Free swing dance classes every Sunday at noon. Very beginner friendly. This is where I got into swing dance. Teachers are nice and inclusive. People are really friendly too. They also have jams for celebrations. Great place to drop by if you’re from out of town and look for somewhere to dance!

Theres a free beginner lesson at noon thats always a lot of fun. The social dancing is great - there are a lot of advanced dancers who know a wide variety of moves, as well as beginners getting some practice in. It can be a little tough to dance on the pavement, so wear forgiving shoes.

It was way busier than I thought it would be and we got lucky enough to show up on its 19th anniversary so there was a free potluck! Plus were world class dancers now so thats pretty sweet

Lots of fun watching people who know how to dance. Felt that the half-hour instruction was too fast and too short to really learn the steps.

There are few places in the world as special as this. Such a fun experience and a staple of life in this city. Good people coming together to dance.

The longest-running and the best lindy party outdoors. In the Bay Area - definitely. In California - highly likely. In the US - possibly.

Friendly people, lively music, great price (free, even the lesson!). Downsides: difficult parking, no nearby bathrooms, dancing on asphalt (ouch!)
