I had an amazing experience here. It was my first time and was so pleasantly surprised with the sweetness of this place. I came on Mothers Day and I got a nice long soak in the tub. The massage by Skylar was truly wonderful. Despite my bank having problems with payment (was flagged for some reason) they were gracious enough to charge it the next day instead. I very much appreciate the hospitality and warmth received here. Thank you. 🙏

Our massages were great! We got the couples package but they deducted $20 because we could not use the Hot Springs our whole reason for wanting to come was ruined because they had no appointments available and the day that they did have an appointment available. The hot tub rooms were being flushed out with water and could not be used. If we had thought more about it, we would’ve waited to come because we only saved $20 off of the package for not being able to soak for an hour in the tubs which was our whole reason for wanting to get massages there. In future I would probably go elsewhere for a massage Because of the distance and extra cost of getting a massage at the Hot Springs we paid $280 total for a one hour massage each, and left $40 tips so our entire expenditure was $360 for one hour massage for two people. Much higher than we normally spend, but I would say the therapists did a great job and I would go back if I could go in the tubs next time. Don’t bother asking for any exceptions to their rules. I was hoping to pay the full price and come back for the soak another time, but they would not allow it. It’s a very interesting building and a historic site, and I would’ve liked to see more information about that or have been offered a tour but we were not offered that. They did kindly offer to throw in some free bath salts and give us the local price if we come back for a soak. So I can’t say anything about the mineral baths Until next time…

I had an AMAZING time at the spa. Im from out if state and came to pamper myself with a mineral Hot springs bath. I loved the place and decided to come back the next day to get a massage. Everything and everyone there was wonderful!

I absolutely love this place! The staff is so sweet and accommodating, the outdoor tub is where I always go and you can see the wild horses from the tub! Also I’ve done massages with Kiana and Rocky, they are both INCREDIBLE! I like to do the infrared sauna and then soak, it’s so amazing. This is my new healing spot! 🙏🏼❤️

A local hidden gem! If you go during the week for a service or a soak and youre local, do ask for your local discount before paying and do show your ID. I was here for a massage with Skyler and a soak in the green room. It was my first time in there, but I wish it was cleaner. It seemed a little dingy in there compared to the other rooms. I did try a custom scent supposed to help with my digestive system, and I will try it again next year. Ive been a loyal customer for years, and I have enjoyed my treatments and soaks here. Prior to this visit, I was in for my Mothers Day, and I was pampered for a detox special! I hope they run something like that again! I Ill be back! Thank you, Steamboat staff, for aiding and providing me a peaceful sanctuary! Ill be back sooner than later! I never stay away, too long!

I love this place! The tub tRooms are nice, with private showers in each room. The additions to the tubs smell divine! The staff is lovely the the tea is Blissful! Enjoy!

My family had to say goodbye to our 12.5 year old Yellow Lab Lucy on July 5th, and I took an hours soak in the outdoor tub in the dry heat on July 6th and it was Extremely healing! Thank you Steamboat Hot Springs Healing Center & Spa, namaste.

What can I say.... Absolutely love the hot springs. The private soak tubs are the best! Nothing like complete peace and relaxation! Had to go the monthly route before I went bankrupt over there.

This visit was a great way to cap off our vacation. It was a very relaxing soak in the mineral waters and the massages were top notch!

Staff are friendly and sweet! i like the nature feel view however it’s not what i expected, spa pool is small! 😞 pricey for an outdated old facility!

Set an appointment, booked two weeks in advance for a soak and a massage come to find out after traveling all the way here that they take it upon themselves to cancel my appointment, claiming to have called me and left me messages in regards to my appointment. I received one text message notification this morning, which I replied yes to to confirm and yet they still canceled my appointment. I used to come here frequently now they’ve just lost a customer. A frequent and regular customer at that.

This place is phenomenal! The sweetest bunch of people, everyone is super kind and always helpful. Iv been visiting steamboat for years and its going to be hard for them to get rid of me! Highly recommend a private soak ;)

Today was our first visit and we absolutely loved the experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly and glad to answer our questions prior to our trip. We reserved a private room for 1 hour which was plenty of time to enjoy a soak. The room had a nice sized tub (my husband and I fit comfortably) and a shower and each had a hot and cold spigot to control the temperature. It also had a little bench and hook to hang your things. Cold water and cold rags were also provided along with essential oils infused in the bath. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Been coming here since I moved to Reno 20 years ago. There really must be something in the water because I can take a pretty warm bath at home, but every time I leave here after an hours soak I feel amazing, and the feeling lasts for days.SHS is my favorite me thing to do.

Booked a private outdoor tub for mineral soaking. They offer free herbal tea and towels. Lydia the front desk is very friendly and would patiently explain their products when you asked.In comparison to Carson’s, steamboats has softer mineral water, need reservations in advance, has 3 private restrooms/dressing room for outdoor tubs, has sauna room (needs to inform front desk when arrived, $10 on top of the soaking pass), and has message service.Overall, it’s a great experience.

My friend and I visited for the Ultimate Spa day package ...the soak, mud wrap and massage were amazing however after we were on our way home I asked my friend how it went and she asked me if I got the dry brush tx. and we both realized that that was skipped by our two different therapists ... I reached out twice and have yet to hear back. I would recommend the spa ....just make sure that you get the services that you paid for.

Found this place by accident. Never really went to a place this quaint and unique. Absolutely amazingly knowledgeable friendly courteous staff. Beautiful landscape with Wild Horses everywhere if you do the outdoor pool. It truly rejuvenates you after a long week of work. I try to go every week if possible. Something truly magical about this place. Even alone or w a friend. Check it out you wont be disappointed.

My friend and I booked an outdoor soak here and it was wonderful! The outdoor pool is in a fenced garden and is the perfect temperature. Staff were friendly and professional. We appreciated the private individual restrooms as well as the neat historical building. I cant wait to come back and try one of their indoor soaking rooms.

Update: Yes, better hangers on the walls to keep your stuff dry.Had a good time here and will be back. Relaxing retreat with my mother. We had the private bath for an hour and then used the outdoor tub for half an hour. Upon coming in, a friendly person greeted us and checked us in. We saw a tea center where you can make yourself fresh tea with fresh herbs. You can make your own teabag with fresh tea spices and a good variety of choices. The water in the private bath was nice and hot. You can control the temperature of your bath. We had a great view of wild horses at the outdoor hot tub. My suggestion might be to have more hangers in the room. Have a big rack in each room with like five huge hangers on it for purses, bags, towels, clothes, etc. My other suggestion might be to remodel the rooms and get rid of tile and grout. New tubs with no grout or tile. I cant quite explain the look but remodeled houses do this to their bathrooms. They have tile going all the way to the top but it is very modern and has no grout. Its like a type of wall almost. My bathroom has it.

Charming historical building. Affordable. Bring your own everything. No towels or spa locker room amenities. They have one outdoor pool with a cold shower with a nice view of thestream, pastures and hills. The other pools are tiled tubs in private rooms. The 2 infrared saunas require bathing suits. The sulfur smell is mild. Midweek is very quiet. Highly recommended.

Theres hot springs, and then theres Steamboat Hot Springs. This place is tailor-made for relaxation!From the lightly-filtered water to the deep tubs [that are cleaned between each customer] to the super-relaxing massages, to the affordable price, you really cant go wrong here!Update: I highly recommend going during the winter, after dark, and going into the indigo or blue rooms. You wont regret it!

Cynthia at the front area so very special calm person with interesting knowledge of the area. I enjoyed the natural spring healing water and lucked out with getting Gordon Higginbotham as my masuse who was compleetly amazing.

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, mineral baths was perfect for relaxing. Each tub comes with a floating thermometer. Will be buying the pass to come back more often. Very affordable. Great place to relax single or a couple in private rooms.

One of my favorite spots in Reno. The water and ambiance is so relaxing and healing.

The services are wonderful however if you are looking for a peaceful quiet experience, it is very loud the staff does not follow the spa etiquette they ask of their customers when I politely inquired about the noise I was told it’s an old building then ignored . $300 to hear staff talk loudly outside your room about their personal life is disappointing. *Thank you for your kindness in reaching out and understanding my concerns. It is nice to have a friendly manager listen. I will return as I love the experience

Nice place for relaxing in hot springs water in private rooms. They check temp and require a face covering. If you forget, you can buy a mask from them. Also, need to being your own towel. Make sure to call ahead to make an appointment for the individual rooms. Theyve done some remodeling with cleaning up the tile grout and new windows. I used to come more often in the winter time and pre-COVID. But its nice to come relax once every other month or more often if you have time and money. Also, walls are kind of thin so you may hear some conversations. Doesnt bother me but Im sure it bothers some people.

Overall a really nice time. Perfect weather for the outside tub.

Great experience. Enjoyed a spa day with my friend here, as we visited from out of town. Both of us enjoyed our massage and the 30-minute soak afterwards. Which I highly recommend. It was a very rejuvenating experience.

Great unique experience. The place vibes 19 century resort with its private tile baths that run mineral water and you get a private room to yourself for a reasonable price, in contrast to many other hot springs resorts in the south west that dont offer that . Also a beautiful selection of quality loose leaf teas that are offered for free in the lobby. Definitely would love to come back there when Im in Nevada again

I have visited Steamboat Hot Springs several times on trips to Reno and reserved indoor bathing rooms. The staff is always accommodating, the facility is clean and relaxing and the water is some of the best available anywhere in the world. I can hardly imagine ways for this gem to improve.

Great hot springs with a historic vibe, and thats what I like most.I usually go for a soak only. The water is hot, of course clean, as the tub is filled for every guest. I have been several times and greatly recommend

The ambience begins when you arrive to a calm, inviting reception, are treated to artesian spring water, then welcomed into your private aromatherapy mineral hot tub room. After a relaxing cleanse you may indulge in a lavish signature massage. If you desire you can enjoy the steam room and outdoor spa tub.The service is so wonderful I have returned. I RECOMMEND the whole indulgence.

The road to the place is a little bumpy and the location itself is a little rustic but dont let that fool you this is an awesome place to relax soak .. and their signature massage will leave you feeling refreshed.. been there twice so far and both times I have left satisfied.. make sure to try their monthly special 👍

Me wife and I were treated to an excellent afternoon at Steamboat hot springs. From the moment we walked in and enjoyed our bath of essential oils and peace, serenity, it was a pleasure. Thank you for a well deserved break from parenting and the hustle of everyday life.

The outdoor space is no longer public due to “covid”. 3 years after the fact. I literally paid $50 for two of us to have a bath. If you pay for an hour, be aware half an hour of that time is spent just filling the bath!

No pictures but we had the best time. We use the blue room for soaking. We did a hour an that was a good amount of time for us.

Stayed in Tahoe and drove about an hour to this special Spa. We booked couple massages and the pricing included a 60 minute private mineral soak! We chose the blue room. Staff was fantastic and we left feeling so relaxed.

Wasnt sure what to expect, but oh my goodness! Magic is a word we would use to describe the talent here. I didnt mention but a couple areas of tension and the attention paid to my problem areas was very acute. We liked the house combo of essential oils added to the mineral soak. The bath was amazing as it was so calming and soothing! I got a little woozy as I got out of the soak and cooled a bit too quickly, but it was lovely. The staff was amazing, the setting is quiet and private, and the jacuzzi/sunbathing area was relaxing. Great place for a great value. Fun historic little gem. If youre wondering about this place, we would recommend them.

Had a great experience for my first time going to a hot springs

So hospital every single time I come here and I’ve been coming here for years! They are consistent in everything they do. Great, affordable way to wind down after a long day.

This is the best spa Ive been to in a really long time. Very pleasant staff and so welcoming. The tub room was tiled with a nice shower and plenty of space for sitting and storing your clothes and personal items. The tub is empty and you fill it yourself with fresh water. No bleach smells and as hot as you like. They even give you a salt/herb bag (with essential oils) for your soak. The tub is super big and inverted for maximum relaxation. Two people can fit very comfortably. They offer couples massage and the therapists are highly skilled and well trained. We felt so comfortable and at ease. I really felt like my therapist heard me and understood where my problem areas were. I only wished we had booked 90 minutes instead of 60. The staff really makes this place special. It was an experience Ill never forget and I hope we get a chance to go back soon!

I confess I was a little skeptical about going to a spa with everything that is going on in the world, but I am so glad I did it. Went to Steamboat Hot Springs for the first time and I love it. First of all, the staff was amazing and answered all of my questions, which was great. The room and tub were very clean what made me feel very comfortable to soak myself in the tub for over 45 minutes. Also the essential oils smelled so great and helped me relax even more. Then I had a great massage which helped take off all the stress out of my body.Truly recommend this spa and looking forward to come back again!

Great soak and massages! My wife and I had a shared soak and massages the other day. The page place was so peaceful, and the massages were excellent! Heres a tip, bring your own tub mat with suction cups to help you lie in the tub peacefully. The staff was super nice and the place was pretty quiet in the middle of the week. Well be back!

Poorly managed and that is reflected in poor communication and customer service. My husband and I booked a package with massage and private soak, we were very excited to try this place. They left a message the afternoon before to confirm our 10am appointment, it had snowed all day, but roads seemed fine. The next morning we got up and got on the road early knowing with snow it would take a little longer. 20 minutes before our appointment, I get a call from the receptionist letting me know she just got the go ahead to cancel appointments as the therapists were not able to get in. Not that I wish anyone to be unsafe, but how did they not know this prior to 20 minutes before our appointment. We were over halfway there, and the main roads were clear. Again, I want people to be safe. The other thing was the receptionist apologized but didnt offer to rebook us.Bottom line is, I havent used the services here, but I would book at your own risk and know that you wont be getting any customer service. Maybe drop in services are fine. We drove up to Virginia City instead.

We did the outdoor bath and private bath. Staff was very kind. The facility does need some work. My complaint though was how rough my massage was that left my back bruised all over. I purchased the signature massage, not deep tissue, and by that evening it hurt to lean my back against the car seat and bed. My massause used too much pressure and didnt ask if the pressure was ok until after I asked him to lighten up.

My boyfriend and I booked an afternoon of relaxation here on Sunday. Our initial impression was this was an old facility that is poorly maintained. The road in is very potted and in need of repair. The sidewalks, stairways and ceiling are literally falling apart. We were greeted by a nice woman who showed us to our private tub. The room was ok and the hot spring water felt good to soak in. We were respectfully prompted when it was time for our 90 minute massages and we moved into a quite couples room. My boyfriend was greeted by his masseuse and received a relaxing, quality massage. I had a completely different experience. My masseuse did not introduce himself or go thru the typical, get to know you, questions. Ive had over 100 massages in my lifetime ranging from. Deep tissue to Swedish, but never have I experienced the technique performed on me yesterday. I wont go into all the details, but I had to tell him 5 times to back off the pressure and to stop because he was hurting me. My back, neck and shoulders hurt today, not just soreness, but pain. Im also bruised along my spine, shoulder blades and back. Ive never bruised from a massage before. I highly recommend you go anywhere but here. The Atlantis and the GSR having amazing masseuse and spa rooms!

I have been soaking in their individual indoor tubs since 2013! I LOVE the way the the water feels while soaking in it and the way my skin feels afterwards AND how relaxed and invigorated my mind and body feels.The experience is therapeutic in so may ways. Ive also had a couples and individual massages there as well.Their service menu is extremely comprehensive providing physical, emotional and energetic healing modalities that support living a peacefully healthy lifestyle.

I purchased my wife a 30 minute soak and a 60 min massage. This place had very mixed reviews. So she was a little worried. One review mentioned how the service was as shoddy as the dilapidated road. We were a little put off by the road as well. It is worse than a lot of dirt roads in the area. When we arrived we were pleased with the rustic mission style of the buildings. The host greeted us with a warm smile and a positive attitude. My wife loved how relaxing the soak was and was overjoyed at how amazing her massage therapist, Cierra, was. We were really happy with our experience. We did, however, have one qualm. The baths are old white tile and have what appears to be staining near the water faucet. This was the only complaint. For the price the massage was well worth it but she will probably skip the soak. She did pique my interest and I will join her next time...I am looking forward to trying the soak for myself.

Very old school hot springs. The staff is amazing.Some maintenance would help like better ventilation in the hot tub rooms.We also enjoyed the healing Gong Bath...We shall return!

We really liked the little bit we got to see. The service was unbelievably bad. We had planned on spending a couple of hours but ended up leaving after our 60 min soak because we had no idea what we needed to ask for. I asked for a tour etc twice when we got there but the front desk girl could not be bothered. I think we will stick with Carson Hot Springs. At least they are happy to see their customers.

Perfect way to relax, rewind, and warm up apres ski. The mineral waters are awesome for muscle recovery and soreness. Also great for the soul. Stocked with everything you could need, and the staff is very kind and helpful. I also believe that the price is very fair.

I took my girlfriend to this place and she loved it. We got the Sweetheart Signature Special massage and soak for two with aroma. Everyone was very friendly. It was worth the money, I will be taking her again for her next birthday! The tub is big enough for two; we both turned the opposite way. We spent most of the day there.

My best friend and I were looking to pamper ourselves a bit and our normal spa was booked. I’ve always wanted to try Steamboat Hot Springs- we booked the mineral bath, massage, dry brush and mud wrap. I booked with Gordon and I have to say his massage was one of the best I’ve ever had!!I read some negative reviews but I enjoyed the venue- it’s very unique. It’s been there for so long and is a historical site which made it intriguing me- if those walls could talk!!I will definitely go back and I recommend Gordon to anyone!

My boyfriend and I were obsessed with this place. We loved the architecture and the history behind the building, and the woman working there even gave us a small tour and history lesson which we loved. We did the hot spring bath for two through Groupon which was only $25, which I consider to be a steal. The baths were plenty big, and could easily fit both of us despite my boyfriend being 65. My parents also did the large spa package, which they also claimed they loved. Overall we loved our experience and would definitely come more often we lived near by.

Confused about the tray and fake flowers in the tub room.Tub for 2 was not for 2. Hard tile with square corners.Water felt great but we couldnt get comfortable. We are fairly small people.Pretty nice staff.

The mineral soak was great. The massage was beyond awful. The technician agreed to wear a mask, but groaned, sighed, huffed and puffed through the massage, which was very poorly done. Massage definitely not worth the price. Beyond unprofessional. Strongly recommend firing that technician. If youre going to hold your customers hostage to a pre-paid and non-refundable (after 24hr before appointment window) deposit, you need to hire people who are professional and have been trained to do their job.

Beautifully decorated private hot tub rooms with showers. Great for a day to relax by yourself. You can bring your partner, but the tub does not really have enough room for both people to stretch out.Adjustable water temperature and essential oils make this a really wonderful soak.

DO NOT GO HERE. it is absolutely not worth it. Everything In there is falling apart/ molding. The sauna can fit maybe 4 people max, there is a small tub outside that can also only fit maybe for people. The receptionist tried to charge my card more than once for $98 but my card wouldnt accept it because she had already charged me. There is no way on Earth Im going back there. The staff speaks to you as though you are stupid and they dont tell you things that you need to know about what is included in what youre paying for and what is not. I paid for a private 60 min. Mineral soak and instead got a 5 min soak outside. Also if you do not tip they will kick you out or 86 you as the manager so kindly put it. This place is absolute not worth $200 we paid for what we got in return. I recommend people go else where if youre looking for a relaxing massage because you will not get it here. Also the street just to get there as terrible as the experience.

I went there with my girlfriend for the first time and did the mineral bath soak for an hour. It was absolutely amazing. The customer service was fantastic. We did a little tour before we went in to our private room. We had full privacy with our own bath and shower and the water was amazing and made our skin feel so good. I am definitely going back again!!

I had an AMAZING experience at Steamboat Hot Springs. Love the facility and their staff. The hot springs is wonderful, very relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone. It is totally worth checking out, if you are into nature and amazing calm views, this is the place!! When feeling stressed out I come to the Hot Spring to relax. I love choosing the color (green, blue, yellow, orange, red, purple) of the room. I also enjoy using their outdoor tub and sauna room. The layout of the facility is great and beautiful!! LOVE THIS PLACE!

If you are pregnant I highly recommend going somewhere else for your prenatal massage services. After coming to this hot springs for years I decided to try out the massage services after my husband had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately my experience was definitely the most disappointing massage I ever experienced. My masseuse was April and I can only chalk the experience up to paying $100 for someone to put lotion on me and for the services not to even last the scheduled time. There was zero pressure, I mean NONE. It seemed like she must have been distracted most of the massage as she consistently used a single hand and would leave it in one place for extended periods of time.I called immediately following my massage to express my disappointment only for the staff to ask if I would like to reschedule with someone else and say thanks for letting us know.I’ve had subpar massages before but nothing like this where I felt the need to even mention it to staff, it was again the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had getting a massage.I’ll always soak her but nothing more than that…

The only true hot spring in Reno! It is an older property and I personally feel like some updates are needed in the private tub rooms, hence the deduction of a star.The water does have sulfer so be prepared for that classic smell, but you do get a choice of essential oil to be added to your tub! 1 hour is $25 for 1! Cant really beat that! You are allowed to bring balt salts or essential oils as well as snacks and drinks (no alcohol or glass containers).It was very relaxing and just what I needed! Ill definitely be back!

The experience with a spa day with my mom was great. She loved her sugar scrub and my mud mask had my skin feeling like satin. I’ve even been back for other services.

Such an amazing experience. First time getting a massage (swedish) and boy was I impressed. Their private tub rooms are so perfect and relaxing. And the hospitality of the staff was worth the 5 stars alone. Highly recommend Steamboat if youre looking for a relaxing afternoon.

Was disappointed in out door tub, which can be reserved so isnt really communal unless it has not been reserved and is a standard sized hot tub, seating 6 if you dont mind touching.. The steam room is really a closet, fitting 3 people if your comfortable touching. The private tubs were nice but pricy for what you get. If youre going use a group on coupon and bring your own aroma therapy.

Drove out to the Spa with hopes to get a walk-in appointment, they were booked for the day but I was able to make book the very first appointment for the next day. They were very accommodating, extremely friendly, and the place is absolutely adorable. The soaking tubs are made completely out of tile so first thing in the morning in the winter they are a bit cold even with the hot water but the whole experience was ridiculously relaxing. My back was so out of whack and my masseuse was phenomenal.I will definitely be back!

It was a great first time experience. I paid 25$ for a 1 hour soak in a private bath room. The service was polite, I got in on time and left refreshed. I would bring extra towels, flip flops and your own after soak moisturizer.

My fiancée and I really enjoyed our experience here. The private rooms, too the outside area. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend the hour soak especially if you suffer from any chronic pain. As a fibromyalgia sufferer, after my hour I feel like a brand new human.

The places is creepy. There is a smell to the water and Air that made me very nauseous. The facilities are old and not in great condition. It looks frozen in time at 1979. Pleasant and accompanying receptionist. However I would not recommend this place to anyone. We were very disappointed and left well before our time was up. Twice the door behind me locked - the second time I was in the outside bath and I had to walk around the entire place to the front door in the dark.

The water is amazing. The tubs could be better. We had to sit on opposite sides or have me in front of my boyfriend. We arent big people. My boyfriend has big shoulders and he took up the whole back. It was hard to get out of the tubs as well. Expect the bare basic towels and aroma therapy was 5.00 extra. The good thing is the aches in our backs and knees were gone.

Would have got 5 stars but the outdoor drinking fountain didnt work. Nice upgrades to facility since we were there last. Clean and plenty of options to soak and relax.

This place is one of my sanctuaries. I am a massage therapist and need to take care of myself, so I may take care of my clients. I love coming here to soak and heal my body. The staff is always so helpful and sweet. I send my clients here as well to soak before or after a massage. I highly recommend you come here on a regular basis to help keep your mind, body, and spirit whole. I will be back soon. ❤️

An older building, but fell in love with how private and relaxing the environment is. Such a great place as a romantic date with a spouse. My favorite feature was the steam room and the oils that is provided with each bath.

Seems a little run down and the staff wasnt nice at all. No hello, how are you, when we left they didnt ask about our experience (knowing it was our first time) they continued to sit and talk about a date. Could here those at the front desk laughing very loud during what was supposed to be a relaxing experience... It was still nice and relaxing but idk if I would return

From the start great customer service. Me and My Wife were getting the mineral bath soak package for two, for our 22nd anniversary. It was an amazing experience. Dont judge a book by its cover. Try it out. Lots of packages and choices.

I recently had a wonderful experience with Steamboat Hot Springs. My Husband and I went in for a couples Soak and Couples Massage. From the minute we walked in we were treated like Royalty! The tub was hot and definitely big enough for the two of us and the massages were fabulous! You should check this place out if you have not already been in!

A nice change from the pretentious resort spa. Staff was super nice and helpful. The massage was fabulous! Unique to soak in a mineral bath. No frills, and a bit noisy at times, but otherwise a lovely experience.

This place is great to go to for a relaxing break from society. They are very understanding and accommodating for those who need anything. They do very good at making sure their facilities are kept clean, well maintained, and organised. I can’t wait to come back and have enjoyed my time there ever time I’ve gone. This was the most relaxing 3 hours Ive had on planet earth in a very long time. Upon arrival the mission bell was ringing it was 12 noon. The place is old and quaint its been there since the early 1800s. I soaked in a private tub for an hour and basked in the indigo light...each room has a different colored panel in the window...this in itself was a very nice experience....then I was called in by Susie for my 1 hour massage...she was nothing short of amazing...next I went outside and sat in the outdoor tub and soaked in the sun....and watched the tiny little birds go in and out of their bird house from my simple lounge chair on a grassy area surrounding the outdoor tub....I heard the bell ring three times and knew it was time to go.....this was 3 weeks ago and I am trying to book another appointment for today. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to heal and relax.

Loved this place! The staff is very informative and welcoming. We soaked in the blue room, used the outdoor pool and the steam room. Cant wait to come back and get a massage and hang out in the back along the river during summer!

This location is a lot closer to Reno than the Carson Hot Springs, but the tubs are a lot smaller (recommend for single use). However, they do add some aromatherapy and you can enjoy their outdoor pool at no extra cost. They also have massage therapy, light therapy, and they hold classes like yoga and martial arts.

What a Great Experience!!! Received a gift certificate from my son as my birthday present to have a private spa at this place. Unfortunately I had a health issue and had to have a surgery. Then I realized that this gift certificate has an expiration date. Since this is from Groupon and there still has the same deal on going. I called this place and a assistant manager wanted me to pay another $21 to use this gift card (full price is $45, the gift card is $24, but now there is the same deal on going for $28). I explained all these to the manager and hope still can use this (maybe pay the $4 difference for the Groupon). The answer is NO! I have to pay another $21 to use this (pay the full $45 price to use a $28 deal). Great management and service!!!!There are other places are much friendly and reasonable around Reno Carson area! Why bother this place!

Its always great to relax here and the tub rooms are really nice to just soak in and enjoy some peace. They have a membership price that makes them cheaper if you plan to soak in them a lot. Otherwise the cost is really reasonable.

To sit in the mineral water is very relaxing, the staff is friendly. Go on Google to get a price break. Me and my wife have been going there for over a year now. 👍👍 that is two thumbs up.

My husband and I have been long time clients of Steamboat Hot Springs. We love their couples massages, hot stone massages and tub soaks. This past year we had been looking for a wedding venue. After one in Tahoe fell through we went on their website to book a massage. It was here we noticed the addition of their chapel to the services. With one phone call and a meeting with Darlene we were off and running. Darlene was reassuring every step of the way and kept things perfectly in our budget. We were also working within a tight time frame due to a family member being ill. Darlene walked us through the chapel, food, cake, flowers, music, our guests, the wedding party and so on. No detail was left untouched. Darlene has done this in the past and it shows. Another staff member (Muriel) did our photos and flowers which were awesome. Our officiant was Amanda. You have a choice of her or her husband performing the ceremony. She was very open and kind about everything we wanted. She also has her own script prepared if you need guidance. Overall we highly recommend them for small intimate (and relaxing!) weddings.

Nick was amazing, I had hurt my upper back and neck prior to our appointment we had a couples massage and he really worked all the knots and aches out of my back to the point where it doesnt hurt at all anymore. Such a lovely guy too! I definitely recommend him and cierra worked wonders for my boyfriend too!

Felt amazing after leaving here. From the hot spring tub, the salt scrub, the awesome massage, and the steam room and the finishing oil soak bath. I felt relaxed and would visit it again when in that area.

This is the second time we get treated badly there. Not sure why, we paid and we were quite, ended up leaving early. Place is creepy now. Sierra Ville hotsprings is way better. Very chill and very kind.

Omg. Fantastic. Beautiful with a feel of 50s good home. All the staff are friendly, courteous, helpful, but not the least sterile or stuffy. Everything was extremely clean and smelled wonderful.

Scorching hot spring water,deep tubs.Great for relaxing and soaking away aches and pains. Needs a better place to hang your clothes. And the bath mats are gross. They offer scents for your tub which is nice.

The water was great! It had a silky feel to it. The private baths came with good size tile tub and a shower. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms are nice but not relaxing. Music is overbearing, constant, amounting to a headache. Poor ventilation on windows with no privacy screens. Uncomfortable tubs. Not worth the money.

Renos biggest little secret! Tucked away is this healing center packed with history and the most unique waters in America. These waters have amazing power! Soaking is just one of the amenities offered. You can also enjoy a massage or take classes from one of Nevadas own QiGong masters, who also offers Tai Chi and Body Mind Wellnes training.

Their soak rooms are what I live for!! The baths are huge and the water is nice and warm. The whole environment is super relaxing!!
