HIGHLY recommend these guys!!!

I have seen Anne for over 2 years now. She is truly my healer. I believe her expertise in breast massage helped me recover quickly and efficiently from breast implant illness. Every session I felt a huge relief. I have also struggled with chronic headaches for years and so many doctors were quick to prescribe medication as a band aid, when Anne took away the root problem of the headaches with massage in the right areas. I am so blown away by her healing powers. She has a true gift and deserves to be praised for it. She gives me hope with my health struggles. UTB is straight fire! Every LMT Ive had the pleasure of experiencing has far exceeded my expectations. Each LMT has their own style, and each equally as enjoyable as the next. Although Im new to the massage game, UTB seems to be at the top of it. Would 100% recommend it! Ill definitely keep returning despite the fact that its a bit of a drive because its definitely worthy of the trip. So far, Ive had the pleasure of seeing Erica, Morgan, and Rachel. Alexandra was amazing and seriously help me so much! Literally had no movement to my neck as it was so stiff from the pinch nerve I got. She worked on my neck and back and allowed me to gain mobility back from my back and neck. Seriously an MVP. Can’t wait to go back for another visit!

Beautifully decorated spa, with plenty of space to relax as you wait. Massage therapist Jeanette is amazing, and I recommend her. This spa offers diverse types of massage styles that other places dont have. Prices are competitive with the current market and the services are worth every penny.

My favorite place to get a massage!I havent encountered a massage therapist that wasnt amazing over the years that Ive been visiting. They helped me after a car accident and are great for just a relaxing massage too. They have a great atmosphere and they sell candles that smell amazing!!I always recommend them!!!

Glad I showed up to my appointment, was thinking about canceling but went through with it. Needless to say I would give this place and my LMT 10 stars if I could. Awesome atmosphere, clean, relaxing, and I had a great LMT who was professional and amazing.

Wonderful experience and beautiful spa! UTB was able to accommodate me extremely last minute. The staff is SO friendly and helpful, I feel like I was so well prepared leading up to the appointment. I had Michon for a prenatal massage, it was so relaxing. Highly recommend UTB, whether you are looking for a prenatal or a regular massage!

Some of the best therapists I’ve had. Every therapist obviously has a different style and technique. One of my favorites right now is Eric. He gets it that sometimes it needs to be more therapeutic and relaxing vs sports medicine and rehab. He gets the difference and it’s nice to get what I need each time.The front desk team keeps things super friendly ( I give them a silly hard time) but they are very organized and put up with me so 10 extra stars lolI’ve been coming here for a few years now and am quite happy. I commute from bonney lake and give the front desk team a hard time about the need for a bonney lake office. They humor my snark about this and smile and wave lolA good team regardless of my colorful goofiness.

I would NOT recommend these scammers. I purchased a gift card in July 2023 for my boyfriends birthday. He accidentally spaced on his massage time and called 15 minutes into the appt time saying he messed up, asked if he could head down or re schedule. They said no, and they said the gift card doesn’t get to be used anymore. I said that’s not how it works with Washington state laws for gift cards, and explained they can’t just void it because I paid for it and didn’t get to use the service. No clue why I couldn’t have been charged a late fee? I pulled my emails up, and tried to find the actual email gift card where it shows the verbiage on cancellations and I cannot find it. I would’ve been fine paying deducted some of it for a cancellation fee, but it’s bogus they claim now my $100 is gone because they still had to pay the massage person for a massage that never happened. It’s not a good company policy. I need to reach out to the owner, as I will be disputing it with my bank, and contacting the attorney generals office. The manager said “it’s not like this is masssge envy” bashing another massage company. Well, good to know I will be taking my business TO massage envy since they will understand sometimes, life happens, and a one time cancellation sometimes happens. What if someone was hospitalized ? What if someone was in a car accident ? These people are not understanding about that life happens. Save your money, otherwise you will legit be out the whole amount if you miss the appt, and in turn your spouse will be super sad that you waisted your money on such a bunk business-this won’t stop here with this review. Perhaps when people are sent a email, that appears terrible by the way over email you should disclose, and make things a bit more clear, or verbally tell people before they decide to purchase a gift certificate!!!! I will be reaching out to the attorney general and BBB. At the end of the day, one time exceptions should be made for a REPEAT customer . They should also verbally tell customers this when customers ask about gift certificates. I won’t support a business that simply-doesn’t do the right thing, and isn’t about making customers satisfied. By the way , if you haven’t thought about company profit as a business model, this is one of those where, you just don’t profit if you don’t retain your customer . But I’m glad the $100 birthday gift certificate was worth that company decision (manager )

Got a gift certificate booked for my wife as a mothers day gift with the help of Christine! She was very helpful and answered all my questions. Made it easy to chose their service!

I went in for an lni claim. Every time I went in I had a different massage therapist. They were all very kind and attentive. I was always asked beforehand how I was feeling and what areas of my body were hurting. Made me feel comfortable and helped me relax each time I went. Thank you for the great experience overall, the receptionist were all very nice as well. I like that I could text them and they respond immediately too😌👍🏻👍🏻

I was to have my first massage appt today. I called a few days ago to make the appt and was told all the acct set up would be done when I came in. I was late getting out of work today and had to reschedule, I tried to call in but the phone rang and rang (left a VM). I called back again shortly before the appt and was rudely told that if I wanted to schedule again, I’d have to pay $90 for the missed appointment, along with paying up front for future ones.I was never told this when I scheduled over the phone, and had I known this would have scheduled for a weekend. It would have been nice to at least been told this when I scheduled, or given the option to pay up front for future visits (would have gladly done) but not pay for a service I never received. You shouldn’t enforce a policy that Customers haven’t been notified of, or signed off on.I’m partly at fault, but give someone the heads up of how it works before you start demanding money.

Super relaxing ambience. This office is very progressive, with the most cutting edge techniques! Love that! The cupping technique is fantastic! The receptionist was warm, friendly and efficient! Perfect combo for this type of service work. Ive seen 3 different therapists and been more than happy with all. Ill definitely be returning! Easy on the checkbook too! :)

I’ve gotten a massage I was so impressed with my therapist. I had my time wrong. My therapist called me 15min into my appointment and asked if I had already signed in. I was late instead of canceling me she told me to come in! Most places would have said I have to forfeit my appointment!

As a neuro-divergent person (autism) that has a neuro-degenerative disease (Charcot-Marie-Tooth), I have to write: this place is a blessing to the surrounding area.They were-and-are so very kind and patient with me, which is unfortunately rare. These days, everyone is so busy, they lose sight of what compassion truly means. They are very compassionate at Unlocking The Body.They gave clear and helpful instructions, even before I told them of my neuro-divergent issues. They are mindful of the environment enough to have hand towels instead of paper towels for drying hands.Their massage therapists are well-experienced and kind. They are in-tune with your needs the moment you walk in, because their intake forms are so thorough. Honestly, I could write a book about how impressed I am with the place.Ill summarize with: thank you so much for having an amazing staff. Every single person at Unlocking The Body is a kind and understanding person full of genuine care for their patients. Just, thanks so very much!

The massage was excellent! Stephanie really knows whats shes doing! She worked out so many knots, and had me moving my neck in ways that I havent been able to move in years.

This place is awesome!! They have the best hours of operation, they are open Monday-Sunday and even have evening hours; they have appointments available at times no one else has. I have had appointments with a few different employees and have always left feeling A MILLION times better than when I came in. I have never left disappointed and I always come back for more. Once you start, you will not be able to stop coming here. Their $45 cash price cant be beat either. I recommend this place to EVERYONE I know.

I worked with Janelle to see if I could try manual lymphatic drainage massage on a chronically enlarged lymph node from a past infection. Not only was she very thorough, she also spoke with another specialist about how effective this approach would be. When I showed up for my next appointment she shared that although MLD is helpful for managing drainage of the area, the actual size of lymph nodes usually holds the shape it has taken. I really appreciated her expertise, seeking out more information on my behalf, and for being honest. She let me change my appointment that day to a less expensive therapy so that I saved money. If I have any more MLD needs I will definitely come back here. Thank you!

Ive been a client for three years. I love Jessica! Unfortunately the front desk staff has changed and they dont seem to understand that after meeting a deductible my insurance pays 100%. In addition to 12 massages covered yearly.For the past three years Ive had to fight to get the proper billing. 2015 I was able to get a refund after yet again bringing in the claim work and showing them that they owe me!!Today Was The Last Straw. THE 30 something BRUNETTE WORKING THE FRONT DESK NEEDS A NEW JOB!!. IM DONE. Mistakes happen but its your reaction that needs a more professional approach. ILL take my insurance and go were they have a front office person that is nice.

So dissatisfied with my experience here. I was in a car accident and due to lazy communication from the office they waited over a week to tell me they couldnt service me after saying they could. The one massage I paid for was really good but as far as the office and billing are concerned I would not recommend.

I have been frequenting Unlocking The Body for a couple of years and have had approximately 80 massages by 9 massage therapists here. I cant articulate strongly enough how professional and incredible these therapists are and how well run this place is.Collette, Stephanie and Lena in particular provide the combination of deep tissue massage without creating tension that I prefer. I have even learned to enjoy ashiatsu, where the therapist supports their weight while using their feet to provide deep tissue massage - particularly effective on tight or cramped leg muscles.

I cannot say enough about craniosacral therapy! My therapist is amazing! She is reaching areas of concern that traditional medicine forgot or wishes to placate me with pop a pill. No thank you, this energy work is exactly what I am needing.If the typical pod Floatation freaks ya out. Ya gotta try Unlockings!! Open, glass and purely blissful delight tailored just for me (yours would be perfect just for you).

It was like the bad side to town or something. Service was bad, during the massage and facial I could hear people talking. Not a relaxing environment and some chick walked around like she was jus plain mad at everyone, owner maybe? Not sure but its cheap and Im sure its a good fit for someone. Ive gone twice, same experience. Also, dont try the email system, they dont respond

It is extremely frustrating dealing with the front of house. Felt very mislead on two different occasions. I have spent a lot of money here and will never be coming back. One of the other comments nailed it on the head. You feel like cattle instead of a customer in pain looking for relief.

This place is the best. They are very booked,but the customer service is top notch and they have many skilled people practicing many different modalities. Theres someone here for anyone. Definitely worth the wait.

Amazing atmosphere! I had an awesome prenatal massage that was relaxing and relieved so much pain and tension that Id been feeling in my arms, neck, and shoulders.

They give good massages but I hate that they dont have online booking in 2022. People should be able to schedule and pay online.

The Therapists at Unlocking The Body have strong hands and very experienced technique. Most important of all, the listen to their clients.
