I Would Like Someone To Recommend Me Something Good Here. Cause I Order The Carne Asada Fries I Wasnt Impress Sorry But I Took It To Go

If I could give SJBG 0 stars I would. On my 21st birthday I decided to stop by this location. Less than 5 min after being let inside the guy that checked my ID told me I actually had to leave. He notified me that I wasn’t allowed inside because I had to wait until 24 hours had passed my birthday. In other words, I had to be at least 21 years and 1 day old. I will never return to this location. Poor customer service 👎🏽

Its 1:17 am Theres a blonde white woman working and she got us grabbed up and escorted out by security because she bumped into use with ice cups in her hand, and when my friend reacted she claimed we attacked her. My friend is Mexican and I am Black. She pushed her finger into my friends face and exclaimed that she was attacked, but even witnesses say the bartender bumped into us. I didn’t even react to her to quick to brush ice off me. They snatched my drinks and were very rude all because of a misunderstanding. The security guard was very rude and very aggressive and reluctantly to listen. The manager was very nice tho and assisted us but it was just unfortunate for that to happen.

Good music and its fun dancing in the back by the DJ booth. I dont drink alcohol but the non alcoholic beverage i ordered tasted great. I really felt in my element there with the screens playing clips from music festivals and good local music being played as well as the more mainstream songs.

We came by Saturday and came for a drink but if you are guy you will have a hard time getting a drink. I got lucky my wife was with me as they attended to her right away. Also they are strict if you plan on coming a bit drunk before arriving.

The female bartender ignored me, then the guy bartender ignored me. I was sober and polite just waiting my turn. They passed me 3 - 5 times until I finally said, hey can I get a drink? More time passed then the guy finally asked what I wanted. No tip for you sir. Get new bartenders with better customer service skills. They still charge cover. The lines are still way too long for the hype. Still the same ratchet crowd and college kids. Music has gotten worst. Small dance floor and dirty bathrooms. I stopped going here years ago, but was dragged this time around.

There was cover charge on a Tuesday!! Security is rude, i understand they have to be firm. Getting drinks wasnt too bad. Dj was good. Bathrooms were filthy. A whole block of cops lined up waiting outside waiting for this bar break. Just in front of this establishment actually standing in a line and observing these patrons exiting this bar only. Sooo......

A cover charge? At a typically college bar with poor college students... just no. Bar and Grill is on the map because its in the same vicinity as all of the other bars. Its not usually one of my favorites but I was out with friends who wanted to dance and this is one of the few bars that has a dance floor. Maybe Im just being upset about having a cover- I think its rude to charge cover when there are tons of other bars that are exactly the same within a couple of blocks. The drinks are OK, nothing different than any other bars in the area. The bar is huge with a lot of bartenders which is helpful on busy nights.

I Came to this place with co-workers for a drink after work. When I got to the door they looked at me and immediately said I couldnt come in because I have my wifes name tattooed on the back of my neck. I laughed and asked if he was serious and he said yes Im serious, you cant come in with a tattoo on your neck. I explained that it wasnt even gang related and not even visible from the front. He denied me again and ironically he had full a full sleeve tattoo on his arm. What type of establishment hires guys with tattoos only to tell paying customers they cant come in with tattoos. I was beyond embarrassed being that Im the General Manager at my work and I cant even get into this place with my team because my tattoo. This is 2017 how can you discriminate a guy over his wifes name. I cant believe that happened to me and someone should look into stuff like that. This is America.

All SJSU students you will get free entry on Tuesdays... Just keep your Towar ID with you and age proof. We get hard drinks like whiskey, taquila and rum for $3. Beer is still $7. Great music and one of the best night club in downtown.

This place can be hit or miss. The DJ plays decent music throughout the night and the drinks arent bad. Where it suffers is at times it feels like a bar solely for just turned 21 yesterday students.

I was kicked out for no damn reason? I didnt even have a drink in my hand. All i had was one drink the whole night and they kicked me out around 1 am. I even had friends inside and had to let then know i was kicked out. Probably because i didnt spend money there so they had to kick me out to make more room. Pretty messed up on the system they have. Also saw other reviews for getting kicked out for no reason. So if you wanna have a good time and not get kicked out, dont go here!!!

I liked this place until tonight. We walked in for thirty seconds and two bouncers come up to my friend and I because she tripped and said weve been behind you all night, you need to leave because you are too drunk how is that even possible when we just walked in?! We said we did nothing and then they grabbed us by the arms and literally dragged us outside. The bouncer that grabbed me was named Ernesto. I told him he was hurting me and he didnt listen. I have bruises on both arms now and I complained to the supervisor of SJBG. I hope the bouncers that grabbed us get fired because that was completely uncalled for. All my friend did was trip one time. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I felt like I was attacked tonight for no reason.

This has to be one of the best Bar and Grills in San Jose. The newly remodeled bar is very nice and modern. Drinks Specials are always going on and the food is great. I outdoor seating is nice even in winter!

A top spot for quality Bar food. Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

Good drink specials and plenty of big screens for game day. Pile of chicken nachos is enormous and delicious. Wings were too spicy but if thats your thing, youll enjoy them.

10 minutes before happy hour ended I was informed we cant order Cajun fries from the menu because there was a party here... hmmm. What does that even mean.. descent beer though, and alright service

One of the best in downtown san jose. Been here a lot times. Great drinks, awesome DJ. Weekends have cover charges if you are not a student.

Worst experience of my life, never have I felt such a radiance of racism/unfairness.. First night in San jose was immediately discriminated against. Me and another female was going out just park our car Walk to the door, handed the bouncer our license then he wanted my Credit card then he Didnt want to give me Back my license till I Had another proof of Income, Then proceeded to Flash his light in my face Told us never come back again WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!! NEVER WROTE A REVIEW TILL TODAY I WILL MAKE SURE THE WORLD KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Nothing special about this place a standard sports bar with lots of TVs and one large wall projection display. There is a parking next to it but its crazy expensive better drive a few hundreds feet and park at a cheaper place.

If youre looking for a dive bar, look no further. This is the bar equivalent of a college frat house. Sure, you can have a good time there, but Id recommend keeping the anti-bacterial lotion close by.

Theres a bouncer by the name of RUDY hes a complete morron! He thinks hes all that and kicks anyone out whenever he feels like it. I know him personally he used to be with one of my friends, and from what I heard he has a really tiny penis and thats why his ego gets so big when hes working there to overcompensate for whats missing in his pants! He acts like hes better than everyone, the power gets to his head because without his job he would be nothing! hes an awkward idiot that no one likes so he feels he needs to be a dick to everyone so he can feel better about himself..

One guy bartender was a problem for me since he was focused on one of the girls more than helping his coworkers with taking orders. Fun place to go tho and taco night was a plus

Bar food at this spot - yummy. Super delicious. The staff was very helpful and observant. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.

Terrible service. Place was dead (shouldve been a sign) service was inexcusably slow. Food was pretty good though. Cajin tots and chicken nachos were great quality.

100% ratchet. If you are in to that then by all means enjoy, but go in understanding you can buy a whole bottle of *insert alchohol of choice here* at Safeway for the price of one cup here.

This place is actually a ton of fun at night. It tends to get pretty crowded on fri/sat but still a good time.

Not forthcoming about prices and what items are on the happy hour menu. Did not have have enough staff to handle the number of clientele.

Very entertaining. Delicious drinks and variety of beer. I tried a watermelon IPA and loved it! The bar is super wide and there are also tables on the sides. At one point, the atmosphere even gave way to dancing. The DJ was quite accessible, we asked him for a couple of songs and he had no problem playing them.

6~8 Happy We discount is good. The pizza is salty and the hamburger is delicious because it is a grilled patty. The chicken is not good. The pizza is a little salty, but it gets better if you add pepperoni.

A little pricey... but other than that a good place to have a drink with loud music.Recommended for groups of friends.
