Omg where to start? I came in on a Saturday morning and to my surprise there was a DJ and great music playing. The food was delicious, priced perfectly for what you get. I had bottomless mimosas and they were scrumptious. Angelo and Ashley took great care of my group. I ordered the Mac n cheese which was a perfect compliment to get the mimosas down. 5 stars would definitely recommend coming here for brunch with friends!
The best bottomless brunch! We don’t have stuff like this up in Canada really, and I was not expecting it to be such a vibe! I saw a lot of stuff online about the food and drinks, but the atmosphere was an epic party with a dj and they had the football game on too! I had so much fun and really enjoyed my meal!
We arrived for lunch and the staff was great. Good service and cocktails. Food was OK. Had to send French fries back because they were cold. So, didnt get to eat with my burger. The restroom was disgusting! Surprised especially since we were there for lunch and not a late party night. Even still, restrooms need to be sanitary, and the restroom was far from it.
After a fun team building in Old Town our group took over a couple patio tables. Good overhead heater when we were chilly but it was a nice night for early December. Not real busy so we didnt wait long on anything. I like the open air geek to the inside with a large colorful mural. Outside was lit up with string lights. Fun atmosphere asking the main road. Drinks were a little disappointing...spendier than the old bars up the road but thats common for these trendy hangouts. We shared many apps and then enjoyed dinner... all was pretty good. Great spot for a group of 8 girls
This place was not it. It was way too hot. The table and seats felt sticky. It was okay when we got there, then they decided to open up every window and door. Its 115 degrees outside. The bathrooms were way too hot in there. Your clothes would stick to you.Food was nothing worth the cost. The drinks didnt taste like they had any alcohol in them. I feel like I got ripped off here. I do not recommend it.
In town for spring training and was looking for a place for a few beers and dinner. Saw they had quite a few TVs with sports on so went in. It was kind of empty and now I know why. I saw the menu and it seemed to be a higher price point for bar food but at that point I figured I was already there so ordered the hot chicken breast sandwich and not being a fan of mustards or cole slaw ordered them without. It still was supposed to come with pickles and figured it might have a few other condiments but what I got was basically two chicken tenders on a bun for $18. Asked for BBQ sauce and was told they don’t have any and was offered blue cheese or ranch. They did bring me pickles and I did question the two chicken tender sandwich. When the bartender came back with the pickles she did say they were comping the sandwich as I was right what was served was not appropriate. I didn’t expect or ask them to remove the sandwich from the bill but was appreciated.
We had a reservation for Sunday brunch, expecting a fun boozy brunch, but the environment was quite dead. From the moment we checked in and seated, the waitresses were already quite uninviting and honestly, not aware and seemed hung over themselves. So much so that I ordered a biscuits and gravy, waited over 45 min for my food while everyone else had theirs. I finally had to track the waitress down to alert her, and she didn’t even know what I ordered or what was missing from the table. I had explained what we ordered numerous times to finally have the food arrive later, and quite cold, let alone not tasty at all. Advertised as the “hopping American pub with a party vibe”, but I honestly could not agree.
The best part was the Expresso Martinis, but at 10 a.m. on a Saturday, it was so loud we could not talk or hear to order. There was a fight at the bar, and we could not find our waitress. Bachelorettes were walking by throwing things inside at people, so it was out of control. After 10 years of going there and referring it as an event planner, I probably will not go back. Our food was very good, though—kudos to the Chef.
Soooo! I was pleasantly surprised. First the staff is super friendly and nice. Responsive and attentive with a smile on their face.My burger I thought was really great!! I wasn’t expecting it to be so juicy! I mean seriously off the charts. I just wish my bun was better and survived LOL. It needs a stronger bun to hold up to everything. The appetizers were OK. Honestly nothing exciting at all. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Cauliflower bites. They were OK. I wouldn’t order them again. The cheese sauce is great also. But I would for sure go back for the burger. Also they have soooo many screens and a huge huge one indoors.
I had a great experience here! Came for breakfast and the interaction between myself and the employees was very pleasant. Both Angelo and Zoe were great behind the bar. I Also noticed management kitchen staff communicated very well!! Definitely great experience! As a business owner myself it was great to see great professionalism all around. I’ll definitely come back!
Service was amazing, what a great vibe. I would highly recommend it for any major fight, sporting event, they really have all the TVs set up really well, and the staff is on point. The manager came around and asked us how our experience was, the bartenders kept great iContact with us. Several waitresses worked together to make our experience that much better. We started at a small table, and when more friends arrived, they let us move up to a booth With no question. I will definitely be returning it and wanted to thank the RnR staff for an excellent experience. Thank you I highly recommend to all friends and family. Great brunch experience.
The chicken tacos were a bit bland and very dry.The chili fries were the best item. The steak tacos were only a smidge better.Bartender are absolutely gorgeous and super attentive! Drinks were great.
The first time I ever had wings that represented to me as lollipop wings. Was here. The atmosphere is pretty cool. I’ve only been here late in the evening and I didn’t have too bad of an experience. Nothing really complain about though.
Rnr recently became one of my favorite places to brunch or come in for lunch. Everyone there is amazing and so fun and makes you feel so welcome. Had Angelo behind the bar a couple times and have never laughed harder. Def recommend.
It was a cool place to walk into! Very open with high ceilings!! A projector had the game on and it was HUGE!! Right over the DJ!!I will say if you want to talk, you might want to sit a little further from the DJ so you can hear each other but it wasn’t that bad! The DJ was good and played great music! We sat in a booth and it was big enough to fit 6 adults! The booth next to us was the same size but a little higher up and there also were some high tops in between us and the bar so it was nice seating! The nachos were delicious! I ordered the Shrimp Tacos with Street Corn! The street corn was amazing I couldn’t eat it fast though and the tacos were also delicious! I also tried a bite of my husband’s sandwich I believe it was a Turkey Club and that was also yummy!! Others at our table got the Sliders, a salad and the Reuben and it all looked yummy!!!Great service too!! Friendly staff!!
My first time coming to RNR and the food and staff where great! Angelo and Aiden where my Bartenders and they did a great job. They made me one of the best espresso martinis I have ever had. I highly recommend this place!
This place opens early for Scottsdale. Old downtown doesnt get going till 4pm but I found this place conveniently open for lunch and Ive been there twice for beer and salads. Great beers, microbrews and local ales. The salads are deluxe: apple gorgonzola and salmon add on was just one of many choices. Good service.
Stopped in to watch some UFC and was UFC is what i got! TVs everywhere and a huge screen up front. This place is not overly sized so the service was fast and very friendly throughout the evening. I ate some of the steak tacos with a couple of cold beers and enjoyed the fights woth some of the friendly patrons. Great place for sports for sure!
My favorite brunch place! Always fun & service is always great. Trevi was our sever this time & she was wonderful!
So, we picked this place because it was close to the hotel. We saw gastropub in Google and thought ok we can do this. Mind you it was Thursday night football. There was definitely a crowd here so we thought it might be a unique gastropub. There are tvs all over, so watching a game isnt a problem. The establishment was clean and the wait staff seemed friendly even our waitress. My friend ordered 1 beer when we first arrived. I dont recall to the minute how long it took but i firmly believe it was 10+ minutes for him to get his beer. He said it was longer. To the waitresses defense, the order never go put into the system. Whos fault was that? I guess well never know. Next we ordered. The waitress offered some suggestions which i appreciated. Between ordering and receiving our food i waited a substantial amount of time for my water to be refilled. I only drank water, and being that Im in the middle of the desert, water is important. I already deduct 1 star if my drink goes empty for a substantial amount of time. I dont hide my water glass, i put it on the edge so it can be seen. Next, the prices were average for the environment we were in. However, there is a disparity of cost versus the amount of food on your plate. Definitely high food costs. Bummer. I enjoyed my food but my friend didnt enjoy his even though it looked decent. I tried his parmesan chips, no parmesan. Strange. So, if yoy are looking for a place where it is really loud and hard to hear conversations at the table you are sitting at and you dont mind waiting for your drinks at a place that doesnt really offer a unique gastropub experience, and you dont mind spending a good amount of money for a little product, than this is your place.I do not recommend this establishment.
Cool sports bar, great big screen on the wall, very cute staff and friendly atmosphere. Interesting menu. Try a pretzel bites with cheese bum and chicken lollipops for appetizer. Adding salmon to the salad was good idea, for a bar food the salmon was very tender and juicy. Good place to bring a bunch of friends.
We really enjoyed our time at R&R. The atmosphere was great, staff was friendly and the espresso martini was fantastic.
This used to be one of our favorite stops in Old Town. Unfortunately, it appears to be going down hill. The bartenders seem to be abrupt and impersonal. The food is expensive and not worth the price.
Whoa! This place has gone downhill!!! They have a brunch menu that sucks! No Burgers, just a hangoverburger with an egg.Really terrible and my food came cold. Server was very nice.
Do not recommend. We (group of 3) arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and were immediately seated. One member of our group had to use the restroom and it was dirty so they decided to pass. Our waitress came to get our drink orders and got 2 out of 3 brought back. We placed our food order and began to wait. About 40 mins pass for 2 salads and we go to find our waitress to ask about our food. They tell us they didnt know when it would come so we asked the bartender to cancel. Food came out in a few minutes after that and they also sent the manager over. We tried to explain that it had been over 40 mins for 2 salads and he said our ticket was entered (20 mins ago). Waitress forgot to put in ticket I guess but instead of trying to resolve situation he began arguing with our table. He said that we can eat our food since it was here or he can take away. After a few more comments from him, we told him he could take away. He removed from check by saying “customer didn’t like” which was not the case as we didn’t even try it.
It was a very nice place to eat. Parking was easily accessible. We sat ourselves and choose to sit outside. We got attend to quickly. The menu was easily accessible. The waiter was very nice. She took our drink orders then came back to take our food order. I ordered the breakfast burrito with no meat and coffee as beverage. Our drinks and food came fairly quickly. I enjoyed my meal. My food was neatly displayed on the plate. Although we sat outside, it wasnt very loud or crowded. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming. Customer service is a 10/10. Definitely recommend!!
The pancakes with fruit were disappointing. Three slices of strawberry, three blueberries, and a blackberry and a half. Also one tab of butter. Thats just cheap not worth what they are charging.
My first time eating here and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. All ages and diversity at this place. There was no negativity here just people enjoying the afternoon watching the rain and listening to thunder. Ms. Hayley was our server and she was awesome, very polite and informative. Even though the restaurant was very busy she continued to be on top of her game. By far one of the best servers I’ve had. Thank you Ms. Hayley
Karissa was AMAZING!!! Had great recommendations for food, never let any of our drinks go empty and was super nice the entire time we dined!! 10/10 for her!!
The wait staff is very nice but after we received our food they disappeared. Our food was over cooked and not worth the $20 a plate we paid. Better for a party atmosphere not a family dinner.
This place’s atmosphere is different from anywhere other. the fact they check on us ever 5 minutes is so unique. to put it lightly they have the most goob. carrots are dry tho :/ but it’s chill
We went for brunch on Saturday morning. Service was ok, probably the best part about our visit. Music was 96+ decibels. We only know this, because apple watches were alerting us that it was too loud. You have to scream to talk to people in your group that are directly next to you. Food was so blah. No flavor. Nothing special. Potatoes were dry and cold. Most of my group barely touched their food. Drinks were awful. Sangria didnt even look like sangria. It was almost clear. Someone ordered a margarita, and Im not sure what they even got. Looked the same as the sangria, but in a different glass. The mimosas were weak and tasted super cheap. Definitely not a place we will come back. Not our vibe. If you like damaging your eardrums, weak drinks, and flavorless food, this is your place. If not, I would suggest trying another spot.
Place order for breakfast. After waiting 50 minutes with no update a manager stops by to tell us our order was lost in kitchen and that it would be made shortly. Bacon was not prepared as requested. Overall a disappointing visit. No additional comment from management nor adjustment on the ticket. Considering promoted as best brunch in Scottsdale, I can’t say as much for the service. Missed opportunity.
The food was really good, the drinks were delicious. Very fun atmosphere. Went on a Sunday at noon, very packed. Waited two hours to get seated but we had fun with the crowd at the bar. Live DJ, we had a great waitress that made sure we were taken care of. Ps. Their shrimp tacos actually have shrimp! unlike most restaurants, RnR is not stingy with the shrimp!
Karissa was hands down the best server! Very attentive for how crowded it was. Brings great energy to make the experience that much better.
I went to this bar a little bit later in the evening but I really didnt enjoy it. I drank my single drink, tipped the bartender, and then went to another nearby bar to spend some time. The drink was a little bit more expensive than nearby bars, the service was pretty slow and disinterested. The place looks like it could be great, but something is definitely being missed currently. Not a place I would recommend
Great atmosphere, decent service garbage food and super slow.kitchen. took about an hour for boneless wings. All breading and just a little dried out chicken. Also $10 for happy dad seltzer. Total scam. We wont be back.

Food was decent with no wait to sit. If youre a smaller group dont expect to see much of the wait staff. They spent most of the time with larger groups and rarely stopped by our table. Water and beer were both empty for some time. Appetizers also came out with the main course. Music is also very loud like eating dinner in a night club.
The server was friendly we sat at the bar the food came quickly and was warm (:
Server was good, appreciated the effort with a big group.Food was disappointing. Steak was overdone and chicken was dry.
Service was great. Lunch was delicious. I would go back for sure.
The wait was extremely long for Sunday brunch. Had to wait for an hour an a half after arriving at 1:30.However, the food was really good our server was awesome, and we got treated to a mini Waka Flocka Flame concert as he happened to stop in for brunch! After the long wait, I must say it was a great party atmosphere for Sunday funday! So if youre looking to get wild on a Sunday there probably isnt a better place!
The waitress was Horrible she never came and asked us if everything was OK if we needed something we would have to wave her down and the napkins we asked for were paper towels!!!
There wasnt anything bad about my experience and maybe I didnt understand the plate, but it just felt underwhelming. 3 tortilla shells with some carnitas placed inside. Again, nothing bad, and I had a nice table where we could enjoy Old Town Scottsdale, but didnt get as hyped about the dinner as I usually do when eating! Youve seen my reviews ; ]
Staff is outstanding. We arrived 30min before close and they were willing to let us order food. The GM stopped to ask us how was everything. Great Place!!!
Came to order a couple drinks and grab lunch. Sat at the bar, took awhile to be greeted. Wanted to order two burgers. I only needed a modification of no bun and my sister wanted hers plain but add guac. The bartender told us we are not allowed to take items off but can only add items on, such as guac, sautéed mushrooms, etc. for a certain price. She also told us we can’t modify on the brunch menu, however the menu specifically states “available from the main menu.” The menu also does not state anywhere on there “no modifications please.” She stated that the kitchen staff only knows how to make items a certain way and doesn’t know how to make modifications. We were not impressed. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere.
Had great service and drinks. The atmosphere is incredible. Great patio but could use some swamp coolers instead of fans blowing hot air. We didnt eat there only had drinks. We will be going back to try the food soon.
Our server was exceptional Katelyn was super in making sure our drinks were filled and we had everything we needed. Always had a smile and super polite. Definitely will return.
This place is confused with what it wants to be, looks like a sports bar with all the TV but decor and the DJ make for a night club atmosphere. Went in on a Saturday night and it was dead which wasn’t surprising because it seems out of place in downtown Scottsdale. It’s a shame, good concept that might work for a larger city setting like a Chicago/LA/New York.
It was a great experience withGreat service. The food was also amazing.
Went to RnR for some drinks and it had an amazing vibe and really chill atmosphere! We had Brent (whom made some amazing drinks) as our bartender and he introduced us to the other bartenders working that day. He also went above and beyond in providing me other places to check out while Im here visiting. I will definitely be coming back!
Food was excellent. We were in a group of 8 and when we wanted to pay our bill, we asked the server to divide up the check 4 ways. She told us that she could only divide in 2. If this is the case, it should be stated on Open Table when reserving and should be mentioned when ordering so people can specify who is on what tab.

The service at RnR Gastropub was so horrible it was appalling. We waited for 20 minutes before our “server” even came by. The drinks were terrible. Tasted like there wasn’t any alcohol in them. She never put in the order for my food. I understand things happen, but I had to ask about my food 3 times. Three different people just said, “Let me check on it.” It took so long the rest of my table finished their mediocre, over priced food before I ever heard back, and I had to cancel my order. I understand things happen, but not once did our “server” apologize or offer any solution. This place needs new management. It’s only busy because it happens to be in a trendy location. The food is mediocre, the drinks are bad, and the service is beyond horrible. Don’t waste your time or your money at RnR Gastropub.
Outstanding service by Alisha and Gabe!! I hope I’m spelling their names correctly. They were so friendly and personable. Not only were they prompt on their service but they literally did quality checks and made sure everything was okay. Thank you to them for also telling me and my friends about the brunch on weekends. AMAZING service to say the least! Also, delicious food - Alisha was able to give the most perfect recommendations and we had the nachos and Mac and cheese with jalapeños… soooo yummmmy!!!! Thank you to your two superstars for making this night for us! Will definitely be returning for all my Scottsdale festivities!!!!
Service was awful. I’m sure food would have been fine if I had the proper condiments I wanted for the food I was eating. Never was offered. Bottomless mimosas are always a great time but not here. So if the service was awful, means they will not keep up with the $36 they charge. A lot of potential but I probably won’t be back.
Dont bother with other pubs in ol Town. RnR is the best service and most beautiful woman youre going to get
Went last weekend (7/15) for brunch with a Bach party, started off really good, waitress was kind and attentive. As time went on, weather got warmer (we were sat outside even though inside was open and yes we made a month in advance reservation) and the waitress started to visit the table less and less and less. To a point where we were waiting outside for 30 mins before w head to ask another hostess to find our girl. She was hiding inside to stay cool, I get it, but we have to sit outside the whole time, we were facing the exact same heat and humidity yet managed to stay outside. The waitress started to not care more and more. Bad attitude and just did not care. Won’t be coming again.
The music was so loud, my watch and informed me of the decibels were too high. Levels were over 110 decibels.
IF YOURE A GIRL WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SITTING AT THE BAR! Just like other reviews... My friend and I went for lunch for my bday and sat at the bar. At first the bartender was nice. She took our order and gave my friend her drink right away, I never got mine. We were trying to get her attention and she would not even look at us! Im sure due to us being females because the guys besides us repeatedly got help. We even waved at her while she was talking to the guy next to us (which got served his beer about 2-3 times) and she pretended she didnt see and helped the other guys sitting on the other side of us. We looked at each other and couldnt help but laugh and even said to each other is this really happening!!! We didnt even get a refill for water!!! Our burgers were sort of big and we wanted a knife to cut it in half, we ended up using our hands which was messy af! We didnt even have napkins. We had to get the little ones from the bar. After 45min or so when we were done with our food, the only reason she came to us was because we waved again while she surpringly looked at us real quick. We told her I never got my drink and to just cancel it. She looked at us like ohhh. The drink was even on the receipt which she took off but said customer didnt like! I DIDNT even get it! She NEVER apologized and just moved on to help the guys. Ive heard of girl bartenders doing this due to men tipping better but we truly couldnt believe this was happening to us. Lol and if this was her assumption, well it became true because, sorry not sorry but we sure didnt tip her. Why would we if she did not check in on us whatsoever! The vibe here looked like it could have been great, but after all of that we didnt enjoy it.
Great atmosphere but horrible service. 2 hours in and still waiting for 3 meals at the table. Staff and manager are upstairs smoking joints INSIDE. We even made a reservation for 16 people and they did not have tables ready and we’re not prepared. A can of cold brew took 45min to come. We wanted mimosa flights and the waitress told us no, that we could have a tower so that it would be easier for her. Manager compensated us, did not offer anything, and then proceeded to sit in a booth drinking… while 3 people are still waiting for food 2 hours later…. Food came and there was a hair in one of the chicken sliders
Came with a group of 7 on a Sunday. We were told it was going to be an hour and 15 minute wait. They ended up seating us 5 minutes later. They were probably hoping we would go elsewhere. We were all dressed nice so I’m not sure why their estimate would be that off.We came from another restaurant so only some of us ordered food. We bought a mimosa tower and some other drinks. We couldn’t always find our server. After a little over an hour, we were told our time at our table will be up in 10 minutes and we had to leave. There were a few tables near us that were empty. All the other tables near us were people who were seated before we got there. The mimosas tasted a little off and the food is mediocre. After the service we received, we will not be coming back.
RnR is one of our favorite places to visit when visiting from out of town! Great atmosphere service and food.
Brandon provided exceptional service, the food was great. And the marg was delicious
Food & drinks were okay but certainly not worth this headache. We had a party of 7. When we say down we were immediately asked for a drivers license & credit card. No explanation of the menu but we were told that they could absolutely not split checks. 3 food items, 1 beer tower and a few drinks later we had a $350 bill (not itemized) that included gratuity, which we were not told ahead of time. Literally Vegas prices are less expensive than this place. We were also not asked if the card they took was the one we wanted to use for payment, they automatically charged it. That nice gratuity was for someone that checked on our table a total of 3 times, we had to hunt our waitress down most times to ask for what we needed. Really poor experience for something that was supposed to be a fun celebration. Go elsewhere.
It was more spendy than expected but they do have a nice outdoor patio/bar area. The loaded tots were good but the queso was super thin (runny and hard to eat with chips). Once the server brought our check we gave the feedback to her to pass on to the kitchen, but had she checked on us during our meal to see how we were doing, we would’ve told her then. No drink refills either. Not attentive service, and they charged automatic gratuity (well over 20%) - we wouldn’t have tipped as much as the automatic tip they charged because of the level of service.
Service was lacking big time. Our server thought her nails were so cool. If it wasnt for the kitchen help we would have gotten anything. No water refill our food came out in dribbles cold. Great giant TV.
We were there last Sunday. Waitress was completely rude. Started by threatening that we could only sit there for 2 hours and then she would kick us out. So embarrassing with our out of town guests. In addition, the waitress NEVER filled our bottomless drinks. We will NEVER return!
The food was sooo good. Hubby had the biscuits & gravy with eggs. I had the burger of the month. Our waitress Taylor was awesome, sooo friendly, and made us feel welcomed. The only issue was a fly kept attacking my husband🤣
NO GO FOR OUT OF TOWNERS. From out of town, website says open until 2am (& was directed there by my nearby hotel’s front desk)& was turned away at 9:59pm & was told “we close at 10”……….***luckily the sushi bar next door was more hospitable. Go to Ra :)***
4 small margaritas in plastic cups cost us $56. We ordered the nachos. A pile of chips on a plate with greasy ground beef and guacamole. We ordered the ground beef and guacamole as extras. If we hadnt it would have been a pile of chips with a few jalapeños on top. They switched the channel for the game we were watching as soon as we paid. Would not recommend this place 😕.
First time visitor. A lot of fun!! Service was good. Chicken sliders were a bit too done (dry), but the other people I was with enjoyed their food. Service was great. On my list to visit again.
You can’t beat a restaurant that has a big screen tv! I ordered a salmon bowl. It was great!
Karissa is actually the best ever! I have never had such an amazing experience! Gold stars all around!!
We came into RnR to watch some basketball games and have a drink. Perfect place and experience for this. The service was friendly enough. The beer was cold as it should be. The choices of screens to catch the game was vast. Just what we were searching for this evening!
Couldn’t even get service. Bartender never came to us today on sunday! Legit ignoring the group of 3 of us. The vibes seemed so fun. I wish it would’ve been different.
Awesome old town spot, especially on weekend brunch. Suggest making reservations ahead of time. Tons of bachelor/bachelorette groups rolling through. Fun and lively atmosphere. Try the lollipop chicken wings.
Got here pretty early in search of breakfast. If you get there at opening they have music absolutely blasting, a bouncer will stop you to check your ID, and then the bartender will take and hold your ID and credit card while you eat your mediocre breakfast tacos. Good choice for a crowd trying to get drunk at 10:00 am. but less so for a quick meal.
Fun place. Great service. Great views. Friendly staff
Was really hard to get drinks and food At the bar. Waited at least twenty minutes to order anything
I am horrified after reading the most recent health/food safety inspection...rodent droppings in food?!?! This place has been cratering for a long time. AVOID!
Watched the fights here and ordered the pulled pork sliders, it was really greasy and didn’t taste like pulled pork at all! They had the music at a VERY loud level even after the fights, I didn’t think it would have the atmosphere of a club.
Service is always slow, been here multiple times and each time servers were rude and unattentive. The last time we visited I hoped for the best, despite having a reservation for TWO MONTHS, which I confirmed the week before and the week of...for a bachelorette party brunch... Our reservation was not confirmed when we arrived and we were put outside after requesting inside each time our reservation was confirmed due to the 100+ degree heat in mid July. There were two tables inside reserved with signs for other parties indoors... Making me believe our reservation was bumped. We ordered two mimosa towers... NO OTHER DRINKS and it took 15min before our drinks came. Our server arrived to take our food order before we were served drinks... We didnt see our server again until after our drinks and food were served by other staff members. Food itself was good, that is all I can attest to being good about this experience. Mimosa tower was absolutely not worth the price... $80 for 3L... It has measurements on the tower... BOTH of our towers were filled to the 2L mark... When advertised for being 3L... We had 12 people... Unless youre drunk already... You probably wont enjoy starting your day here.
This place had a nice atmosphere but the drinks are overpriced and the food was underwhelming. I got the steak nachos. The steak was delicious but the queso on the nachos had no flavor to it at all. My partner got the Buffalo cauliflower and those were actually pretty decent. We should have just gone to the burger joint next door.
Great environment, great service, and the food was good! The cauliflower bowl was good. We added chicken. My son said the Cubano was the best hes ever had in his life. The Mimosa flight was fun, but just okay. The bloody Mary was good, but not the best ever..
Karissa is amazing! Great service, great attitude & accommodating ! Made this brunch so much fun
We went there late one evening. The service was friendly. They have a huge immongus screen to watch sports. Definitely a sports bar. We just had drinks. I cant comment on the food.
Went for brunch on a Saturday morning. I’m not even a foodie and the food was mediocre at best. Avocado toast was dry, pulled pork tacos were dry, and came without any salsa or sauce, and the servers weren’t helpful or even friendly. It seemed as if we were an inconvenience for them. The music was so loud so we couldn’t hear the person next to us, which is semi understandable as it is also a day club, but when the waiters can’t hear you because of the music, and then they seem annoyed about it, when it’s their music, it dampened the atmosphere.Food was meh. Drinks were just okay. Service was poor. Overpriced and overrated.
Don’t waste your time. We took a bachelorette party here at 9 am. On a Sunday the only open spot for the reservation that day, which has a two hour time limit. The place was virtually empty.I think the waitress visited our table like 4-6 times. because her and all the others were on their phones in the corner for the most part of the morning. Chitter chattering it up.When our food came out the syrup was all served refrigerator temp on the lukewarm food. I then requested some warm syrup. It came out room temp. Whatever,We are all great tippers for excellent service, but that one didn’t deserve the $60 gratuity that was added to our bill for our large party. Boooo…
Cute vibe, came here on a sunny afternoon with my husband. Food was okay same with drinks but the service was not there. The waitress was chatting with the other staff and when the wrong drink was brought out I went to the bar staff to correct it instead of waiting since I knew she wasn’t around. The bill was hard to get, all in all bad service.
Love this place!!! My husband and I come here every year for a fun brunch and to watch the football games. They always have lively music playing, great food and good brunch specials. Would definitely recommend for a fun brunch spot!
Group of 20 dropped $800 here at lunch for the worst service I’ve ever seen, pretty subpar food, but at least average drinks. It was nearly impossible to get our waitress’ attention even though the place was more than half empty. She would dump off the drinks on one side instead of placing drinks near the correct people. She also brought out plates that were still soaked in water but still somehow dirty, dumping a ton of dishwater onto someone’s head. They gave us some incorrect food orders. The “queso” looked more like soup and was truly…. special. Nachos are honestly worse than Taco Bell’s. Wings were tiny and sauced inconsistently. The only good food was the animal fries. But wow. The. Service. Was. AWFUL.
The Charoz breakfast tacos were so delicious and the bloody Marys are on point. Atmosphere is fun! I have 2 boys and earlier enough in the day, the music is playing but not too loud where it bothered them. Definitely recommend!
Karissa was such an amazing server and was so attentive, sweet, and personable! She’s the best!
Place is the spot for relatively cheap drinks. Good sports atmosphere, has UFC fights. Was there for the Jake Paul fight and Brently the bartender was fast and attentive. Highly recommend him as a bartender.
Such an awesome vibe and great customer service.
Outside if the wait 5 stars. But 5 is 5! Great drinks! Short but good list or breakfast. Nice music for a younger crowd. All and all my new favorite breakfast spot with drinks including bottom list mimosas! Service was good for the crowd. Seating wasnt perfect but it worked out. 1 sentence summary Perfect breakfast/morning drink spot for Old Town.
Sat at the bar for over 10 minutes not even a hi or any eye-contact from the bartender. Had enough time to look at the menu, glance at everything and decide my beverage. Then more time went by and figured my money will be better spent elsewhere. :)
Other than it being a bit cold(buy I am from Florida) it was great!Definitely recommend if youre in town!
I had the pleasure of being served by Brently during my recent visit to RNR. Their customer service was absolutely impeccable. Brently went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Its rare to find such dedicated service, and it truly made our evening special. I would highly recommend Brently to anyone visiting RNR. Thank you for the outstanding service!
Brunch burrito and drinks were very good. Staff and bar tenders were not very friendly at all. Number one complaint, I absolutely hate it when there is an attendant in the mens room. I can pump my own soap and grab my own paper towel.
Came here for some breakfast food and they delivered. The entire meal was amazing. Their breakfast burrito is very good. Tortilla was excellent and their breakfast potatoes are to die for. Their salsa is great, too. Other person got a pulled pork hash. The seasoning was great on the pork. The food also came out really hot. In summary, the service was amazing, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing. 10/10 will return.
The food was very bland, not much flavor. Drinks were ok. Bartender and server were nice and tentative. $35 for bottomless mimosas and bloody Marys for 2 hours at brunch is what you would expect. Nothing fancy just basic. Ok place to go with a group of people.
Stopped in for a late breakfast after visiting the farmers market. My husband and I both had breakfast tacos. They were very good. The atmosphere is very trendy & loud. We sat upstairs on the balcony & enjoyed the people watching. Our waitress, Marissa was very attentive & friendly.
It seemed like the timing was for an older clientele. They looked like they were around 60’s. Music was okay. Food was bland, pulled pork hash. Waitress was attentive but brought the bill without asking if we were done.
Totally tried to stop in to watch the SEC championship game here and I dont know if I just rolled into a party or something but it was totally not conducive to watching a game. The TVs were great but the dj was super loud and people were dancing in their seats... Just not what I was looking for when I wanted to just watch a game 😂.To be clear it looked like others were totally enjoying the experience I think I just was in the wrong place for what I was looking for
Maybe it was unrealistic expectations because we were just looking for breakfast, but after asking for a table in a basically empty restaurant right after opening, hostess checking reservations, then finally asking if we knew we had to be out in less than two hours, we were shown to a table.Server told us she had to keep a credit card and ID while we were there. We asked why, and she said she was new and went off to get an answer. Another server came to our table and said it was their policy because it gets crazy there and people tend to skip out without paying. We informed them that they trusted us enough to eat dinner there the night before, but the only answer was that it was their policy. We decide to go elsewhere where patrons werent treated as thieves. Told the hostess on the way out why we were leaving, and again were met with an indifferent Its our policy.Very customer unfriendly establishment and Id encourage others to stay away unless you want to deal with people that treat you as guilty until you pay your bill. .
The food was great! The manager however was was rude. We had a table of 15. However they didn’t have enough seats again once we came to our reservation and the manager by the name of Adam was rude. We were a table of15 and by the time payment came they did not tell us prior how many times we could split payment. The reservation was for 2 hours only and by the time our reservation came to an end we were asked to get up to accommodate the other party that came. We did but at this point the manager had our payment and told us to “the the F out” after standing to the side for 20+ minutes. This was a birthday we were celebrating so we definitely won’t be returning.
Food was good. The hostess was rude to members of our party at first when we requested a change in seating due to the physical size of people in our party. The music got crazy loud and made the second half unenjoyable as well. Loud music is okay but when people sitting at your table cant hear you yell, its too much.
Kay was by far the best waitress we’ve ever had! She was so attentive even when it was busy and went above and beyond to be sure we had a good experience. We had an entire bachelorette party and were relatively needy when it came to allergies and other needs and she made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. 10/10 experience! Thank you!!!
Went here for an end of Sunday Funday and a birthday for a friend, and it was awesome. Drink specials and food were great. We had green tea shots, watermelon margs and the Buffalo cauliflower, SUPERB!! Wait staff was fun and energetic as well as attentive. Clean and friendly environment. Definitely and nice spot to chill and have a few drinks!
Absolutely terrible…We stopped in today (2/7) for lunch after a morning of traveling with a party of 10 adults and 3 kids and were very disappointed. Our waitress (Callie) was very unprofessional, unfriendly, and inattentive. The restaurant was not busy at all - yet we had to go to the bar to get our own lemons (plus take it out of the holder ourself at the bar), had to get our own water carafe to fill our cups, and saw her 3 times (to take our drink order, to take our food order, and to give us our check). Then to top it off our fries got spilt while handing us our food and then forgot to bring us new ones until we asked. After all said and done, we were very unpleased to find out we couldn’t split our checks between parties in our group & found 20% gratuity added to our bill without our knowledge while our service from start to finish was terrible.
This place was HORRIBLE. I don’t even leave reviews but this experience was so horrible. Service was poor. I ordered a Turkey scramble with regular eggs instead of egg whites. It came out with egg whites and instead of taking it back to fix it they just brought out a side of regular eggs. We never touched the scramble. When asked if it was okay I made a disappointing face and she just said “sorry” and walked away. Had to constantly ask for things that we already asked for. Just overall a horrible experience. Food was gross. Do not recommend
The food was basic the staff was great but save your money and eat elsewhere. The staff was kind and lovely just the food was bland and basic. Only positive was the fun staff
This place is dirty. The floors are really dirty. Especially on the patio. I don’t think they’ve ever been cleaned. When I sat down at the bar the seat was sticky. I moved to another spot, that seat was sticky. The bartenders leave their drinks all over the bar violating health codes. The bartender that served me actually had her drink right on the bar. Service isn’t very good either. They’re rude and act like serving you is a chore. I won’t be going back.
Hit it on a Sunday not too packed. Sat at bar and service was good. Ordered the burger which was also good. BUT …….WTH !! 1 double Tito’s and soda was $30! Not even Vegas or NYC prices go there! Ridiculous. Don’t drink cocktails unless you have a black American Express card.
Karissa was THE BEST!!! Made our brunch so much more fun 🥰🥰
Food/atmosphere/and beer selections with numerous TVs are nice choice for watching a game or lunch at a window table..Mixed drinks are way overpriced! $30.00 for two very weak Tito’s vodka and club soda is to me unacceptable. If you go, enjoy the pub/sports atmosphere and stay away from the mixed drinks.. So not worth it!!
A tad pricey, but the food was good. I really liked the pretzel bite slices it made it much easier to eat! The bacon brussels sprouts burger was a unique and tasty burger. Definitely enjoyed it. The chicken sandwich was nothing great, Id pass on it in the future. The slider sampler was good, but a little on the small side even for sliders. It was pretty loud, with football on every monitor. Our waiter seemed more interested in the game then waiting on us, but was nice enough. There werent any traditional tables that I could see inside, just a lot of high tops and a long table with couch like seating. I would eat here again.
Stopped by on Saturday night after our golf cart driver recommended the place. My friend and I ordered a couple of margaritas along with queso and chips (which arrived AFTER our burgers). Although the queso was really good, the burgers were very filling and most of the queso didn’t get eaten. The burgers were tasty, fries were just right. Margaritas were okay. The service was definitely lacking. Probably wont make this one of our go to places on our next visit to Scottsdale.
The food is good, the atmosphere is fun. The service is horrible. It makes me sad, this is super close to work and used to be a great place for lunch but we left having never actually gotten the drink refills we requested when our food came. We were brought silverware instead. We asked for things multiple times and still spent lunch without drinks. Even a good burger will make you thirsty.
Very average food, and extremely overpriced. Expect to pay like $20 for very average burger and my chicken was so dry I had to choke it down with my water. Oh, and music was so loud that I couldn’t hear my wife and kids sitting next to me. This place is trying to hard, and should be a hard pass while in old town Scottsdale.
Karissa was great! Very attentive and super friendly. 10/10 recommend service was phenomenal
Great service but unfortunately the music was so loud we couldn’t even have a conversation (even the teenagers agreed). The food was pretty good though
Interesting place. The food was very good, value was fair for price, but now it appears to be a go to place, very busy, expect to wait for a table and although the music was good, it was exceptionally loud.If you sit inside it is hard, if not impossible to have a conversation, pick the patio.
Great atmosphere and food! A little loud but it was fun.
Sundays bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosa is always a good time. With the price you get a credit for food as well which helps. Usually goes from 10am to 2pm for the deal. The weekend DJs are usually pretty good and have a good vibe going on. The service is usually great on weekends when they have lots of staff working. Service in the weekday sometimes is really slow.
Im only giving this place 2 stars because the food was good and had good beer options. The service was horrible!!!!!!!! Server never came around when needed and we had to move tables because grandma almost got knocked out by the screen that was flapping away. I wouldnt even go back for the food as the service was that bad. Also who serves liquid cheese on nachos. I have worked on hospitality for 15 years and I can tell you I would do a big fire and hire if you want this restaurant to stay open. Another big issue is the automatic gratuity I understand with bigger groups but doesnt mean you can slack off. This server did not deserve 20%. I watched multiple tables complain and I watched two different servers go up to there table and complain about there tip. I dont know any establishment that allows there servers to go up to there tables and demand more money for tip. Honestly that clearly states how bad the service is if multiple tables are complaining and arent tipping.I will not be back and read this review to make sure your making the right choice in going to RnR. Servers work hard for there money and your servers dont work at all!!!!
Compact venue with friendly staff and decent food. Bottomless mimosas are not the best and have a 2 hour limit but the buckets are great! Highly suggest you make a reservation before you arrive.
Brooke was very kind and friendly. We have a service animal, Brooke asked questions that were ADA compliant. Most places do not know the real laws, I was very impressed. Also the beer was delicious so it was an all around win win.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!We were traveling to Arizona for a bachelorette party and so excited to try out their brunch. We booked a reservation to make sure we could get a spot. Our flight from Canada was cancelled while we were waiting to take off and we had to fly out the next day (the day of our reservation) and obviously could not make the reservation as we weren’t even in the country. We sent an email with proof of our flight change and they STILL CHARGED US $140 FOR MISSING THE RESERVATION. When we inquired further they told us that they required 48 hours notice no matter what. Is that a joke??? Were we supposed to be psychics and predict that our flight would be cancelled? This is the worst customer service I have ever heard of. Way to ruin a bachelorette weekend.
If I could give 0 stars I would. For starters, they put us at a sad excuse for a table. We were in a walk way right next to a bar back station with a half eaten Jimmy Johns meal. It was so busy that people continued to bump into us. So we asked to move and they did which was great, until the table was directly under a speaker so I couldn’t hear myself think let alone the person sitting 2 feet across from me. The food was so cold when it came out. Our server was completely dismissive and after asking for silverware, she walked past us 3xs and still no silverware. It wasn’t until a nice man who may have been a security guard upstairs? Maybe a manager? Either way, he noticed how we had no silverware, empty drinks, and disappointed looks on our faces to ask us if everything was ok. At that point he did waive our entire bill which wasn’t much because we had barely been waited on. AWFUL experience. Will NOT be recommending to anyone and most certainly will NOT be back. Thanks but no thanks.
Not impressed. Got Wings, a drink, and a Santa Fe Salad. Bill came out to $57.00 ($7 tip included).Drink was a small cup and was just blah. Wings, maybe 3 were full size. All the others were very small and not worth it. The salad was ok nothing special. Just bland tasting chicken.Prob won’t be back here.
Hannah was amazing. She was really good
We had a party of 8. The waitress was either new or just didnt care. She took orders from 3 people then just walked away. When we finally got her attention, she said it wasnt her fault. Someone ordered a Cesar Salad and she asked what kind of dressing they wanted? Isnt that basic knowledge for the job she was doing? The host of our party didnt get his order ( the first time) until everyone was done eating. They got his order wrong 3 times before he gave up and just ate what they brought. I get it that people/places have bad days but this just makes me not want to try again.
I was hoping the top bar and balcony would be open but on a Tuesday it wasnt. Still had a nice patio and view of Scottsdale Road. Service was a bit spotty but overall was a pretty good experience. The food was nice. I would like to see it on a weekend when it is more lively and then revisit the review.
The food is over priced and poor quality. My chicken sandwich tasted rubbery and a little like a cleaning solution was sprayed on the grill before the meat went on. I had such high hopes for this place because its always packed. It must be the cool location and balcony set up, because its not the food. Or the service for that matter. The staff was more interested in standing around chatting than serving their patrons.Definitely had higher expectations.
First time going to RnR and was very disappointed. We had to wait over an hour for lunch for a table of five, while 3/4 of the restaurant was ordering drinks and receiving them by the minute. Our server could’ve done much better checking in- when stating we had to leave to just wipe the bill for the amount of time had passed we just received confused looks and “let me go check on that” for the 5th time. Received our food in boxes on our way out the door- no sincerity for lack of service nor was the bill even discounted. Would not recommend, unless your a party of 12 going in for bottomless mimosas.
I planned a week in advance to spend my Birthday at this place. I reserved a table and confirmed. I was NEVER told they overbooked. I was rudely told this when arriving the day of my Birthday. The hostess was EXTREMELY RUDE AND HAD A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE. I was rudely asked to leave my table two hours later and rushed to finish my meal. I paid good money on the drinks and food. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone nor will I go here again! Beware!!
Ive never seen $10 toast or $13 bud lights at a restaurant not in a resort. Prices are insanely high for no apparent reason; definitely not the atmosphere, quality, or service.
Skip it.For a place that calls itself a gastropub the food was perfunctory at best.$9 for a Dos Equis lager in a warm glass that tastes of the soap it was washed in.An aloof bar staff on a less than busy weekday night that went out of their way to avoid eye contact with guests who sat with empty drink glasses. My good order was incorrect, but the bartender’s first instinct was to deny it, then later she admitted to being “new” and didn’t recognize how all the dishes should be.Mistakes happen, life goes on, but the vibe of this place is that the staff is doing you a favor by doing the absolute minimum. If you want a beer go down the street to Coldwater Brewery where the staff is friendly and engaging and make it a point to call you by name and make recommendations.
This place was okay, went here on a Saturday afternoon. The staff look like they were more interested in socializing and dealing with the customers. Once some regulars walked in the staff parked up and was joking around with them. Meanwhile we had to wait a little bit to place our orders. The vibe just wasnt that fun and it was a little warm inside so I dont think we will be back
Our server upstairs was wonderful, her whole section was full and you can tell she was doing her best to make sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered fries and they did not bring them out. When I told them before I paid tab, they took it off and gave me some fries to go. Good business practice!
Cocktails are over priced. Over all not impressed. But they do have a really big screen to watch sports. The music that was being played, definitely not appropriate for a sports bar setting. Good service tho.
If you’re a part of a bachelorette party then you’ll get great service and attention. Food took over an hour to come out. Waitress only came to the table once for drink refills. Restaurant wasn’t close to being busy just a severe lack of communication. Better options in old town.
Another place that is just OK sorta. The place is incredibly NOISY probably due to the fact that its all brick. The service was simply BAD, the waitress didnt seem to care if we stayed or left. Party of five and we were nice to her! She didnt ask if we wanted appetizers or offer suggestions on what was good and when asked offered little to no information. She asked what we wanted to drink and before we finished just left for five minutes and then came back with water. Then she left again for another more minutes and returned with our drinks, BUT than she left AGAIN for another five minutes and then asked if we were ready to order. When the food came 15 - 20 minutes later it was Luke warm at best and soggy. It was honestly terrible. I could go on for a lot longer but suffice it to say, find something else this place is not worth your time or your money
Its hard to say what is worse: this places service or its food. Or the ambiance. It doesnt deserve to be called a restaurant, much less a gastropub. It was hard to say whether the waiter suffered more from lack of interest or cognitive horsepower. Probably both. The food was mediocre at best. The extra I paid for steak on my wedge salad was a waste. By the time the waitstaff got around to giving me a knife, it was cold. That probably didnt matter because it was so tough and tasteless I didnt want to eat it anyway. Others at my table complained of soggy, unseasoned, limp sweet potato fries and general mediocrity of the food. I suppose if you are an ASU student celebrating a 21st birthday this place would work out. They have booze. If you are looking for a decent meal that is worth the money, dont eat here.
It was recommended to us by someone working in the hotel we were staying at but honestly it was scalding hot outside and the parking was closer to another place. Im giving it 3 stars just based on limited parking and quality of outdoor seating. The place we ended up going to had outdoor fans with mist and was very much appreciated - it made a total difference in our decision.
With the loud party music and party atmosphere, this place is cool. the food was not bad, overpriced but it was good. I tried the pulled pork hash and it was tasty! the bottomless mimosas were always hot would have been better if served cold or over ice
I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant! We were in Scottsdale for Spring Training and had our kids with us! The waitress was extremely rude to us when we showed up and then the manager came over and was just as rude! They made it extremely clear that they did not welcome children or want our business! We left after being there for 5 minutes and went around the corner to Rehab Burger where we were welcomed and treated so nicely!! Would never recommend RNR, but walk right around the corner to Rehab Burger as they have great food and service!!
My friend won gift cards to RnR at a corporate event and we decided to make this our first stop to celebrate her birthday. Service was nothing special, but no complaints. The food was subpar at best and drinks were overpriced for what they were. When our bill came and we attempted to use the gift cards as partial payment, the general manager, Jeff Barbera explained that he was unable to accept the gift cards, as they did not appear to have come from RnR. We were four women in our 40’s; needless to say, we would have chosen to patronize another restaurant had we known that we would not be allowed to use gift cards won at a corporate event, with no expiration date. I have emailed the corporate office twice with full details of our experience and after waiting more than three weeks, I still have not received a response. I do not recommend this place nor will I be back.
The hostess seemed cranky right away. Took 15 minutes to get seated. Sat at the bar with my wife. Didn’t get any service for 10 minutes while there was 6 bartenders behind the bar and multiple bartenders kept walking by and still couldn’t get anyone to serve us. Finally we got the Bar backs attention and he got someone for us. 15 bucks for a beer and rail vodka cranberry. Seems like they just make up there own pricing because the bartender was like ahhhh 15 bucks?? So then I gave him $20 and I see him put it all in the tip jar. Still have me $5 bucks back but seemed weird....Terrible service full of snotty people definitely wouldn’t recommend. The workers are the worst!!
Great bottomless mimosa deal for brunch and good food. I’ve been here a few times and every time I was freezing. I get one of the walls opens to the patio and it’s winter but can they put the heat on at all? Also, the music is SOOO loud. They keep turning it up every so often. Again, I get it’s supposed to be a lit brunch place or whatever but by the time I’m leaving around 1 I shouldn’t have to be screaming my head off just to be able to talk to the person next to me at the table.
We sat at the bar, wasn’t that busy, Literally only 6 other people sitting there. We waited over 10 minutes to even get water or menus. The bartender didn’t greet us, didn’t apologize for the wait, didn’t feel welcomed AT ALL. They claim their menu has Gluten free options but only ONE item, the side of corn, that even has GF next to it on the menu. Beyond disappointed in this place. We drove all the way here from Ahwatukee for breakfast and mimosas and left without even ordering because the service was that bad. Will not be recommending this establishment.
Server was not very good. She forgot 2 salads in our group of 5, even after I reminded her and she said oh Im so sorry, I will go get those right away this was after we all had our entrees. Felt like it was over-priced. $125 for 2 kids and 3 adults, and 2 of the 3 adults ordered nachos only. Big TV screen was really cool though.
Just like the other reviews, this place is pricey for what you get. I got the Ahi Tacos, which had such a nice flavor, but the plate itself was so small and not filling. Just 4 small, and I say SMALL tacos and thats it. No rice, no salad, NO side of any kind! Very disappointed when my plate came out.The servers rushed around like they were busy, but when I looked around the restaurant, it was more than half empty! Food and drinks took a while. Needed to order round 2 of drinks when the first ones got to the table.Id only suggest this place if I HAD to. Would definitely go somewhere else in downtown from now on.
I went here for a Sunday brunch and unlimited mimosas...it was the best day drinking party Ive ever been to. The food was great, mimosas are delicious, and the music with the live DJ was awesome. It gets very crowded but everyone was there to have a great time...most epic Sunday fun day ever!
