Decent spot, clean, hygienic, friendly. Good set of masseurs and masseuses. Fairly priced. I like a deep tissue sports type massage. You can ask them to apply more pressure. You definitely come out more relaxed and loose.

This is a very difficult review to write, but after much consideration and giving the incident some space, I have come to the conclusion it is the right thing to do.Approximately one week ago, my wife visited Cha Spa on Montana in Santa Monica for a massage after a long day at work. She had been there multiple times before and had actually had the same masseuse I will be referring to (Tom) a few times over the last six months.He is an older male and came highly recommended by the spa management.During this massage, he became extremely inappropriate. He didn’t give the normal massage she had received multiple times before but my wife didn’t think too much about it. But then after a while he started to inappropriately touch her and then started to massage her nipples, which she put a stop to. This obviously stunned her and caused her to freeze up in disbelief wondering if she had done something wrong! Shortly after, he worked on her legs and then his hands moved up between her thighs and touched her privates. Again, she was stunned and froze for a moment, but then firmly instructed him to stop and just massage her shoulders. All along the way, he apologized in an “oh so sorry” manner.My wife is a beautiful, highly intelligent, extremely gentle and compassionate woman, and amazingly well-balanced on all fronts. She started to wonder what she had done but then realized this was nothing to do with her. She paid quickly and left. When she came home, she calmly worked through the incident and realized this is not for her to carry and felt it important to report the incident to the Cha Spa owners. She did this by ringing the spa aproximately an hour after she got home and spoke to the owner’s daughter-in-law, who was on the front desk and remembered her. To her credit, the young girl listened with compassion and surprise and promised she would pass this on to the owner. She also offered my wife a full refund, which my wife declined, as she said, “speaking up was not about the money.” My wifes phone call was about bringing this incident to the owner’s attention as it was extremely dangerous and highly inappropriate behavior by one of their employees.We haven’t heard anything back from Cha Spa reassuring that appropriate action had been taken. Obviously, this is her word against his, but I felt it was important to do my duty and share this warning because if it happened to a more vulnerable, less secure person, it has the potential to cause severe emotional damage. Luckily, my wife is strong and super well-balanced. My wife will obviously never go back, and I hope this serves as a suitable warning for others. Ladies if you decide to go there, request a female massage therapist. Obviously the lowest star i can give is one star otherwise it would have been zero.

Ive been coming here for a couple of years now. They have TONS of gel manicure colors. Nora, specifically, does an amazing glitter ombre that Im obsessed with (see pic). They also have a hard gel option which is great for traveling or if youre trying to grow out your nails. They also have the option to add a shoulder massage while your gels are soaking off.

They did a terrible job. The woman barely spent any time on my toes, left spots of my old red nail polish on and attempted to then paint over them with the new lighter color I had chosen. She didnt even put a top coat on. Then for my hands, they had bubbles in the polish and when I kindly told them they acted like they couldnt see it. I asked for a refund and left. Oh, and they got water all over my suede shoes. Just careless and not worth the money.

Was pretty disappointed with this place, especially for the price. Service and my mani and pedi were overall good, however my clear coat on my gel started peeling off within 2 hrs and the gel didnt seem to be completely dry underneath. Went back the next day and they tried to fix it by putting another clear coat on top of the already flaking coat until I told them that this wouldnt work and they needed to redo it completely or refund me which of course they couldnt do... So they agreed to redo it...only for it to happen again. Wasted lots of time and spent my money for nothing. Will not be going back.

30 minutes massages are amazing! Nails done here lasts over 3 weeks still look great!

I got a full body massage. It was marvelous! I’ll definitely be back!

Easily one of the worst and most uncomfortable massages of my life. First, they gave me a male masseuse without asking my preference and he proceeded to cough on me the entire hour. Disgusting. I asked him for no lower body - he did not listen. He abruptly left the room at one point without warning me and was gone for so long I wasn’t sure if the massage was over (it wasn’t but I wanted it to be). There’s more that I won’t even mention, but all of this might have been ok if the massage was actually good. I left angry and the opposite of relaxed and then was pressured into giving a tip while he stood there. Just pay more to go to The Now (or Vela on Pico for a similar but way better vibe). Thank me later. I will never go back here.

Disappointed with my experience here. Even though it wasn’t crowded, they rushed through my sister and I’s manicure/pedicure. There are also no signs anywhere that it is cash only. Additionally, there are no signs telling you that certain nail polishes are an additional $5. Would not recommend or return

I got a gorgeous and perfectly done gel manicure. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me, no problem. The ladies here are so nice and friendly! I love the huge selection of colors. My gel mani was finished in 30 minutes, which was wonderful. My nail stylist was careful with every nail and I am super pleased with the results.

Unfortunately, the second time I had a bad experience at this place. Had a mani pedi and the polish they put on to protect the nails chipped after a few days. I walked in and asked them to fix it. I was asked to pay to get it fixed. The manicure wasnt that great either. It is very overpriced as well. Sorry but cant give more than two stars.

A massage place thats OPEN NOW? Yes!!! And it was the best, most helpful massage I have ever had in a tent in a parking lot ;)If you need a massage--you should definitely try this place. Mine was more about working on stress knots than relaxing--but it was really helpful and the massuse had lots of helpful tricks to erase the speed bumps in my back.I love seeing businesses that are able to adopt to the times, and I would rather get a massage in a parking lot tent, then not at all.So, Im grateful and will return!Plan to get undressed in the tent, and there is not a lot of space to do this. Its still great!

Ive had excellent massages, and mani-pedi at this location. During the pandemic the outdoor massage area worked well. That said, I brought my own sheet and towels to be extra safe. That was my decision for my own peace of mind.Generally the space is very clean and the staff does great work.Personally I like to tip 20% - this is hard work so be generous.

Nice, inexpensive place to get a refreshing massage. It’s not a traditional massage where you have a private room so just make sure you’re familiar with this type of communal spa experience. Technicians are great. Place is very clean. I’ve never gotten my nails done here as I often do them at home but the whole facility is quite clean and nice. Nice way to unwind on a budget!

I’m very sorry but the pedicure and manicure service was TERRIBLE! It got over in just 15 min and such bad work done. The paint job was HORRIBLE! I asked them to wipe it off and went to another place to get my nails coloured. Manicure was extremely uncomfortable.The people were nice though.The massages here are excellent!

I did a hour combo massage and it was so good it put me to sleep haha. Friendly workers and really clean.

The environment is nice but it is really uncomfortable getting your nails done there. You sit very much upright with only a pillow to support your arms. The staff was okay, they werent very kind or accommodating, also I dont like the paint job at all which is what matters most. They didnt even paint to the bottom of my nail or make the paint even, not really worth it.

The massages are fantastic. Luckily they are open to 10 pm with last minute bookings. Highly recommend the 90 minute combination massage. Always fall sleep, even for a short bit...it is that relaxing.

Awful manicure!!! Very upset! I walked in, was seen quickly, and brought my own nail polish. They made me pay first- to which I really tipped nicely- and then she rushed my manicure and was looking away the whole time. The polish is lumpy, not even on the whol nail, the sides are totally botched and there’s nail polish all over my cuticles! I didn’t have time to ask her to redo them, so I left very upset! Waste of money and time!

When I was turned away from Cha Spa Wilshire, in spite of having an appointment, I went over to Cha Spa Montana, where they got me in right away even tho they were very busy! Kim, Rose & Helen took great care of me and I splurged on lots of extras. Will come up to this location from now on! Turns out this is where all the best staff from the other location are now. I guess Wilshire has a staffing issue. Hope theyll get out sorted out. Grateful for this location! Made my day!

Disappointed with my experience today. The ladies where rude and pretended they didnt speak English but the do and very well. There wasn’t anyone else in the place and they did a very bad rush job and my gel nails look bad. I won’t be going back.

Best Gel manicure ever! Cuticles were perfectly done and no lumps in the polish. Nails all filed to one perfect shape and size. Excellent service and tons of polish to chose from.

I have been several times and the last 2x when I have been w my husband We have been offended by their pushiness to add on services such as callous removal and extra time for foot massage. It’s almost as if the shame you into requesting more services. Highly unprofessional.

I received a one hour massage from Sophia and it was best massage Ive ever had. Shes very intuitive and much much stronger than she looks. I highly recommend that you try a massage with her.

Not at all private or luxe, but its cheap -- I get the point of a value spa. But my massage therapist LEFT THE CURTAIN OPEN for at least half our session, and my cubby was by the FRONT DOOR. Heard absolutely every noise, and people were having discussions in front of me throughout. Worse, the massage was forgettable. Never again.

Neat clean efficient and a excellent professional massage. Not a lot of frills hear youre essentially swaddled on a hospital bed with hospital curtain drawn around you.a strong occasionally too deep tissue rubdown runner after a long bike ride this place literally hit the spot

It isnt luxurious, but the deep tissue massage I had was very, very well done and professional.

Do not get a massage here. It was so rough I had bruises on my back and had a difficult time leaning back in a chair and sleeping on my back.

It was extremely rushed. My manicure was done in 5 min. Not best quality. Frustrating

Wouldnt see me at 9:00 when the hours say they are open until 10. I called and they sent me to the other cha spa location about a mile or so away and they were not open. It was very upsetting to me.

Small location. Scheduled massage, overbooked, waited and still couldnt be seen. But staff friendly and looked clean.
