Steer clear unless you want to look like a clown! I made an appointment here after seeing an influencer post about it. It became clear they only value their influencer clients as they rescheduled my appointment multiple times (5+) after confirming. I saw Kali who botched my hair so horrifically, the top was streaked with red and brown stripes that ended with a harsh line into a block of pure orange hair. I told her at the salon I was seeing 3+ colors in my hair and she started gaslighting me saying she didn’t see that but we should schedule a revision. They rescheduled my revision 4 times and I told them I didn’t want to see the same girl who destroyed my hair. They had me send them a bunch of photos of my hair and then said it required too much time and effort for them to fix and they wouldn’t have time for me until October, over a month and a half after my original appointment. It’s clear that they reschedule their regular clients to fit in these influencers, and couldn’t care less about their botched work to fix it or give regular clients the time of day. An embarrassment of a salon.

New spot for me, but I love it. Parking can be tough but if you know, you know. Make sure you ask for Morgan.

Hairstylist Katie Malyn is AMAZING!!! She is seriously a gem I’m so glad I found her. It took me years to find a trustworthy hairstylist that does my hair perfect everytime. Highly highly recommend her not only for her talent but for her character as well. She is so sweet, honest, confident, and carries herself with such Grace. Cannot recommended her enough. Run do not walk.. book with Katie!!

Salty Mane is definitely one of my happy places. The atmosphere is AMAZING. You can see the beach and the space is designed so well. I feel so comfortable and pampered when I’m there.I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Liana for years and she’s the one I trust most in the world with my hair. She’s professional and no b.s. with a great eye and instinct.

I love the Salty Mane!!! It is a hip and soothing environment not to mention how much I LOVE my hair❤ My hair is fine, curly and before Liana Mia, nobody has ever perfected my color. Red is not easy but I am thrilled with what Liana has done with it! Thank you Salty Mane!!

I LOVE Liana and this salon. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I’ve been going to Liana at Salty Mane for over two years and I not only am I obsessed with my hair, but find myself looking for reasons to pop into the salon just to hangout. The staff are all so nice and greet you with a beverage when you arrive. When I originally came to Liana, my hair was very badly damaged from over processing. Liana took her time comforting me and working out a plan. I have always had long hair and am in front of the camera for my work so I restoring my hair is of the utmost importance. Liana *actually understands* when people say just an inch or I want to keep the length. I could leave a whole review on color, but I’ll let the photos attached speak for themselves. Liana is an artist and I always leave the salon with the most amazing color. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get. Strangers stop me to take pictures to show their stylists. (Yes, I’m serious.) I decided I wanted to try extensions and Liana worked with me to find the perfect match and length, with the least damage, I have never been happier with my hair or a salon. Thank you SO MUCH to Liana and the #saltysquad. Love you guys!!!Probably the only salon in the world where no matter which stylist you go to, you are guaranteed amazing results. Ive only had my hair highlighted by two people ever, one person in FL for about 1 year and now Lauren from Salty Mane Hair Salon. Ive seen Lauren twice so far and am so happy with the results!! I have naturally long blonde hair but like it lighter. Lauren does a fantastic job at getting the perfect blonde color, it blends so well and it grows out beautifully. I can space out my highlights every 4 months now compared to like 2-3 months prior when I was in FL. Also, I had an issue with my last colorist in FL where my hair would be sooo damaged afterwards, they said from the coloring process & being extremely tangled in the drain and I didnt know if that was normal since it was my only experience but after visiting Lauren and not having that problem at all, I now know that wasnt right or normal. My hair doesnt seem damaged at all from the way she colors and handles it. I am getting married soon and wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair. They use a lot of T3 hair styling tools, which I also use myself. They have all range of products, including Olaplex which I use everyday and love. Also, I love how cute the salon is, its in a great location in Santa Monica and is very clean and professional. I would highly recommend visiting Lauren at Salty Mane Hair Salon!!

A 60 minute facial with Ali=heaven. She did wonders for my skin, and I felt so well taken care of during my appointment and so refreshed afterwards. She is a highly skilled professional, but very warm and attentive to individual needs. I would go once a week if I could. Highly recommend. PS. Alis business is called Honey Flower by Ali but she is located within the Salty Mane Space.

Larissa saved my poor hair from a balayage gone wrong. The last girl at another salon in Hermosa seemed knew how to do blonde hair, but left my brunette hair with zebra stripes and different tones on the top and bottom half. I could not stand walking around like this and after 2 weeks I sought help at Salty Mane. Larissa was able to book me as soon as possible.My hair now looks beautiful, Ive gotten so many compliments and I no longer hide my hair in a bun! She also fixed my uneven haircut from the previous salon.I will definitely be going back for more of the magic she worked on my hair!

What an awesome addition to the neighborhood. Walking distance from where I live. Woman owned, locals too, zero attitude. Alyssa is wonderful and though I was scared she was going far after leaving another nearby salon. I was thrilled when she said her best friends place was opening. Perfect, right? Beautiful space, they do impressive work-- just check their instagrams.

I’ve been twice for full highlights. This second time of going I asked for a trim. A trim. I’ve got thin shoulder length hair, nothing fancy. I went to go check out and my price was much more than the first time. My trim was $140. ONE HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS FOR A TRIM. That’s just straight robbery. When I asked for a trim, there was no mention that it was going to be so crazy expensive. The stylist was decent, but we’re not talking NAHA winners in cutting here. Won’t be going again. Then - to have the audacity to have a tip screen with 20%+ percent on it on top of that… insanity. I’d understand if I had this insane makeover but we are talking vanilla trim.

Salty Mane is by far the best salon I have ever been to! It’s a one-stop-shop for all your beauty needs. Everyone who works there is so talented and the vibes are always positive! Highly recommend

Had a great experience here with them helping cut and stylize my now longer hair. Nice place/atmosphere. Worked with Sal who was really cool. Will be coming back and recommend it!
