The Massage was a little intense, she used her elbow the entire time instead of her hands. Unprofessional environment, I heard staff farting loudly a few times. The biggest thing that made me uncomfortable was their attitude about the tip. I was giving them $10 tip but they demanded more and acted like it’s something that I owe them on top of the massage payment. Upon me telling her that I can’t do more as I didn’t like the massage that much she had a big frown on her face, her tone changed and she tore the receipt madly right after me signing the receipt. I would not go back there.

On a random Tuesday, I needed some me time and Groupon led me to this quiet & cozy massage office. I booked a 60 min session the same day. My massage therapist redeemed my voucher upon my arrival prior to my massage. She did a pretty decent job. My only concern was when I offered a cash tip, she insisted that I give more. I always tip service workers but I think it’s a bit unprofessional to make a demands on your customers.

First time to Yashu so I was able to use the first timer deal of 60 minutes full body with oil and hot stones for 49.99. Amy was my masseuse , let me tell you that she found all of the trouble spots and ended them. She was absolutely spot on. The massage went in different phases. The hot stones were awesome I made the appointment around 830am for a 10am spot. If you are looking for something that works I highly recommend this place. Also be prepared to do pay upfront and I suggest cash payments. Tip nicely. These people work hard!

The massage was good but they started my massage 15 minutes late after my appointment time. And she answered the phone 5 times booking appointments during the massage time. Than she told me how much I need to tip them, because they do hard work AFTER I paid over $100. I didnt go in there excepting a free massage, I paid good money for it. I think that was very rude demanding a tip and telling me how much it should be.

My friend and I booked massages the day before. Surprisingly, they had openings, which made me wonder about the place. Upon arriving, the receptionist charged us right away and brought us to our rooms. We both got 90-minute massages. Throughout my massage, I heard the receptionist book appointments. The walls are also very thin. We even heard voices from the office next door the entire time taking away from a zen experience. The lady I had was pretty good. However, I cant say the same about my friends masseuse. Turns out she started with one and ended up with a different lady, which happened to be the receptionist. While massaging my friend, she stopped to answer the phone several times and booked appointments. We were disappointed with the unprofessionalism and expected to have a better experience.

I recently visited YaShu Massage and unfortunately, my experience was far from relaxing. While the massage itself was adequate, I was extremely disappointed and uncomfortable when the staff aggressively harassed me for a tip after the session. It completely ruined the peaceful atmosphere and left me feeling pressured and uneasy. I expected a professional and respectful environment, but instead, I felt like I was being extorted for extra money. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to consider their options before patronizing this establishment.

Good experience overall and fabulous value.Not the typical deep tissue, which I had asked about on the phone and was expecting, but I didnt mind it. My husbands masseuse was attentive to his ask for high pressure on his marathon tired feet. The essential oil and hot stone 🪨 was very nice. Nice interior but sounds will be heard from the lobby/other rooms so if you prefer a very quiet area keep that in mind. They were able to accommodate a last minute appointment. Lovely ladies doing good work. Would recommend!

Had the best massage today at YaShu Massage! It was my first time and I can’t wait to come back! My masseuse was Angelina, I will be booking with her every time I come. I feel so relaxed. Thank you for the attentive care! The office and rooms are so clean. Very relaxing and comfortable environment.

My partner and I went for a 60 min couples massage that we purchased on Groupon. The establishment was clean and everyone was very kind and pleasant. Our massages were amazing! I had Kevin and he was wonderful. We will definitely be returning.

I enjoyed an amazing massage at Yashu Massage today. My body was very tired from work and I needed a lot of strength to relax me. My masseuse did it and made me experience unprecedented relaxation. I think I Will come back every week for a massage

I found this place on Groupon, I decided to treat my aunt and sister for their birthdays, which are a day apart. I called to make sure the appointment time was available and spoke to Mia, she asked more than once if I’d come and pay in person versus paying through Groupon and that she’d give the same price. I agreed.I selected the Couples massage for 95.99 and the singles massage for 59.00 both 1 hour with hot stones.Upon arrival Mia requested that I pay upfront before the service…I asked why, because it’s ALWAYS been my experience to pay after- just like in a nail salon… but I went ahead and did it.My Aunt was celebrating her 75th birthday, when we arrived she asked to use the restroom… and was directed to a lavatory which had a wide open side door attached that led to the sidewalk on the street along the side of the business! Open for ANYONE to just walk right in!!We proceeded with the massages- I shared a room with my aunt for the couples massage although I requested if we could have separate rooms and they agreed we could my aunt stated that we could share… in the end my massage was amazing, Mia massaged my aunt and she was not happy with hers. She stated that her neck was not done, and that most of the time was spent on her back but she had requested her legs and feet receive more attention. My sister enjoyed hers as well. Upon leaving, I gave a15$ tip… 5$ per masseuse… Mia asked if I could give at least $20!!I had to gently READ HER- and let her know that I’m aware I didn’t have to TIP ANYTHING!! And unfortunately her tip was not well earned. She caught herself and walked away stating that’s okay, as she scooped up that 15$… I would NEVER go back or recommend anyone else!I think Mia possibly doesnt normally do the massages and she possibly tried to get involved so that we all three could get done together- however near the end of the service she began taking calls and booking appointments while servicing my aunt, and speaking in her native language with my masseuse after my aunt asked a question or two. It was only obvious that she was talking about my aunt and it made us both a bit uncomfortable and was very unprofessional.I’d recommend Massage Heights on Del Paso Rd to anyone who wants an amazing experience all around with no complaints! Imo!

I rarely write reviews but this is an important one. YaShu has been a life saver for me especially with my lower back. I have had issues with my lower left side for a number of years now and after under six sessions with my massage therapist, I have had ZERO issues.The environment is amazing! Lots of parking and in one of the best areas in Sacrament (East Sac). I am always greeted warmly , authentically and I feel like they genuinely care about me at this establishment. The prices are affordable, the place is VERY clean and it has a SPA like vibe which is super relaxing. This is hands down one of the best massage experiences I have had in my life. I truly feel like I have been healed. My neck range of motion is five times better than it was, my left shoulder no longer gives me problems and my flexibility has increased tremendously. I also have much better performance when I workout with my trainer at the gym.The massage therapy at YaShu is sports athlete quality and has drastically improved my recovery from sport injuries and overall has helped build up my resilience. Over the years I have struggled to find a consistent massage therapist that can deliver the type of results I was looking for. YaShu has delivered the consistency and results I have been longing for and I am super grateful. I pray that they stay in business and continue to deliver this healing five star experience.

YaShu is amazing. Everyone is very kind, the ambiance is very clean and well taken care of. I got the combo massage - 30 min body, 30 min foot massage. My masseuse, Candy was great and very receptive to feedback, always asking me if things felt ok! All the knots in my body are gone and I definitely plan on coming back soon. Cannot recommend YaShu enough!

It was my first experience at YaShu I was disappointed in the lack of professional business behavior. First of all there is no privacy bc they have curtains instead of close doors when they give u a massage.They don’t ask u what areas u want massage. They don’t ask your health history to avoid injury’s. They don’t take precautions like other massage businesses would ask you. My massage was interrupted numerous times bc the associate would step out when a customer enter inside. The door had a bell so when a customer enters they step out to talk to customers. There is no one at front desk. They accept cash and encourage cash if u pay with another tender they charge u extra $1 to $2 dollars. Not comfortable at this place of business and will not go back.

My daughter wanted the spa special offered at $49,99 which we booked for her. We had to pay upfront including tip. They then pursued to rip us off and not honor the special spa package. They just provided a 30-minute massage, which would have cost less. Needless to say we will not return.

Im currently sitting in my car writing this review because Im so relaxed its probably not safe for me to drive-HA!A few things to keep in mind. This isnt a medical massage therapist space. If its medical, like any other medical need, do your research and make appointments with the appropriate caregiver. This isnt some bougie spa with crystal walls, lavender diffusers and cucumber waters. It is a relaxed, clean, quiet space with multiple private rooms. They dont have doors, but are closed off with curtains for privacy. They DO have soft lighting and very comfortable massage tables. It is exactly what it should be if youre looking for a massage.My masseuse was Holly. This woman had strong hands with a calculated touch and I felt the tension and knots melt away as she worked on my mess of a body. She asked if I wanted medium or hard pressure, she made sure my hair was out of the way so as not to get caught during her work. I fell asleep and drooled and she was gentle in waking me up to flip over.My husband gifted me a 90 minute massage and she started on time and worked to the very end, none of this 50 mins silliness that some places pull because they need the 10 minutes to flip the room for another guest. They were really good about letting me take my time and were so friendly and thanked me for coming.They are relatively new, and I highly recommend them if youre looking for strong, well experienced hands to work on your body and help it relax.Their prices are MORE than reasonable, and they do a great job. I heard many a massage guest come in and leave grateful and happy during my 90 mins and I plan on returning!

East Sac massages at YaShu!This legitimate, professional, impressively clean shop has a soothing spa atmosphere created by dim lights, calm music and trickling water sounds.My 1st massage was with Angelina, this time I had Harry. Both massuse obviously have extraordinary experience, training and knowledge evidenced by their skilled massage techniques.Theyre located at 51st and J and offer free parking in their lot.

I had the most amazing experience at YaShu today. I had the deep tissue massage with hot stones and I tell you I felt like I was floating when I left. I will be going back on a regular basis. 10/10 highly recommended!

I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage with hot stones and it was a very nice experience. The room was clean and relaxing and the massage therapists were thorough with all of our sore areas. I would recommend making an appointment!

My wife and I, received a couples massage from Amy and Kelly for our anniversary on 04/22/23. This was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. We will definitely be making this a regular spot to come back to to get a massage.

I tried out this place because they had a Groupon, only to find their Groupon prices are just their usual prices, making this experience a steal.I am accustomed to chains where 1 hour massage means 20 minutes of faffing around, 10 minutes waiting in the room, and 30 minutes of massage if youre lucky. So getting a full 60 minutes of attention felt downright luxurious. Angelina is obviously a practiced hand, and needed minimal direction to target all my sore spots. Hot stone and hot towel were included. I really cant say how much I was blown away by how great this place is.Id come back even if they raised their prices, and I hope they do. Massage envy is up to $90 now, and theyre no where near as good. Jump on this place before everyone finds out about them, and tip well.

Good massage, awful customer service. When I went to add a tip she said “that’s it?” And demanded I leave more. Tips are not required, I should have walked out.

Update: Groupon has contacted me and as I suspected they do not issue refunds as YaShu promised they would. Groupon will credit me for something else, however, I rarely use Groupon so who know when Ill use this $59. You lie YaShu as Im sure you knew Groupon would only issue a credit. You just wanted to take advantage and get more money knowing full well I would not get a refund.If I could rate -100 I would. I purchased a Groupon at cost of $59 for a $65 massage and scheduled a massage several days ahead letting them know I have a Groupon. When I arrived at their 5120 J street, Sacramento location, I was told they are not accepting Groupon because they are selling the business but they’ll give service for the same amount paid to them and to ask Groupon for a refund, problem is Groupon says look at merchant fine print for refunds. Their fine print only says after expiration the amount will be used towards full price of service. Groupon was unreachable by phone to see if I can get a refund nor did they respond to my so called live chat While I was at YaShu. YaShu then says I can get same service for $50. What! No guarantee from Groupon of a refund, so you already received $59 of mine from Groupon and you want me to pay $50 now. Must be out of your mind. Could have advised me that Groupon is no longer accepted when I called but you wait until I get there and pay again reeks a SCAM.

As a professional massage therapist, I am picky with who I get bodywork from. I started getting a service at Wellness of Life in this plaza And I saw them one of the times I was leaving and decided to stop in. I made an appointment and today was the appointment. Very excited I chose this location, the massage was amazing, and much needed. I will be coming for my weekly bodywork sessions for sure!

I purchased a Group-On for a massage for my wife. They wouldn’t honor it and made her pay $50. Completely unacceptable. They said to contact Group-On. Here’s a thought, take care of your customers.

I had a massage at Yashu this evening on 1 30 23 . I wish I would have asked the name of a gentleman that massaged me. He waa excellent. Like a lot of people I sit at a desk all day. Getting regular massages really helps with stiffness and soreness in my back and neck. I prefer doing a medium to deep tissue massage. The last time I had a massage was at a mega resort in Mexico that cost $200 plus. The massage I had today was equally as good if not better than the pretentious vacation massage. I will definitely be going back. I think the owner is the gal up front. See was very friendly and professional .

Loved my massage...every minute of it. The head and hot rocks massage with the hot towels at the end was wonderful. They even played special music for me. You can tell this team is experienced! I will definitely be coming back.

When I started getting back in the gym i needed a good massage and thank goodness i found this place. It was very clean, professional, and friendly! The technique is good for working out knots and my sore muscles, definitely is my new go-to spot. 👍

Highly not recommended as a result of health issues and they don’t pay attention to massage but other things. So if you want a clean massage please don’t waste time. I could barely smell her hands how dirty it and I told her to wash it.

This place does not honor its advertised prices both on Yelp and its website. The lady on the phone told us to come and show her the coupon. We got there and waited for 30 minutes only for her manager to tell us we would be called back later. Mind you we were there to get a massage right then. Then we were called back after we drove all the way home saying to come back, but only the advertised price would be given with no professional courtesy considering they put us through a stressful experience when we were coming to relax.

I went to YaShu for an hour massage. The environment is peaceful and relaxing and the employees are wonderful. The employees are very knowledgeable and the deep tissue massage followed by hot stones is very relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful environment and a relaxing massage.
