One of the best massages I’ve ever gotten in Richmond!! I picked the 1 hour service which was very firm and the certified massage therapist rubbed all of my knots in the lower back out. She was able to walk on my back and provided a lot of great stretching techniques into the hour as well. The whole store smelt amazing and was very clean unlike other places I’ve been to around the area. I would highly recommend this spa if you’re in need of a massage!! Definitely going back next weekend.

I have gotten a variety of different massages in the last year that i have loved, but it was my fault for not researching what this style of deep tissue massage entailed because this was a very confusing and uncomfortable experience. it was hard for me to get relaxed because the masseuse was also in and out of the room every 5-10 minutes to assist other customers. i’m happy that she focused on the problem area i mentioned but ended up going over the spot so many times that i grew painful and tense. when i communicated the need for a lighter pressure/that it was too much i was met with a light laugh and she would continue as it was before. i was not expecting the flowery spa like experience of like scents of serenity but i do wish there was a bit more communication about what was going on. like i said, my fault for not knowing what to expect, but i say all this to warn first time massage goers and people who prefer trauma-informed practitioners that this may not be for you.

Very kind and welcoming place. Clean and they will adjust the pressure to your desire. Employees are very professional and eager to help you find what’s best for you. They will focus on feet, neck, back or wherever you ask during the massage. I look forward to returning.

Best Massage I’ve ever had! I received a FULL body massage including hot stones for ONE HOUR in a clean comfortable relaxing space for $70! That’s insane! All employees were super kind and generous! They gave me candy and water and even tried to give me a discount! They worked super hard and had amazing energy! The service hours in Richmond are also unheard of! They open so late! I’m so grateful I found this place! I can’t wait to come again! They even gave me a punch card for after the next few times I get like half off! Love love love and recommend as a gift to a loved one or to treat yourself!

I was very happy with my massage. They got out knots in my back that I didnt realize was there. Also, even when I made a mistake with my appointment, they were accommodating and understanding. I like that I can make an appointment on their website as well. I will be coming back here.

Great massage place! Very professional with average prices. Excellent masseuses that focus on your instructions, but a couple of them speak limited English. Their table shower room has no steam in the room, but still a nice thing thats available.

My husband and I got a hot stone couples massage and let me tell you. It was great. I was a little skeptical about the women being able to do a good job because my husband and I are on the big side but these ladies showed and proved their skills. The massage was not rushed, they took their time, asked if we were ok several times and worked their magic. We left out feeling as if we had brand new bodies. The room was very cozy which helped us relax. It smelled like a hospital, very clean and sanitized. The music was very relaxing. I will try to make a trip here atleast once every 1 or 2 months, I work hard and deserve to be treated to a good ol massage and this is the place Id choose.

Absolutely the best experience possible! Very good for lower back pain from sitting for hours. Will back soon!! Highly recommend!!!

I want to start off by saying that the massages are phenomenal! They are very knowledgeable and will really focus on every knot.With that said, there’s a pretty tough language barrier so it makes communicating your needs as a customer a bit difficult. I scheduled 2 massages for my mom and I last friday. They made a mistake while booking and I received a call asking to move my appointment 30 minutes later. When we got there at the time of my new appointment, there was only 1 masseuse. I had to wait 45 minutes for another man to arrive. By the time he started on me, my moms massage was more than halfway done.It was really disappointing and I could tell they were also trying to figure out what to do. There was zero compensation for making me wait and even got upset when I was hesitant to tip (I still gave them $20 each). The massage was great and I would still go back. I just wish they would have communicated sooner that they didn’t have capacity before making me wait almost an hour and missing our dinner reservations.

This was an amazing massage. I was in Richmond for the day and had back pain so I saw the spa and walked in with no appointments. They were very professional and had an opening for a 1 hour massage. The spa is very clean and professional. My massage therapist took her time and was able to concentrate on the area of my back that had pain. She was one of the best therapists Ive visited. Definitely will repeat next time I am in Richmond.

Went for a couples massage. It was deep and therapeutic. The therapist checked in regularly on pressure. They work moslty with forearms and elbows which really gets the knots out! I highly recommend coming here

I have experienced several massages in my years but I have never been truly happy with them until yesterday. I had some upper hip pain that had been bothering me for about two weeks and nothing seemed to be helping. I asked Leah to concentrate on that area which she did but she walked on my back first, then went to work on everything. She performed a deep tissue massage with great strength for 90 minutes. I woke up this morning tender, but free of pain in my hip.I will certainly be back as this was the best massage I have experienced in over 20 years.

They were able to take me right away, which I greatly appreciated because I had a lot of neck/shoulder pain.The place is clean and very beautifully decorated, with a very tranquil environment.The staff is kind and very professional.You can have hot stone/hot towel included with the massage, which is very soothing and helps the muscles relax.Kelly was my masseuse and she has very strong hands! I explained to her the pain I was in and she worked very diligently in the area causing the problem until it loosened up, and the rest of the massage was really good too!I am definitely coming back to this place for more regular visits, and ill be recommending it to all my family and friends as well.

Best massage I have ever had. Not your typical massage but it was absolutely amazing. I need really firm pressure and I got REALLY firm pressure. Worked out all the knots and kinks in my muscles and left feeling so relaxed.Will return for sure

I thought the massage therapist was beating me up. But she was putting me back together. A 90 minute massage is the key to an in shape successful body alignment. I’m planning another real soon!!! I feel 100% better. Relaxed and Full of energy!!! I can honestly put my leg around my neck I’m so loose. Great work. Very professional and Private!!!

Ive been getting massages for about 15 years and this is my standard go to place in Richmond. They are excellent, professional, very clean and pleasant therapists capable of a great relaxation or will go as deep as I want/need. I notice a lot of couples getting massage here as well...

This is an excellent massage spa. I came in feeling tense and experiencing muscle soreness from. The lady did a great job of working out all my knots- she could feel where I was tight and and spent extra time working out those areas. I felt terrific afterwards. The place is very clean and professional - its a nice atmosphere. And the massage is one of the better Ive had.

Under new management I was greeted at the door with smile , great attitude, very professional , respectful. The massage room very clean. with a pleasant smell of fresh flowers. The staff was very nice and pleasant, they asked where was my problem area i told her my lower back the massage was great with some stretching which helped my lower back a lot feels much better. I will be returning soon to get another massage.

I had two massages by Emma two and 3 weeks ago. She is highly skilled. She did expert back walking and deep tissue combinations. She does stretches at end of massage that help my flexibility ( Great for my golf game!!). I can’t wait for her return on April 6th from vacation. I have been a customer for years and will continue to recommend because of Emma!

I havent really found A really good massage place. But this lady here put in some work. Loosened a lot of muscles in my back. She did excellent. My fault for not getting her name. But I went in Friday at 2: 30pm. And was done at 3:30. So yes... I definitely would recommend this place.

I’ve been a massage therapist for 10 years so I’m very picky about my massage. I also have scoliosis so I have a lot of back issues. This was by far the best massage I’ve ever had. She listened to me and worked hard to break up tight knots in my neck and shoulders. I will definitely be returning.

Just received an absolute great massage from Blue Moon. I have had a lot of massages in the past and this one has to be in the top 5. It was so good that I added a 30 minute foot massage to my 60 minute deep tissue massage. My feet have never felt so good. The staff was professional from start to finish. I will be back.

I am no stranger to deep tissue massage and back walking. I was hurting and lethargic all day. I decided to not go back to my usual spa. Asian massage spa was awesome. Very satisfying body work. They may have saved my weekend.

Only thing I didn’t care for was I requested a couples massage and when we got there the lady put us in two separate rooms, not quite a “Couples Massage”! But was an amazing massage by Jessica thank you for the amazing massage

Experience similar to others. Very ‘mechanical’ fast rubbing massage, door left open to the hallway I presume because the AC doesn’t work well inside the rooms. Girls talking Chinese to each other between the walls while massaging.My 90 minute massage cut short by 5 minutes. Which would not have been too bad had she not walked away 4 times during the massage to answer the front door customers walking in. Repeating “sorry-sorry” each time she came back 1-2min later. The topping was when I gave her a 14% tip at the end and she was literally offended pointing at her sign which read “20% tip SUGGESTED and APPRECIATED”. Ok next time make me feel appreciated and I’ll make you feel the same. I will not go back even if it was half price. Left frustrated, & not relaxed.

I have been to a few places in the rva and hands down this was an experience i’d want to do over and over again. Alice was amazing and she absolutely knew all the sore spots without me having to let her know. She put her back into the massage and i’d have to assume that the pressure she generated into the massage was super human. I went in as a sore man and came out of it feeling so relaxed. I’d definitely recommend alice and the massage salon!

Pros: friendly location. Good price for fairly good massage. Quick and easy. Friendly staff and pretty inside. Clean as well. Comfortable tables. If youre a business professional who hates appointments they welcome walk ins. They have good hours so you can fit one in later than some locations after work. They offer a variety of services as well.Con:They prefer cash instead of card. If you use a card ,you incur a fee(I dont mind but that could be a sticking point for some). If you use a card tip is applied before you recieve services (while this isnt unheard of it can limit the individual whos doing the massage to a certain degree. I.e. I would have tipped more but I really didnt know what to expect).I would recommend this place though if youre looking for a massage.

Great massage for the price so much better than the chains and you get a full hour massage instead and of just 50 mins. They also use hot stones at no additional charge. I highly recommend

The place is okay. They give good massage but often rob you out of 5-10min. They act as if they dont understand a word of English and they always ask for tip. Who earns a dollar a minute and the turn round ask for tip? They just seem rude all the way around, if you hear me... And the shower table is trash; where do you put you head? I had to hold my head up the whole time.

It is good but not to my expectations this time, the massager left the room 6 times to answer the phone and check on the new customers. This takes away your relaxation

Got a couples massage with my boyfriend. When we walked there was no receptionist we had to scream hello and a lady walked out and looked half sleep. Then during the massage one of the masseuse kept walking out to answer the phone at least 4 times. I wouldn’t recommend.

Asian massages are not like regular massages they use their elbow all the time and it doesnt feel so good, they are cheaper than a regular massage but the old saying you get what you pay for.

Decent massage but uncomfortable going again. As others have pointed out they ask for more tips even when tipping the standard 20%. Complaed that the owners dont pay them enough. What a shame since its very conviently located from work

What a great place to get a message. I have had a sore back for a while but feel better now. Nice clean place. The hot stones really helped out with my knots.

This was a very dull and mechanical massage. The attendant who also did the massage kept chewing gum the whole time. She also left the door partially open. That was unsettling. The masseuse didnt even mention they offered a table shower until I noticed at the end. She just looked bored and the whole experience was boring.

Always clean and friendly atmosphere. The staff knows their stuff when it comes to Asian massage therapy. Never been disappointed with the sincere efforts to make me feel like Im not wasting my money. Thanks guys.

New update: We were there at 1.40 pm and not late for 15 minutes Like what you said!!!So Unprofessional. We booked appointment for one and half hour, we called them to change our appointment from 1 pm to 1.30 pm and they said OK. As soon as we are at there, they said they can’t do one and half hour because we are too late. I don’t understand why she said we are too late while we clearly already called to reschedule it to 1.30 pm.

Michelle did a great job taking care or me, just got out the hospital, she went beyond she even tried to give me money back wich was even a bigger shock Def coming back

Great deep tissue massage. I’ve also had the back walking which is nice if you can handle deep pressure to your body.
