Coming in is always a great time. Chad always has a new product to recommend and is incredibly friendly, as is the rest of the staff! Everyone is very knowledgeable and always has the answers to my (sometimes many) questions.

Don’t give this place your money!Sells fake products for the highest prices i’ve ever seen.Go to any of the other 10 smoke shops on hillsborough. Corporate greed really got to high life!

I HAD A GODLY EXPERIENCE AT THIS STORE . May I just start by saying, this smoke shop was THE BEST one i have ever been to in NC. Great Products with a wider selection than anywhere else I could find on Hillsborough. I see a lot of people complaining about them not having a wide variety of products but I cant see how that is true. I have been going for a few months now and they have stuff Ive never even heard of and all of the staff are extremely helpful. Ive been to a lot of stores that are selling fake or just generally bad-quality products but this store never disappoints. One employee, Chad has helped me many times with finding the right product. These guys know their stuff, and this is definitely the best high-life store in the area.

I came in for glass and papers and Harley helped me out quickly and efficiently!

The worker that helped me Kemi was absolutely wonderful. Not only was he very knowledgeable on the products but even went as far as complementing my outfit. The environment is amazing

Called and asked specifically if they had puffco pro 3d chambers. I emphasized specifically on the peak pro and 3d chamber as I am used to smoke shops lacking product knowledge. I mentioned 3d and pro 5 times and the employee said yes it is available. I drove all the way out to the location to purchase said coil and was handed a peak pro chamber but not a 3d one. When I mentioned that I wanted the 3d chamber he seemed confused as if hes never heard of such a thing. They ended up not having what I needed . I asked nicely for them to pay a little more attention the next time as I drove out for nothing and was responded to with attitude saying it wasnt him on the phone. Lack of product knowledge and lack of respect is why this establishment deserves a 1 star rating. Take your business elsewhere.

I checked out High Life for the first time yesterday because I’ve heard so many good things about it. I planned to just look around for a few minutes, but I was surprised by how truly friendly and professional the store and staff was. I was immediately greeted by Connor, who talked with me and helped me through my whole visit. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything the store had to offer and made me feel really comfortable during my visit. Very impressed, will return soon!

They were doing helpful and nice! Came in 8/3 around noon and the guys working were fun and kind. Helped me with everything I needed.

Best staff ever! I have been doing business with them for a very long time. One example is my dog having cancer and they were very knowledgeable at the products they had to offer. The prices were very reasonable. After returning after a few times I began to recognize everyone by name and even the new employees recognized me with a warm welcome. Keith the manager and the total staff are the best of any place I have ever been. The whole staff deserves a 5 stars ✨ review.🤟🏾👏

Total Breath of Fresh air - everyone I’ve back to being Super Nice & helpful & lovely - I’ve had RA for abt 4 yrs & Kratom had been a God Send after Opting Out - of my own volition- of the he Toxic pain management Machine in American medicine currently bc of her opioid crisis & stores like Smoke hear hav been a God Send too 😇

I went into High Life yesterday in search of a new water piece and wow, all I have to say are great things. Because I’d always been a frequent customer at the chapel hill store, I decided to give this location a try. My partner and I were immediately greeted and assisted upon entering. I was being very picky and had many demands but the bearded gentlemen helping us was patient the entire time and made many helpful suggestions. Ultimately with the help of another employee, we created the perfect piece for me and our host even took the time to make sure everything matched (aesthetically). Everyone was sweet and attentive and I’m very happy with what I walked away with. My partner was also able to stock up on backwoods and filters. I will definitely be making the 25min drive from Durham to this location next time I need to make a trip to the smoke shop. Give them a stop by if you’re in the area.

Our first trip here and we already fell in love. Everyone is so open and friendly. Connor took the time to show us different products and we ended up getting more than we expected. This is a great shop for anyone wanting unique items. We will definitely be going back.

Jeff & Brandon were SO helpful! I went into the store not really knowing what I wanted, but they made me feel so at ease with all of their knowledge! They pulled out so many different things for me without any hesitation! I will definitely be back for any and all smoke shop needs!!

My husband and i came into the shop looking for a specific product, and the two guys working were so knowledgeable and helpful (sorry that we didnt get their names!) They spent time talking with us and explaining the pros and cons of different products so we could get the best option. We also got some really great incense! Thanks for the great service and good vibes!

Couple of years ago, this was a place I could go in and greet Andrew and the other guy ( forgot your name but I still like you dude). I got several CBD products and an honest assessment of products. Last time I went in there, it was like the place was run by bandits. Clean, but the selection has gone all in on Delta 8 products with no other cannabinoid variance. Employee I spoke to kept hands in her pockets, spoke very low, and acted like she was trying to get me out of there as quickly as possible. The second star was for the good memories I had here, otherwise it would have gotten one star.

Love this place and the people! They knew what they were talking about and could answer every question we had! We had 2 people help us the other night and had fun just chatting with them!

I had a friend recommend High Life to me and when I went in to have a look for myself I was immediately greeted Connor, a member of the staff. Connor was very helpful and assisted me when I had questions about products and explained everything really well. When I need anything I definitely know where I’ll go and will make sure to recommend the store to others.

Very friendly and helpful people and wide variety of options. Very patient and friendly with me despite my total lack of knowledge of many of the newer hemp products available.

Amazing shop! There’s so much cool stuff in there and a whole wall full of different types of incense. Connor helped me out with wonderful customer service, although the entire staff is friendly and helpful. However, be careful parking in the behind lot because the towing company, Unlimited Recovery, who owns the parking lot is very predatory. They wait for you to walk into any of the other stores on the street and then boot your car immediately. However, 10/10 still recommend the shop.

I bought a product for $35 did not work would not exchange it refund it or anything else. Typical Corporate, bunch of slugs.

My first time at High Life. I was helped by a gentleman by the name of Connor who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Walked in not really knowing what I wanted but was met with great customer service and help. 10/10 customer service and will for sure be back.

Horrible company, under paid workers, poor work environment, sales broken products and if your 72 you better have an ID with you or you cant but anything. ID requirements are ridiculous! After an employee quits they dont give them their last check and refuses to give them a number of who is in charge of pay. Company is over all a scam.

Definitely a dope shop especially if you can never decide on glass. Keith, Christol, Jeff and Conner all help me finally whittle it down to one lovey piece I use everyday. Overall super happy I made the short trip will be going back.

My friend told me about the shop and I decided to check it out. I was extremely impressed by the amount of staff who were willing to help me throughout my visit. Connor helped me & he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the products and helped me choose what was best for me.

Ive a customer at high life for going on two years now, its my favorite shop in Raleigh. The staff is super helpful and they really know their stuff, especially Christol. She should totally get a promotion.

Overall I’ve had a poor experience at this High Life location. I used to smoke cigarettes and would come in 2-3 times a week. I was there enough that I got to know the employees. One day I forgot my ID and was denied service even though I have a photo on my phone that scans. In my opinion, the employees should be empowered to use common sense, but no. Other negatives include the poor selection of vapes and their high prices.

Simply I come here for the off brand Juul Pods. I call ahead and ask about their stock. The staff is great and helpful. There is pay to park around back which is your best option if coming by vehicle. The prices are great!

The store sold me a defective unit that wouldnt charge I took it back the next day with the receipt and she wouldnt change it out for me. I dont understand how a store can have a no returns no exchanges policy for a defective unit that they sold me. Wouldnt go back again rather go to good guy down the street.

Before I get into my complaint I just want to say, in general, the shop off of Hillsborough Street in Raleigh, NC will not last long.So I purchased an expensive water pipe from them and approximately 2 weeks after I bought it the downstem broke. I understand that pieces break so I went into this shop and attempted to buy a stem of the right size so that I could replace it. Unfortunately, I didnt the buy the right size initially. Then I was told by the manager Megan (sp.) that I could not have an exchange. Even though the stem was the wrong size and never had been used (obviously).Considering the big purchase and just human decency, I thought more would have been done. The manager insisted that I should have known the right size and when I explained that the original was shattered and could not have been measured, she still insisted that I did something wrong.Overall, the service provided from Megan was unpleasant and I am urging you to formally look into this as I have already put in a formal complaint through your website. I just wanted to post on here so others could read about my experience and choose against using you all.
